@Twinbros you, my friend, are exactly what's wrong with this game. This "I don't give a ######### about my fellow survivors, as soon as things don't go the way I like, I'm ready to screw them over".
God I can't wait for dedicated servers and the mass banning of players like you. Hope BHVR will finally prove serious about it. Crossing fingers...
@George_Soros Gonna be a wonderful day when the forums are flooded with "I was banned for no reason!" threads.
-
Because of a single character.
Claudette.
-
Increasing generator repair time alone won't solve anything. There's no survivor out there that's in love with the concept of holding M1 all game.
-
How'd YOU balance the generators to make the removal of Ruin manageable?
-
In Behavior's eyes, being customer friendly doesn't generate enough revenue to be worth it.
-
Just gonna ping you @Peanits. Because if this is true then the developers are just blatantly lying in our faces again.

When i play killer I really haven't felt any issues caused by lag, but yeah I guess sometime the killer must get some too. But still in general affecting more the survivor side
@sluc16 You don't get it. The killer is the host, they're always playing at 0 ping. However, the survivors can get little to a lot of lag depending on the killer's internet (and their own). If you're playing DbD at a McDonalds Restuarant then you'll only get survivors who lag as ######### because the internet you're using is garbage.
-
I used to play quite a lot, now I mainly play 1-2 weeks after each rank reset down to rank 10 and then I go on a break again. Been at rank 1 before and the amount of not-fun you experience there have murdered much of my fun with the game.
-
Since I am primarily a solo survivor, I run Borrowed Time (because its just too good), Decisive Strike (because tunneling is a thing and while I understand why killers do it, I hate it), We're Gonna Live Forever (because points are nice) and Bond.
-
I take hiatus from the game for a month on occasion.

@se05239 Ehh, 8 is fine for a test i guess. +1
@Boss I'd be perfectly fine with just 4 (25-100% in everything to everyone) too in all reality but the developers have gone through such an effort to make pretty icons and all..

Remove all BP Offerings that focus on only 1 scoring category.
Offerings absolutely clutter my Bloodwebs and those kinds of Offerings net very little profit.
@Boss Kinda like my old suggestion where I convert all BP offerings to be like Pudding/Cakes/BPS in different strengths.
Here, I'll drop a link to the thread → https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/46827/a-rework-of-bloodpoint-offerings

@Volfawott said:
I feel like the gap was more necessary Killers would often need to spend more bloodpoints as you said because of add-ons.
As survivors could easily just get items just by running chest builds and they keep all their items and addons if they've survived a killer does not even with a 4k
Also a killer has to stay in the match until everybody is left whilst a survivor can have multiple matches. Especially on matches that get drawn out you could have survivors that can complete multiple games whilst you're still stuck on one drawn out 1 as the Killer.
I don't know why I feel like if they go too heavily on these changes is going to just be a massive disincentive to play Killer as you could get the same amount of points as a survivor do it more frequently and put in less work
@Volfawott It'd also mean that it'd be more common to play against survivors running very rare/ultra stuff and I don't know about you, but running against fully outkitted survivors are pretty.. not fun.
-
Fun thing that rank rewards have been suggested since the very first players reached rank 1 back in the day. Nothing has ever come of it. Understandable though, as most players haven't even reach rank 10.
A step in the right direction in terms of killer viability would be to rework the maps which the developers have said that they are going to do! But.. only two maps per year.. so in a decade, perhaps?
And SWFs.. add a lobby indicator to show whom's in a SWF and with who and add rewards for playing against (or with, if you're a solo survivor) SWFs.

I don't want the sabo-meta to come back..

Another victim of Fun™.

Croquedead's (Godly Hag main) July 2019 tier list:

"The Clown is definitely the worst Killer in the game. There's no doubt about it. He's hands down the worst f*cking Killer ever."
@Dathro Not surprised. The Clown's literally DbD's clown killer. Too much bugs, power's underwhelming because of his non-existent map pressure. Even the new Freddy has more going for him.
-
His power sounds more like a passive with a cooldown.
-
Aww yeah, let's promote gen-rushing even more.

@ClogWench said:
I don't think this change is going to increase the amount of items and add-ons you see as much as you're expecting it to.
@ClogWench This is my worry too. I don't want to see green+ items with very rare+ add-ons every darn game.
-
Reworking maps would indirectly buff weaker killers.
I'd love to see weaker killers buffed to be more in par with Hillbilly but we all know that ain't gonna happen.
-
Its all fun and games until the Battle Pass arrives to Deathgarden too.
Behavior wanted one for DbD, Behavior would also like one for Deathgarden.
-
Some of these are so brokenly buffed its not even funny anymore.
-
Having 4 stacks on my BBQ and a fun game.
-
Since the snares are a better version of the Clown's gas, will he get a buff to compensate?
-
It could also be that they've been waiting for a game so long that their lobby will start picking survivors from all over the world, which would makes sense in why you end up in their lobbies.
-
Maybe they are from your region.. just that they're the kind that's playing Dead by Daylight at your local McDonalds restaurant? Not everyone's playing on an amazing internet connection.

