He's good at jumpscares.
Huntress: That lullaby is ominous, but really needs to be the crux of her kit, rather than hatchets (addons). (If we're going for actual tension anyway) Music is great at building atmosphere, and TBH it being overshadowed by the Terror Radius is just plain stupid.
Maybe have her able to throw her voice, and make the humming sound like it's coming from another direction, making the survivors move towards you, and BAM! You're right in from of them with that evil/malicious 3rd tier humming.

The queus are already that long... and when you get in a lobby SWF the killers DC.ΒDeadByFlashlight said:@Cymer said:
Are the community manager and or devs reading this and are aware of the state of the game?
As I understand it, without killers no game, because killers are hosting the game.
What needs to be done, that killers want to play against SWF?
All what I am reading support strongly to implement voice so the game can officially change for the better or acknowledge the problem.
I think the majority of the killers would feel better, if there is an official statement that SWF using voice is cheating but their hands are bound to do something against it and they have no intend to find a solution.
If that is the state of the game the killers can accept this and decide to play with it or, like one of the devs stated, play another game like ciV.With such a statement they would shut down any further discussion of that topic and we as a community could move on and focus on other stuff.
What needs to happen is that killers stop talking and actualyl take action. This happened only once when we had a somehow "organized" strike and survivor queue times went up to 40 mins.
The problem is that killers (including myself btw) just swallow the toxic pill down and accept things, personally I derank now becuase I cant stand high ranks anymore.
As you said, killers are needed to host the game, but as long as there is one for every 4 survivors, the situation is still acceptable in the devs eyes, thats the real issue.
Given lobby dodging & external apps Killer's have their pick. Not sure why so many complaints given most don't play against SWF anymore, at least on PS4 anyway.
Switched over to Friday until they fix this. Lobby times are much, much quicker π
I love this game but 59min to get a lobby only to have the killer DC is boring... It is however a great way to kill the game all together π -

I know a lot of Freddy players tend to run regression build because survivors want to wake up often time they'll not hit the overcharge skill check but this especially when you combine it with huntress lullaby regresses the generator by 11%.CoolAKn said:I'm not sure why a Freddy would use Overcharge, especially since Overcharged gens are easily identifiable, and guarantees a Skill Check asleep survivors can use to wake up.
Using this strategy of freddy can essentially drag the game out for a very long time meaning survivors are either going to have to rely on healing skill checks or each other waking them up. The latter waste lot of time and the former if the Freddy is smart about who he hits this can be very easily negated

You literally pinball around thanks to your add ons putting everyone to sleep ASAP. It really throws teams off.
Also running Overcharge with Freddy can be smart. As you know they will instantly B-line towards a Gen. Usually looping you a bit, meaning there is few pallets around ANY Gen by about Midgame, leading to free hits just before they wake up, or right after you put them to sleep again.

- you can run around the map and keep refeshing leader for another 15s for your mates by just being close for a short time. that's a big buff imo and you can use the speed buffs even in chases.
you need only bloodlust 1 for beast of pray which procs kinda fast. 90% of survs rely on the red stain, so you don't even have to mindgame much to get a hit. - freddy rework wasn't planned for this midchapter patch. DS change was actually promised, but who cares, it's just a fking game.
Tbh the PTB patch notes and changes are huge and pretty appreciated. there are many QOL improvements and thank god, they finally fixed even some oldschool bugs which persist in the game almost since release.

It's why they keep their mouth shut on everything and instead drop surprise changes. They didn't like the changes to DS, so it's not happening. Yes, console is different then PC and subject to bugs exclusive to the platform but I'd rather deal with those bugs then be 4 months behind the PC due to PTBs
PC they release the PTB instantly. Consoles have to have the code approved. This process takes up to 10 business days for new games usually. Taking the worst case though you're looking at 6 weeks. So at best, consoles would get access to the PTB after the PC version has concluded and is already a month behind PC as they'll get the post PTB first, right as console PTB concludes. Then we have to wait on the patch which is another 2 weeks, again at best, which is probably around the time the PC would get another patch.Β
