I think you misunderstood the OP, as Clown and Legion don’t have unique chase music. You’re thinking of the menu music that came with their chapters.
My favourite chase music is definitely Michael’s followed by Demo.

You can actually get away with a lot of stuff you shouldn’t be able to with some killers, so I always like to test the water to see how ‘smart’ a killer plays and then I know what I can and can’t attempt.
Recently I ran to unhook somebody against a Freddy, made him hit them on the hook instead of me and then I just crouched at the hook. He walked away trying to work out where I had ran off to, when I literally just sat at the hook. I then got the unhook and made him chase me so my teammate could get away. He was rank 1.
I don’t think I fall for anything as dumb as that when I play killer, but it’s because I play a lot of survivor as well, so I know the stuff to look out for. Unfortunately, some people only play one side, which hinders them in the end as they fall for so much stuff throughout the match. It’s ridiculous how many times I’ve been able to do the exact same thing more than once in a match before the killer learns from their mistake.

There’s nothing wrong with her default clothing. There’s plenty of other survivors you can be stealthy with. I mean, I can go entire matches without being hit once as Felix using his blight cosmetic.
Playing as Claudette doesn’t automatically turn you into a ninja. Me and my friend often play her in her P3 cosmetic and they’re normally always the first survivor found, regardless of the killer as they just suck at stealth.
Playing as Claudette doesn’t seem to make them as invisible as people claim. 🤷🏻♂️

I had this exact same discussion with my friend yesterday, but after calming down (lol) I started to believe it wasn’t going to be a licensed chapter. The timing would be impeccable if it was Supernatural related considering the show ends in 2 weeks.

Bluntly put, no, and that's the Issue. Jack Torrance is just a man. Sure he's a man driven crazy either by isolation or a haunted Hotel, but he's just a man. If he did get put into the game, I figure it'd have something to do with the "Overlook's Presence" or something like that. Possibly the Ghosts from the hotel helping him out in some way? It'd be cool to see what they could do with him, but I don't see it happening.
That’s why I asked, because I just don’t know how he could work. There’s other classic licenses like Psycho, but again, as Norman is just a man, I just don’t think he’d work.
It would be cool if we could get some licensed maps, like Bates Motel and Overlook Hotel without having to have a full chapter.

I eventually wanna become an Oni main, I think he's really fun, but I'm just so used to my sneaky playstyle as Ghostie and Wraith.
I was really excited when I saw Steve. I was pretty sure the survivor would be Jonathan, since the first season focuses around the Byers' family so much, but I'm so much more happy with Steve and Nancy. Even if Steve's perks are utter garbage.
AS for a chapter I'd want, I'll say it once, say it a million times - Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. Its personally my favorite horror movie, and I would be so happy with them. Imagine how cool it would be to run around the Overlook Hotel? And imagine the theme. The Shining already has one of my favorite themes of all time, incorporating it's soundtrack into DbD would be amazing.
Do you have any ideas of how a Shining chapter would work? In terms of the killers powers etc.

Worst? Chains of Hate (although I actually really like the map) and Darkness among us without a doubt. Awful awful awful killer, atrociously badly designed map and the most forgettable survivor to date outside of maybe Zarina. Still the two most boring killers ever added to DBD. They'll struggle to 1-UP themselves here I think.
Also is Ghostface considered a chapter? If so despite liking Ghostface I'll add him to worst due to the sheer lack of content he came with.
We share the complete opposite opinions, as I thought OG Frederick was the most miserable experience in the game from a survivor side of things lol.
I don’t necessarily like going against good Deathslinger’s, but I love playing as him. But I’m a fan of shooting games, so it’s two worlds colliding. Jeff is also one of my favourites, in terms of aesthetic as I love men with tattoos lol. I just don’t like how big and loud he is, as even when he’s not injured, he’s easy as hell to track. 😂

I fully believe Oni is the coolest looking killer in this game, I enjoy being a sneaky killer and leaning behind walls, and Stranger Things because it gave me Steve.
I loved when Oni was added. Like you said, he’s just such a visually cool killer. I haven’t gotten to a stage yet where I enjoy playing as him, but I still appreciate him.
Steve and Nancy are two of my favourite survivors and I never thought they’d be added to this game. I still remember the trailer coming out like it was yesterday.

