What i wish for this game as killer is that if i lost it was because i got outplayed . Stalling me is not outplaying me FYI. And no defending gens does not work in a real game too.
That was posted in response to someone that likes to generalize more than anyone else and insult anyone that dare uses logic and or facts. The poster also posts total bs all the time and tries to pass it off as fact. Then turns around and does the former repeatedly.

Kindred doesnt do anything against camping. The radius where the killer is shown is really small, just camp outside of it.
The reason why the change is sor idicuousl is that survivors can always 100% see each other and coordinate unhooking. Thats literally insane, no more time wasted for several guys trying to unhook etc
Personally I think it should only show the hooked person type of thing but give it a good enough radius but make the radius hidden so neither side can game it.
Although I understand they're trying to buff solo but perhaps a fading in and out type of aura would be better. It'd work similar to say BBQ it shows the auras for x seconds but then fades out. Then after x seconds it reappears for x seconds so it'll work almost like Doctors screams aura notification.

More stupidity for someone who doesn’t play Clown obviously. Clown bottle toss isn’t Huntress hatchet toss. He lob’s the bottle, he doesn’t throw it. It’s a slow and large arc. The Claudette was running away already, as soon as they saw me climb out the window. If I threw a bottle it would have uselessly landed behind her. Secondly, again, you don’t throw bottles AT Survivors to slow them down unless they are in the wide open and you are close to them. You throw them ahead of them to cut off routes.
“Bad play”, sure, it’s “bad play” to have no chase last more than 30 seconds. Let me guess, you’re some god tier Killer that every chase you do last less than 15 seconds and you never get Bloodlust level 1?
Map design was the game where I was Survivor, not the clown.
You mean more excuses for bad play and toss/throw/lob it all equals the same thing basically and once again you're trying the troll semantics bs. You could've easily put the bottle in front of her you know like most clowns do. It's almost as if you don't know how to anticipate where to throw the bottles instead of like where you did. Also HE DOES THROW THEM or did you not notice the over hand throw. If he were lobbing them he'd still be considered to be throwing them.
Lobbing - To hit, throw, or propel in a high arc
So you just admitted you throw the bottle ahead of them to cut off the escape route yet you threw 1 way behind her. You screwed up during that game nothing else but you. was at fault there. I also never said 30 seconds but nice try with the logical fallacy response proving yet again you'e got nothing.
Also notice how I never refenced the other video I only referenced the video where you did badly as killer. But yet again you try to throw something irrelevant in to make your argument look better. Again it didn't work, you were a bad clown there and trying to insult me doesn't change the fact that you were the issue there nothing else.

First off he is not a killer main he plays both killer and survivor in rotation. He is 50/50. He does not main one side. He even said this many of times. I'm a survivor main. I use NOED on all my killers if I have it, because i'm bad as a killer. I'm 95% survivor and about 5% killer. I only play killer for daily's or for the events to farm.At least you're honest as a killer unlike some on here who blame everything but themselves when they do badly. Now that isn't to say that there's issues they are but quite a few on here use that as an excuses.
-
Aht he salty tears of the killers mains bashing him because gasp he dares to speak the truth as a rank 1 killer. Yet if he said nerf survivor x you'd say he speaks the truth and his word would be golden. Typical hypocrites, his words are worthless when you agree with him but if you don't they're meaningless.

Ok 1st 2 matches down
1st game Leatherface on Myers map and it was great, everyone got to do stuff, killer got 9 hooks since I let myself get sac'd for the 9th hook. It was overall really fun and some hilarity ensued when chainsaw hit more than the intended victim.2nd game- Typical Billy tryharding and never once despite him using offering did he go for a BBQ hook. In fact he went out of his way to avoid them and camped the 2 event gens. While he scored 47k BP that was due to my Bloody Party Streamers and 4 sacs. We didn't know he was tryharding until he showed his gameplay.
3rd Game was a Huntress on Lery's who was really cool and one person quit during loading screen. So she let us do our thing and she got 2 out of the 3 hook stacks but sadly the 3rrd person wouldn't let themselves get hooked.
4th game yep another try hard killer who've I've played against before. He got 1 or 2 bbq hooks and the rest he regular hooked and camped. I laugh at all the killers that say survivors are hard headed when stuff like this happens. I mean if you farm you'll get way more bp and survivors will willingly most of time let themselves get sac'd for at least 2 out of 4.
5th game in the books after killers repeatedly dodging with no items present and again tryhard killer this time a hacking nurse with aimbot. After she kept getting juked she'd channel blink then turn mid blink and change directions to hit you. Sot eh blink would go 1 way but she'd change it mid blink into a turning blink. So 2 ppl dc'd on her because she was a toxic jerk and she got screwed over and well deserved so.
So killers this is what's going on so far and you wonder why survivors are toxic during these events.
-
Time for a bloody party streamer then and as far 1st person goes probably WGLF farmer.

