Lol knew it would be this game from earlier before I opened the thread.
Actual gameplay starts 4 seconds in, 3rd gen pops at 1:44 so 1 minute and 40 seconds for 3 gens. That means the extra 20 seconds were likely the survivors running to seperate generators.
Its not good. I feel the map is part of the problem. Rotten Fields has never been a good map. I thought they were shrinking it? It seems just as big as ever. Anyway so you have a huge map where the gens are spread out and then you have corn everywhere so you can’t see what gens are being worked on from a distance.
I don’t get why some people turn their nose up at Corrupt Intervention. That would have massively helped here. Based on how quick that went I would guess survivors started on the far gens, corrupt would have locked them off and forced the survivors inwards, which I feel would have changed the start of this game a lot.
Yeah the devs say they expect early gens to go fast but losing gens like this theres only really Billy or Nurse that can come back from that or a strong campy Hag game.
You forgot Trapper lol. When you play Trapper you expect to have 2-3 gens remaining by the time you finish your set up.

Let's see...
-The Lighthouse (2019)
-Halloween (1978)
-Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
-Evil Dead 1 & 2 (1981-87)
-Nosferatu (1922)
-Saw (2004)
-Us (2019)
-Psycho (1960)
-Scream (1996)
I'm sure I missed a few, but these ate the ones that came to mind.

Find the full version of Incy Wincy Spider, the one that was featured in the credit sequence of the move 8 Legged Freaks.
I've though about doing a full on "If [Killer] Had a Theme Song" thread for a laugh and having Deathslinger have the song Pale Rider, by the Heavy Horses.
Personally for Mr. Slinger I think "Ain't No Grave" by Johnny Cash is the best choice

if a survivor is bold enough to do a gen in your face that means your prescense as killer is garbage. any killer that is "sweating" no survivor is going to ######### with them after they get their ass handed to them the first time.
Otz and Tru3 are garbage then? Interesting.
-
The perk is fine in theory. The only thing that needs changed is the fact that you can jump into a locker (or sit on a gen, etc.) in the killer's face and they can't do anything about it. That's lame.
-
It would be hard to do if there's no movie (or drawing, I guess) adaptation to go with it.
The closest I want to go to that is Jack and Wendy Torrence from The Shining.

As soon as you said power bar i was out. Hes the trapper. He places traps. He doesnt need a power bar as his ability is already limited by tge number of traps he has and how long it takes to place those. All he needs is for his traps to spawn slightly cliser together, allow him to carry 2 at base and buff the trap setting speed by a quarter to a half of a second. Thats it, hes golden.
Hard agree.

For balance? Sort of vague reason imo.
Has it been tested? What sort of imbalance does it create? He still has to set them up around the map, I just honestly do not see a reason for it in the current meta. I have never seen any legit reason for it and just started to p3 him and find it makes me want to run perks that stall the beginning of the game, whereas I never do that on other killers including Hag. I have played my hag to p3 in red ranks and just see it as awkward to have to run around map to get traps and then set them when hag starts out with all ten.
However, I've seen it argued that the reason Hag starts with all of her traps is because her traps don't directly cause damage/stall a survivor. Trapper's bear traps do.

That wasn't a direct answer to your question haha. It was a qualifier for my next statement :)

Can anyone even provide a valid reason for him to not start out with ALL his traps?
For balance reasons, if they did this I think the max capacity without a bag should be 2.

600 employees is plenty to maintain a game such as this. Dota 2 has a very small development team, 40-50 people total, and embarrasses this game with the amount of updates and the size of said updates. CS:GO has a 30-40 person dev team and likewise outdoes DBD. The only reason BHVR doesn't do more balance changes is because they're unwilling to do so.
*BUT we got SO MANY other stuff added to the game:*
Any survivor addition is just a slightly new model, textures, and voices. They all function the same, and likely they have a base model they make minor changes to for each new survivor. Art wise it's a day or two of work, then you have voice acting and programming and it's done. The killers take more work because they actually impact the game with their power, look unique, and move in unique animations, so that's fair. But, there are a lot of poorly balanced additions, especially when it comes to perks, add-ons, and maps. And any time something is poorly balanced it either gets ignored or takes ages to even have a minor change unless it is an extreme example such as MoM.
Lampkin Lane is a map released in 2016 and is still horribly balanced garbage that everyone knows is horribly balanced. Trapper has been a dumpster tier killer since the game's release. And as I've emphasized every day, 90% of perks are worthless and rightfully go completely ignored and unused.
Sure the devs are pushing new stuff out every couple months, but it's still poorly balanced stuff. Their QUALITY is bad, even if their quantity is high, and more and more people are calling them out on it as time goes on. Even their own fog whisperers are finding it hard to keep their mouths shut. The devs spend more time getting hold of licenses and going through legal channels to add licensed stuff than they do making sure the balance of what they add is good, and that's the problem.
Covid is no excuse when it's only existed for a few months while balance issues have existed for years unchanged (like Trapper and Wraith, both launch killers, being extremely low tier killers). There's no reason for you to defend them so staunchly, you're not on their payroll and anything I say will ultimately make no impact on them. Likely, not a single dev beyond at most a community manager will ever even glance at my posts. The corporation that made over $100 million last year doesn't need you to protect them from my mean words.
Dude, please stop. You're making yourself sound like more and more of an ass with each response.