I actually like the idea of having more interactive maps as it can become quite stagnant when nothing actually changes a part from the scenery. I know it’s a small change, but I love that you now hear the snow crunching beneath your feet on Ormond when you play as survivor.
I think it could be quite cool if you could knock things over as a survivor or stand on branches which then alerted the killer. It would definitely add to the horror atmosphere as these are things we constantly see in horror movies.
Imagine sneaking off into the corn, only to then stand on a branch which alerts the killer. I’d actually love it. 😂

Honestly, no.
I remember when I took quite a big break from this game and when I came back, even though my rank was lower, I was still a rank 1 at heart and I just didn’t enjoy destroying the survivors or being able to loop baby killers all game.
I like a fair fight. It makes it more fun for me when you win.

My proudest match was when I went against a rank 1 4-man squad, who all had Breakout, Saboteur, Dead Hard and Soul Guard and I won with 2 generators left.
Luckily for me, I was playing as Deathslinger as he’s the killer I feel most confident with, but it was definitely an intense game. 2 of them had toolboxes and 2 of them had flashlights and one of the Claudette’s with the flashlight was so annoying, but my aim was on point this game and I kept dragging her back towards me before she could get around corners to loop.
I felt a sense of accomplishment when they stopped trying to ‘bully’ me and tried to rush the generators instead. It just showed me that they realised they had met their match. I’m pretty sure I would have lost if it wasn’t for Rhinestone Cowboy. So now, I rarely play as other killers.
Deathslinger is love. Deathslinger is life. 🤠

Well that’s a people problem. I haven’t got my hopes up about this being a licensed chapter, people just like to grasp at straws.
They could have just released a teaser of a glass of water and people would be like “OH MY GOD....WATER....LAKES....IT’S JASON!!!!”

Until Dawn was pretty popular, I don't see why they'd have any reason not to go for it except for the risks surrounding playstation exclusivity. Sony would probably be up for it because it gives people a reason to consider buying a PS5 since it's back compatible with PS4 games, they may want to play it after seeing it in DBD alongside other icons.
I don't think it IS Until Dawn because the hand is just a bit to fat and human to be the Wendigo, but I don't see anything else that comes close to theorise around.
How is there no good reason to tease an unlicensed chapter? Do you not know what a teaser is? Why do you think games, tv shows and movies all release teasers before a full trailer? It’s to start conversations and build hype, which is exactly what’s happening.
I’m a fan of Until Dawn and I never said it wouldn’t be a good fit. It just isn’t this chapter. If they were to get the license for it, we’d know. They wouldn’t tease it like this, they would straight up tell us. However, I don’t think it will ever come to this game though, because of how Sony are with their exclusives. I can’t see them allowing their characters in DBD.

The “Until Dawn” theory does have some compelling points.
I just don’t see it. The only similarity is the fact it looks like a Wendigo. Until Dawn is known for snow, the woods in the teaser are very generic. Plus, I’m almost 99.99% sure this isn’t a licensed chapter. Logically, they’d have no reason to tease it.
They’d want people who played Until Dawn to come over to this game. One of the main reasons we get licensed chapters is because of the money they generate. They got me because of Halloween and I’m pretty sure a lot of others discovered this game because of the crossovers.

As a Deathslinger main on PS4, I completely disagree. I’ve noticed that PC survivors can spin around faster, but once I know how they’re playing, it’s easy to bait out. I’m the king of the quick scope and no amount of spinning or moonwalking will save these little rat bastards from meeting the pointy end of my spear.
Whether you’re on console or PC doesn’t matter. The Rhinestone Cowboy is coming to getcha.

I can't imagine you dipping out of chases using Urban Evasion unless your running Iron Will with it. In this scenario I'd give the credit to Iron Will and not Urban.
Don't get how you can make amazing BT saves against a camping killer unless it's Hag. It's faster to run in a save them if their camping so I'm near certain you mean Hag.
Your right when you say it's the person running the perk but typically better players will use perks that are better at high ranks. They don't run all the same meta perks it's just that there's no reason to run urban over other, better stealth perks.
If it's doing you a great job then that's actually great. Maybe you will be one of the few players running Urban that will actually make it look good.
It’s actually both Urban Evasion and Iron Will that help during chases. I’ve had countless moments where I’ve been getting chased at a jungle gym and I’ve been able to start running in one direction and then quickly crawl in the opposite and lose the killer. It wouldn’t have been possible without UE as I would have been crawling too slow.
I recently had a match against a Rank 1 Billy who kept trying to chainsaw me at close range, I made him hit a wall and then crawled away behind a rock. He had no idea where I went and kept circling around trying to find me but because I had now gained quite a lot of distance and left no scratch marks, he just gave up and left. Most killers won’t expect UE and they’ll assume you jumped into a locker which just buys you more time to get away from the area whilst they check every locker in sight.
The perk isn’t for everyone, but I know for a fact it’s helped me out in plenty of chases and I’ve made plays that wouldn’t have been successful without it.