He was not a “Baby Killer” he chased two different people. Issue was they had two Jungle Gyms’s and the Barn all in one little spot. The terrible map design screwed him. There shouldn’t be such overpowering places that allow for a Survivor to 1v1 a Killer for more than 30 seconds. Not to mention we still had the Killer Shack and more Jungle Gyms. He got screwed by map RNG and lightning fast Gens. Hell, the David went AFK for 30 seconds and it still took us barely over 4 minutes.
So more excuses to justify bad gameplay on the killers part go figure. He comes out of 2nd story window and see's a Claudette going for gen. He doesn't throw a single vial of tonic near her to slow her down nor does he thrown any until she's across the street. When he finally does throw a bottle it's well behind her and he continues the bad play after that.
The terrible map design didn't screw him his own bad play did since I've played against Clowns on that map plenty before. They don't ever make such bad plays.like that and if they see a survivor like he did. They'll hit them with tonic right away.

Camping is a gamble. Camping a looper to make sure he stays dead might lose you the game, or win it.
Also, survivors tend to call everything camping. If the killer get´s looped near the hook, he´s a camper. Not the killers fault.
I don´t camp. But i get called a camper countless times.
On the other hand, if the killer doesn´t camp, and people escape because of that, they smack talk afterwards how easy it was.So, just play the way you want and ignore the comments afterwards. Killers job is to kill by any means necesary. Or have you seen a horror movie, where a victim confronts the killer, telling him to go for someone else?
If it's a really skilled looper it's understandable since they can waste your time. But is it worth it to got after them instead of someone not so good?
If you get looped near the hook it's not camping, that just bad play by person being chased. But at times I've seen killer chase the person by taking a different angle to force them into being chased near the hook.
I don't either and have been called one as well but it's extremely rare.
That's not always true and you totally know it and I've had killer camp way more often and say ez after camping just me or one other person like camping takes actual skill. You'll no doubt come back with lopping takes no skill when actually it does since you can make mistake. You can get caught on the looping spot, not make your turn tight enough etc.
The killer doesn't have to do anything while standing at the hook, there's no mistakes possible to just stand If they simply go out of terror radius range, even worse with Tinker II exploit. (This is big issue at rank 1-2 right now) They just wait wand watch for a survivor to come closer and wham easy killings.
The killers jobs is to get sacrifices not to sit there at the hook doing nothing, damage gens, hit people, down people, hook people. Here let em reiterate this in the simplest terms that id you get this message you didn't do your job.
**ENTITY DISPLEASED**
Wrong and you know it since looping is done because that's pretty much the only way the survivor ahs of escaping. If the game actually had a stealthy option of los breakers where you could go hide it'd be different. You've even commented in the threads where @Peanits commented on that's something they want to change.

True but there also supposed to sacrifice not camp and set up a tent on the hooked victim. I mean the entity is displeased message pops up telling you that you sucked as killer. You're most definitely supposed to please the entity and it isn't going to happen by camping.
But at the same time some survivors are just plain stupid and hopefully once they rewrite the code and get dedicated servers they can really fix things better.
-
IT used to actually spawn on the map but not be open now it doesn't always do that even when conditions are met for it to spawn. There also seems to be an issue that the killer or some at least always know where it spawns. This despite the fact that it spawns on the far side of the map from them and they wouldn't know it's there.

Oh and console killers have it harder and that Clown could've done way better since at rank 1-2 Clowns there would've already hit someone at start.

Survivors are still fresh off the nerf train from Pallet Vaccum and such. They haven’t adapted yet. Meanwhile, the Killers of old have had to hone their skills to the point of insanity when that bullshit was still in the game and they had to deal with it.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8Kbtr4xM67o
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=j9dM4oNPA18Yet this ######### still exist in the game. Literally all the Survivors have to do is NOT screw around. When they focus rush their object, it’s more or less a GUARANTEED loss for the Killer.
The game is still wildly unbalanced in favor of the Survivors if they simply DO NOT screw around. Survivors can still make the choice. They can choose to just flat out win, or they can choose to dick around and have a possibility of losing.
Ok survivors have to not screw around hu well that's funny because rank 1-2 ahs been 3-4 k almost every game. I've gotten hatch I beleive 1 or 2x and 1x time through exit gates. In every other game I've been sac'd off along with 3 others 95% of the time. There's been 4 games recently where 2 ppl got out.
I've had Billy's Nurses, a Leatherface who rage quit earlier after he lost me as Meg and the Claudette who was dead on hook. This despite the fact he'd sac'd 2 already and I was going to be stage 2 on hook. I've had Warith's do really well along with Trappers and Hags as well as Freddy's.
Oh and we did focus rush teh gens as best we could despite Ruin, etc and yet we still got wrecked. So no the survivors don't have a choice of dicking around and losing or flat out winning. Perhaps there's a skill difference by region/platform but pc rank 1-2 has been killer lopsided.
-
150 ping is where I'm ready but really anything over 175 ish and it's not fair to me or the killer or anyone else. As @Beaburd said I see high pings all the time as killer and I give them time before I dodge.
-
Rank 3-5 is probably the most brutal because you've got people who don't belong there and or are trying to derank. They don't care if they sandbag you while doing it either since they just want BP. You've got those that are only there because they farmed with WGLF followed the killer around during chases. Did tiny bits of gen progression, sabo'd some hooks partially.
Then went for the basement jogathon and chest searches all while not really doing anything but because of sandbag unhooks pipped.
-
For the record I think survivors should be locked in at 20 seconds and the killer at 7 unless of course someone leaves then the timer should reset a bit to compensate the newest person joining. If it takes you more than 13 seconds after survivors lock in you're bad. When I'm getting ready whether solo or swf of any size I'm almost always got my loadout ready beforehand.
I personally dislike the last second switches to flashlights/toolboxes/prestige since it's just an ego/jackass move. But that's just me since I prefer to play openly against the killer and try and outwit them.
If you dodge you're a coward basically, who cares if it's 4 flashlights, I've had people pick Wraith when they saw 3 in a lobby. They ran Lightborn and laughed at the other 3 people always trying to flashlight them. I've seen posts by killers commenting on playing as a Billy with Lightborn and not Franklins. They also manage to 4k games consistently.
But when they get to dedicated servers and start punishing killers for dodging lobbies then what will you use as an excuse? Oh the old you'll strike and lobbies will dry up nonsense again, simple fact now in some regions there's killers that can't get lobbies. Why because the killer to survivor ratio is hugely imbalanced so they swap sides.
The same is true for other regions where the imbalance is on the others side, they simply swap to killer side. The same is true for now, when one side isn't getting lobbies i swap to the other side. At ranks 1-2 I find myself facing the same killers repeatedly during certain times of the day. While at other times there's great variation. The one common thing is everyone says they swap back and forth if lobbies are slow.
Bottom line killers are dodging because they don't want to have to work for it when the survivors haven't done any switching of any kind and are locked in. At rank 1-2 I've been in solo queue where everyone locks in sometimes without anyone having a single item equipped and the killer dodges instantly.
They dodge because they don't like the survivor selection even if there's no Claudette's. They see a name of a good survivor, dodge, see 2 Tapps, dodge, see 2 megs dodge. It's all excuses because they want to be able to pick the games they know their favorite champ has the best chance of winning.
The better one is when they get a group with no items and the killer they want but don't like the offerings so dc during loading screen. They chose doctor and didn't get Gideon with their offering because someone else's offering conflicted well dc during loading. They load into a map they don't like say Swamp the Pale Rose dodge.
Lets be hones there the last second switching is used as an excuse to justify dodging in general when it's occurence is probably exaggerated. Once the devs change the lock in timer the dodging will still occur at a disproportionately high rate.

