Simple short question. Between killer and solo survivor, which of these is more frustrating to play, or in other words, which would you prefer not to play between the two.
Survovirs are getting mire toxic and doesnt care there is another person on the other side they make me just wanna leave the game everything is handed to them

Its just nothing to do with it at all. Easy example how grades work: Player A and Player B are both equally skilled. Player A played 10h and player B 20h. So Player B is red grade, player A is silver grade. Nothing to do with skill. Thats how grades work up to 90%. The rest 10% just relate to how fast you get into those grades, depending on skill or gamestyle. Skill in this case is just negligible.
With 1000h you should at least know how matchmaking works in general.
I honestly dont pay attention

Heck yea I fricking hate that perk with a burning passion its just asking for you to be tunneled

Yes. The more content a game gets, the less impressive new content is. I barely even register the addition of new non-licensed chapters these days, DbD has more killers than it ever needed.
I think the more killers the better they said themselves they want a lot I think they said around 60 or more honestly I think its best because I get bored cycling through these it gets boring I like new killers changing things up

Maybe it should though why should killers who don't have much kit or are just starting out have to face 1000+ hour players just because the mmr favors speed.
I 100% agree I had no idea thats how the mmr works its all kinda messed up and doesnt make it that fun to play when there are the most toxic survivors or really good and dominate/ gen rush
-
@Tiufal said:
Is it really that hard to understand that grades arent related to matchmaking and skill?
Honestly from my prespective it is if I can 99% pick out a grade and its accurate then yea the grading is skill like "is it that hard to understand" is rude and sounds arrogant I have 1000 hours I still dont know how the matching works k its ranking system so thats under the assumption that you get matched with your rank or a bit above how else would you yourself get ranked up if you get all reds breaking you like sorry grades and skill are related

@Valik said:
Post Game Lobby needs a lot of work. While we can talk about what is best, who here thinks that there should be an option to return to matchmaking as a team?
There are plenty of times where strong teams are broken up at the end - and sometimes it's uncomfortable to have to send friend requests just to que up with good teammates.
Do you want to see a 'Stay As Team' option in the Post Game Lobby to re-que with those who opt in?
My only worry is the wait times if that happens other than that I think it would be fun you could Male a new friend from it
-
Other than dead hard which is the most annoying perk and decisive strike I dont really have an issue with boon totems though

I personally hate playing against hag because of her having a lot of traps that can be countered with a flashlight or crouching. The thing is that you sometimes don't take flashlight with you and crouching reduces your speed significantly, so you want to avoid doing that. She has a lot of traps to hold and place, and it slows the game really bad.
Stop nerfing killers because you cant beat them a lot of a class killers getting nerfed because people cry over them then complain that they are weak and boring its annoying
-
@Faulds said:
Do you think NOED needs to be nerfed in any way... or do you think it should be let as it is?
As far as i'm concerned, NOED should be changed because it can give too much value to any killer regardless of their skill. I always refused to run it, then started to use it on endgame builds for funsies... and it just does feel busted to me.
Im tired of people wanting to nerf everything killers dont get much anyone its always survivors because they cry when the odds arnt in their favor and we get the brunt of it

I would love childs play I really think it would make the game me fun because the mechanics would be so different and unique.
My other one would be pennywise there is this youtuber that did a simulation and it would fit perfectly plaus making it to where he can impersonate a survivor would be cool these guys are my most hyped

It could be due to your fellow survivors as well sometimes they make it really hard on us where we dont wanna be in the game anymore because they treat us badly. I could name a lot of examples but yea in general just being jerks.

There is a lot of people crying about how unbalanced is this game. Besides specific perks, survivors complain about tunnel and camping the most, and killers about gen rush. The perks the make game interesting and different overtime, but camping/tunneling/gen rush don't.
That is the pont of all this crying. I don't care if i die as survivor or if i kill no one as killer. I want to have a great time playing the game and to have at least TIME, the game has to get rid of those mechanics that make the game shorter and boring for any of the players.
How? I don't know. I think it's not about perks. But playing around perks, to...
...avoiding camping: BT should be a mechanic, not a perk. A kind of Camaraderie could be implemented with the killer as the trigger and depending on gens done. If none is done, progression of the entity is completely stopped. If all gens are done, no 'killer camaraderie' at all. And all the calculations in between.
...avoiding tunneling: DS as a mechanic and should be balanced depending on how many gens done are in game. If none is done, DS is longer and has no restrictions. With all gens done, DS is shorter and you can't even open a gate without losing it, for example. And all the calculations in between.
...avoiding gen rush: Corrupt Intervention as a mechanic. Deadlock as a mechanic but with a rework: ti only leaves unblocked the 2 gens with the lowest progression in the map.
This also can be reworked. All constraints about tunneling/camping may be reduced if a gen is completed in the moment. All constraints about gen rush may be reduced if someone is hooked.
May this proposals make the game boring? May be. If we don't try, we won't know it. But I am also start of being bored of the actual gameplay, and I prefer to give it a try.
Give more ideas!
I honestly think they should somehow put an entity to block the vicinity of the hook if you arnt carrying the survivor and if you are and if survivors are around it blocks them from the hook while survivor gets put on it ones it does the killer gets put out of range or something like that to make body blocking, direct sabotage hard and camping as well with someother things as well

