The methods are not always going to work 100% of the time, the killer will eventually catch on. My problem with spirit is that there’s no feedback while she’s phasing.
Every killer will eventually catch up and let's see spine chill works like if you want a solid build that works even better vs spirit spine chill iron will deadhead and a perk of your choice pebble even works because they can't see you all they have is a noise notification and scratch Mark's

But It dose allready dosent it

I shouldn’t be forced to equip a perk for a killer that I won’t always face.
I mean if were going by that logic then buff deathslinger I shouldn't have to run corrupt to make sure 2 gens dont pop in 80s that may not happen every game

There are 3 types of bubba's babby bubs the ones that bump into everything
Bit** bubba's the ones you are referring to thta like to face camp
And then there's the good bubba's the ones that give you hair cuts with chain saw

Okay so this isn’t an angry rant or anything since I’m fully aware that some players love to run it any day of the week since it can absolutely benefit them but holy crap I swear I’ve never had so many Franklin’s games in such a short span of time. Event items are already so hard to come by in the web so on the off chance I get one out of a chest it really feels like a screw you... if a random decides to bring an event item then I 100% leave even my basic brown medkit or yellow flashlight back at the campfire because sure enough the killer happens to have slapped on Franklin’s for a big old F you for that one survivor and their fancy toolbox lol. A lot of gens seem to be popping particularly fast because of the invitations but damn I would love to see if there is an increase/correlation statistically with Franklin’s being used during events.
I just with Franklin's removed items from the match and put them back into your inventory if its an event item or protected by white ward

I can understand it being hard to be gracious in defeat. I'd be lying if I said that whenever I have a game where I got close but struggled for one kill or didn't get any kills or what have you that I didn't get salty and talk crap about the enemy team. Although I play mostly on Xbox so I don't have a chance to message everyone in game chat like PC players do so it's mostly rambling to myself.
Same xbox gang rise up granted I play without cross play due to pc huntress and nurse
-
Its also hard to be gracious in defeat because people judge you by the killer your are playing now I wont lie I do the same but only to freddy players because his snares allow you to loop wrong but stil get a hit but anyway this is the best example I can remember I'm playing ghost face I get red forest it's a 4 man swf I can tell by the fact that they all trash talked even though it was a very close game and I got 1 kill and there was a ooo as well with 3 adrenaline and the holy ds saves the day
-
Well if I use spirit I get shamed for playing a blind killer.
play death slinger get shamed for finding tiny cracks in walls to shoot them
Playing nurse is just a mess now
I hate freddy so much that even I dont want to play him
And legions power is dog water so is majority of other killers powers.
So I'm stuck with blight huntress ghost face bubba ph and wraith. That narrows down why some of us only play certain killers

People might over-exaggerate it a bit on the forums but it's definitely happening. I've noticed that my queue times as killer are longer & I can bet it's because of survivors leaving due to the hitboxes.

I feel like it sounds good on paper, but as soon as you put it in you realize how OP it would be.
You cant counter that. Muscle memory on survivor would kill you. If you add lag delay on both sides and great update that add even more latency to the game.
I dont know because at 1 gen you dont gain anything really and you only get the 60% range increase if all 5 gens ate complete so on average you are going to have around a 30.5 % range increase half of what cope de grace dose now but it will be more consistent and wont have a useless effect like fire up

It would be nice if they could tell the difference between a genuine DC and a salty rage quit but as far as I know, they can't. Normally I'm against DCing unless someone is clearly cheating. If you aren't having fun you are free to DC but you will get hit by a penalty. If you keep doing it, it gets worse. That's all on you. There will be games where you aren't having fun. It doesn't mean you can leave without consequence. Id rather a few people deal with a 5 min ban from an actual DC then people leaving left and right because the killer is spirit, bubba, nurse, they missed their DS, they got hit, <insert every other thing survivors complain about>
I too want them to do something about first hook suicides but I don't know how they can tell they gave up.
Also please learn to use periods. Your entire thread looks like one long sentence.
Ok will do.

