Yes! The version of her that had a perfect amount of counterplay for both sides.
There was counter play just nobody wanted to take the time to learn it. When does she enter phase pay attention to her hair and her idle animation to reset, how do you counter you have to mindgame her at loops or and this one is stupid but, it works run around in different directions and she has a harder time tracking you.
-
I like to use it for the memes.
-
I still get her and want her back to her old self
-
Kill them all problem solved.
-
To be fair that's just a swf going out of there way to troll you at that point you should just let them survive on there own if they're trolling and hope that the killer hasn't join them either which in most occasions at least from my experience doesn't happen a lot.

Actually, it comes down to BHVR porting the game to a platform that can't handle it and not giving us cross-progression when they said it was coming.
Switch players should continue to report all bugs. They probably won't get fixed, but that doesn't mean we should be quiet about how big of a mistake it feels this port was.
Edit: Any saltiness in this post isn't directed at you. What's happened with DbD on Switch is just very frustrating.
I get it's frustrating I played a few matches on switch when it first released and it did not run well. It was very clunky and it would be nice if cross progression did release for the switch but, who knows when that'll happen.

I don't know, could be true what you say but it's not fair. I hope there will be a fix for this because it's very irritating to experience
I don't think bhvr can fix this. This all comes down to Nintendo and it won't do much cause the switch just can't stay up to date with these games. Fall Guys for example can barely run on the switch everything is like 30fps.
-
This could just be the switch itself has a hard time running games like DBD.

Which one? there was two actresses who played her
the first one.
-
I don't know if they would add her in. I have a friend actually who one of there teachers was actually the actress of the deep throat cenobite and she said to them she wanted nothing to do with cenobite as she kept getting weird harassments from hellraiser fans so I don't know if she would approve of BHVR having herself in the game from what she was involved with in the past.
-
They've said in the past that the nightmare on elm street franchise is one of the more difficult license to work with for DBD. Now granted that was a couple years ago and something may have changed since then and they're working on something at the moment for the franchise but, I don't know.
-
You're asking too much it's not gonna happen it'd be nice but, it won't happen.

An arbitrary list developed by a "human" streamer, probably. The mob mentality thinking Myers is bad does not mean it is accurate. There might be some excellent Myers mains that know how to play him well winning an extreme majority of their matches (which in itself shouldn't be a thing). Whenever I saw killrates by killer, Myers was near the top, almost as high as Pig.
It is only reasonable to think that if only survivors have faced nothing but nerfs after nerfs, and killers have had nothing but buffs after buffs, alongside extremely oppressive perks and synergies for Myers, he can only be overpowered now.
You really take Survivor to serious Sluzzy. You need to play need to play Myers more often he's not the worst in the game but, he's definitely in the top 5 for worst killers in DBD. There's moments where you get a tier 3 and you don't down everyone you may not see it in your games but, it happens a lot more then you think and also you're looking at the killrates you know those aren't full accurate half the time. Nurse has one of the lowest kill rates right now yet she's the best killer in the game that's not really accurate.
You don't really give much stuff a chance cause instant if something gets changed for survivor it's an instant dead perk for you. You think Dead Hard is dead and completely useless but, it's not there's so many good plays that are made with this perk. Plus you now have 10 second endurance when unhooking now is that a nerf for Survivors still?
Myers can instadown you yes is it guaranteed half the time no. Could he make a comeback with 1 tier 3 activated if he's loosing yes absolutely he can but, that comes down to yourself and the team if everyone is hovering around him while he's got tier 3 and he gets all of you that's the survivors fault not his. Most killers in your eyes are being op cause you don't know how to properly loop these killers. There's plenty videos out there to help you out.
-
Still better if it didn't exist in this game so everybody could just play and not care what happens.
-
@Sluzzy said:
When Myers was released, survivors were immensely stronger. All four survivors had recharging sprint burst, there was double the amount of pallets, all four survivors could use Decisive Strike when they wanted to, and so much more. Myers has remained the same despite all those nerfs.
Yes, those addons are beyond broken now, and Myers has become overpowered along with the other killers.
You're being sarcastic I know you are nobody says Myers is op everybody throws him in F tier at best.
-
You're tunneling me at that point I'd be like ok you guys are doing gens then they'd be like but, you're tunneling me that's not fun and then I'd be like I'm not your babysitter trying to catch you is my job and if I need to get someone out of the game to bring it back into my favor then I'm gonna tunnel you XD.
-
That's just how she is there's many other killers that can defend gens really well some better then Artist. She's really not that sure she can fire crows at the gens but, it's not that big of a hindrance since it doesn't hurt you the first time so you could stay on it for a bit and then if you feel she's gonna fire another crow then get of the gen and shoo shoo the crows off.
-
Honestly the winter event was actually really good I didn't really have a problem with it. It had it's moments but, it was still a lot of fun to play around with.

