So just a random thought I had: Is the lightburn mechanic necessary? It seems old and outdated.

    Should it be removed?

Yes its annoying as the killer, especially when they spam flashlight twice in a row like its not necessary I hate those types of people lol anyways yea they should get rid of the burn

  • As I play survivor more and I get the wraith I noticed he is most likely to camp🙄

Trickster. Just his design is annoying.

    How is his design annoying?

trapper with no traps should be the only killer, its the only way to balance the game once and for all

What no traps? I feel like thats a handicap I feel like a lot of survivors are entitled. That's his gameplay he's weak without them and plain. People saying killers are op really arnt they just don't know how to win against them. Yea some frustrate me but im not gonna be like nerf them because I cant beat them it's all on the person who plays the killers and if thier insanely good. 4 survivors one killer survivors out number and sometimes dictate the game. No one needs to be nerfed or have abilities tooken away.

I believe he might be a bit overpowered with how much his chains slow you down during a chase. If you compared his power to Huntress, you'd see that his "hatchets" are much easier to hit, especially since you can "throw a hatchet" through a wall. The survivor's large decrease in speed is enough to make it possible to reach the other side of a loop before the survivor can break all of their chains and vault away. Huntress can do something similar to this by throwing her hatchet over the pallet/window to hit the survivor directly, but there's one key difference: The Huntress requires direct line of sight to use her power, while the Cenobite doesn't. So essentially, The Cenobite has hatchets that take a moment to register damage. Not only that, but the added complication of the Lament Configuration will DEMAND the attention of at least one survivor who could've been repairing generators. If anyone ignores it, it makes it INCREDIBLY difficult for survivors to perform any action that helps the team in any way by disrupting repairs, stopping heals, and outright denying the ability to cleanse a hex totem. This COMPLETELY STOPS THE GAME FROM PROGRESSING until at least one survivor picks up the Lament Configuration and solves it. This allows The Cenobite to chase at least one person consistently, due to his ability to teleport to anyone attempting to solve it. If nobody solves it, hiding is impossible anyway because the chains that constantly bind you make a lot of noise, and are very easy to spot. If a survivor just holds it without solving it, they become a walking beacon that can barely contribute anything to the team. Once they inevitably go down, the chain hunt begins again and slows all generator progress to a standstill.

Again, think Huntress, but she isn't slower than most killers, her hatchets are slightly delayed but still deal damage, and she owns a box that can completely stall the game and make it impossible to make any generator progress without allowing her to chase at least one survivor consistently. Overpowered. Nerf please.

I don't necessarily agree I like that he can do that and the chains don't hinder a survivor too much I main cenobite and sometimes I still end up in a chase and getting looped I just get an extra catch up time. Now if it injured them then I would say he's op. But his strengths are his chains. The box doesnt take much time to open so it doesnt waste much time it helps the team. From the killers perspective I would rather it take longer to solve. I dont think he is OP one bit but I don't tjink he is weak it all depends on who plays him.

  • What about devilman crybaby I think it has elements that could work. Or Monster, have a human killer such as yohan idk how that would work but I feel that they would fit the game. Junji itos work would be intresting to see as well.

No, this is really stupid. This behavior isn't "toxic" and it's not something you can really punish.

They're all mechanics that aren't used solely for BM (i.e., survivors using the teabag motions to communicate with one another) and asking for them to be changed due to hurt feelings really sounds more like a personal problem.

You dont have to say its stupid you can put it in a better way just some perk ideas

  • @Fobbo said:

It should not be punished but would be so funny and i would love to see it as a joke

Same lol I thought it would be funny if the tea bag one was a thing lmao 🤣 I wouldnt even down them. Idk these seem like these would be fun killer perks.

Body block isn't toxic u can take it out. Body block is base mechanic and u get points from protecting people.

U can't limit flashlight cause it's also used to communicate with teammates. U can get their attention by clicking them too.

Not sure what can be make about t-baging. And i honestly think it's in on the bottom list of devs priority.

Im not asking for them to fix it. Also I had no idea you got points for the body block I dont play survivor much. I just thought these options would be cool as a perk I guess. I had just came out of a match a couple matches actually where they would flashlight me after breaking the pallet which they made me thinkt he went around lol then I left them alone and another survivor did it then kept looping and tea bagged every time this was just mearly out of frustration I have been irritable latley lol I ususually dont care about that stuff😅

Killers are always talked about when it comes to penalty. So what about toxic survivors when they constanlty tea-bag, body block, flashlight and other toxic things . I know there are perks to prevent some but I wanted to make a poll for ideas that I have it might not make the most sense its kinda just brain storm and could not be a great idea anyways let me know what you think.

So I know its all over the place but I would like to know everyone's opinion☺️

Edit: for the tea bagging they get stuck in the crouching state for a limited time.

Holy ######### I've never seen so many back to back games where a killer facecamps a minute into a game. This is ridiculous and just proves the point: devs' lack of willingness to bother fixing this, rather than being lazy and letting it destroy games is out of hand now.

At higher MMR, it's pretty much all you see now. It's not fun, it's not fair, and it's making the game incredibly difficult to swallow. Either SBMM needs to be turned off, or this ######### needs dealing with.

The devs can only do so much. I am tired of seeing everyone complain about them. I am sure they are aware of the issue and are finding ways to solve it. We dont know how some of the things they have to do on their end. They could be trying to find a way they can do it but are at a stump idk. Also, they could be working on other things people are wanting fixed they can only do so much at a time and are probably working on the little things while thinking of how they can fix the bigger things. I am sure there aware of issues always being complained about. I know on our end it could be frustraing but its not like the game is unplayable there are bug that is noticible but usually its like a glitch or a small moment but that could could be fixed. Camping and other things like that seems hard to really penetalize or make a system for if that makes sense.

  • Im awful at using freddy and some of the other like Michael. But im pretty good at using pin head and the pig out of all of them.

Honestly, not sure about the power. I've mostly just wanted a licensed chapter from the 1999 movie for years because of the creative aesthetic opportunity. Rick O'Connell would be my new main if they got him. An ancient Egypt map could be so incredible, and the mori could involve scarabs eating you and/or getting mummified.

If they licensed from The Mummy, maybe the power could incorporate sand or his organ jars (an added objective or maybe even a power up?).

I actually like that maybe even the locus swarm or something.

  • How would the mummy work? I mean I am not against it just curious on what the perks could be and his look, pace and powers.

  • I tend not to enjoy it when the survivors flashlight everything or try to teabag and body block.

    Hag

You surprisingly dont have the most common answers on there,

For most people it's either Spirit, Hag, Deathslinger, Doctor, etc.

I forgot to add her I honestly hardly ever get her so it just slipped my mind.

  • I didn't think of that you are absolutely right, either way it wouldn't be fair and there would probably be a lot of complaints.

I asked the question because I seem to keep getting the same maps in a row. I feel like there should be a better rotation or choice but you provided a good point on the choice part.
