I don't think it's based on Kills mostly and I'll tell you why. I've been playing trickster without perks, without addons and without using his daggers and after about 5 games i was put in an MMR so low that i was consistenly 4ks without sweating, still without using daggers. The specific killer power I bet it has A LOT of influence on your MMR, probably a multiplicative in their calculations, I'm getting better results as a 110 killer than with Blight using alchemist's ring.

I wish I was going down, but keep getting destroyed by elite teams over and over again.

I've lost track of how many people have told me I'm crap, a piece of #########, should die of cancer, hope my family die of covid, that I should kill myself.

    This community is terrible.

I believe it is mostly based on kills. I know what they said, blah blah blah, I trust my own testing a bit more than their word.

Yeah I guess if they want to balance around kills and its set for 2k being the average, then a typical game will net you 1-2K and an exceptional game will net you 3-4 which means SBMM is working as intended and this current crap is the new thing.

Yet again we get survive by daylight not dead by daylight.

  • @illusion said:

The new skill based system has nothing to do with the emblem system and the ranks you see at the end of the game. Those are meaningless. We don't know how they are determining "skill", but it is safe to assume that it will take some time before everyone drops into the positions they belong and we start seeing more balanced games. It's not going to happen after a small number of games. There will be a lot of ups and downs for a while.

I know all of this but after three days of playing you'd expect some level of evening out. It aint happening.

I'm curious what parameters determine SBMM. At the moment it appears arbitrary.

  • Has anyone tried predator hunting grounds?

I know its still PVP, but there is only so many times you can replay the AVP pred missions.

I'm a product of the 80's and grew up with Terminator and Predator.

The Terminator Resistance infiltrator mode was great.

It took me about 6-10 hours for my clown games to settle, that's in matches and not queuing. A bit too long imo. I still have many others to get a balanced rating on, makes me a little nervous to try lol.

    seriously, holy crap.

I've been playing pretty solid over the last 3 days (while I'm stuck recovering from illness) and have had nothing but brutal games. A lot of really cocky trolling survivors and have only really gotten kills if I hard camp, tunnel and NOED. So you can imagine a lot of salt but its not malicious I'm just stuck for what else to do at this point.

I'm not sure how many games it'l take to get what feels fair but at the moment its kinda brutal.

    @ThiccBudhha said:

Hey, it is fine, mmr humbled most killers who thought they were good. It isn't really your b, the design of the game is just so egregiously survivor favored. Hard to tell against bad survivors, I know. But this fact is going to just become more and more apparent as time goes on.

As for NOED? I mean, you will probably just keep your mmr higher than you want it using that perk. I would just continue bending over until you go back to facing bad survivors if you prefer those types of games.

Funny thing is I was never very good, its just a lot of survivors were boosted and you got enough potatoes to rank up over time, even in the reds.

This has just felt like a slam though. As for NOED I'm often crutching out on it just to get 1 or 2 kills and even then there seems to be no change after many games with the same killer. I play Trapper and Myers mostly, I've stopped using addons as I can't earn back what I spent and I'm wasting good builds on bad games.

I don't expect a 3-4k every game but the fucken hope of getting that was there even against the good teams. That hope is long gone, now I'm seeing if I can secure one kill, from 1 or 2 hooks.

Normally losses wouldn't bug me but it degenerates so often into obnoxious trolling that the game drags on and just isn't much fun to play.

  • I always knew I wasn't as good as I thought I was, heck I got beaten a lot pre-SBMM but was all in good fun (for the most part, there is lots of trolling and abuse).

Yeah I've racked up 600 hours in game which was previously enough for me to go toe to toe with red ranks and SWF and still come out on top often enough to feel good about it.

But so far the SBMM doesn't seem to reflect that because I'm yet to meet the potatoes who make victory possible without resorting to hard camping, tunneling and NOED to get even a 2K.

It feels like every match is aganist a highly coordinated death squad, which I'm sure isn't the case but that's how it feels.

1 hook every match for the last 5-10 that I didn't hard camp for the 2k is not what I'm used to game wise. Even on the worst evenings.

  • Cheers for the suggestions so far.

I've tried HSHS, it was ok, bit clunky still. also yeah the wait times are terrible. Its still early access so maybe we'll see more from it. I played a buddies version as I don't often pick up early access stuff. We are both looking for DBD alternatives.

I tried, last year the nightmare, but its gameplay is just ugh and the community is more toxic than DBD.