It’s weird that you posted this as I was recently saying to a friend of mine that I’m convinced I keep going against players using wall hacks. The killer won’t search an area and happen to find me, they’ll come straight at me. I convince myself they must be using Whispers or something similar, but when the match ends they just have 1 or 2 perks and neither of them help with tracking.
Sometimes it feels like I’m the only one being targeted in the game. I’m extra sneaky and I know the difference between being seen go to a location and somebody just automatically knowing where you are. I’ve never bothered to record it, as I don’t think I could ever prove they are hacking, but it’s definitely not a coincidence.

No they don’t? Because how could they have been anything BUT Saw and Halloween? They were teasers for something we knew we were getting. It’s completely different to what was released today. You’ll see for yourself when it’s an original killer and survivor.

No we didn’t? They received trailers announcing that they were Halloween and Saw chapters. It’s completely different. They weren’t teased as they don’t tease official licenses. They just announce them.

It’s 100% not Samara. The teaser has absolutely no resemblance to her or The Ring? It’s also not a licensed character. We don’t get teasers for licensed stuff.
My guess would be a Banshee or Wendigo.

It’s actually one of the best survivor perks IMO. Especially during chases. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost a killer by being able to crawl off whilst injured. It’s so funny watching them running around a loop trying to work out where I’ve gone.
When it’s used correctly, it’s extremely effective.

I actually really like this perk. I use Iron Will, No Mither, Resilience and Spine Chill quite a lot. I like being able to see the gold progress bar on everything I do, without having to let the killer injure me first. Plus, you don’t have to worry about being exposed by anything, as you’re a one-hit down regardless.
It can also add pressure to the killers that love to slug using Infectious Fright. Do you really want to slug the No Mither? 🌚

Survivors can’t run through them. They’re a solid object for both sides.

I use Self-Care + Botany Knowledge quite a lot. But I know when to use it. I don’t just go and sit in the corner of the map to heal when somebody needs saving. I can’t rely on my team to heal me, as I get survivors constantly running away and the majority of the time I’m the one having to do hook saves. It’s a lot easier to do this if you’re at full health.
People can say what they want, it won’t change how I feel about the perk. I can consistently be at the top of the scoreboard for BP and be the one doing generators, picking up slugged teammates, unhooking, cleansing totems etc.
Self-Care isn’t the problem. It’s the way people use it. 🤷🏻♂️

For survivor I’m currently using Iron Will, Spine Chill and Kindred with the 3rd perk changing. I’ve been using Deliverance quite a bit recently as I’m getting sick of being hooked at the end and watching the rest of the survivors sitting in the exit gate waiting for the killer and letting me die on my first hook. I also love Autodidact and Urban Evasion if I’m playing a female character.
For killer, as I currently main Deathslinger I’m using Monitor & Abuse, PGTW, BBQ and A Nurse’s Calling.

Because of COVID restrictions, I plan to watch Halloween (1978) followed by Halloween (2018) and Trick ‘r Treat. Depending on time, I’d also like to watch the Halloween episodes of Buffy and Supernatural, but I can always watch more stuff tomorrow.
Halloween isn’t just a day for me, it’s a way of life.

Honestly, no.
I play on PS4 and all I’ve realised is that there’s good and bad players on every platform. I was recently in one of Morf’s matches and I didn’t once feel inferior to him or the rest of the team (they were also PC) as I know how to play the game. Obviously the PC has better performance, but I’m used to PS4 and it doesn’t hinder me in the slightest.
The only difference I’ve noticed as killer is that PC players are able to spin around faster to try to avoid being hit. But, they all get quick scoped and hooked just the same as my fellow PS4 players. I’ve yet to go against a player where I’ve truly noticed how much harder they were to down.
If you have good game knowledge, you’ll be good on whatever platform you play. And that’s a fact.
