Well it sorta depends on what happens to PR. DMS is stupid on artist though unless they plan to increase hook timers, but it’s fine on most killers.
-
It’s not just repressed alliance, blocked gens are just being allowed to regress in general. Please fix this.
-
Can we please wait until we actually know what the changes are before making threads like these?
If they announce a bunch of perk changes and don’t address the base game adequately, then we’ll talk.
-
I used it a lot as a new player but I haven’t touched it since then. It was helpful back then when I didn’t really know how to find survivors but now I feel like I don’t really need it and I’d rather have other perks, especially as someone who uses BBQ a lot for points anyway.
It isn’t a bad perk by any means though. And it pretty much guarantees a 4k if you close hatch.
-
I think locks just need to be slightly more of a time investment (like a couple seconds). I think the whole locker priority system would actually be fine if this was the case. I don’t think nightfall should allow you to completely ignore them as that’s when his power is at its strongest anyway.
-
Floods is good on certain killers. Grim embrace will never be meta though unless it gets a buff. It’s trash right now.
-
It’s tricky. I really feel like it needs to not work against stealth killers, but idk the best way to make up for that effectively.
-
That + a couple more slots would be really cool.
-
Make their BP bonuses basekit. They shouldn’t be attached to a perk.
-
It should show the other survivors you have it in the corner like it does with WMI so they know they don’t need to save.

As a solo-Q survivor who prefers stealth, seeing perks like Calm Spirit, Iron Will, Spine Chill, Distortion, and Off the Record on the list has me a little nervous.
Well if I had to guess OTR, distortion, and calm spirit are probably getting buffed, not nerfed. Distortion buff is actually kinda scary tbh because it’s already good and underrated imo.
-
I’m willing to wait and see what happens after DH is nerfed, but I do think SB and overcome will rise in popularity by a lot
-
Being deepwounded doesn’t count as losing a health state (unless you went from healthy straight to injured w/ deepwound, like with legion/slinger). This is consistent with other perks that trigger on health state loss such as blood favor.
However, it does count as a health state for healing purposes (eg. adrenaline will remove deepwound and leave you injured).

Doesn't nurses power recharge during her fatigue? Why not make it so that it doesn't do that anymore?
Would that be bad?
Yes and I wouldn't take that away either. Base recharge is fine as it is imo
-
Change nearly all of her addons. Range and 3 blinks can go in the trash can, recharge should get nerfed, and almost everything else should be buffed/reworked to not be meme status (but still not super strong) so she would actually have addon variety.
In addition to the special attack thing, I’ve also considered the idea of her not being able to see auras while blinking but I’m not 100% sure about that.

It does not produce a notification.

Why we would want to lower it anyway? Both perks are fair and fun.
I mean I agree BBQ's non-bloodpoint effect is fine but they still want to change it because it's meta. And personally I'd like not having to run BBQ every other game. I just hope they make it baseline instead of taking it away entirely.

You are right about your first point. I say a 5 second cooldown after getting hit while saboing is a fair compromise, like how Soul Guard was given a cooldown to prevent abuse.
I disagree with your second point that Sabotage is effective at countering Scourge Hooks right now. Survivors have no way of knowing which hook is a Scourge Hook. The only way to confirm is by seeing a perk like Pain Resonance activate nearby and remembering the hook, which would be fine if there weren't 4 different Scourge Hooks, meaning it would take until late game to find all the hooks.
Additionally, one perk, Floods of Rage, gives no visible indication to the survivors that the perk is activate, bar perks like Distortion. So you could have a game where survivors don't even know there is a Scourge Hook perk in play, which could become problematic as more Scourge Hook perks are added to the game.
All of these points makes countering these perks with current Sabotage unreliable, as most of the time you have to make a guess where the Scourge Hooks are, and you might not even realise Scourge Hooks are in the game. Allowing Sabotage users to see Scourge Hook auras would open up more skillful plays and planning on the survivor's side, while also keeping the Scourge Hooks in check for the future, potentially leading to more interesting perk ideas.
I could maybe agree if scourge hooks were actually more consistent. But right now you might get good scourge hook spawns or you might get 3 in a corner of the map and not get to use them a lot of the time. In other words they’re already rng dependent.
Also we know gift of pain and pain res are getting changed so we might as well wait and see what those changes are first. I could change my mind in the future depending on how those go.

Why they would do that? We still have to grind to p3 every characters. And if they remove bp bonuses, grind will be issue for new players as well.
Probably because removing it from BBQ will be the only way to lower its pick rate. And at that point it would not be fair to allow WGLF to keep it.
Ideally though they would just make those bonuses basekit instead.