I guess my gripe isn't so much with DBD but more with being forced to play it online.

There is only so many times you can play the tutorial bots to at least get a quick dbd fix without all the tantruming and trolling.

  • @DelsKibara said:

Not everytime but ironically this did happen to me just last game, lmao.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/20H7P75IE2SN/381210-20210912011140-1.png

Though I think hearing three gens pop in a row might've pushed him beyond the limit

This was probably me, I'm sorry but its all I have now. Matchmaking seems to think I'm the greatest DBD player in history because I only get matched against hardcore highly skilled players who run loops around me.

  • After 30 games of getting wrecked by survivors I've found the only way to get kills now with the killers I've played a lot of is to camp, tunnel and run NOED.

If it wasn't for that everygame would be a 1 hook, 4 escape mess, but with camping and NOED I can usually get 2 to 3 kills.

Yeah I'm not great but this game went from fun challenge to impossible task for me. Mindgames don't seem to work and every game starts the same way, I find a survivor one gen pops, I chase and hook survivor 2 more gens usually one after the other.

I sometimes have to abandon that first chase as they are uncatchable and I've lost 3 gens for no hooks, at that point its tunnel and facecamp time and wait for NOED to proc. Usually nonone has touched bones so I often get value out of NOED. If they ever nerf it that will be the end of my game.

I'm a casual gamer and the things that used to work well don't work at all anymore, making any kind killer play just impossible for me. Its such a shame this game was so much fun too.

The moment survivors realise you are struggling against them, they really get in your face about it. Games start to drag out at 1 gen because you are having a hard time downing people and they just refuse to ######### leave.

So I thought screw killer I'll play survivor and what do I get, I don't see the killer all game I complete two to three gens and walk out the door.

If this is balance then it misses the mark by a big way.

Yeah under the old system you got those games from time to time but now its every game, ugh.

  • Not a lot of the examples are punishment for using killer power properly, in fact most are what happens when people bring items that counter said power or don't use it properly.

I'd say the only real punishment for using a killer power properly I experience is not pipping when killing all 4 survivors with infinite tombstone Myers.

Lose chases and a bunch of gens while stalking all game, then auto kill and get no hook points, but you know what that's fine by me because high ranks suck and if I can brutally win in very thematic fashion without getting shot into the reds that's the best of both worlds.

  • Copy and paste from the ULA, I'd say start here, last paragraph has your answer and at the risk of spoiling the ending the answer is NO.

  • Basically you don't own the cosmetic you bought you merely unlocked it as a skin on your account.

The content belongs to BHVR to change as they see fit when they see fit. This is part of the user agreement.

You've paid for the use you've had so far and the continued access to use it.

Its usually a good idea to understand what you are spending money on before doing so as I'm pretty sure BHVR are under no obligation to refund you in this circumstance.

I am not a legal expert nor do I claim to offer advice, but much of what I've just said seems pretty obvious to even a drunkard like me just from the user agreement.

Take anything I say with a grain of salt along with anything anyone else says here because I'm sure 90% of it is BS if its just on the forums, read the agreement for yourself I guess.

Its a learning experience for anyone spending real world money on intangible digital content.

I guess if enough people piss and moan then maybe BHVR will have some kind of PR campaign and offer a token piece of digital crap to the whiners but that's entirely up to them. Its more likely they'll further tweak things if they feel its needed.

I think the new changes are fine.

  • I wouldn't really, I'd keep him as is.

If anything maybe make tier one walk a lil quicker so there isn't that complete lack of pressure while you rank up.

But the whole manner in which Myers plays is very thematic and probably one of the best designed killers there is in terms of capturing the feel of the franchise.

I just hope if they do revisit him they don't add a bunch of cooldowns and tells that end up pushing him into the generic loop play that eventually every killer seems to be horseshoed into.

Varied and interesting killers with a wide range of powers make the game fun. The less generically predictable they are the better.

  • Pretty rare, I don't see it much from the killer side either.

I'd say inexperience and just plain old incompetence is more common than malicious intent to sabotage other people's games.

  • Fun is subjective, competitive and fun can go hand in hand.

Problem is competitive and sore loser often also go hand in hand.

I prefer an immersive game that feels like a horror film being played out over a competitive game of loopy loop, but I'm not going to denigrate anyone who likes the opposite.

What kills the fun of this game is not competitive play, but the "I only have fun if I win" attitude. Those players know who they are and nobody wants to play with them but sadly you often have to because its an online game.

