You mean motion blur in lobby? I glad they removed it. This effect is disgusting to me.
But if someone likes it, it should probably be optional in settings.

I will admit
lf a certain survivor strikes my fancy fashion wise l will let them go.
I let go Feng Min in red dress and green hood becasue that outfit impressed me.

Looks like he just roleplaying.
For example my nickname says that I am friendly to Dwights. I hook Dwights twice and let them go.
-
Team with killer is reportable.
-
I live in Kazakhstan and I don't get other servers than yellow. It's always 115 ping.
But my connection is good and stable, so my games as comfortable as I can get.
-
This and also it should require some charges of key.

Correct. I forgot about base.

Well it takes roughly 8 million (probably more) to get a character from Lv1 to Max Perks if you have them all unlocked. So unless your playing a lot of games during the event then good luck 👍
Ghostface already p3-50. I want to unlock all perks on him. It's probably 4 millions.

This is a link to the Anniversary Broadcast to 1:42:12 where they start to talk about the event.
The event cake offerings give 105% more blood points for every player. So if all 5 Players use them everyone gets +525% bloodpoints in the round.
So in theory you ideally can earn 200k bp if everyone use offering + bbq/wglf.
-
I saved about 500k. It's enough to get several cakes on Huntress. So while I spend this new cakes, I will get ton of bp to level up Ghostface and maybe someone else.
-
Are you sure you were chased? All I know, height should be higher than cliff, and you should be chased. I didn't have problems with this challenge.
-
I didn't play trapper much. I got trapper challenges in current rift so I gave him a try. And I really enjoyed every single match.
STBFL and PGTW helped a lot. Without this perks I would probably lose.
My add-ons were Strong Coil Spring and Padded Jaws. Both brown. I never felt like I need to carry additional trap to win.
Padded Jaws is best add-on if you run STBFL. If you catch healthy survivor in bear trap you can farm 2 tokens.
For some reason red rank survivors feel over confident when they go against trapper, so they often tried to bully me. Which means they spend less time on gens and more on bodyblocks and altruism.
Best thing in trapper is he can force survivor to abandon loop by placing a trap. Or fake placing a trap. I really suck at loops as m1 killer against competent survivors. So trapper's power make me really happy.
Traps become little darker by default so survivors never notice it placed on dark surface.
I was surprised I did "catch 4 survivors" challenge on my first try without farming. I thought I will need several tries and I will be forced to farm it out. But most survivors are actually walking trap magnets. Just like me when I play as survivor against trapper.
-
I tried Exitlag, but it didn't help a bit. My ping stay same or even slightly worse. Every match I had a bad connection sign in a corner.
You can try a free trial, maybe it will help you.
There also services like VPNGame and WTFast, but I didn't tried.
-
If they don't manage to fix issues before anniversary, they better extend the event.
4th anniversary was 3 weeks long.
-
I hope they fix it before anniversary. Queue times are awful without console players.
-
They fixed that pallet bug, when you couldn't stun killer. Killer now stun properly and doesn't teleport to your side of pallet.
It's same as it was before that bug. Killer still can hit you trough the pallet due the latency though.
-
Save the Best for Last + Padded Jaws. Easiest way to farm tokens.

I just did it. You set a trap, and a survivor steps in it, then without picking up the trap, but just "resetting" it with right click, another (or the same i think) steps into the trap again.
That would be extra hard if you need to catch same survivor twice.
-
I think it means catch survivor, reset this trap and catch survivor in that trap again.
-
If DH was a base kit, what would you do with all other exhaustion perks?
-
I like Surge but I think it could use a buff. It has 2 downsides, and I suggest remove one of them.
Remove basic attack condition or remove cooldown.
It's Demogorgon's teachable. Demo has 2 types of attack, so it sucks you can't use this perk's whole potential. This is why basic attack condition is bad.
-
Well it could be fixed like Hit 4 survivors with a tentacle.
Or infect 4 survivors.
-
Thumbs up emote would be also great to have.

