While its a cute idea, I would prefer it if survivors remained as they are. We don't want the stale-ass meta becoming even staler due to specific survivors being better at something particular.
-
Will it be the same level of bully simulator that the original Last Year was?
Also, did they step away from the 3 different original killers or something?
-
I don't like how Behavior merged the statistics from all the platforms into one mess. I'd have loved to see it separated by platform instead. Would have been better. Oh well. Same as last time.
-
Preferably without merging all platforms together into one incoherent mess like the pick rate/kill rate statistics.
-
The one true platform.
-
As someone with Carpel Tunnel syndrome, hammering space-bar literally HURTS for me. If they made it so that you need to help it down instead.. that'd make me so happy.
-
I'd have picked 'Drained' if it was a choice but 'Exhausted' works too.
-
The whole "killer stays within x meters and get debuff" concept has been tried out in a PTB way back and it was abused to hell and back by survivors, so it was canned.

I think it's 107% walking speed when he throws bottle and amount of base bottles he starts with that keeps him down. If you do math, you need get 2 hits within 4 bottles, that's around 2 bottles per hit. It's not that realistic. With huntress, you get 5 chances for 2 hits. It would make more sense if he had 5 or 6 bottles so he doesn't run out in chases. Dedicate servers latency issues mess up his bottles as well, so hopefully that get fixed one day. Just my personal opinion on it.
The slow down from throwing doesn't even make sense now when Freddy's a thing, who can put down a constant stream of snares without having to stop to take a breather.
-
They do this all the time. They're afraid to give us the raw, undiluted data.
-
Why not? Might as well cannibalize the corpse of their franchise to keep it.. 'alive'. Maybe it'll make more money in DbD than it ever did as its own game?

Interesting, I was always wondering whether Doctor or Clown was worst killer in the game. I guess wrong. Guessed that Hex:Ruin doctor really keeps him a float. Poor clown can't catch a break with generators at red ranks.
As an avid Clown player, the fact that Clown's the worst have been revealed to me since a long time.
-
Imagine seeing Clown down in the bottom.. Color me surprised at the realization that the Clown is a weak killer.
-
How pathetic it is to see Nurse sharing a spot with CLOWN.
Good work on that small cooldown on her blinks, it seems to have robbed her of a lot of prowess.
-
Hell no.
I'd put them in the same category as the cringey creepy pasta killers like Slender Man or whatever.
-
Having it rely on random skillchecks makes it unreliable.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Those survivors are probably just freaking out and trying to zigzag their way to freedom not realizing you're trying to protect them.
This. Some survivors simply don't belong in the high ranks because they cannot read their fellow survivors' actions.

No no and no.
Now after disabling them I get cannot connect to server error and I was not getting that b4. I've restarted, rebooted and turned cross play back on....then restarted and rebooted again and now it's a permanent error screen when hitting ready on killer or surv.
Thanks for making it worse.
Same. I get an error now, no matter if Crossplay's enabled or not.
Yay.
-
19 here. Its not going very well.
-
As long as they keep making money, the list of characters in their game's gonna grow.
-
I see a severe lack of Clown.

Except every comment on slugging for a 4K is made with 'You got 3 kills; be happy with that' or some variation of that. They act like inflicting this on someone is unthinkable and selfish.
Can you blame them? They've had an exciting game of doing absolutely nothing. The lack of interaction is very frustrating.

Breaking the pallet takes priority over them raising it.
So if the survivor has started the "raise pallet" animation, the killer can "interrupt" them by breaking it?
Awesome. As it should be.
-
I'd say that I can hit greats 80-90% of the time after a game or two to warm up.
-
Hopefully the Survivors "raise pallet" animation doesn't have priority between that and the killer trying to break it. That'd be broken.
@Peanits , can you confirm?
-
Increasing the amount of traps he can carry by default by 1/2 and letting him reset a trap without picking it up first would help him A LOT.
-
When I don't wanna rank up as fast, because 3 sacrifices rarely reward 2 pips but 4 sacrifices do.

The only problem with that second one is it carries the same issue that nerfing SWF does - people wanting to play with their friends may simply solo queue strategically until they all get in a lobby together, in order to get the bonus or avoid being handicapped.
So nothing changes, except that playing with friends is more inconvenient for those that don't want to be disadvantaged for it, so for player satisfaction reasons we might as well make it easy for them to play with their friends freely if they're just going to do it anyway aaaand we're back to square one.
If people are that hell-bent of bypassing the system for some extra points, then so be it. It'd mean that the chance of facing such a SWF would be minuscule, thanks to the amount of players in the matchmaking already.

The main one would encourage lobby dodging but I fully support the second option, who doesn’t like more bp?
People will dodge lobbies nonetheless.
More BP is nice.

@supersonic853 said:
How would they even...Moreso id see a buff for a killer when in a SWF match like 25% bonus bp for each survivor in a group or something like that.
I can see two ways to "nerf" SWFs.
The main one, and the easiest one to implement, is simply to add a UI element that shows who's in cahoots with who.
The other one, that'd go perfectly hand-in-hand with the one above, is to add a reward for killers AND solo survivors playing with/against SWFs. Like you said, a bonus BP reward for those not in a group.

It lacks play testing I would say.
Would it even matter at this point? They seem to be so distant from the game they're making..
-
- Make Legion on that the premise that "they're very fun to play with and against".
- Legion's extremely unfun to play against because there's literally nothing you can do as a Survivor. You're going down no matter what.
- Devs spend many updates on trying to band-aid Legion's power, by changing perks and how mechanics work.
- Legion players keep finding ways to bypass changes, keeping their oppressive presence going.
- Devs finally "rework" Legion by curb-stomping them into the side-walk and burying them in the woods.
- Changes a few perks and suddenly, the Legion they tried so hard to get rid off pops right out of the ground, thirsty for blood and salt..
I don't even know what's going on in the Balancing department of Behavior's company.
-
Just gonna tag @Peanits and @not_Queen because this is something a lot of players would appreciate.
-
Less is More.
Imagine having a well-crafted Jack the Ripper-themed killer in the game. It'd be dope.
-
19, I think. I am definitely not going to beat the Rift until it closes.

I know, right? You'd think she'd have her unique animation or something.

I won't be buying the DLC anytime soon.
Not looking forward to facing Nemesis Legions.

You are not in the right state of mind to understand the Dev's brilliance.
They're playing 5 dimensional chess and are 7½ steps ahead of us.
-
That's pretty much how most players would build Legion if the changes come to Live.
-
We'll just be back to the good old days with moon-walking Legions.
-
I am so not looking forward to facing the old Legion again.

Yes it does.
Why the ######### is old Legion back?
Because the developers don't play their own game.
-
Another kick in the balls for Solo survivors.
-
The survivor's perks are actually pretty good.. what a surprise.

Atleast be positive about the chapter
When I see how the killer perform and what perks come with the survivor/killer, we'll see.

So did the trailer for The Phantom Menace and look how that turned out.
Better than the Last Jedi, at least.
Even mobile games got cool trailers. I'll judge the DLC when it arrives in the PTB.
-
I am just way too jaded for this. We'll see how well the Oni plays. Expecting another easy-to-abuse M1 killer.
-
Susie. One of the few skins I've actually bought.

Feeling so old I might be needing a walker soon.