Fingers crossed for custom game bots as we don't always have a group to play kill your friends with.

Some evenings the cry baby sore losers are out in force, resulting in a string of matches against people you really would not play with under any other circumstances than being forced to by online MM.

I’m pretty sure the salt is coming from the fact they actually die a lot. I think it’s high enough idk why you’d want to be injured during a chase.

Yeah I get that, but the number of injured survivors I see jump straight back on gens is really high. Even if you are there and can heal them they often don't want it.

Either people are so cocky about their ability to escape the killer they don't bother or they can escape the killer easily enough that the time spent healing is more of a threat than a down and that's a problem.

I've often thought just being injured should slow you down a lil but with how the mechanics of this game work its probably to oppressive to work like that.

  • I think the expectation that survivors should play injured shows that the cost of being injured isn't high enough.

  • Once again we have a punitive suggestion.

This speaks volumes about people being unable to keep emotion out of the game. I get upset when 'X' happens I want those who do it punished.

Punishments are typically abusable by the opposing side and are rarely effective. If people want other players to play a particular way then they need to be rewarded for doing so.

Thats nice. But these situations are not what plague my games.

I watch killers camp hooks despite having seen 3 survivors with BBQ.

I watch killers camp hooks because they only saw 2 survivors with BBQ.

I watch killers camp hooks because that hook is basement and they're playing Bubba.

I watch killers camp hooks because they want to.

I think the point, even from a games rules perspective, is there is nothing wrong with any of those scenarios.

Unfortunately the mindset of killers on this forum is ‘anything goes’, even against casual solo queue players. Really unhealthy for the game, no sportsmanship at all.

Its kind of the theme of the game though.

I mean how odd does it sound to ask the viscous monster to brutally murder you as politely as possible. I know I hate it when I get a rude knife wielding maniac.

They stabbed me repeatedly then ate my brains and they didn't even do it in a polite sportsman like manner.

It really doesn't bother me to get a killer who goes for the kills because that's thematically appropriate. If people want a hold W loop simulator then there are plenty of racing games out there where you do just that. I'd rather have a scary horror survival scenario where I fought to survive and if I screwed up then I'd probably die and die quickly at that.

I'm a product of the 90's so I can relate to some degree with that as well! It is sad to see things change or degrade in quality, but change is inevitable in all things. With DbD the old characters did need a graphics rework to be brought into the same quality of the newer characters. What people are upset about is that it was less of an upgrade and more of an entire rework into something different.

I've been reading people's posts and I don't think anyone here is saying it's the end of the world. What I said (as the OP) and other people are talking about are their frustrations with having spent money on something to then feel like these changes were so drastic that they are no longer getting what they paid for. And we are talking about who we are switching to to replace the mains that feel ruined to us.

I don't think anyone is 'obsessed' with their characters - this is a forum dedicated to this hobby and past time that people invest hundreds or thousands of hours into as well as money. I doubted anyone in this thread is having this conversation in person with strangers or rambling about this offline. This is just the place to vent these frustrations and to seek solidarity with people who also care about this game. Some attachment is to be expected! 😊

The post you have quoted was less of a comment on the thread as whole and more a reply to the quoted nutcase who had a meltdown at me for suggesting it wasn’t a big deal.

There’s being bummed about a change you don’t like and then there’s having an unhealthy obsession with a fictional character resulting in some serious issues.

  • I’m starting to think there there is a huge community that play this game who just want to win all the time at the cost of gameplay.

NOED is fine to play and play against. Heck with how often you can power through the gens with the killer on only 1-2 hooks NOED is a godsend for adding some tension back into the game.

  • @kisfenkin said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2399303#Comment_2399303

We DO NOT have the EXACT same thing we paid for. If you 'think' that we do you understand absolutely nothing about the entire thread.

I'm afraid it is possible that you lack what normal people do not. Have you never had a favorite toy? Have you never felt attachment to a single thing in your life? Do you think that everyone around you is so devoid of humanity? We aren't. We care about things. Especially things that we put our time and money into.

Just because you probably cannot form that same type of bond doesn't make our emotional attachment to aesthetics mock-worthy any more than your emotional detachment is disturbing and disconcerting.

I’m a product of the 80’s I’ve watched a lot of things change for the worse for a long time.

A realisation that you can’t stop things changing is part of growing up.

I have plenty of fond memories of favourite toys that are now lost forever. I cherish those memories but I don’t mourn the loss because well, it’s a toy.