Same I felt bad hitting them because we all bonded and was having fun I didnt kmow if they wouldnt trust me after that. Thats when I didn't know thats how they would get rewards too lol.

rank doesn't mean anything its easier then ever to get rank 1 just look at the players individually instead of basing your frustration's on their rank
Thats like everyone one lol monkey see money do i feel. The reason I base red rank is because everytime the players are toxic or just straight up troll end up being red rank. For example a couple months ago I said imma weed oit the toxic frustrating players then let the non live and do gens freely sure eneough the red ranks were the rude and the non red were chill and ran, did gens, ect healthy normal play. Just now everytime go to pick up a servivor one comes around the corner and takes out the hook and theres no other around so im forced to drop and get the other survivor then the same thing happens. Then another that time with the pallet even though I have the recommended perks to counter act it. Its just frustrating. Its rare to actually find an enjoyable game and its hard to put down because its addicting. Im just sick of toxic survivors that do all that extra stuff when killers dont have much power against it they outnumber and can easily take the game hostage. I hope ringu can conteract them because they are ridiculous.

Ignore grades, they're not used for matchmaking at all and they only indicate how much someone has played this last month. There's lots of people who are really good at the game but only play a match a day or something so their grade never gets that high. There's really good players who just haven't played the last couple weeks for whatever reason and so they're low grade when you see them. There's not so good players who just have a ton of free time and play the game a lot (I think this category includes a lot of kids who like the game but don't get the strategies for instance.) I was watching one red survivor on a stream a little while ago for example who was red grade but honestly they just weren't good at all. (I mean, they hit skill checks, but they didn't seem to know what they were doing beyond that. Didn't loop, weren't watching around while doing gens, were the first to die every game. They must play a lot to be red rank but I guess it just hadn't clicked yet what to really do?)
Don't get me wrong, there's a correlation where a red rank player has a decent chance of being really good. I'm just saying it's not as strong a link as you might think.
I dont know because I play heavy and still have never gotten up there I am just sick of getting red ranks because their toxic and frustrate me and cant play a normal game without bullying the killer they make the game miserable

Eh.
- Yes, it's a very difficult priority to learn. The tutorial makes it seems essential.
- I find myself doing this sometimes. Gotta go Crazy Ivan to catch people.
- To be fair, even very experienced players fall for this sometimes.
- Yeah.
I'd also add
- Misses a lot of attacks.
- Overcommits to unwinnable chases.
- Camps (it sounds weird, but it's such an obviously effective tactic, and new players might not know that it goes counter to the etiquette of the game).
- Gets 360'd a lot.
- Always vaults or breaks the pallet.
- Spends a lot of time waiting for 1 gen to regress.
Im not a baby killer but I do tend to overcommit a chase especially if they were being toxic. I dont care I will find a way to down them lol

there are a lot of killers who are broken like ghostface, mickael myers, the doctor, the wraith ...
and others wh oare normal like the trapper, the huntress
and people abuse of the broken killers so sometimes i just want to break my computer
Its because survivors cry their too op then they get nerfed so they can run all over them its because they cant beat them they wanna take them down a notch then complain that they are week?
-
The survivors ruin it for me the toxic ones I should say and the camp killers
-
Pennywise there was a youtuber I forgot the channel. But he showed a simulation and ideas of how he could work and I think it would be perfect but also making it where he could transform into a survivor perhaps.

Pig and GF can t-bag... Killers can constantly smack survivors on hook as well. Let's not forget watching the slugged survivors bleed out because killer won't hook them. Killers can be just as toxic.
I smack them on the hook when they were being disrespectful, toxic, and harassing other than that I leave them alone
-

You gotta kill them. Play as hard as they do, don't ask their permission, don't seek their approval. Kill them like a killer.
Yea that is easier said than done its 4 against one, when they are all around you undoing the hook flashlighting you and body blocking its really hard to do that I swat they just juke it

It's telling whenever there's a topic bringing up survivor toxicity, a bunch of survivors come in and defend it by saying blaming the killer for not liking their intentional bm.
It's also funny, because the same survivors will throw a fit you facecamp them to death, because how dare you do anything they don't like.
Honestly then they call for a nerf of the killer that their op🤣

