@se05239 But there is no dbd pack sale on ps4 or xbox.
Plus if you had a lot of cells pre-bought for this stuff or earned them in the anniversary contests you can get deals on em on pc.
@Bbbrian2013 I wouldn't know how the Console situation is. I play strictly PC.

The funny thing is, on steam there is a sale too and you're way cheaper if you buy things there than in your store :)
@GraveHunter They hope no one noticed. There's more pure revenue gained from people buying Auric Cells than there is when people buys Steam Store DLCs.

Only in chases.
The reduced TR disorients survivors, making them misjudge how far away you really are.. especially if they cannot see your red stain.
-
Did you honestly believe that Ghostface was fit for release when you put him in the PTB some weeks back?
-
There's literally nothing to loose here.
Like, farming with friends will take longer and earned you less points in the long run than a few games with a survivor pudding and stacked BBQ anyway.
-
Not much.
-
15-20k for a solid game. 25-32k means you probably farmed or the killer played super-duper casual and wanted all to escape to begin with.

Here's a thought.
How about we nerf none of these killers, and instead improve map design as well as tone down their overpowered add ons?
Because even with map design the way it is, most of these killers can be reliably beaten.
Nurse is tricky because she does teeter on the edge of being overpowered. In which case, all you need to do is make stealth more powerful on the maps that need it.
@Mister_Holdout How dare you propose such a hideously killer-favored suggestion? Improving map design? But that'd make weaker killers more viable, further promoting killer variation throughout all ranks!
-
Yes, please. At least the Killer's own three perks should be equipped by default, even if you don't have any of them unlocked.

I really hope they comment on this
@Jonathanskilz Why should they? They're well aware about it.

Press that button on the chatbox. It'll close the chatbox and it won't open until you press the button again.
Also make sure to make it so that not-friends can leave comments on your steam profile.
It'll save you a lot of sanity.
-
No measurement will be taken against the survivors who started abusing Wake Up after it was bugged.
-
The killer only have the cakes. Survivors fight for either firecrackers or cakes. So there's a huge chance that you get firecrackers instead of cakes, thus reducing their commonness in the survivor bloodwebs.
Probably an oversight from the developers but it sucks a lot.
-
- Map size needs to be reduced overall.
- Most maps need a revisit to change super safe loops to be less safe.
If the two above points are handled, the game will be better overall.
Weaker killer will end up stronger since they can end up at place B faster from point A and their effectiveness in chases will be improved, resulting in shorter chases and more map pressure.
-
There should be no punishment for wanting to play together with friends.
Instead, reward killers (and solo survivors) for playing together with SWFs.
-
Puking with Plague at the end of the game cause it to crash..
But like, its not the most broken update. Its just more broken than usual.
-
@Andreyu44 Most survivors are exploiting a bugged perk.
-
They're fine. They just remove two hooks from each survivors, making killers more dangerous.
-
You should never punish players for wanting to play in groups.
The better way would be to add a lobby UI to show killers (and solo survivors) who's in a SWF and with who and then REWARD killers (and solo survivors) for playing together with these SWFs.
-
The developers won't punish anyone exploiting this perk. Even if they can tell that there were no one using the perk prior to the exploit was found. Killers on the other hand though..
-
Raw, not manipulated and wholesome stats. Yeah, I'd love to see that.
-
Are you leveling up survivor?
Because they also have the party starters that can be in the spot where a Gateu could be. If the party starters didn't exist, survivors would also be swimming in Gateus.
-
The slowdown is such a noticeable thing, as well. The old Legion made you feel FAST and AGILE! Now it's just an obese person trying to make their way over an obstacle. Completely unnecessary since they already neutered his power.
-
Let me just say that I am really against perks that makes it easier to repair generators.. due to obvious reasons.
-
This will solve nothing.
Promote killers to leave the hook and go hunting, instead of more unnecessary camping related changes to punish them more.

Survival category is incredibly difficult depending on the killer to max out that last 3k. You would have to escape the killer's shoulder SIX TIMES and escape alive to max out survival category.
Every killer needs to have some form of survival point event. Dodge a Leatherface chainsaw where he comes within 2m of you during the chainsaw charge? Get survival points.
Altruism points are hit or miss and survivors compete over them. Not to mention healing takes forever, so meh.
@tehshadowman33 It'd be kinda cool to be honest. It'd be easier for some killer powers to add a survival point event to but some are really obscure.. so it'd not be as easy overall to design evenly between all killers.
-
You can thank Claudettes for that.
-
I'd love to not use Ruin but like, the games are so fast without it.
Ruin is a symptom of a bigger issue within Dead by Daylight.

And how many competitive games give one side a latency advantage (killer) for being host?
@darktrix Don't you worry. The Dedicated Servers are coming Soon™.