The generator one, I'm indifferent on. It would be neat as a way to apply overcharge (or Pop Goes the Weasel, even), but I feel like the rest might be a little confusing for most people. The pallet one, I'm really not sure about. I'm going to go way back to the Grim Pantry example back when procedural pallet spawns were adjusted (varies per map, smaller maps will have less pallets, this does not consider safe/unsafe pallets, just the total). 18 pallets, 5 seconds per pallet. Total of 90 seconds breaking pallets, let's add another minute on there to account for moving around the map. 2:30 to destroy every pallet on the map. While this is a lot of time for survivors to freely work on generators, you'd also be able to disrupt them as you're doing your rounds. For the rest of the game, your chases would be dramatically shorter. Grim Pantry only has three maze tiles, and only one building has windows to buy some time in a chase.
I'm not sure about that. Aside from the fact that getting caught is basically a guranteed 30-40 second down, I don't think that would be best for gameplay. Having the killer waddle around for the first few minutes doing absolutely nothing but break stuff while you do your own thing would make the start of each game very boring.
The other thing I'm not sure about is being able to 'prime' pallets, by breaking them to 99%. Basically the same as above, except you can also lure survivors into a dead zone where they think "Oh thank god, a pallet!" only to have it instantly smash behind them. It'd be one thing if a perk allowed you to do it with restrictions, but being able to just make fake pallets all over as a base ability would be incredibly frustrating to play against.
The thing to keep in mind is that breaking a pallet in five seconds does not translate to five seconds saved in a chase. Pallets create a 'safe zone' for the survivor, that is to say something they can fall back on when windows and mindgames can't buy them anymore time. Or if the survivor isn't good at the game, a couple loops before they throw it down. Shack pallet is the perfect example for that. You can vault the window three times to kill a bunch of time, then throw the pallet down once it's blocked to give yourself enough distance to get to another pallet. In reality, that five seconds you spend up front saves you way more time than five seconds in a chase.
The gen thing I thought would be something interesting for teh killer to try and the gen would of course have the damaged sparks shooting out of it. You could make this only an option once you get to rank 15 and higher. That way with the 15 safety net people could learn the mechanic without depipping.
The pallets I thought about it but perhaps it could instead be damaged since the killers are going to complain until all the pallets are removed from the map anyways. It also doesn't have to be 5 seconds that was a number it could be 10 seconds so the killer has to decide do they waste 10 seconds or w/e destroying it or not.
The survivors would also get a visual notification of the pallet being broken similar to the doctors screams but 1-5 seconds delay so that the killers exact location isn't automatically known. That is unless the survivors are running the perk for that.
I agree priming teh pallets is probably not a good idea but being able to destroy them outright but have to spend time doing it gives them more options. If the survivors aren't paying attention to the pallet being destroyed then that's their own fault.

There's not even an argument here, the outcome is the same, so why bother arguing terminology? I really don't understand where you're trying to go with this.