I'm dying of laugher right now. Imagine you go down in chase & you see a Meghead crossing her arms and shaking her head in disappointment in the distance.
Or someone emoting like this while you being moried.
-
This one.
-
Crossing arms emote to say stop doing something.
-
It's sucks to lose. But I never get mad at survivors as killer. Unless they sandbag and ruin game to their fellow survivors on purpose. But it's extremely rare case.
It tilt me a little when they go toxic in post game chat. Which is also rare, because I always say gg first. They could say gg back but most of the time they don't say anything.
Being nice in post game chat is so simple and it always cheers up. I think complementing your opponent in post game chat easily help to avoid being tilted. "You did well Yui". "Nice loops Dwight". "Well played everyone". This community not that bad. You can get some nice words back and it warms.

I would not see a 4K as a win. I would see a 3k as a win, since the game is designed to let the last survivor escape. Going for the 4K every game is a huge waste of time unless someone annoyed you enough to slug for it.
It's not nessessary to slug for 4k. You can win by finding hatch first. I personally never slug for 4k.
Ideally when there is 2 survivors left, I trying to chase one that have spare hook stage. So after hook him I have a time to find last survivor. And it'd be fine if he escape if I didn't manage to find him in time.
-
Whispers help find survivors early. You know survivors on gens, so when whispers lit, go to closest gen.
Whispers help to not was time looking for survivors, if they are not in the area. You see hot gen and whispers are off, you know no one there so kick gen and go somwhere else.
Whispers help find last survivor. When you kill 3 survivors and close hatch, whispers will show you which gates last one wants to open.
-
I played yesterday first time after few days break. I noticed one weird thing. At evening time killer queues was usually instant. But yesterday it took several minutes to find lobby as killer. For a 1,5 hours I only played 3 games. Just comlete my dailies.
Survivor queue took less than a minute. Looks like there is lack of survivors even at night time.
-
I can't think of any of his strong sides compared to Huntress.
He probably has more ammo. With 60 knives you can ideally take 7.5 health states, when Huntress can only take 5. But if you focus on accuracy you will waste a lot of time as Trickster. You will miss half of your knives if you try to play effectively, so you get about 3-4 health states, which is basically same as casual Huntress.
He feels faster than Huntress, but his power doesn't make much pressure compared to her.
-
If you try to play any killer with 0 skill, you would only win against 0 skill survivors.
-
Otz is not just a killer main. He has a great game sence as survivor as well.
Killers slug because sometimes it's nessessary. It's silly to expect killer find couple of injured survivors in one place and just down one of them. Killer will slug first and chase second survivor. No matter if he has DS or not. As survivor you choose to play injured or heal. Slug 4 healthy survivors off the bat is absolutely impossible. So it's mostly your fault you being slugged.
Also some killers on this forum slug unhooked survivor because they don't want to look like tunnelers and give you chance to be picked up.
BT was buffed so now it will protect from stealth campers and distant hatchets.
And I don't remember any loops were reworked. Main buildings still allow you to waste killer's time effectively.

Before Yun-Jin release it was Elodie.

This is already a thing, especially now.
You're gonna go into options, and there'll be a button that says "leave match".
Actually that is the answer.
If killer surrender, match ends. Doesn't matter if killer leave or surrender. For survivors it's basically the same end.
Looks like OP just asking for a button "Leave match without penalty".

Make me think that we don't really need 8k cap for categories.