Kate is still in the game and you can still play it. It’s not the end of the world.

If you feel it is then that’s bordering on an unhealthy level of obsession with a cartoon character.

  • @CoolerBleend said:

There was alot wrong with Kate's old face. Her eyes look like she painted them on.

If you look at the texture of the face was completely flat. The original base model looked like she’d been hit with a frying pan.

  • @Rogue11 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2399324#Comment_2399324

That's charitable. Looks more like evil stepmother to me. But lets say they changed her to gritty badass. That's a trait fitting several survivors (Bill, David, Nea, Yui), but not at all Kate. She was always, in backstory, lore, and appearance, a "hopeful songbird".

Whether we agree on the quality of the model and textures or not, that drastic change in personality makes Kate's rework a failure imo.

Ok that’s a reasonable statement. Not investing much time in the whole back story of characters here so maybe a more light hearted persona was appropriate.

That said even a happy go lucky person would look rather grim if trapped in the fog with the kind of monsters that lurk in it.

  • So the face has more definition and shading resulting in a look that is less cartoony idealistic and more mature realistic.

I'd say she went from comic character to gritty badass.

  • @kisfenkin said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2398622#Comment_2398622

So, what you are saying is that we should never have trusted that BHVR wouldn't rip us off? That's some defense there.

I'm not defending anyone. If people feel ripped off that's ther perogitive.

Nobody got ripped off really though, they still have the exact same thing they bought. There was a graphics update and some things changed, mostly to make them more realistic and now a bunch of nostalgia people a whining about the change.

I'd say 90% of the faces are an improvement and there are very few genuine complaints that aren't just "wha I don't like change". "My creepy waifu looks different"

All this talk of "solidarity" and "petitions for change" is frankly a rediculous overeaction, if people cared this much about real issues that mattered then the world would be a utopia.

If the new graphics somehow ruined your game experience I'd say you are putting to much emphasis on it and perhaps you should take it as a lesson in blindly spending cash on digital content.

Is this why people get so mad when they die in game because they are creepily in love with the digital avatar they chose?

"My didigtal dolly dress up time is ruined because they gave her face some definition and now I don't like it"

I'd mock the whole thing some more but I think enough has been said.

  • Lot of hate for the new map.

Its really not that bad once you get to know it. Its actually kinda small. Heck I was playing clown and didn't have that much trouble getting around once I found the stairs.

Also, because having fun as Survivor often includes humiliating the Killer and vice versa.

This is an excerpt from the post I constantly link to:

Dead by Daylight is a unique game. It stands in the company of other asymmetric games, but it has unique aspects that other games don't that affect our psychology as we play. I wanted to explain these concepts and have some advice for how to counter them.

Concept 1: Humiliation DBD's gameplay is centered on humiliating your adversary. I would argue that every aspect of the gameplay is an act of humiliation, not competition, like you see in other games. The reward-based outcomes combined with asymmetric gameplay makes DBD uniquely painful to emotionally process both your losses AND wins. Let's look at the various aspects of gameplay:

    Killer Humiliates

    1. Frustrates a survivor's ability to contribute to their team (social humiliation)
    2. Frustrates a survivor's ability to level up and earn points (reward-denial humiliation)
    3. Frustrates a survivor's ability to appear competent in front of their survivor peers (mild self-esteem humiliation)

    Survivor Humiliates

    1. Frustrates a killer's ability to appear competitive and threatening in the game environment (social)
    2. Frustrates a killer's ability to level up and earn points (reward-denial humiliation)
    3. Humiliates the killer in post-game chat, something that while survivors aren't immune to, but have group social support resources to easily heal from (severe self-esteem humiliation)

Concept 2: Rollercoaster of Emotional Injury If a killer wins, but doesn't win "right" (camping, some glitch, lag, etc) they are deprived of their celebration by the survivors (survivor decides whether killers can celebrate, another humiliation). If a survivor wins, but everyone doesn't survive, the sacrificed survivor is deprived of joining in the celebration (the killer can take this opportunity to humiliate them). Through all of this, both player sides undergo extreme stress.

    Killer Stress

Killers experience states of stress throughout the game: trying to find survivors, being evaded by survivors, losing track of survivors, and protecting hooks from survivor saves. Killers, at no point, have any moment of emotional peace or sense of "safety" from these states. The emotional injury ALWAYS ramps up in post-game end chat, and at the gate, where killers are ritualistically humiliated by twerking/circling/various taunts.