Devour Hope: I agree with the reduced tokens as both a survivor/killer main. However I don't like the alternative idea, sorry!I, too, believe the alternate idea is worse than the first one.
Reduced tokens is a bad idea since at lower ranks you're going to destroy everyone. Far better way is to keep tokens after x time has elapsed if the totem is destroyed with the exception of insta kill. But keeping tokens after totem is destroyed could work say depending on token count/time.
@Nickenzie said:
Huntress Lullaby: I like your idea, however I think Huntress Lullaby should just be a regular perk IMO.True, but this is assuming every perk stays as a Hex perk.
They might still change some perks to non hex to give some more gameplay choices. for some you could change the hex to a normal perk for the killer it belongs to. Devour and NOED being the exceptions. But for say Lullaby if Huntress uses it it's a perk. If other killers use it it's a Hex perk. You'd buff huntress some in that case without it being too op.
@Nickenzie said:
NOED: Hmm, I have mixed feelings on this... Maybe this should be tested on the PTB.Naturally. All these changes should be tested on the PTB.
Noed will have to be really careful with since even at high ranks there's totems that're hard to find and or you get a high mobility killer like Billy/Nurse on certain maps. At low ranks it'll be a massacre.
@Nickenzie said:
Ruin: I like your idea, it's basically better at tiers I, II, and III. However I wanna hear your opinion on maybe a better solution to the Ruin perk that I came up with...Ruin:
A Hex that affects the survivors' skills at repairing generators. All survivors are affected by Ruin which causes a 30/40/50% decrease in repair speed. Additionally while Ruin is active, all great success zones will be replaced by good success zones.
The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.I posted something similar but with a twist in another thread. The 2 might be good in combination and I added that even after the totem is destroyed an effect. It works that if Ruin is active and is then cleansed if the survivor was affected by Ruin they still get the effect. At least until their next skill check after that it's normal.
Usually games are 5 minutes long, Ruin will now increase this to around 7:30 minutes. This will be a nerf maybe but when the developers rework generators, then they will likely rework Ruin next.
As it is now, Ruin synergizes well with perks that increase the number of skill checks. Your idea, while good, would remove that synergy.
Go check my thread for a gen idea since it gives the killer options besides having to run Ruin but in conjunction with it is good.
@Nickenzie said:
Third Seal: I was thinking that the blindness status effect should be buffed in general. Maybe blindness removes the survivors' ability to hear the killer's terror radius?Or Blindness actually makes the screen harder to see.
**Blindness won't affect you're hearing of the killers heartbeat but perhaps you don't see them as clearly in the distance.
Making the screen harder to see would cause issues for those with vision problems or motion sickness issues etc. One person commented in another thread that they don't play killer because Bloodlust activating gives them motion sickness.**

No.Survivors are not going to need massive nerfs.
Killers are going to need massive buffs.
The whole point of buffing solo queuers, bringing them to SWF level, is to then balance around SWF level.

As if Survivors ever listen to reason. We warn them time and time again that some of the things they request will inevitably lead to a bad outcome, but they disregard what we say. When they inevitably do lead to a bad outcome, they cry. When it's fixed, they forget all about it.Stop generalizing such a small portion of survivors. Just get the [BAD WORD] along.
Won't happen, the same few will keep generalizing and when the killers get buffed to proper level stil whine. It's almost as if most killers and survivors don't post on any social media platform. It's almost as if the vast majority on both sides don't complain and will adapt just fine.
As I've said before once they finally get this in the right place the same few will keep whining because that's all they can do and it'll be apparent it wasn't imbalance all along that was their issue.
-
The 2nd option for killers is the pre break pallet option.
This would work by allowing killers to also pre kick pallets, but this would be a base speed, takes 5 seconds and nothing can lower that speed. Why 5 seconds well you're saving yourself roughly those 5 seconds due to chases etc by destroying.
You have the option with both pre kick things of chaning up how you do things and giving you new game play styles. Don't like those safe pallets well take em out early and leave the unsafe pallets for strategic play. Now to make it a real mind game you could do a partial pre kick style where you do the kick but only partially.
This would work by having a progress bar that you could stop at say 95% so it's not completely broken. You'd use your action key to stop the progress bar where you wanted. so you leave it up but almost completely broken and a survivor you're chasing comes to it and drops it in front of you.
Oh and it's a teabagger you're favorite kind but boy are they in for a surprise. You do the normal break pallet routine like always but it only takes .5 seconds since you already had it almost completely broken. The teabagger is still crouched and whammo gets the surprise of their life when you're already there. So it'll be a great mind game is this a safe pallet or not, can I stop for a 1 second SC or do I run for my life?
Now of course the complaints will be you're taking away gen pressure but that's not true with either of these ideas. You've being given different options of play that can enhance several different styles of play. The 3 gen strat with gen kick and pallets destroyed would be sneaky.
Billy running around with no pallets to stop him is simply evil and can you imagine a Doctor with no pallets in his way..