Sometimes I think dcing is the appropriate action. When a player is being toxic or mean-spirited then dc is the wise choice. When a killer slugs all 4 survivors and refuses to hook them and holds the game hostage it makes sense.
I don't think it should be used simply if you are not having "fun." In those cases just ignore the survivors, set down your joystick and come back in 5 minutes. The game will be over and you will not receive the DC penalty.
I mean is the game really worth playing if you aren't having fun with bs maps like swamp haddonfield rotten fields and the new game
Edit ya know I think Mathew was on to something when he said maybe play another game

Like I mentioned, I haven't gotten to play on the map more than once or twice since the update. How many pallets did the Game used to have? I remember that nearly all of the pallets on the old Game seemed to be completely safe pallets unless you were a killer who didn't really care about pallets
It normally had 3 god pallets but 2 were next to the basement
But now you can have 5 or more possibly and a lot of the unsafe pallets are safe now

Maybe there is more, but I counted at least 25. Also it's hard to make sure to not count breakable walls when you're using Zanshin Tactics
Yea. Ut if you count almost 27 and you have barely moved something wrong
-
@CheyeneKL said:
25 pallets and, what, 6-7 vaults total on the map? The Game will always be a boring "break safe pallet" map because that's how it was designed. It's not the most invigorating game play, but it's also one of the only maps in the game that is designed that way, off the top of my head.
This map was always killer sided and devs obviously saw a reason to make it a little more survivor sided, after changing a lot of other maps to be more balanced from being more survivor sided. I'm not saying they didn't possibly go overboard but like... how many matches have even been played on the new version of the map since the update?
I think people should give it more time before they immediately start calling it out as the new most survivor sided map (you didn't call it that, but other people have). I'm sure it will eventually get tweaked slightly but I myself haven't even played on it more than once since the update LOL
I do think there should be more pallets but almost 30 and atleast 4 are god pallets and 12 are safe now idk that seems pretty bad if you ask me
-
@ClownIsUnderrated said:
I honestly would like to know who approved of giving the Game map 25 pallets, and at least half of the pallets on this map are god pallets. I took some screenshots of certain things I want to point out.
Image #1
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/L10P78EHCDUK/picsart-02-13-08-12-49.jpg
This was the shortest loop I've seen on this map ever since the update, obviously you can get anyone at this loop.
Image #2
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/WGVK83C04E2Z/picsart-02-13-08-13-23.jpg
Everyone's familiar with this pallet, once it's down there's nothing you can do except break the pallet. But you want to know what makes this even worse?
Image #3
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/IDPTFMIGPN8B/picsart-02-13-08-14-20.jpg
A god pallet can spawn right where I'm standing, which can make this loop even stronger. I didn't get the RNG of this happening, not yet at least.. But seriously two god pallets on the exact same loop!? How is this even remotely fair!?
Image #4
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/DX6QY0N8QRUP/picsart-02-13-08-15-01.jpg
Everyone's familiar with this loop, pretty much was unmindgameable back on the older variation of the Game map. But with the new one this loop is shorter, and you have a good chance to actually get someone here now which is nice.
Image #5
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/RLD9CG3XSWPJ/picsart-02-13-08-15-35.jpg
These new god pallets that they added to the new Game map are the biggest ######### decisions did someone make when they came up with this? What's even worse is that you can potentially get maybe two or three of these depending on RNG. How are you suppose to get someone at this pallet if you're playing someone like Myers or Pig? Answer you don't, after you break it you'll just end up at another pallet.
Image #6
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/8S56BFPHKNCY/picsart-02-13-08-16-07.jpg
Lastly the picture of what you saw from image 5, lead to the ever so familiar god pallets of the up and downstairs at this loop. Once again I must ask, how is then even fair?
You can see why people are calling this map pallet town now right? This sorta reminds me of old Blood Lodge, but it's even worse than that. Devs seriously I must ask what sort of thought process was going through the head when giving this map a lot of god pallets into one another? This doesn't make for fair and balanced gameplay, what people have seen basically shows you another reason why this game can't ever be pushed towards a competitive scene.
More than 25 maybe 30 or more

Not fixed but better than it was

Unfortunately the community as a whole mostly uses the PTB as a testing ground for the new killer/reworked killer rather than actually testing for bugs and such. If a map has an issue thats specific to nurse for example...it wont be caught on the PTB since the few people playing killers thats NOT the new killer just has survivors DC or suicide.
Yea well the update wasn't very interesting and the hud was bad so no one played it for long

