Okay thanks! But would a Nvidia 1030 be enough or no?
No. If Last digit less than xx50 this card is designed to run something with low system requirements like office software. For games you have to buy 850, 950, 1050 or above. Like 1060, 970, 880.
I know 1030 seems inexpensive but reason is this card not gonna run any demanding games like dead by daylight more than 20-30 fps.
So I think 1050 is a best choise for you. Or you may look up for Radeon video cards. I'm not familiar with Radeon but they also have some good video cards for games.

It's a closed map. If you play survivor and hear the heartbeat you have 50% risk to run into killer because you don't know from where exactly he approaching. If killer has smaller terror radius by perk or power, survivor has even less time to react. Also survivors have harder time finding gens and totems on this map. It's a good map for most killers with few exceptions.

wow wish I played dbd back then the summer events seemed cool
Yeah, we had margarita machines as event gens. They was so shiny and size of 2 gens stacked. You could hide behind it without crouching. Nightmare for Huntress.
-
I still have summer bbq event tickets in Hag's bloodweb.
-
If you learn shock timings you gonna end chases faster in sertain loops and vaults.
-
I think OoO users are pretty much ready to be tunneled and facecamped.
-
If my escape is not a goal for some challenge I would always try to save hooked survivor when all gens done and gates 99'd. I won't be upset if I die trying.
-
Don't main one. Play several killers you enjoy. When you get bored from one you just switch to another. And from this several killers you will find most and least favorite.

Yeah that I know what I'm wondering is when you complete the challenge but don't collect the rewards when do they auto-collect themselves
There is no auto-collect. You are free to save it untill new chapter release.
But dbd is type of game you never sure about your progerss is safe. So I wouldn't save rewards like this for a long period. If you lose your progress due the bug that could possibly appear with any update, devs probably not gonna help you. But if you not affraid of that you may try.
There is a lot of players that save rewards from challenges for later like you do.
-
Challenges gonna stay forever. But when rift closes in 30 days you will not get rift shards and cometics from it anymore.
-
I often downvote those who suicide on first hook. It's ruining the game by intentional losing and it's should be bannable.

Imaging being such a miserable person to watch videos on how to play a videogame :D
Competitive games have strategies and tactics you may learn from other people. It is not a casual game you may complete. It's more like chess. You can play over and over, learn moves and get better. And there is nothing wrong to get advice from better players.
-
Small game is good choice.
My story don't help because I actually complete this challenge when everyone else was doing it. Killer was chasing my ass whole match and I was sad because he didn't let me cleanse. But I was surprised that random teammates cleanse all totems for me so I got it done. Challenges like this is better to do while current tome is active for everyone.
-
If you chose Nvidia video card, make sure last digit is 50 or above. Even 950 is much better than 1040. First digit is a series, last is efficiency.

Aww okay. Do you have any suggestions on which GPU I should get? None that'll break the bank tho lol.
GTX 1050 should be enough for dead by daylight. I personnaly have 1060 and it works fine.

It made Huntress' hatchets impossible to hit in close range no matter how good connection was.

Rank 1; just because she's harder to play doesn't mean she's impossible to play.
I understand it. Ok, I rephrase. Which highest rank console huntress you have played against?
-
Yes. Even if you catch a bug when steam don't close the application when you quit dbd, hours of game launched gonna be counted.
-
I played vs Huntress yesterday. She was rank 7 and didn't killed anyone, but she didn't played completely awful. And I was surprised she got the globe icon. She might be a windows store player. But if she was real console rank 7 Huntress I'm impressed.
Question to console players. Which highest rank console huntress could possibly get?

To do that I'd have to hit my obsession what will cost me stacks again. Except my obsession is friendly enough to hop in a locker so I could grab 'er out of it.
There is some scenarios to have 8 stacks. If your obsession is injured and you get 8 stacks before he get healed you may hit him and lose 2 stacks. You may gain 2 stacks while he on the ground or while he dying. But even if you get 6-7 stacks and dead obsession, there is pretty much no reason to have another obsession because your hits already fast af.
-
@DonZwiebel said:
DS is not useless. As Save the best for last addict I need to be DS'd at least once in a match to get a different obsession to keep my 8 precious stacks AND hitting my former obsession. :-)
If you killed obsession with 8 stacks you don't need new obsession.

What i hate the most about DS that they taunt me when they go to the locker and expect me to eat it and I will do it so I can tunnel them and punish them for wasting my time and for playing on that child style like if you have DS then let it happen don't act salty and thinking it will protect you.
I never understand this act. If you hop in locker you actually saving my time downing and picking you up. And on top of that you waste your ds.
-
I run it on survivor, because I tired to be tunneled in 2 of 3 games. I never bait killers but for some reason they often really like to tunnel me.
As Killer I may eat ds if I have time for that. I don't tunnel on pupose, but sometimes survivors with ds act like they have 9 lives. In that case I show them they not as safe as they think. But if it is end game I most likely would not risk to eat ds.
-
Some pretty hood and cape on Huntress with small axe. I would buy it even if it was legendary.
-
I don't really care about clicking and teabaging. I say gg in post game chat anyway. After that they actually don't say any bs. They say nothing or say gg back. Both results is acceptable.
Only time when they say bad words in post game chat is only when they get killed. In that scenario their words doesn't hurt because they just messed up and got frustrated about it.