While i think those might be to many game modes, it might be possible to add them under the same hardcore game mode with different BP&shard multiplier.
But i don´t agree on the sound. You don´t get visual hints, but you can hear survivors screaming. This would also benefit survivors, because no one would know if someone was hook or where they are hooked. They could just hear the distant scream and get an approximate direction with a headset. The barebone horror mode would feel like a complete different game.
Yeah I just threw that out there for feedback since they could even do it as a rotating game mode thing each week. So you could try a different mode each week or queue up for regular mode too. Some of that could be combined some down to 4 modes total 1 for each week and if they proved popular keep them going., The sound was probably a little overboard since that's a bit much like you say.
If you give a general idea similar to the doctors screams you know somethings up but not what. The same is true for skill check failures you get a general idea where it was but until you see it. There's lots of different things you could do to make it more sinister like darker but way more wide open. But the survivors would have small spaces they could hide around.
But no windows or pallets and no footsteps except within a certain range but no tracks. Also no endless looping spots. Some places similar to Macmillan Estates where's there single walls etc.
-
I'd love an all no perk, no auras anything mode and also no one should see anyone else's items or name sin lobby. As @Peanits said silhouettes only so no lobby dodging and no excuses but you own bad play. The extra bp would be nice and probably throw in a bonus ot iridescent for that as well.
For a all hands on deck type of que give the killers an extra bp/iridescent bonus but don't let them know how many might be swf. To really make it interesting you could add the following game modes to it.
Anything goes - This one is for the those wearing the pants in the family so to speak. This mode would feature any items and addons/offerings you want to bring. But still no perks and still follow above idea.
Barely there - This mode you could only bring 1 item or offering not both and no addons.
Can I get a hand - This mode you could bring 1 item and 1 offering only, still no perks.
Damn i'm good - This mode features 1 item, 1 addon, and 1 offering but still no perks.
Everything but the kitchen sink - This is where the true ones live and die. In this mode there's nothing but your wits to win or lose. In addition to no perks, you get to bring nothing but your skills and prayers. So no items, addons, offering or anything. There's no screams allowed not even when you get hit, no terror radius, no sounds no nothing for anyone. No footsteps, no crows, no gen auras unless they get completed.
To make it even more Diabolical exit gates when powered aren't shown to anyone and won't show up on the map until they're powered. So be careful running around looking for the exit gates sinc you might run into someone else.
Frack mode - In this mode you get to choose your killer or survivor but nothing else, as the games loading you'll get a random assortment of perks, items and addons or nothing at all. You could get a key but with a flashlight addon.
Now last but not least there's the
HURT ME PLENTY mode - This mode will really test your skills out because just like the kitchen sink mode it's difficult. But wait how is that so, well glad you asked.
In this mode your killer, survivor and map are all chosen at random and you won't know till game loads. It'll be a outline only until it loads in. But once it does it's off to the races so to speak.

I think the idea is fine provided they tweak it so that it doesn't completely remove exhaustion and Dead hard can't be triggered upon unhook. That is DH can't be triggered if you're already under the effect of an exhaustion debuff while hooked.
Besides since when are killers going to stop whining about something that fixes an issue anyways? Hey camping the hook is bad and so is hook farming. Lets bash the devs for trying to think of ways to stop both instead of trying to find a better solution.
Oh and if we're going to talk about crutches we've already been down this road before about crutches. Both sides have them and both sides use them. But only one side whines ore than the higher pop side and at a higher ratio even with the issues on that side.
I'm gonna laugh so hard when they do finally balance things and the whiners on both sides have to either put up or shut up finally. They won't have any more excuses for anything that goes on in game.
As @Runiver just said this was something the devs thought of not survivors yet here we are with the same circle jerk blaming survivors with all the usual insults. Besides which this is no different than Borrowed time they get unhooked wait and smack them. It's almost as if this never happens in game already but omg a similar mechanic is being discussed.
It's the end of the world how will killers counter it? Oh I know the same way they do currently when someone gets unhooked and runs off with BT. They either tunnel them and wait out the buff or smack them and then wait out the buff.

These are Rank 15+ issues, Rank 1 survivors don’t accuse you of hacking, lag maybe but unless you’re blaintenly obvious hacking then yea...The rare times I accuse someone of hacking it's because it's pretty obvious they are hacking. The true killers you know outplayed you . They outplayed you by map knowledge and by out mind gaming you. The ones with no BBQ that run to an area you'd never be even remotely at. They magically find you behind 6 walls/rocks with no objectives within 50 meters. I like the Nurses that chain 3 blinks together and hit you behind said objects.
I've been accused of hacking by both sides at times but more by killers when I've outplayed them by hiding and evading. I'm a stealth player by nature so it comes second nature to try and sneak around them and not run around blindly in the open. I don't like running down the middle of the map in full view of the killer looking for looping spots.
Now that said I've actually seen survivors literally disappear in front of me as a killer in a chase and in a wide open area. No objects of any kind in the area either, just wide open and short grass. As far as survivors complaining of course there'll be more since there's more of them.
You also have to take into account the inherent problems that consoles have with the fps etc that makes it harder to play. Once the framerate and other issues get fixed you'll see a lot less complaints and accusations of hacking.