No
-
99 gates is fine the way it is
-
Second this. This happens every single time.
-
I haven’t personally encountered this however I have seen others mention it
-
There’s no way Pop gets buffed. I also think botany is getting nerfed, not buffed, but I could be wrong about that one.
-
Removing SWF is not a good solution to the imbalance between solo and SWF.
-
It’s definitely better than last year. At first I thought I was just getting lucky.
-
Bunny Feng ftw.
-
I do agree with changing the cooldown conditions, however I think you should still be punished for taking a hit before completing the sabotage. But it’s definitely annoying to accidentally trigger it (eg. after unhooking and trying to heal) and then having it on a 60s cooldown.
Imo there are 2 ways to fix this, you can either give it a 10s cooldown after a failed attempt, or increase the sabo time to 3 seconds and have the cooldown only trigger after a successful sabotage. I think the first way is better since this doesn’t require nerfing another aspect of the perk.
Disagree with the scourge hook stuff though. Sabotage is already effective enough at countering them as it is.
-
Oh thank god. Those were looking impossible tbh
-
I didn’t even realize earlier that it wasn’t on there. I agree they should change it.

I wonder how much lockers cost in the Entities Realm...
Maybe this will be useful?
-
Grim Embrace is a perk that is completely overshadowed by NWO. Why run a perk that gives me either 40 seconds of slowdown or absolutely nothing at all when I can run a perk that gives me up to 60 and will still give me something even if I don’t get 4 tokens?
-
I was surprised they weren’t there. I don’t care about UB that much, I really only have an issue with DS/UB combined. But COH not being there likely means they’re fine with boons as they are which is disappointing especially since the weak boons can’t get a buff as long as boons in general stay as they are
-
No idea how buckle up still exists in its current form. But yeah this is weird for them, they never change stuff that quickly once it goes live unless it’s obviously broken like boil over was
-
The open mouth means they were sacrificed. The closed one means they were killed some other way (eg. a mori, pig trap, bleeding out).
-
They said in the anniversary they are making base game changes to go with these perk changes. The key is that those changes need to address the issues those certain perks currently do. If they don’t, then that will be bad.

I just hope lethal doesn't get butchered
If they nerf it I don’t think it’ll get much use anymore. It’s already overrated imo

Looks like they're going to buff Self-Care. We absolutely cannot allow the healing meta to continue, it's far too much to handle for m1 killers - especially those who rely on hit and run strats.
It was in the top 5 meta perks. It’s absolutely getting nerfed.
Tbh what I’m hoping they’ll do is not nerf self care by itself but nerf its synergy with other healing perks (eg. botany + selfcare).
-
We don’t need to buff nurse.
I really hope this is not controversial.
-
Yes it’s absolutely still worth running. I get value all the time.
-
There’s no point in retiring them. People save some of them as souvenirs. What’s wrong with that?
Players are under no obligation to use their offerings, either now or in a year from now.
-
It's fine for now because myers isn't that strong. If they ever buffed his basekit (which they should) then it would probably need to be changed.
-
It should be removed for both sides.
-
Rancor just shows a snapshot of where you are at the moment a gen is done. It doesn't continue following you around for those 5 seconds like a traditional aura does, nor is it even considered an aura, therefore distortion doesn't block it.
Also I'd say 4 uses is pretty balanced. It's not meant to be an infinite resource.
-
Nurse really isn't that far off from being fine. She just needs a few smaller changes (mostly her addons). A rework is unnecessary.
-
Nemesis is okay but his zombies partially ruin it for me. They're not fun and they either do nothing at all and get stuck in corners or they feel extremely cheap to go against. Either way they suck. I don't have any problems with nemesis himself.
Pinhead is alright. I wish the box didn't separate solos and SWFs as much as it does, but I like his chase power and I'm fine with him overall.
I'm in the minority that actually likes the Artist. I understand why a lot of people find her boring but I actually really enjoy her and I play her semi-frequently. Her and her perks are the only good thing about that chapter though, Jonah is boring and the map is bad.
I love Sadako but she still needs some changes. Very weak killer and I almost never see her.
-
I’d much rather each killer have a chapter to itself and have that killer be well polished and well designed than have 2 killers in the same chapter where certain aspects of both likely get rushed to get them both done in time. Not to mention one killer would very likely overshadow the other.
-
It’s not a bug, dead hard is just an unfair perk
-
Yeah Eyrie is terrible. I don’t even enjoy playing it as survivor
-
Ruin is fine. The numbers will likely get toned down as part of the upcoming perk rebalancing, but there’s nothing wrong with the core concept of it.