    Survivor Stress

Survivors experience states of stress, too, with waves of calm: hiding, peacefully working on gens with their peers, being in the terror radius, evading, and being on the hook. Successful evasion and successful hides are followed by positive feelings of calm, while being chased is stressful, and being caught, hooked, and killed is a very substantial, large loss. A hooked survivor has disappointed their team, lost a huge amount of point potential, and been humiliated by the killer. Watch streamer facial expressions change when they realize they cannot be rescued and are dead, after a long match. There is pain in their face.

    That's a great post.

Its also born of the fact that the game by very design taps into some really primal emotional motivations. Mainly hunting and survival. When you fail at these it almost always jabs your ego and that jab is squarely centered in the emotinal stress parts of your brain.

Decoupling the game and the outcome from the emotional and keeping it in the logical higher cortex will help with this but its very hard to do even when the cost/reward is completely artificial and the gains imaginary.

Computer games are very interesting studies in human psychology especially when they have a social element. You are definitely more likely to take it personally when your opponent is human than if you lose to a bot.

You might me surprised, but in sports it could be extremely beneficial to use doping in order to maintain your leading position.

They also try to win, althought for some reason many are surprised.

That's a false equivalency, doping is cheating, tunneling is not.

Don't confuse an arbitrary sense of sportsmanship with a gross breach of the rules.

  • No, survivors are just skin and they really look ok in the higher definition. Everyone will get used to it in a month and then it'l be a non issue just like the new HUD.

Also you have to remember when buying digital skins that you don't own them you just pay to unlock them in game. They are BHVR's property and can be altered at anytime.

  • Of course you can call yourself skilled, nothing is stopping you. You can be very skilled at taking the match to 3 on 1 very early. That is a major advantage for killer.

If given the oportunity to do it you'd be silly not to.

Yeah it may not be fun for the person who gets tunneled out (I've been tunneld out plenty of times and it kinda blows) but epxecting other players to hold true to an arbitrary set of made up rules is more foolish than expecting not to be tunneled if the scenario calls for it.

Its not nice but its not unskilled either, one might say burning a team into a major disadvantage at 5 gens is tip top performance from a killer player.

If the killer player is hard tunneling/camping why the hell aren't at least 3 gens done? That's a major failing on the part of survivors to allow that to happen at 5 gens.

  • I've had that, usually I find the best bet is to slug them for the bleed out then throttle back a lil on the gameplay. You don't have to go easy but you don't really have to sweat it either.

The other survivors can get BP's by healing them, you'll milk more BP's by downing them again.

  • The killer is meant to overpower you one on one.

If the game was balanced one on one then the whole point of 4v1 horror survival is left mute.

  • Niether both are unsportsmanlike behaviour and should not be advocated on the forums.

That said I've stopped participating a few times when its a game with really obnoxious players that I'm just not interested in gaming with.

In those circumstances I wander around and break stuff, pallets, walls etc, just endlessly kick gens and spam my power milking all the blood points I can out of a bum match.

If you do get a good chase and a hook I just hang out at the hook, let them come to me and we'll do some hook exchanges. Its not malicious its just pragmatic. Just know in your head that this ones a write off and you are gonna milk a few points then open the exit gate and call it.

There is never any reason to get angry at the game because in the end its just that, a game. None of it matters, they could decide to pull the plug and turn off the server tomorrow and none of it would matter. Any real achievement is subjective and imagined.

If you are finding the play experience lackluster or its getting on your nerves then its time to stop and do something else.

Today was a run of bad games, not losses, just really obnoxious immersion breaking play followed by mountains of post game chat abuse no matter what the outcome was. This doesn't upset me but I'd rather not play with folks whom are no fun to play with. So I killed the bots in the tutorial for a few matches for a laugh and to get my DBD fix and called it a day.

I hope they implement custom mode bots soon so I can enjoy DBD even when its not a great online experience.

  • Strong antagonists.

The hunt for balance dilutes the horror element of the game.

The threat of being taken out of the game very quickly and brutally creates the tension desired, but that is lost everytime they nerf a killer power, or add another wierd cooldown, or a tell to let you know a power is about to be used.

Problem is there is a vocal group of competitive players who want an e-sports type playing field where 1v1 there is an equal chance of success for either side which is completely rediculous when you consider this is meant to be an asymmetric 4 vs 1 game.

If the horror movie/game monster isn't scary then the the movie/game itself isn't scary. Because why are you running from this monster when you have the same competitive edge as it does.