I like the gas can idea since in some games you've got find gas cans to do the gens, hello L4D 1 and 2. It's obvious and pretty straightforward that that's what you need. The issue you'd run into is on small maps the gens would have to require less gas to do them Like Haddonfield etc.
So for a large map it'd take say 3-5 cans of gas to start it whereas the small maps 1-2 cans of gas.The large a mpa the more gas cans there are and the killer should be able to see them on the ground. If the killer sees one missing in a spot they recently patrolled they know someone around.
To prevent camping being incentivized the gas can would be dropped on either 1st or 2nd hit and perhaps make a visual notification it got dropped to other survivors. That last part might be too op so better to be like Franklin's where you don't know where it got dropped. Although for swf they already generally know so perhaps kindred for solo queue side only.
So think of it this way, the more people you've got working on the gen the faster it goes right, but here's where you balance that. One thing that might help with the gen rushing @Peanits is the following idea that should be easier to do.
The more people that're working on a gen the more skill checks will come up and be faster as well. Since the more hands inside of a narrow space the more chances with the moving parts for screw ups. You'd also balance skill check success zones to be smaller the more people are on there.
How you would have to balance that out by ranks since for lower ranked and newer players that'd be atrocious to deal with. For the higher ranks it'd be easier to deal with for them since they'd be more used to it. You could also make it so that great skill checks done by more players on the gen don't progress the gen as fast but award bonus bp post trial.
So for the last part they still get the points for the great skill check for the emblem but also bonus blood points. That way the gens don't get rushed even with 4 players all hitting great skill checks but don't make gens feel like an obnoxious chore.
One last thing is if someone fails a skillcheck on a gen and others are working on it they should have a skill
check popup as well and be slightly difficult. Since the thing just blew up in your face you're likely to be startled while your hands are in that tight space with moving parts. -

Not sure where I insulted you.
I just said I didn't say there isn't biased killer mains. If you consider that as an insult, you may consider getting less sensitive. That'd be other posts I was referring to.
I didn't consider the biased killer mains as an insult so no I don't need to get less sensitive. It takes a lot to actually get me going and no one on here has even come close.
That's why the internet is so bad at times since facial expressions even with emotes don't always convey what you mean. The same is true for vocal inflections since that doesn't convey well either as languages can sometimes have multiple meanings. This is true for the same word can mean multiple things just by how it's spoken.
A good example of this was the tv series Shogun where 1 rod was spoken twice but with different inflections making it mean 2 different things.
"Hai means Yes but more importantly starting a sentence with Hai means (I will be speaking you.)"
"Also, Wakarimashita (I understood.) doesn't mean (I already knew that.) but Hai, wakarimashita. is just a little more polite way of saying (I see.)"

This is great advice... until it's not.If you know the Hag is clear across the map, or better yet carrying someone, you should be running around and hitting all the traps because she wouldn't be able to teleport. That's one of the most effective tactics to beat her, because without traps she is trash tier.
Not enough people realize this and insist on crouch walking everywhere all the time. Sure if she's able to teleport it's smart, but when she can't you should be running around to waste her traps.
I do this all the time, especially when I'm not the make your choice person and laugh when she drops the hooked persona dn tries to instadown me and fails. The other nice things is she then if she doesn't tp to me is she has to reset all those traps.
One thing that's annoying on pc is the persons sees the trap and still runs right over it when you crouched to save them. If you really want to be unhooked safely then hold your couch key when you get unhooked and sneak off. You won't trigger the trap if you both do this.
The only issue i've got with Hag traps since long before her rework is the trigger radius is stupidly huge. It's 5 character models I believe and unlike Trappe she can set it right in front of the hook. In fact the Trappers traps have to be stepped on and to disarm it it's 1 character model away.
If the Trappers traps worked like the Hags you'd be within 5 character models and trigger it without actually ever stepping on it. But right now it's 1 character model or so for the traps and Hag's should be the same. Now since the Hag Phantasms have collision as well they should change her traps to be same as Trappers.

Honest question, not trying to stir the pot here. When was the last time y'all hit BL3? I can't remember the last time it got all the way to BL3 personally. I always have to break a safe pallet before it can get that high. Even BL2 is pretty rare, and that's only getting slightly decreased, while BL1 (the one that happens pretty often) remains unchanged.Am I in the minority here? I really don't think this is going to have an effect on my killer gameplay at all. Even in a larger loop like the cow tree, I'd be lucky to see BL2 before I either have to break the pallet or hit them.
It's very rare for me as a killer to hit 3 unless it's in a wide open area and they've juked me or I've broken a pallet and they've tea bagged me etc. As a survivor rarely does a killer ever get to BL3 when chasing me and it only happens on newer killers. That or when someone is on a killer they don't play and are on a daily, then i can get them to 3.
-
One thing I think that might need to be clarified here is map fixing since everyone has a different idea of what that means.
It could mean small changes over time since some are probably easy to do like pallets removal, vacuum, some looping spots etc.
Major changes which won't happen very quickly and can be quite problematic if not done right. These are what both sides would like but if they get rushed it'll be even worse.
Total and complete reworks, now these are extremely time consuming and will take months to do to make sure they get it right.
Now the issues that effect the above are many and a simple look at their job website listings shows they're trying to tackle the problems. They're on a hiring spree right now similar to other games developers that went through same problems.
One good example is Riot games if anyone was around when they started and followed their progress they went through the same issues and hiring sprees. Now look at where they are, hugely successful and problems aren't as bad.
They still have them but unlike a certain few behemoths cough EA/Activision/Blizzard they don't make such major and repeated blunders. So give them some time to fix things since in a sense they're still getting their feet wet so to speak.
It usually takes a games company around 2 years to really find it's footing and have a well balanced and polished product. Now I know there'll be the responses it's been out for 2 years but I remind you of this. BHVR bought the rights to the game back and now wholly owns it.
They've got a roadmap out with 2 more champs and maps this year, more bug fixes and balance changes coming as well. They'll have hopefully learned from the ahem issues with the Clown release and won't have such major issues again.
Now for the biggest problem the major changes are faced with getting done as quick as is wanted. The code is by the devs own admission spaghetti and thus limits what they can do. They've stated they want to completely rewrite it aka new code..That takes a lot of time but a complete rewrite of game code will allow them to finally deliver on what everyone wants.Well most everyone since some will want an imbalance that always favor them.
It's a choice of do they go with the incremental fixes that won't completely break things or go with massive changes that probably will. If they go with the former it allows them to work on the code rewrite quicker so that it's polished and balanced.
If they go with the latter it'd be clown all over again only worse and anyone that's been around remembers Blizzards infamous Undead Invasion 1.11 patch. I'd prefer they go with the longer term option and not do patch rollbacks/days long downtime.
The other bonus to doing it right is when they finally do go to dedicated servers it'll run much better as well as more securely.

