  • Why is this such a big deal? If bhvr add an lgbt character everyone would be satisfied. Gay people would have their representation in game and homophobes would be happy to tunnel or sandbag them in game. It's a win-win scenario.

People who truly doesn't care should not mind it either. For me it's just another character to play as/against. I actually was surprised that trere is so much people against lgbt. I've heard it's ok in your developed countries.

  • But if killer notice you have it, he will probably not gonna let you stun him again.

    The Clown does!

apart from that, when I look at Dwight and some other survivors, I am not sure how they run THAT much 😏

Clown used to be athletic in school if i'm not mistaken. And he also tall which make him walk faster than any survivor. And on top of that he is entity's servant which means he probably given some inner power to be equalised to the rest of killers.

  • Is there overweight community that proud to be chubby? And they want their representation in game?

  • I like how you make conversation even in closed thread.

  • If you hook 2 guys in basement at same time, you win. If survivors not swarming you with flashlights you should probably not waste time trying to hook in basement. Hook in basement is time consuming for killer and for survivors. And if you not want to defend basement, you shouldn't hook in basement because you will waste big amount of time.

Defensive killers like Trapper and Hag can make basement save impossible. Bubba and Huntress are also great basement defenders. All the rest killers are good in basement only if survivors are overaltruistic.

Better allow mories to kill survivors without hooks at all, BUT when survivor is killed he is respawned on the other side of the map twice.

Like Pyramid head's cages, but without cage and torment. Killer trades hook pressure for an ability to skip things like BT&DS&4% and see cool animation.

When I started reading I thought it's another sarcastic reply, but actually it's an interesting idea.

  • I wish mori could work only on last hook.

More servers around the world to make less ping.

    Remove hook suicides.

  • If we consider suicide on first hook scummy, I would say there is more scummy survivors than killers. I hate bitches that can't handle one hook. And I don't accept any excuse for this scummy move.

Disclaimer: I skipped this DLC so I don't have the Twins to see killer perspective for myself, but in my survivor games Victor's pounce seems kind of generous or at least adequate.

I've seen him catch on a rock at a pallet loop a few times, and from a few times I've been hit, might be a bigger horizontal hitbox than it looks.

What do you mean you skipped dlc? Isn't it free? o_0 I got both killer and survivor unlocked when I downloaded an update. And I didn't even spend iridescent shards.

  • You don't want larger hitbox. You will bump into wall when you shouldn't. In my expirience I already bumping into edges sometimes. I don't want hitbox be larger.

You should probably be more patient when you pounce. It's like huntress. You have to wait survivor juke to calculate your hit.

Yeah I did, but if whatever they're complaining about is a legit criticism I agree.

Anyway, you are lucky you was playing Nurse which doesn't suffer much from this kind of bullshit.

Inb4 some absolute genius developer or mod suggests you run predator if you're having problems with scratches.

I guess he mean double pallet spawn

  • They could probably changed fov or camera height and didn't put it to patch notes.

  • I didn't played recently but I also noticed in some youtuber's video (probably Otz or ScottJund) that killer feels walking slower. But I thought it's because I took a break.

  • @konchok said:

It definitely felt like Charlotte was slow. But on blight I didn't notice anything with him.

Blight's camera probably closer to the ground. It makes effect that you walking faster visually.

  • Game have animations, textures, models and maps. Probably coding is a weak part of this game. They need to rewrite the code in parallel separate build 5.0.0, to make solid stable base of game which would not break the game with every new update. EVERY new chapter or mid-chapter always bring more and more bugs. There was no update without somethig going wrong. I'm not a specialist but it seems like rewriting the base code from ground with perspective to new updates will make this game healthier. Of course it's a ######### load of work so it should be done in parallel of live game and released when it's ready.

  • There killer dolls but they are not as accurate as survivor chibi dolls. They are just ugly abstractions of killers. We have some sort of Trapper. And pretty accurate dolls of Spirit and Wraith. And some sort of Huntress, but it's more like a doll she stole from soldier in her story. Fifth rift released without any killer doll sadly.

  • Yestrday I missed spacebar at struggle stage while trying to screenshot 2 console players selfcaring next to each other. It looked like rage suicide on second hook but actually I'm really bad with multitasking.

  • @burt0r said:

I personally have the feeling that moria are a relict from the dark ages of this game when survivor still could run Indizes.and have permanent hook sabo squads. Then they removed these unfair mechanics one after another and changed mori to the after a hook mechanic we have now.

But I think they didn't/couldn't remove them because those individual mori animations were a financial investment as well as a selling point for the killer side.

This topic resurfaces every few days/weeks and moris should be changed to an alternative to death hooks so that the time works on those animations was not wasted and people can still appreciate them outside of rancor or devour hope.