Ruin should show skill checks are on gens.
..it already does? The skill-checks are red if there's Ruin.
-
But that'd make the killers unfun? What, do you want another Nurse or something?
-
@Rasinbran said:
Ruin is already run enough so id say survivors have had plenty of time To hit skill checks with ease.
..what?

So Hex: Ruin v0.5?
Why? What would it fix?

Cruising this forum, browsing Reddit, 9GAG, drawing furries.. you know, whatever to pass the time.

Sadly, yeah. It gets me frustrated.
How I attempt to deal with it is by closing the chatbox and making people unable to leave comments on my profile.

trap hindered effects doesn't have time limit?
i heard freddy trap can more slower target based on how long time passed
but permanently? wow i think that part of new freddy really good
@prettyf The slow effect is like 3-4 seconds by the looks of it but if the survivors are forced to run through a row of snares you've placed down around a loop.. yeah, the slow effect ain't going away until they leave the loop.. or get downed.
-
He's being changed to be Fun™. Like Legion. Although, He'll be able to do better than the new Legion, I think.
His snares give him a potent anti-looping tool. Imagine just placing them down as you run around something (since there's no cooldown or whatever) and if the survivor runs around the loop again, they'll be permanently snared and easy targets. Like a better Clown, almost.

@Peanits said:
In the past week alone, Ghost Face has maintained a very high kill rate at rank 1 (above 70%). The changes made during the first hotfix were, as mentioned, very minor and did not have a notable impact on his kill rate. We're still keeping an eye on him, but between looking at the stats and watching experienced players, he's anything but weak right now.
@Peanits Sorry to say this but looking strictly at rank 1 isn't a reliable way of seeing how good he is because of the requirements needed to constantly be rank 1. Makes sense a rank 1 killer will do good. If anything, the ranks 2-8 is where you should see what's happening.

@mistar_z You don’t understand Clown at all. He’s far from garbage. Like Freddy, so few use Clown properly. Clown is tremendously better at area control and slowing the game down than most realise. Which is strange to me because it seems so obvious the number of things you can do with a projectile that leaves a cloud of noxious gas.
@DudeDelicious The new freddy will be better than clown in loops against sleeping survivors, he just place snares as he runs around and if the survivor goes for a second lap around the loop, they'll be permanently snared and an easy target. Snares has no cooldown, slow seems to last longer than intoxication, forces medium vaults (something that ain't working with intoxication from my experience as a clown player).
-
Potential RIP Clown.
-
The snares by themselves are gonna put Clown out of commission.
The true laughing stock of Dead by Daylight happened to be a literal clown.

what do u mean, you can just do that with clowns gas if you want to? only thing is clowns gas is at elast ranged
@Dr_Trauts Clown gets slowed down whenever he throws, has to reload, has a cooldown when using his power. The New freddy can just place them as he runs along, making the second lap a deathtrap for survivors using the loop.
-
Audio's ######### again. Surprise!

@Dr_Trauts said:
its not better than clowns gas, if anything its on par with it. at best.
im sorta sick of this, daylight robbery at this point
@Dr_Trauts Sure is. Just place snares as you run around a loop, when the survivor's running the second time around they're permanently snared and an easy target. No slowdown, or cooldown, placing snares.
Freddy's becoming a better Clown.
-
There's no way for you to get your BP back, sorry.
Although, isn't it a bit too early to scream "UNDERPOWERED!!"? The PTB will arrive in a week, where you can try him out.
His snares in particular is a better version of Clown's gas, in a sense. It even reduces vaulting speed and the Tonic doesn't do that. Snares could shut down strong loops, potentially.
-
Maybe you should stop spending your money on cosmetics then? Play the default outfit like a real man.
-
I'd prefer if it there was far less randomness in the Shrine of Secret, feels like we're getting the same 20 perks on rotation.
-
I like playing Clown, Trapper and Doctor.
I don't mind what killer I am facing as long as they're not tunneling because I simply don't like it. Don't do it myself as a killer if I can avoid it.

@miaasma Bloodlust wouldn't be a thing if the maps weren't so horribly designed.

Many people don't participate in the PTBs because whatever feedback they provide are usually "taken with a large grain of salt" and discarded.

You have fallen victim to the classical trap of virtual currency.
Hopefully you will have the patience to wait for either a skin sale (like they're even gonna happen hahaha) or a new skin that's better AND cheaper.