85/15 killer main here.
Spirit is BS. SWF can be overwhelming, but definitely not impossible. All you need to be good as Spirit is a pair of OK headphones.

Agitation, Infectious Fright, Corrupt Intervention, Dark Devotion :)

I really hope not for a myriad of reasons.
Mainly because CW shows are terribly written and acted, and I think we should strive to have good quality media in the game.

I'm not saying that I am at all an Immersed player, I'm not. I just play stealth.
"I jUsT plAY SteAlth"
Stealth and immersion are the same thing. Boring for killers, annoying for your teammates. Do something.

Right, because one perk should completely invalidate 2 different killers' power.

Clown and Freddy. 35% slowdown at loops would be insane.

Bro, your survivor main has been showing full force the last few days. Chill.
Anytime a killer gets changed for the better the devs "cater to killers". Anytime survivors get changed it's just "needed balance!!!! >:( xD git gud rawr"

Discordance and BBQ together?

I mean, it seems situational to get it to work and a pain in the D for killer whenever it does work.
I wouldn't necessarily hate it.

I agree with you. He's not terrible and he would be a more played killer if he had buffs. Better perks, knife throwing abilities, etc. I feel he was missed potential from his backstory to his build. He is bottom tier with Clown cause it seems more effort was put into other killers and this is noticable.
Bro legion with throwing knives would be dope

Otz can get a high win rate with any killer in fact he himself considers Legion to be weak what are you on about. If the person who could get a high care rate with them he is good with them but can even see that they are weak your point fails.
It is literally the funniest thing how everyone points otz I kill streak with them but completely forgets what he mentioned about it
What he said is definitely accurate, but saying they're worse than clown is laughable.
-
Yes anymore. Go watch Otz win 50+ games in a row with Legion and tell me he's the worst killer in the game.

I would only do this if I wanted to lose. Franklin's is for losers, just face the wall or bait the flashlight save and run a real perk. Noed is for baby killers easily countered and taken out. Most killers only get one down, if that, with noed. Dying light is trash that only works on two people at once, while buffing the survivor you avoid. Thana is only good against teams that heal and most good players don't even do that. Then you suggest slugging with knockout.... Lol Are you trolling the most toxic build in the game or are you actually serious with this? If you are you must get DC's every game.
Wait... you went from saying all of these perks suck to saying they're toxic? Which one is it lol
-
Low risk, high reward.
-
As a killer main, Spirit is ridiculously easy to do well with.
The first game I played with her I got my adept with no add-ons. At rank 2.
She doesn't necessarily need a nerf, but she needs something.

Yeah, most of Legion's add-ons are either unusable or just bad.
The only good one's imo, are the FF extending add-ons, the Broken Pin, Defaced Smiley Pin and Iridescent Pin, and the Rulers. Everything else is either broken (Frank's Mixtape or Stab Wound Study) or useless (stun decreased/Killer Instinct Range Extenders)
I disagree, I think that Cold Dirt/Joey's Mix Tape together is good. I use it to bodyblock windows or pallets.

Play some killer. Especially if you're rank 20.

I never said that their claim wasn't stupid but yours is still incredibly idiotic.
Both keys and moris are bad for game health and I wish they'd have changed em both in this upcoming mid-chapter instead of having changed Billy/Bubba. Don't get me wrong, Bubba needed it (and we can argue all day about Billy depending on your viewpoint) but imho keys and moris need changing faster.
Definitely agree.
I don't use moris or keys (unless I know I'm playing against someone toxic in which case I'll sometimes use a green) so it feels even more "unfair" when they're used on me lol

Neither is "tunnel the key holder". I don't control what the survivors do. Sometimes they bring Decisive Strike. Sometimes they bring Unbreakable and Soul Guard. This is not a good answer.

You can always tunnel the key holder. Not like it's different from unusual from average killer gameplay just more targeted. What is the counter to mori ?
Don't go down.
-
Yeah, I played one of those 4-man gen-hump SWFs yesterday as a perkless baby nurse on Yamoaka. All 4 of them had sprint burst, DS, unbreakable and soul guard.
Coulda got 1 but ya know DS activating in a locker is totally fair (:

@TheHentity said:

Well sure, but there are different people with different tasks at the team.
The team that would animate a mori has little to do with issues like lag or balance.
As for OP , yep I personally would like it if all killers had 3 mori's, 1 basic and 2 you can unlock by getting adept and another achievement associated with that killer, that you can then equip.
But that would be probably part of a much bigger Mori overhaul update.
The 3 mori idea would actually be cool but it would take a lot of resources.
-
Huntress, Hag, Freddy
-
Low priority.
There's many more important issues to be worked on.
-
They didn't hold the game hostage. You said yourself that it was in EGC. Even if not and the killer just slugged you for some reason, it still wouldn't count because you'd bleed out eventually.
-
Just chase them out lol. It's not that complicated.

This applies to mostly to Hawkins and Midwich
Who on the design team thought having all of the pallets being unplayable was a good idea?
Who on the design team thought a map when you can hold W around the map and never be caught, or when you are caught, you have no pallets to play with was a good idea?
Who on the design team thought of placing the two staircases on opposite ends of the map as the only means of accessing the second floor (aka the second half of the map)
they cant be the same people who designed the decent maps IE azarovs, mcmillian, etc
Midwich is literally safe pallet city. Hawkins is... well, it's there.
But really, not map reworks until they change Hadden-fair.