I don’t know what the others are talking about.
If they tap the gen, the Overcharge skill check will pop up, even if the survivor is immediately running away. They have to succeed the skill check in order to not blow the gen, and stop the generator from regressing further (normal regression after the initial instant 15% regression for failing Overcharge).
So if the skill check is failed it’s an instant 15% regression. The gen will continue to regress as normal afterward unless the gen is tapped again, or worked on.
I'm pretty sure it stops regressing even if skillcheck is failed. I should check it later.

I'll admit I'm a self care hater on here, but even I'll admit when I see it used in a good way, I wouldn't mind teammates having the perk if it was as well thought out in the build as @ringwinning has made it, I just don't like a game where every time a survivor gets injured they hide and self care instead of rushing objectives to get the 4 out
100% agree.
-
Unfortunatelly it will stop regressing no matter if skillcheck is failed or not. Survivor may tap gen to get skillcheck while running away.
-
Any killer after being killed by Trapper is blessing. Thanks god I free to run again.
-
I hate to play against any killer. But especially Trapper. I hate to affraid of run. Every vault is risky. Grass looks insidious.
-
Even if major part of community says that selfcare is not effective, it is still very popular top 10 perk. I see it pretty much every game on red ranks. But I personally last time equipped it 2 years ago and I don't miss it.
This build should be good for looping and information and healing. So it should be your playstyle for this build to help. No exaustion perks, no stealth perks, no second chances. You've got to be good to compensate this.
-
I main Dwight since first time launched dbd. And when I play Killer I never kill any Dwight no matter how good or bad is player. When I catch him I just hook him up to 2 times and hope he get saved. And I hate when Dwight suicide or DC.

I do. I actually play it when I'm not at work.
I wonder how much do you play dbd at work?

I tried this one too! I wonder if they have database of typed codes, how many players also tried this one? It should be quite popular attempt.

The point is that I've got an adept on several killers after 1st - 2nd try, while I've tried for over 10 times on nurse. I've been doing decent with the addon that disables blinks for a minute after blink hit (and increases ms), but I ran out of them and I can't get even 1 kill most of the time...
Looks like you missing something important when playing Nurse. Try to find some Nurse tutorials. You don't get survivors weaker than rank 16 and weak survivors don't guarantee double pip because they could die on first hook. So you better become stronger Nurse to solve this problem. Or drop this adept until you ready to get better Nurse.

@Mercês said:
Very interesting. I've just skipped some lobbys as Nurse and the result was:
- 4 PC
- 3 PC + 1 globe
- 3 PC + 1 globe
- 4 PC
- 4 PC
- 3 PC + 1 globe
I wonder to know if they are trying to balance matches avoiding to put console gamers against Nurses, Huntresses and Deathlingers. I miss you globe players :(
I don't think console players less resistant to Huntress, Deathslinger and Nurse. They have everything to play successfully against them. They just didn't get used to it yet.

Daddy Myers cares not about pleasing the entity. Michael kills for himself.
Fair enough.

The point is I don't really wanna get experience with blinks. Just wanna get an adept and avoid playing this killer for some time.
Ok, I get it. But 16 rank players are weak as 20's. So just play casually, don't be affraid even to rank up to green and purple ranks. You may find team equal to your skills on any ranks eventually.
-
I don't like cat mask for Huntress. It is the ugliest thing in dbd. It's even worse than her horse mask. I know it's a horror game, but this is too much.
-
I think 70 days is enough but I don't see why can't we have 90 days for it because after 70 days we have 20-30 days before new rift.
-
Entity displeased no matter how well Tombstone Myers performed.
-
It helps mid-game. There is often situations you find warm gen and looking for someone who worked on it. Then you notice whispers is off and you know you can kick gen without risk being immediately tapped because there is no one around.
But the whole thing is that whisper doesn't help to find immersive blendettes. It helps you not waste time searching is huge areas. You don't need to sniff every corner of jungle gym or shack because you know there is no one here. It saves a lot of time.
-
Stun the killer 3 times in one trial. Not nessessary stun with pallet. You may also stun with Head On or DS.
-
I'm not sure if you get adept nurse on rank 20. Weaker players more often going to give up so you don't get your 11 hooks. Just play normally and get your expirience with blinks. You will get normal opponents eventually. I think purple survivors is just fine to get any adept.
-
Why it's only 3 answers? My favorive stun sound is Wraith's purr.
-
I would vote for 3 if I could. Where did they go!?, Evil Incarnate, Left for Dead.
But Where did they go require you to have at least one or more friends to play with. It is literally impossible to do by solo if you not extremely lucky.
Evil incanate is hard, because you never have time to get tier 3. And if you lucky to get tier 3 before last gen, survivors may deny your achievement by hiding in lockers or disconnect.
Left for Dead is almost impossible since EGC was implemented. You can't count on killer guarding hatch while you open the gate anymore. Killer would just close if. And then you have very little chance to get far separated gates and low mobility killer.
-
Two reasons. Legendary skins are expensive and chained.
Chaining of legenday skins is not always justified. So you can't do something interesting with combinig legendary skins.

Still, why do the challenges rely so heavily on the skill of my teammates and not my own
I dont want to argue but you may put effort to make your team escape. There is a part of your skill envolved in escaping of your team.

Let’s not forget having to have 6 survivors escape while you’re in the trail THEN escape.

You don't need to escape actually. It counts even if you dying on hook while your team escaping.