I mean, there's still a big difference between those two complaints. Tunnelling and facecamping end the game early for one or multiple Survivors, and are actually torturous to deal with in a pure gameplay sense--those two behaviors actually affect the video game mechanically. Even the developers have stated that they are trying to find a solution for facecamping, which confirms that it is a behavior that actually affects the video game negatively and needs correcting.
However, crouching and clicking have no actual effect on gameplay. There would be no difference mechanically between a Survivor standing in the exit gate doing absolutely nothing and one standing in the gate crouching repeatedly. It's purely emotional. The developers aren't going to do anything about crouching and non-macro flashlight clicking because they literally do not affect the game itself in any way, shape or form.
Not to mention, like I said previously, teabagging your opponents has existed since the dawn of multiplayer gaming, and people understand that in every other video game... except here. It's pretty crazy.
True honestly it would be funny if they had a penalty for doing it so many times in a row they get stuck in that postition for like 5-7 second exposed.

I love how someone tbagging in DBD is somehow on the level of a real world fear or a real world mental illness which is pretty ignorant and honestly it's sad. If your skin "loses thickness" over something someone did in DBD of all games your skin wasn't very thick to begin with. If you are getting that tilted over something someone is doing in a game and letting it bother you that much then it's time to take a step back think about a few things and work on yourself. There are people in this world dealing with actual issues, some people have to fight tooth and nail every single day just to barely be able to get by and don't even have the luxury of having time to escape it by playing a video game. So when people sit here playing dbd for hours on end every day and then wanna cry because someone tbagged you I just don't respect that.
Lol the teabagging doesnt bother me as much its the hounding and flash clicking destroying hooks as I get there the whole time. Just because someone has it worse doesnt mean we cant complain or get upset thats not valid in any conversation. Its like telling someone who lost someone they cant be sad because someone has it worse I hate when people say that lol just saying anyways I honestly needed to vent it was mixed with me having a bad day as well

It's not about survivors. It's about players in general. When I'm playing survivor and I can loop the killer they won't let me to chase someone weaker. They decide to get genrush because they won't break the chase with me, then tunnel me because they can't stand I was playing better. If I'm playing killer and they lose, they will DC or call me trash. So it's not about killers or survivors, it's about the person behind the character. If his behavior sucks, you will get toxicity. Their ego is too huge to accept a defeat.
Yea your right it is about the player I definetly am the killer to keep chasing you until I get you😅 im a little competitive and dont like to lose but I dont get mad I get gen rushed because I know it was all on me not the healthiest but..

@CowabungaDude said:
Survivors can only harass you as much as you allow them to. Try to realize that their teabags and flashlight clicks don't mean anything. i know, not everyone is resilient to that sort of stuff but once you develop that "whatever" mindset those clicky clicky neas shouldn't get to you. Not trying to say that you should be a lifeless, emotionless mat and let people step on you. Instead don't focus that much on the negative parts of the game and you should have a way better time. A trick that helped me was pretending like I was playing with my friends. No pressure of losing, no fear of BMs because at the end of the day, what does it really matter if I eat some teabags at the exit gate?
I dont even go to the exit gates anymore lol unless im with a cool crew which I have had plenty where its like good game and they give an offering or something and there not all over me like flies lol

You can condition yourself to respond differently.
Being blinded legit hurts my eyes. I've played with sunglasses on because of a group before. I'm a rageaholic. Even I've gotten past it. You can change how you think if you try, Yes it's work but you can manage it.
I do try and its hard it's like saying dont get sad or ever get angry in your life its hard like I am really competitive and im cool with the survivors and respect them but a lot of them just troll its on rare occacions I get the cool ones. Like I just had a match with some cool survivors and we just farmed together and im sure we all had a laugh after they let me down them they tea bagged them and let me hook and I let them get points lol I love those kind of games where we can all have fun and be respective of each other

While I do agree on that I dont play survivir eneough, I was just venting because as I go in rank they get more aggressive and take the game if im putting it right
-
Ok so I had an idea im just going to weed them out so I can enjoy the game if they are not all that way. Also as I was saying earlier I had a match just now proving m point there were 2 survivors just wanting more attention I guess lol I got them out and one dcd so I left the other survivors alone and let them do all the gens and just chill with them, they were pretty cool. Thats when I love the game is when they are cool and not all swarming you. Its exactly as you said above thats hard to not get annoyed by and people are like well do this or defend them and say its just a game but its hard when your competitive and you have that mode on idk I just enjoy the survivors that play normal and dont irritate the killer lol
-
I only do it when the survivor is being toxic and making me mad lol then I would hit them on the hook
-
Lol thats not an anime amd its too requested