But you see, Pig players usually have a sense of humor, something you rarely find on Nurses, Blights and Spirits. They're sweaty tryhard on their way to remove you from the game ASAP. And they can easily do so. Bad combo
I mean I don't really look for a sense of humor in a player. If they have one then they do if they wanna go tryhard then go tryhard I enjoy some challenges as Survivor.
-
Just wait out the timer and go after the body blocker and then they'll get upset at you and then you can say what do you expect you're running in front of me trying to take a hit of course I'll go after you.
But in all seriousness just hit them at that point when they have endurance and then chase them again.
-
I enjoy playing Amanda. She's a pretty unique killer being able to put traps on survivors head and give them the choice to try and take it or do a gen when it's not active and when it is active they're not on any gens so you have a built in gen defense kinda. Her stealth is not the greatest but, it can still be pretty effective at points. Just make sure you don't try and boop me I won't except it you've "made your choice" at that point.
-
@lagosta said:
Make the killer visible in the lobby unless it's a Stealth killer.
now survivors will dodge lobbies instead of matches, and anyone who stays is willing to go against the killer.
That's not a good idea. Mainly because if there's a killer that people hate playing against but, other players enjoy playing them that's just gonna be even worse matchmaking.

That's just not going to happen. Not until Nurse gets some kind of nerf. It is unfair for a Nurse to farm BP and MMR on us with her cheese range add-ons coupled with Thana and Starstruck, while we lose MMR and BPs.
Who's wanting to farm MMR? Hardly anyone cares about that. Also it's just Nurse that "farms" bp? I'm sure most killers in some way can "farm" bp. Yes Nurse is strong just like she's mainly been since 2017 and then if she gets nerfed everybody is more then likely gonna switch to Blight.
-
I've been saying the same thing just stop rage quitting against Nurse.

Lol, I had a survivor complain a few years back that I was “camping the gens”. Even the other survivors thought that guy was an idiot.
Had one Survivor say that to me as well when they had 1 gen left and I was defending the 3 cause it's a 3 gen and they said nice camping and I was like so what do you want me to do just let you go? That's not how this is gonna work here buddy.

Survivor 8
Killer 8

@Droneinthrwind said:
Listen BHVR I love you(not really) but here is a thing - if SWF group or single individual wants to torture someone, they will do just that no matter what. No matter the perks or anything else. Reassurance was perfect as is - if killer wants to camp, let them do just that, stare at survivors eyes for the whole match while everyone else leaves. Now it's gonna be another OP SWF perk and almost useless solo Q perk.
We don't even know how it'll be the change may not be that big of a deal considering we've not used this version yet. Wait for it to release and then decide cause this isn't BHVR listening to face campers. It's more hey this guy could be sat on the hook all game and never die and the Survivors could just do all the gens while they hang there.
-
You keep repeating yourself Sluzzy still saying everything is nerfed and Survivor is to hard and can never win yet this is only your games this isn't the millions of other players that are playing Survivor I play solo all the time I win some and I loose some it's not impossible just play the game and enjoy it as best as you can rather than complain about every little change that gets implemented for Survivors and Killers all the time.
-
Someone boops me they get punished not aloud to boop me.
-
Depending on the situation is when I decide to stay and help. If it looks like we won't get it I don't even bother but, if there's a chance I'd go for it.

Unironically, what if we made his Scratched Mirror and Vanity Mirror brown or yellow add-ons so that its basically a build decision if you play with them or with the standard Mikey? A lot of Mikey players really enjoy the jump scare aspect of this too add ons, but I also understand why a sorta base-kit aura reading killer could be seen as problematic.
Also while I understand that you shouldn't be able to farm infinite stalking juice from an AFK survivor, if would be SO rad if the stalk juice of a killed survivor got transfered to the others in play and/or everyone slowly recharged their juice; especially the obession, which would make just so much sense: save the best literally for last.
These are pretty good ideas I'd except these in the game.