If the killer was a bot people would play it no matter how hard the monsters were because beating it would be a challenge, but because the monster is another player people get angry about being beaten by it and want an equal competitive playing field which flies in the face of the very theme of the game.

Monsters that come out of nowhere, are unpredictable, can kill you quickly, force you to run hide, make you feel desperate or hopeless are what makes horror scary. When you balance to lessen the effects of these things you make it less scary.

Everytime someone makes the "this killer is boring" argument they are often saying "not easy to read and counter" and in doing so are asking the devs to make the killer more boring by making them more predictable and readable.

You can't cry for balance and then cry it isn't scary because balance will make it less scary.

  • I'm waiting on bots, till then its a couple of games a week.

After a great mid week I made the mistake of playing this weekend. I realise there are probably a lot of kids playing on the weekend but that alone can't account for the sheer low quality of game experience.

The constant obnoxious play that is just kinda irksome and immersion breaking. Also the enldess salt and abuse post game.

None of this really affects me personally as who cares what some random stranger thinks about how a game went, but at the same time it does make you kinda think hmm do I really want to keep playing with these people today.

I mean people can say just beat them down if they are being like that but that's still not it. Who cares if you win or lose a crap game, the experience is lackluster and any real sense of achievemnt is imagined.

The most fun I've had today is playing the tutorial again, because the bots (while easy) are at least immersive and they aint obnoxious.

  • Its kinda hard to say it isn't exactly this, most of the posts are people complaining about the female changes

I am not saying you can't play it, I am saying you don't need these builds to win (which what I think most of these people want running these super heavy meta builds). You can do fine as well without them since Blight is like top 3 killer.

Yeah but its more about how you wrote it. You basically implied that a player who wins with a build focused on slowdown isn't any good.

Re-read what wrote and you'll see that your point is very poorly conveyed if it wasn't your intent to imply that.

  • Why does 3x slow down not make you any good if you win?

it’s such a BS statement to make, if people play it, just play around it.

Not running slowdown perks doesn’t make someone better at the game, it just makes for different style of play.

  • He’s just a basic M1 killer who can shut down a loop.

I guess what made him fun for me is once I got a feel for using the bottles to herd survivors rather than just try and hit them with it, you can end chases fairly quickly.

I’ve yet to find a use for the invigorating bottle outside of chucking at the start to get bit of mobility to the farthest gen.

  • Judging by the forums anytime the killer does anything it’s unfun.

Sitting on gens, running around the same rock till you are left alone and then being allowed to leave at your leisure is where it’s at.

If you have to think, switch up gameplay, be cautious or not do exactly what you want when you want then something is broken and needs to be nerfed.

basically all the killers are fun it’s the players that aren’t any fun.

You understand that my comment was a joke, right? I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, it's hard to tell on these forums to be honest.

I think it was a joke either way both those posts made me chuckle.

yeah i feel ya and ı'm just happy with seeing them rarely haha

still one survivor doing that mistake to myers in early game is punishes us all later in the game didn't mean to say one survivor is enough to go for tier 3 sorry for misunderstanding

It can be like that, Myers with lightborn is a go to for me lately especially with the tome to blind the killer, people can give you almost half a bar while you just stare at them standing there with their flashlight in your face.

I like to shake the screen a lil like I'm trying to avoid the stun while not breaking line of sight for the stalk.

not most of the tiles has much to avoid line of sight and some are increadily strong at it game not designed for it so when someone is founded at a bad spot or just didn't notice myers was stalking him everyone else pays the price or as myers you might never come to tier 3 bc they broke line of sight very well and can be forced to pick up with lockers even with a single gesture you may avoid the fatality part. You don't get bp that much also when even ı win in both side ı don't find it fun to play so it is for me a waste of time (tbh ı only played myers with that add on once or twice since ı don't like it)

Fair enough I was just curious. Also it takes failure to avoid myers by more than half the team as you have to suck at least 3 survivors dry to get the tier up with that combo. So its not really one person punishes everyone else.

But fair point we each have the things we like and dislike about that game. I just wish I'd face this more as survivor because I find it fun but you don't get many Myers games.

Pinnacle of fun, bypassing 3 hook stages just cuz addon

The hook stages aren't bypassed they are replaced by tiering up.

Its up to the survivors to deny that progression by outplaying the killer just as they would deny hooks by doing the exact same thing.

Yes its easier to tier up but that's why it costs 14'000 blood points to have those 2 addons.