I'm not saying mori should be removed. But why it should be available from first hook? You can just bring mori to win. Not because you played good, not because your opponents played bad. But because you bring an offering. If it required second stage, it would be relatively fair. Why it takes so long to realise?

  • I got all achievements, I got all teachables. My current goal is max out all killers. Now I still need 22 millions of bloodpoints to level up several killers to p3. Then I have to max all their perks. Didn't count how much it will take.

  • Demogorgon. I lose my whole killer expirience and can't even land a hit with basic attack when I play Demo.

  • Test mmr was devastating for new players. Sistem was count veteran players like they have 0 mmr and put them to low ranks like Anakin vs younglinks. I suspect their mistake was that they make everyone have 0 mmr at start. But actualy it has to be at least 50 out of 100 and give it time to calibrate naturally. Or maybe convert rank (or devotion) to some amount of mmr. That would probably calibrate mmr faster.

AUDIBLE GASP HOW DARE YOUUU I have been out ace attorney'd on the dbd forums??? If only I had the talent to draw my Meggy in her pink fit doing Edgeworth's lil 'tsk tsk' move lol! Fine, you win.... but I call being his next test subject 😏

    Без-имени-1.jpg

    Draw her without skill then.

  • You mean taunts?

  • There is different ways to kill survivors. You can Kill survivors with your hands or Sacrifice on hook. Both Memento Mori and Tombstone Add-on allow to Kill with hands. But calling Add-on a Mori is technically wrong.

  • I wish head pieces on some survivors and weapons on killers could be worn separately. Some outfits are chained without any good reason.

  • @Zaytex said:

I don't know why but I'm seeing them more and more recently, just had a P3 Nurse tunnel me off hook till I was dead and even with DS, there was nothing I could do.

Dead in 2 minutes, what a fun match.

Try Sprint Burst instead of DS. Killers never tunnel off hook survivor who run away this fast, so they focus on rescuer. I don't run DS and killers never tunnel me.

  • I use overlay for same reason and I find helpfull that there is no sound. I don't miss the game because overlay is slightly transparent so you can actually see if game started.

  • Yes, I skip this one as well.

Devs will rework this ritual with next update, you will need to expose 4 survivors same as Myers. And rituals that give less than 30k will give 30k.

  • I would be shocked. I don't expect springtrap chapter will ever be released in dbd.

  • I like the sound of him being stunned. I like this sound more than pig's.

  • You would love to have Whispers when survivors decide to take you as hostage.

  • I'm pretty weak survivor and I can escape sometimes from average killer if teammates don't give up. But I'm bad against every killer possible if player is good.

I escaped from Hag when she took silenced addons but she never teleport in time. I escaped from another Hag on Game map, which is best map for Hag. But she didn't place her traps often and she was excited with chases at 110 speed. Hag is insainly strong killer, but in wrong hands she is harmless.

  • Demogorgon probably. But I don't really regret. I'm just so bad with this killer, I don't think I will play him ever again.

  • Yamaoka maps as frustrating as indoor maps. There is so much ######### on this maps, survivors always can hide while you wind up. And obstacles are so high, survivors are safe behind it even if they not crouching.

  • Do you keep levels and prestige of characters?

  • I'm not a hag main, but everytime I play hag, it's an easy double pip. She is beatable but her weaknesses as rare as matches vs hag. Urban evasion, flashlights and big cornfield maps. She is strong, but she is also rare. I think if more people played as hag, survivors would find some ways to play against her.

She is hard to play against because she has deffensive playstyle. Killers are mostly oppressive so they having hard time protecting gens. Hag has power to defend gens, hooks and any area she like. She is slow, but she doesn't need to be fast because she doesn't need to chase. Survivors bring themseves to her. She can camp without waiting and chase without running. Very inconvinient killer for survivors.

Another defencive killer is Trapper but he is not that effective because his power is not available everytime he want. He should manually collect traps and place it. It is very time consuming. Hag has a huge amount of traps ready to put down from match start.

  • I'm ok with Billy so I made all killer challenges without farming. But I wouldn't mind if survivors help.

And I could use some help from killers when I play survivor challenges. Challenge with 3 pallet stun I completed when I got nice Hilbilly. I stood in palet. He stopped in front of me. I was waving him to give me stun. He was noding no. I gave him my toolbox, and he let me stun him. But I got he wasn't into farming so I ran away. I came back to take my toolbox just to break couple of hooks for daily ritual. He noticed me and noded no to me. I ran away and did a gen. Then I found a flashlight. When Billy chased me he was trying to chainsaw me. I was looking for palets. We reached unsafe loop where he accidentally bumped into palet and I stunned him second time. He managed to hook me twice. Third time I found him during endgame collapse. I ran to pallet, gifted him flashlight before he reached me. He didn't want to give me stun because he was charging chainsaw. So I tricked him pretending I going to loop so he uncharged chainsaw and I stunned him third time. After that I stopped resist. He chainsawed and brought me to exit gates. He was playing helpful but challenging at the same time.