Biased survivor mains and Oblivious people.
** It is just one more proofs** that devs are rather oblivious to how their own game even function at high ranks. You keep on proving my point.
I mean there's obviously not biased killer mains at all right? There's also not biased and oblivious killer mains either right? Now see how hypocritical that statement looks, it'd be like me saying the same about killers only.
While completely ignoring all the ones on survivor side.Oh and since you said English isn't your 1st language your last sentence might confuse some people to it's meaning.
** It is just one more proofs**
It's just more proof would be better.
function
functions would be the proper word.
Saying there's biased survivor mains doesn't imply there's no biased killer mains.
Not sure what I did prove there. Thanks for the correction on my english. It's not my first language, yes.
For the 1st I was trying to be somewhat sarcastic yet also prove a point about your posts. You always or almost always seem to have to insult others on here. When it comes to game balance it;s always a 1 sided thing with your insults.
I guess what I'm trying to point out is always insulting the other side without acknowledging your own sides faults is a problem. It also does nothing to help bridge the divide or lead to constructive dialogue. oth sides have their extremists and constantly bashing one side isn't helpful.
For the second part your welcome since I've had time where I've asked @Master and @Tsulan as well as others for clarification. Since occasionally ideas they've come up with aren't clear just as they've asked me for some on mine. That's not to say we don't trash talk each other occasionally since we do.

Not true, hard core campers are high ranks, how do you think they got there? Why look when they come to you
This is completely true even at rank 1-2 there's hardcore campers that don't need to camp. I've had nurses hook camp or go just out of terror radius then blink back in. I've had Hun tresses that just run iridescent and go out of lullaby range. I've seen Billy's charge off and get a clear los run lane to hook. They do nothing and wait for the unhook to come flying back in.
I've had games with Hags lay a bunch of traps around someone then walk off out of terror radius and wait. I've seen Trappers do the same and then come flying in same for Doctors in punishment mode. The change won't affect the good killers at all but the bad killers are going to have to get better.
This will also stop the WGLF hook farming and the griefing of the hooked person. As a killer as long as they don't try and unhook right in front of me I always go for the rescuer. The wounded person I can almost always catch later anyways.

I even spotted an error after reading it. Can you?See my above response since you just again proved my point. You're @Lowbei 's opposite twin but at least he can actually debate without insulting everytime. Well sometimes but he at least can post positively occasionally as well as offer good ideas.

They had their fun first by running us in circles and doing what it is that survs do to waste time. That was my point. They had their fun but we are not allowed to have ours. My fun is watching them die on the hook. Even if it is the first one. I dont care. I hope they do get their I-frames. All survs will be forced to play killer or enjoy a lobby sim that will be more than an hour at any rank.
**So in the past they ran you in circles wah cry me a river, grow up seriously. It's like you hold onto what happened in the past like it's a grudge which just proves that despite all the changes you've refused to get better. In fact this just proves you're bad since you refuse to do nothing but camp for that 1st kill. You deserve every tea bag etc you get then.
Now we see your inflated ego, and of course if there's less killers more survivors will play killer. But you forgot that in some regions there's an imbalance not caused by whiny 2 year olds like yourself. In some regions there's a huge imbalance of killers and little survivors. so in those regions killers swap to survivor to get a lobby. It's almost as if players adapt to changes just fine.**
Listen pal. Its not just the last two sentences that do not make any sense. Try reading your first sentence or whatever you want to call that. Like i said. I am no grammar police. But since you do speak english, as well as it being your first language, i suggest you look up what a run on sentence is. Not using run on sentences will make your readers less likely to ignore you if you avoid that particular sentence structure.
Oh good grief you just again proved my point that all you can do is whine and insult, my sentence structure and grammar could be fine. But you'd still try and insult me or nitpick at something because that's all you can do.
I should know. I learned how not to do it. And, yes, english is not my first language. But feel free to correct me. I dont get pissy about it like you do.
Ah but you do get pissy when people correct you, and it's not about sentence structure. See unlike you i don't bash people on here for their language skills. If they make a grammar mistake I ask them if that's what they meant. I try and help them as do some others on here. We don't feel the need to inflate our egos by insulting others grammar mistakes.
But again when you decide to stop acting childish and insulting everyone every time you post when you can't debate. When you decide to actually grow up and have a responsible debate and actually give good constructive ideas. Then the rest of us will be here to have a constructive debate with you. It speaks volumes that our resident jailbird still can have good constructive conversations. Yet you seem to not be able to do it at all.