@Akisohida said:
Why does everyone want to 'deter' Killers?
Like, Survivors are fine (for the most part) with gen rushing & doing their goal of winning..But the second a Killer camps, they want it 'fixed' and 'deterred'.
It's like some Survivors want to dictate exactly HOW a Killer can play.
Killer hook camping? That's not fair! Find a way to deter hook camping!
Killer hatch camping? That's not fair! Find a way to deter hatch camping!
Killer tunneling? That's not fair! Find a way to deter tunneling!
Killer slugging? That's not fair! Find a way to deter slugging!
Killer patrolling exit gates? That's not fair! Find a way to deter exit gate patrolling!
Seriously! If the devs listened every time some Survivors wanted to 'deter' a Killer behavior, Killers would not be allowed to do anything except run around and shout 'Boo!'
@Akisohida Survivors have been blessed for a long time with a sense of safety and power. Killers have been treated like bloodpoint piñatas throughout most of the game's history.
That's why we have this "How to Play Killer: The Complete Rulebook" by the survivors that killers should follow, because the game becomes more fun FOR THEM. That's why killers get so much hatred and spite when they camp and tunnel.
The latest Killer Emblem changes that promotes a playstyle similar to that featured in the Rulebook shows that the Behavior share this belief that it should be fun for survivors. It'll always be more important.
Its the sad truth of it all.

Bugs aren't even the issue anymore... at least to me, not a huge priority. This event has only highlighted how horrible the grind feels.
I don't know about many others.. but I don't think I'm gonna wait a year for a solution for it.
@TheBean A lot of people have issues with map design, how stressful and frustrating playing killer is, and how monotonous the gameplay is for survivors who're not being chased).
Skipping a Chapter for major game improvements and health would do this game good.

No, clown's speed was normalized after patch 2.0. He doesn't lose speed using his power anymore.
SOURCE - https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Movement_Speeds
@FrenziedRoach As someone who plays a lot of Clown, he DOES slow down when you throw a bottle for about a second. The slow is really noticeable.
-
Sooo.. why aren't you doing generators instead of watching a killer camping the hatch?

Ok the point of the gameplay or i wasnt there to still play. What i mean is, when u unlock every single perk on everyone, what's the point to still play? Ok 2-3 games but then idk u but i quit
@xChrisx If you now have every character P3'd and all perks and everything, then you're not gonna be affected by reducing the grind. You've already reached the end of the journey.
-
Eh, why not.

BHVR has to release cosmetics so that they can earn money and pay their employees who work on fixing bugs.
@NoShinyPony With the current cost of the skins, it makes perfect sense to prioritize making cosmetics. They're making bank.

@BBQnDemogorgon said:
@FoxWolfFrostFire But if it wasn't awful people would actually be satisfied with their characters and builds.
At that point they're playing just to play and will slowly drop off.
Never feeling done is never quitting.
@Bbbrian2013 The ones that already got everything can never be satisfied anyway. You need to think of those who're starting out or are in the middle of the grind already. They're suffering.
-
@MegsAreEvil said:
Why should a game balanced around a minority of hardly 1%? THAT doesnt make any sense.
@MegsAreEvil Because that's what every other competitive game does it. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?
-
Now when Pop Goes the Weasel has been improved, I use it together with Ruin on my Clown.
-
I always suggest in every WGLF thread I come across, that you should get a token for healing a health state on another survivor alongside getting a token for protection hits and safe unhooks.
Would make it much more consistent.
-
Getting more bloodpoints overall makes for a much more fun experience!
Made a thread a while back with the purpose of improving the bloodpoint offerings to net you more bloodpoints overall AND lower the grind. By lowering the amount of BP offerings from 15 (16 for survivors) to 8 for either side and improving their value, its a reduction in the grind in two ways.
Here's a link to the thread → https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/46827/a-rework-of-bloodpoint-offerings

@se05239 I didn't notice you added that the first time.
Only thing I can think of is, making one of the few options or all of them part of hitting someone directly with bottle.
Increasing the affect duration(how long it last)
Increasing the blurry effect
Increasing the slow down/hinder
@SpacingLlamas I can definitely add that to the list.
-
That sounds awful, if I am being completely honest with you. 30 seconds is a massive amount of time and it opens up of problems when survivors can restore pallets at problematic loops.
-
Even EA and Activision have competition when it comes to outrageous MT prices in Dead by Daylight. With a Battle Pass coming up, it looks like Behavior's going for a number 1 spot.
I think its deranged that their prices are so high, that most cosmetics cannot be bought for shards and those that can be bought for shards are insanely high in cost, making it a literal grindfest in order to amass enough shards to make a purchase.
There's a reason why I am so negative towards the in-game Store.
-
With survivor or with Legion?
-
Behavior went over and beyond when they nerfed the living daylight out of them, removing everything about them that was fun.
I think the biggest thing about the new Legion is that he feels so slow and sluggish now, compared to how he was before. Being fast was fun.
Moonwalking and being able to use FF to down someone were the two main problems the old Legion had. Those two issues were fixed but everything else was hurt in the progress out of fear I imagine, that people still would have a bad time against Legion.