@Laluzi said:
Personally I think that design-wise, Myers is one of the scariest killers in the game. He's built for jumpscares and that walk and breathing are menacing as hell - not to mention, while I don't think the tombstones are the greatest balance decision ever made, they plus his mirror addons create a level of uncertainty that's beyond any other killer. Survivors are never sure what they're facing when they see Myers and that threat creates its own fear. If they tried to ramp up the intensity... I dunno, sometimes less is more. Better stealth in t2 or the ability to actually use t1 when he wants it instead of it being a mandatory hindrance would shore him up, but he needs pressure more than he needs the fear aspect, imo.
I guess tombstone at endgame is a thought, but that feels like a simultaneous band-aid to his low power level and a death sentence for whoever's being chased by Myers when the last gen pops. In practice, it's less dynamic than it sounds and would make his endgame very boring - he just murders whoever he was chasing last while everyone else goes for the gates, and if he hooks the person instead, hoping to bait more kills, nobody will want to save because it's the NOED effect but ten times worse. I mentioned tombstone earlier, but the threat of tombstone is way more interesting than actual tombstone gameplay, from both ends. Guarantee it and everyone turns super predictable. I think there's better things you can do than giving Myers built-in Rancor.
You are speaking facts I can agree with this though with the endgame tombstone I would say have it only work when endgame collaspe starts cause then at least if you're being chased you have a plan on how to get away from him before he ends up catching you.

Honestly they just need to get rid of the tomestones and then the rest of the addons are mostly fine.
I don't see Myers tombstone addons as an issue since they take forever to get and you're not always guaranteed a kill with them unless they catch you in the open and from my experience recently I've not seen a tombstone Myers in like a couple months.

He should have an ability similar to Wesker's lab photo that allows him to chomp down pallets and breakable walls when on TIII without losing distance.
I think that should be a thing as well make him more brutality in the game.

Myers needs base-kit buffs, huge buffs. But for cost, they can nerf his add-ons to make him balanced.
And yes, Myers should be more scary.
Nerf a couple but, not a bunch as a lot of them don't do too much to help him.

Nintendo won't give Switch endgame chat knowing them but, the other consoles I don't know if you really want it cause it can actually get ugly sometimes.

Three reasons listed in terms of personal importance.
1) It's fanbase.
No offense to you but FNAF already had a very negative connotation in my mind prior to the Pinhead teaser debacle on the Forums. The fanbase has an awful reputation and seeing the actual insanity and spam they produced was really just the nail in the coffin for my opinion. The fanbase is children and extremely cringy.
2) It's creator. Not going to talk about this one much, since it pertains to politics.
3) The actual content.
FNAF is...not a complicated game. Almost everyone is familiar with the first one and that's the one I'll be referencing. It's simple jumpscares. It might've been cool in 2014 but it doesn't really translate well to DBD. There are better games that would translate better that should come first.
To sum it up, there are better games with better fanbases with better creators that should come to DBD way before FNAF is even considered.
The fan base is really bad I can agree with that I was streaming my revisit to FNAF and had a kid that put something really bad in my chat about Gregory and Roxanne Wolf won't go into details.
The creator's thing was his choice not much we can do about that and that's all I'll say.
I don't think they would focus on the first game like maybe some references sure but, I think they'll more focus on 3, 4, and maybe Security Breach for Afton.
Sure there's better franchises that should be in before FNAF Friday The 13th, is a good example.

That'd be really bad cause you'd almost get no games as any killer that Survivors hate when they're blocked. If anything ques would be worst for both sides.
-
Sluzzy do you not like the new content you get for this game? If you're not enjoying Survivor you can just take a break from the game and comeback later on to see if the game has changed.

If this game was pay 2 win wouldn't people be 4king or getting 4 escapes the majority of the matches?

It's sad that artist is better than oni. I think oni should start with his power which would make him viable at higher mmr. I would like spirit to be 115% it's not good to be 110% while you wait to get your power back. Blight is 115% too so I don't see problem.
Because Oni can instadown where Blight can not.

Slightly off topic but... does anyone know if the below is a bug or intended?
I can never hear her directional phase until (it seems) a second(ish) after she's already phasing - meaning at short loops it's basically a big guess because by the time I hear where she's coming from, there's no time to react anymore.
I swear when her directional phase was first introduced I could instantly hear it as soon as she started phasing.
It is there just the terror radius music kinda makes it hard to hear a little.
-
I've had my inner FNAF return recently been replaying through Security Breach again and it's just a fun game to play. Gregory is great, The Animatronics have great personality and character development Roxanne and Freddy being the best imo. Vanessa/Vanny is ok not terrible but, I think could've been used more as well as WilliamAfton/Springtrap. Also the voice acting was amazing.
-
@konchok said:
The directional phase has a very short range. Probably around 12 m. This means that almost like other stealth killers, she can sneak up on survivors. In addition to this she is very strong with exposed perks. Now I personally think she's over-rated, but she's definitely top 5 imho.
I put her in top 10 for me I don't think she's a top 5 imo.

There is a notable difference. Otherwise people wouldn't be running Hope.
Who's running hope I've not seen anyone use hope recently and either way that only works in endgame not the rest of it.