I am not the only one who does not care about ranking up, anymore.
Good for you
So, they have enough skill to down somebody and hook them so they cant all be braindead as you seem to suggest. Just because you say its a stupid tactic does not make it so. It is only playing badly in your eyes and to me that means diddly squat.
My comment was sarcastic and apparently you missed the bright flashing neon sign where it even said the last 2 sentences were sarcastic.
I can leave the hook and get kills. And? I choose not to. Survs take the fun away from my game by making me do silly ######### like running in circles. How fun. Yay! More of that please!.
So how is you not leaving the hook any different than them running you in circles? Aren't you taking away their fun by camping? That's pretty hypocritical right there to say you get to define what's fun for both sides.
I am no grammar police but.......english is not your first language
No you're not grammar police and English is my 1st language. Oh and since you completely missed it there was one badly written word there which was where I said why no try which if I'd added 1 letter would've said.
why not try to not as part of the sentence.
The fact you chose that to try and insult me with just proves my point about you.

Why even @RemoveSWF actually posted some good ideas once or twice. Yes that's shocking i know but if he can do it so can the idio% I responded to.
I mean if someone with a Leatherface Avatar known for whiny troll posts can post something constructive that says a lot about that idio% poster.

they removed 1-2 pallets on some maps and vastly increased them on other maps like sheltered woods. they also spread pallets out just far enough for survivors to always be able to reach them and also cover the entire map so there are zero pallet dead zones. that "nerf" was actually a huge buff.
they took away some specific double pallets and made NEW SPAWNS for the removed pallet but kept other double pallets because they are tied to a building and thus not randomly generated.
they took out a window from some of the jungle gyms but left the pallet and the long wall or pallet and the L window. still loopable, still no mind game.
all the infinites are still there, they just baby fixed them with the window blocker, you still get 3 loops from them that can lead into pallet looping, wasting countless amounts of the killers time and then right back in for another 3 loops. the barn can spawn with 2 windows and is still an infinite if it does. they did not fix or remove them
are you really going to include exploitable rocks or bushes that they could dead hard onto to be untouchable in your argument?
i think you need to change your profile pic to a claudette
what other fixes?
Yet another whiny killer that looks for excuses and anything to nitpick about. Hey they removed some stuff lets whine about how they didn't make it impossible for survivors to escape. Why is it that most killers can do just fine when there's changes and they take advantage of them. Wheraa killers like you do nothing but complain.
No al the infinites aren't still there or have the last 2 years completely passed you by? All I see is a whiny killer that is probably not very good and instead of adapting or getting better just complains. There also isn't any double pallets where one is right next to the other. Macmillan Estates is a prime example of how they fixed it.
So they took some pallets out and spread some out in others places, well guess what buttercup you have options in how you chase. I hate to say it but @Lowbei is right. GIT GUD
Oh and btw I play Trapper as my main and I'm not on ehre whining about how unfair it is, I take swf and high ranked players as a challenge. I learn what works for them and what doesn't and that makes me a better players on both sides. The same is true as a survivor, if it works then I know how to counter it as killer.
Have you offered any constructive ideas with pro's and cons on how to fix things or as is more likely done nothing but whine about things? I've at least proposed ideas and solutions to both sides issues with pro's and cons for each idea.

Also when you're hooked, you're not doing anything. It makes perfect sense exhaustion cooldown would go down when you're hooked.
It doesn't make one bit of sense that a hook being rammed through your chest would allow you to calm down. I'm fine with the the exhaustion counting down however but for it to magically disappear when hooked , now thats BS.
Maybe if the hook was going up the ass...
Did someone order a hook enema?

While that may be true. They are first beginning with BL and not with the map balance. Killers are just getting nerfed again and it pisses me off. ''Hey! The survivor players gave us over 440 bad reviews in one day and over 650 in two days. Let's reward with buffs and killer nerfs, am I right?''
You can't possibly say that ######### is fair at all! They have to buff Brutal Strength then so we can still keep up with the survivors!
BS is fine where it is and anymore buffs would make it way too strong. There is a difference between balancing and just outstraight oping stuff. Numbers need to be treated carefully in DBD, because the multipliers are really weird, so buffing BS in numbers might just break the perk.
Balancing is nerfing and buffing on both sides. You cannot get anything right immediately. I've never seen that done in any game that XY patch was right away the perfect patch. I never said things are fair, because a lot of things are unfair in the game for both sides, but when I look at these changes I'm usually very cold towards them. They make sense to me on a rational basis.
They needed to lower BL so people can start to learn mindgames, because a lot of players are nowadays new players who never played the game with no BL, so they can get used to a different type of game and develop new strategies, because the end goal is to remove it once maps are balanced. I do believe lowering the numbers are needed before that can happen at all, even after map balance, because a ice cold removal of the feature would throw a lot of players out of the loop.
Like others points out, that change was mentioned several times in the past few weeks.
are you seriously going to spout mind games?
Almost every pallet and jungle gym has a way to remove all mind games... every wall has gaps or windows in it so you can see the killer.
Just because you turn around and walk backwards and catch some people unaware doesn't mean this will work against people who play the game more then 1 hour a week.
Just because you whine about it doesn't make it true, I play the game a lot each week and rank 1-2 killers get me all the time by mind games. They sometimes leave a pallet and other times they don't. They'll go left when going right would've been a shortcut.

You also can't seem to please no skill killers that'll whine about anything that doesn't make them get 4k every game. Yet here you are still posting as living proof of that.