Over all less bugs and another game mode

I'll just stick to bubba oni and nurse all can be faster 2 can one shot and the other can ingore everything

@SonicOffline said:
I want this to be a discussion more than a feature request, because I'm curious to pick some brains.
Personally, I think it would be only fun for immersion if the killer you're playing teleports for his main source of locomotion. Motion sickness would get too real, unless you're actually emulating some form of sitting or something we're comfortable with normally like driving.
However, I bet the main source of VR use for myself (if it's supported and I can't hack one together without risking getting banned) will be playing purely for more depth of field, like how the 3DS worked. So in my mind, I see it like how Majora's Mask 3D worked, where Link sticks out of the screen at an angle like a hologram, sort of.
With consistent frames

You're not including the time loss of not hitting the survivor right away with just the purple gas when throwing the yellow gas instead. You lose out on about 2.5 seconds of slowdown, which places that 6 seconds much closer to the 8.33 seconds. The problem is the time it takes to set things up, bottles used and reloads tends to minimalize the gains of the rework. Sure it's new and slightly stronger than not using them if you use them correctly but it's not exactly monstrously improved, which is why the 1.3m over 5 seconds difference I mentioned matters. 1.3m is about 1/3 of a second of distance for survivor or in other words that's the hit window you've managed to shrink. 1/3 of a second.
I have found the feather addon quite effective at cutting that lost time for throwing bottels

@Triforcer said:
This is pretty obvious, but I've always thought the devs have a way, way longer nerf roadmap than they let on in the developer updates. The gut punches to survivors and killers are intentionally spaced and alternated to not drive away one segment of the population for too long.
Killers just got a meganerf this patch, and survivors are next in line with DS/OoO. That means the nerf guns (for the next mid-chapter patch) are squarely focused on the killers. Two of the following three things will happen:
(1) Freddy meganerf
(2) Spirit meganerf
(3) NOED being made useless (probably they will add a requirement that 3 of the 5 totems still be up for it to activate)
They won't do all three, and the third will be saved for the next killer nerf patch. But after those three dragons are slayed, there won't be a lot of obvious candidates to nerf on the killer side...
At this point noed should stand for no one escapes dev's

Yeah so what? They changed the bones of the game they loved for the past 4-5 years, and you think they are wrong to be whining on a childish level? That will never be as childish as the devs intended deafness in releasing this distasterpiece. Honestly I’m being childish too, I don’t care how people behave, I just want the game I bought 5 times back.

Lmao just no. 360s are a showcase of skill and if the hitboxes were like they were prior to 2018 you'd see even more baby killers complain about it. The thing is, it isn't a mechanic. It's something the community found to juke and it requires precision to execute so no, removing it is neither okay nor necessary.
As a console player360 are not hard I can spin 2 thumb sticks in the opposite directions wow look at that "skill" it definitely wasn't either the killer missing or getting aim assist cucked

This.
@onemind at least you’re starting to formulate ideas on how both bottles can be used together. The tricky part is putting it into practice and figuring out ion the spot which bottle should be thrown where (because of the fast paced nature of this game), and always remembering to throw an antidote down first because of the activation period.
Hmm I'm wondering if party gloves with the yellow feathers would make a good combination of addons because you wouldn't need to charge the yellow bottel and the feather would let you swap to the slow almost instantly granted you are using no addons that affect the bottel its self being able to throw 2 different bottles in almost 1 s may be the difference between the surivor pre dropping the pallet and a hit I shall test this theory in a bit unless you have already in that case is it any effective
Edit the feather addons seems ok. But the party gloves don't do much
-
Yea yesterday he proved me wrong in his bottels are almost useless because my number were wrong but now i'm trying to think of situations where you can use both effectively and commonly
-

@Sonzaishinai said:
As a general rule of thumb. Using it to get around the map faster is almost pointless.
The real power comes when you are under the effects of the yellow gas while survivors are slowed down.
You catch them almost 3 times faster in that scenario.
Too many people say how purple gas is better but don't seem to realise how fast you catch up if you use them both.
Yea I thought of that but I'm trying to find/think of common occasions where you can use both at the same time and get a hit
