i think she need to lose her aura reading ability on crowed survivors this kill mindgames when you are in chase with her
thats the whole point of the crows? without that theyre essentially useless. It kills mindgames because it wants you to repel them

I just stop playing after 3 games of unfun.
No counter-play besides hoping she misses. it's impossible to miss setting up around pallets.
Like Pre nerf Slinger with full MS.
Looking forward to well deserved nerfs very soon.
Just move away from her birds area of damage. that seems like an effective way to get rid of the issue

they really are lmao

I've played a few matches as her, but all those matches are ending in 3-4 minutes it feels like. It's actually kind of insane imo.
ending so soon cause you won, or lost?

LoL is the most toxic game ever. HOWEVER... their report system is very strict and complex. Reporting in DBD is useless. Nobody cares about cheaters or exploiters. And toxic behavior? Camp/tunnel/t-baging... nobody cares.
Even thought there is simple solution. Try reward nice players... Reward fair play... simple and cheap. Better than do nothing and ignore players. We paid for this game. And we are less than bots...
camping and tunneling arent toxic

Killers will cry
killers will say surv perks are broken, but you don’t see any of them in a week
killers will say the new killer is C tier
survivors will also cry, think perks are broken, and complain the killer is god tier op. Thats how the game works, both sides are whiny af

If the killers are unwilling you can tell from the damage to their body. Killers without damage are killing willingly.
The Artist doesn't have any damage on body other than from being tortured when she was kidnapped by the man and was given paint/ink as a weapon.
Her story feel similar to the Spirit story with how both felt rage. They may explain more in her tome but rage and maybe wanting revenge seems to be the main thing for now.
The only killer with damage not related to their pre-entity life is Trapper, so this arguement kinda falls apart there

Well, except for the ranged bug... and map being disabled... new killer being gutted... GF's goofy reveal staying broken...
Yeah, I was wrong, guess I only said that because we didn't get much in the PTB. No point in hoping unfortunately. But I do know Pig will be nerfed, Slinger will have 1% more speed while using ADS as his buff, and uhh... yeah. All of those in the mid-chapter.
pig will either get nerfed or get a buff so miniscule that nobody cares

@glitchboi said:
I expect all of these in the next mid-chapter.
i hope so. but there wont be a cheater fix in either one lmao

Yeah I think we are using the term differently. I'm using the more 'classic' meaning, which involves multiple toolboxes and stacked 'do gens faster' perks.
What you seem to be describing is just survivors playing 'meta'. If survivors are busy faffing around with my totems, chests and things - that's usually a mistake.
to be fair nothing in this game has explanations on what they are so

This is a quick thread about the status effects but. Would Exposed be OP if it applied to all attacks that being
Huntress hatchet
pigs ambush
legion feral frenzy
plague corrupt purge
demogorgon shred
Pyramid heads punishment of the dammed
blights lethal rush
victors pounce
Tricksters blades
nemesis tentacles
artist crows
it sounds op and strong as ######### but with the way the game is now with COH and the high MMR with killers would it hurt to make exposed work on all attacks or would it not fix anything?
With trickster im hoping you mean you need to take one health state and not one knife to instadown

1-2 will body block and save while 1 is the gen jockey usually
that is a good situation imo. thats 3 injures at the least, then chase one. Now they cant block since theyre all injured. See? not an issue, and also not genrushing because theyre doing something other than gens
-
@StarLost said:

'Genrushing' is sort of a catch-all term for 'survivors beat me'. It's the killer version of 'tunneling'.
The goal of survivors is to do gens before the killer can snowball. The goal of the killer is to try to prevent this, and to execute a 'Rule of 3' snowball - having 1 survivor dead before 3 gens are completed.
'Genrushing' actually (to my mind) refers to a specific strategy of stacking a team with BNP, PTS and the like and slamming out/rotating people onto gens so fast (often at the expense of hook states) that the killer cannot realistically apply enough pressure fast enough. The 'rush' part implies a cheesy strategy that requires substantially less skill/effort to execute than counter, much like 'rushing' in an RTS.
I don't think anyone considers flashlights a problem, aside from us photosensitive types who have to go and lie down when someone is flicky flicky strobing all game.
Bodyblocking - I welcome it. Thanks for feeding me free hits. Most of the time, even if someone breaks free, I'm now ahead of the game.
The problem aspects are:
- MMR putting SWFs up against killers far less skilled than them (either smurfing or a quirk of the system).
- Stacking perks that make it disproportionally hard for a lot of the killer roster to really do anything.
- An increasingly sophisticated playerbase that even at intermediate levels knows how to abuse strong tiles to be almost uncatchable for some killers.
- Half the killer roster being sort of bad.
i agree minus the genrushing thing. Genrushing is when survivors all spread out to 4 gens at the start and ONLY do gens. No totems, no heals, no saves, just gen gen gen and leave
-
I was in awe at first. When i saw NOTHING bad i knew it was fake
then i cried
-
Ghostface's Devil Face Mask, and Mikaela's blue croptop with the lil backpack
-
its not an issue. If the survivors can stop you from getting a down they will, and they should
-
@SweetTerror said:
Kindred aura base kit. Equipping the perk will now reward everyone with increased generator repairs should the killer be face camping the survivor.
Extra blood points for killers if they're facing a SWF
The removal of perk tiers
Killers have a say so in what maps they don't want to go to.
Redesigned map layout so LT walls can't connect to shack for unlimited looping
A genuine concession feature for both killers and survivors if they're getting utterly destroyed that will reward everyone with blood points should everyone agree
Killer buffs to Legion, Myers, and more.
And the list just goes on and on...
dont worry i fell for it hard af too lmao