  • Old Freddy with hatchets. Old Freddy could see the aura of survivors outside his terror radius. He would be devastating on corn maps.

  • I'm not sure you can play any games that require faster connection. Sattelite internet must be slow as #########. You have to exchange signals with sattelite in space trough the atmospere. It takes significantly more time than wired connection. You can probably play chess or card games, but dbd would never be optimised for sattelite internet due technical difficulties and laws of physics.

But i'm not a specialist, it's just my thoughts. Maybe I'm wrong.

  • I think DC penalty is fine. I get 5 min penalty when my internet crashed. Unlucky, but most of the time I don't DC, so I never get more than 5 minutes if I have some crash. If you expiriencing multiple crashes, you better fix your issues. Your teammates shouldn't be screwed by your problems because it is unfair. If you need to end game because something happen, leave and get your penalty. It is fine because you obviously not going to play next 5+ minutes.

But if you want to DC because you don't like something, it is selfish. And it's fair to give you penalty because you need to take time. It is not fair if you get into next game instantly and ruin another game with DC because you don't like it either. It's fine, you can be selfish, you can ruin games, but you should be temporary punished for that.

This is so simple, I don't know why it should be explained. It's like asking why should I not be an #########?

  • In my expirience there is more fair players than ruiners. I have played survivor side today. Played about 20+ matches, got only one camper and one first hook mori killer. All the rest of games were good. Sometimes my teammates misplayed, sometimes I bumped into wall or missed skillchecks. Once I got Ash who refused to heal me, I just leave him, it's ok. But dbd community is fine and almost whole playerbase is good.

Game itself have some problems. Bugs appear every single patch. Devs should definitely do something with base code to make game more stable with updates. It's probably a ######### ton of work. Many people suggest to make so called health chapter. I think everyone would agree that we already have enough of content to play with. So devs could just focus on major re-coding of whole game.

And network problems. I think it can be solved by hiring new servers from local providers in areas with wide playerbase where Amazon servers can't reach. At least test possibility of such improvement.

  • This weekend will be remembered as darkest days for dbd killers. Removing of bloodlust and making beast of prey useless will destroy shaky balance of this game. All killers will return to rank 15 and most of them will never get their rank back. This is the end.

  • @PureHostility said:

Well, you can do the math yourself.

You get max amount of xp per match once you hit 10 minutes of game time.

This is 550 xp per 10 minutes

300*2 once per day for playing each side.

Emblem bonus is miniscule, it isn't worth taking into consideration at all.

This and thanks to the wiki, which says you earn around 250 shards per hour. It would take you 8 hours to get 2000 shards... 8 hours of pure game play.

It is much better to use BP to get perks off characters that can be bought with iri shards.

It takes at max 1.500.000 bp to get a character from 1 to 50.

You can somewhat reliably get 90k bp per game (killer of course, BBQ + 100% offering), which would require you to play around 16 or 17 games, which may take you around 4 or 5 hours to get through and unlock... 3 teachables rather than just 1 per 8 hours of pure game play.

Because there is also a lobby and loading time, a downtime between games can be as much as 5 to 10 minutes, which drastically increases the time to get these optimal numbers.

Personally, never use shrine of secrets unless you really don't want to spend any $ on licensed killers/survivors but want their perks instead. N

Otherwise use shards to unlock characters or skins, don't bother with the shrine, it is stupidly overpriced for the time you need to spend on grinding shards. Unlocking characters via shards not only gets you access to their perks later on but also increases the content of your game by making them playable.

Also, if you level up as smart as possible, consuming only cheapest stuff and let entity eat bigger brunches, you may hit level 40 for 1 million of bloodpoints. My personal record is 39, but I guess I could do better. It is not a problem to play another couple of matches to get required levels. And you actually don't need all 50 levels to get tinkerer. 40 levels is enough.

  • I think it's great. We had offerings that allowed to try licensed killers. But this idea is great. Those who doesn't have particular killer could try it to decide if they like it.

  • Of course is way to lose for killer if he commit to 5 gen chase. And it's more beginner killer's playstyle. But I still can fall for that as well if I get such a rare god-looper against me. When you chase someone this good it become really exciting. You don't care about gens anymore, you want to hunt your prey as Golden Snitch from Harry Potter. In that case you change your personal win conditions to kill this guy and don't care about pleasing the entity.