If survivors refuse to touch gens and instead hide around the map, the killer can't end the match. Generators exist the way they do to force survivors into areas of the map, giving the killer the chance to find them. If survivors don't go near the generators, they could be anywhere on those large maps, and if they're decent at stealthing they can remain unseen indefinitely, holding the killer hostage.
That's one example of how survivors can drag out the match.
Another would be against me as killer right now, playing on the Switch. I can't see well enough to win chases as killer, so the survivors could run around in the open and prolong the game without even using pallets because I just can't see them, the maps are too dark. And even the tiles I can see I can't navigate because I'm apparently all thumbs with the joycons, I need more practice. I'm farming Deviousness points and the random "survivor found" Chase points playing killer, but I can't get hooks. I can't end the match myself unless the survivors literally stand still and let me down them. There are no perks or techniques that can help, it's a matter of getting used to the joycons and my eyes possibly adjusting to see better in the dark. In the meantime, if survivors ever realize how impotent I am and try to prolong the match just to torment me, my options will be to disconnect or go AFK. Fun.
@bibibib8 The killer being stuck in the match indefinitely is an issue. I'm not sure the surrender option is the right fix, though, because it's another way to allow players to leave a match for any dumb reason. A timer might be a better solution. I love the EGC timer, it's one of the best things that's ever happened to the game since I started playing.
I've seen SWF bullying one streamer by hiding all match. When he eventually find a survivor he just hit him and survivor hide again. But I wasn't felt bad for a killer in that video, because he was playing Legion. legion has a power that allow him to find stealthy survivors and that streamer didn't use it.
I understand that can be a problem for a killer without such power. But surrender button definitely not a best way to deal with such survivors. It probably better to make crows attack whole team if gens are not progressing for 120 seconds.
About switch problem. I don't know if you can adjust brightness on device, but you probably can adjust it on tv. And maybe turn off lights or curtain windows while playing. I may sound dumb, but I don't really know if it's possible to solve this problem like that.
-
If survivors not doing gens, they die eventually. If they do gens, they escape.
Killer in control how to end the match. If you managed to kill them before all gens done, you end it. If you don't manage to kill them, they escape before EGC kill them.
Survivors can't hold killer as hostage, because pallets are not infinite. If they bully you, just learn how to deal with it.
Hide your red stain in loops. Don't respect pallets. Bait them for free hits when they trying to flashlight save. Hit them when they bodyblock.
If it's much of a problem you can also bring anti-bully perks. Enduring+Spirit Fury. Franklin's Demise. Lightborn.
Killer doesn't need the ability to surrender.
-
I wish there was no speedboost on infection hit. Speedboost should only apply when it injure survivor.
-
I like his zombies. I was chasing Steve that baited me to chase him off hook. He run by the corner and got downed by a zombie. I picked him up and he hit me with ds. Then that zombie instantly downed him again.
-
You can drop it and it explodes by active button.

I agree about Wraith tunneling. When I see a hardcore tunneler it's mostly a Wraith.

I like this idea. Put 4 beartraps and bodyblock one box.

@Kaitsja said:
As a killer main and as someone who gets tunneled frequently as survivor, there absolutely needs to be built-in measures against tunneling and camping.
I don't like being tunneled, so I avoid doing it as Killer. When I do it unintentionally, I leave the survivor slugged, so they still have a chance to play. Tunneling feels cheap and unfair, so I call it out when I see it only to be met with statements like "It's your fault for making the stupid decision to be unhooked." or "You were the only one nearby.", or "Why should I play how survivors want me to play?" etc.
There's a myriad of excuses for tunneling and none of them are ever justified unless it's two gens, two survivors. Even in a situation where you're at 2 gens with 4 healthy survivors, it's still not okay to tunnel. It's still unfairly removing someone from the game because you lack pressure.
It is more efficient to go after the injured survivor, but if they've been off the hook for no less than 5 seconds, you're not really giving them a fair chance.
Sure, you can do what you have to in order to secure that 4k, but just know that tunneling your way there doesn't make you a better killer in terms of skill, and it really shows when you play against efficient survivors who capitalize on your tunneling.
So you don't tunnel even if you can't find any other survivor than unhooked one?

I thought they already did it for some of the previous tomes. So they might extend it one more time.

It will help you to make first hit quickly and have slight idea where the rest of the team will be. It's a good info, but I'm not sure it worth a perk slot. Maybe I'm greedy for perks that works several times.
This is the same reason why I dislike corrupt intervention. I was doing a challenge to end game before all gens done with corrupt. But it took a several tries to get it done. Survivors just spread out and repair gens faster.
It make me think that such perks are not really that good.