@ShadowNurseZFX said:
Not gonna say much as everyone knows it and everyone has been saying it but just had a game of body blockers flashlight savers and gen rushers with dead hard. I honestly think they should just nerf survivor. and make the maps smaller, and the gens more tight. Thoughts? Lemme know your ideas below.
Agree and disagree.
Bodyblocking, flashlights, genrushing is all easily countered. Theyre also valid tactics. The survivors obviously arent gonna want you getting hooks because it makes them another step closer to losing. However, they cant all be genrushers AND flashlight/blockers. If theyre following you around to get a save they arent doing gens

You should play both killer and survivor to get rid of your "us vs them" mentality.
I play both. Survivors definitely have privileges like not being judged for perk usages or add ons

I mean if you can see them that usually means they can see you too... and even during chase you can be revealed. Revealing is only good for hiding your red stain in the chase when it's a high wall loop. Otherwise you're better off stalking from far away if possible to minimize your chances of being revealed
i rarely stalk. i usually just use it as a way to jumpscare survivors. I couldnt see them through the shack. Not the side with the window, or the door, they were on the other side of shack

It was a fix. Is the perk OP? Maybe but there’s no denying it doesn’t break the game so no kill switch needed
i strongly disagree. It isnt healthy for the game. i remember when people needed skill to use dh effectively. now just press the button when the killer raises their weapon for an easy escape
-

You forgot to mention CoH, DH, purple medkits
i did mention dh. the others arent broken. Purp medkits are rare and a consumable so it isnt an issue and coh is just a worse medkit
-
@ChurchofPig said:
They've said they're only going to use the kill switch on something that is bugged in a way that's abusable or something that physically crashes the game.
It sucks but that means none of those things will be kill switched. Also I'd say we should forget about Ghost Face's reveal. If he hasn't been fixed yet, he probably won't until he's reworked.
i love ghostface, i main him, but his revealing is bs on both sides and has been for a while. yesterday i was revealed from behind the shack.
-
on my Trickster i only run thrilling or bbq for tracking, corrupt, iron maiden, and the doctor perk that decreases tr and increases visibility. It makes me feel faster, stronger, and like im trying to kill the survivors instead of preventing them from doing gens

Not from the killers POV. Thats super frustrating when you hear and see everything tell you that you got the hit, except for the survivor themself and theyre picture

Yes lets buff solo q until its to the point where its swf levels... How about no, remove swf and keep the game how it was originally made which was 4 random survivors vs the killer.
Also no. What kind of multiplayer game doesnt let you play with your friends?

Question! What is the better version of coh?
A medkit. You dont need to set up or go anywhere to heal with a medkit
-
like i said NOED rarely gets kills. When i use it or when its used against me, its like 2 kills max. MMR should be removed entirely
@MikeyBoi said:
One of the biggest problems with NOED is that perk alone is raising killers skill based match making because from what I’ve heard kills is what raises your MMR not hooks.. So if I’m a wraith and all 5 gens get done with only 3hooks and no kills but I manage to kill all the survivors during EGC or prior because of noed then my SBMM goes up even though I couldn’t kill anyone prior to noed activating because I’m inexperienced against good survivors…
-
Boons arent that bad. Im not afraid of them and neither should anyone else be. Theyre just worse versions of pre existing items/perks
-
@Pulsar said:
So cleansing 4/5 totems as a Solo Q player should cause you to get hit with instant downs.
NOED is not fair to Solo Q players who are struggling already.
Killers cant tell who is and who isnt soloq. All it takes is one good team and gens are done before you can get a kill unless youre playing blight or nurse. NOED is a killer's second chance perk. In a game where one team has so many second chance perks, and the other team has one viable one that everyone considers to be a noob perk or an op perk. Double standards are RAMPANT in this community
-
Judging by your picture, you play doctor, yes? Doctor.....the killer with built in tracking? Doctor, the killer whos ENTIRE POWER is based around making survivors scream, revealing their location?
-
@TheArbiter said:
Noed doesnt need a nerf, solo q needs a buff to be on par with the information you get from swf.
100% agree

"The killer gets 1 kill with it if theyre lucky, and its usually never me."
Ok, write your position again when it starts being you then lol.
when it is me i also dont care. Im always willing to sacrifice myself if it means everyone else gets out

@DangerScouse said:
NOED shouldn't be a Hex Perk. That way it might finally move the game slightly away from it's survivor bias.
if they do this theyll give it a timer / token system
-
insidious doesnt need a nerf. ive been playing for a year and ive encountered two people whove used it, a basement chest guarding bubba and a basement chest guarding slinger. neither got a kill
-
They dont even ban actual cheaters lol youll be fine
-
Noed really isnt an issue. Ive been playing survivor a lot more, specifically solo q. i usually find the totems by luck and then cleanse/bless them. if i dont and theres noed and the killer is facecamping or im the last survivor? i leave.Not every game needs to be a 4 man escape
