If you’re swf it’s not really necessary
Maybe. If you have an Object on your team who does callouts so you’re basically playing the game with a GPS
-
Survivor
No ED on bad Killers. It’s like watching a toddler have a tantrum. They get rewarded for their bad behavior
-
Unbroken and Evader are both the emblems that the Killers have the most control over.
Unbroken and Evader basically just say how easy of a target you were for the Killer to focus down. Try using Sprint Burst and you’ll see a massive improvement. Because it drastically decreases the odds of getting hit early in a chase and the Killer committing to chasing you in general.
So you “win” more chases and get downed less often
-
I hate Shelter Woods. It’s got a bunch of dead zones with no map geometry and some of the longest lines of site in the game.
Sprint Burst is pretty much a requirement to not get hit doing half the Gens
-
Unfortunately, tunneling the weakest link is just a really effective strategy.
Because the generators really slow down once there are only three people. Since only one person can work on the gen when a teammate needs to be saved. So if you’re getting consistent hooks you pretty much halve gen progress
-
It feels super lame when you have a really productive game and the Killer singles you out right at the end.
My brain basically turn into a little kid screaming “ITS NOT FAIR!” when I realize I’m not save-able and I watch everyone else leave.
Especially since in red ranks you need every emblem point to pip. So sometimes the Silver emblem the Killer gave you from getting camped at the end is the deciding factor keeping you from ranking up so you feel robbed
-
Ghost Face usually can’t be revealed if you just stare at him because he’s juking behind cover.
You have to make him move by running away while looking at him or ducking to cover yourself.
-
Don’t use your power out if the open if you’re trying to stalk.
Always have cover nearby if you can see survivors. Because you can peak LOS by crouching or going around corners to prevent being uncloaked and still build up your stalk meter
-
@BigBrainMegMain Your Tracks would still be visible. And Killers would get used to the perk over time so they’d probably stay in the area and swing around in spots they thought you’d be. It only lasts five seconds.
Very similar to using quick and quiet in lockers. Wastes the Killer’s time but they usually figure it out eventually

Turning invisible would definitely cross the line into giving survivors magical powers, which isn't something we're looking to do.
Dead Hard does temporarily make you invulnerable though, so I think you've crossed that line before

ghostface is completely fine the only thing that needs fixing wich is something i already covered with a topic and by many people before me are the junky hitboxes to reveal him.
I think I'd rather just have it so if your survivor's model (not camera) is facing Ghostface for 1.5 seconds he gets revealed.
Puts the stealth in back in stealth killer. If someone is fully aware of where you are, but can't reveal him because hitboxes and LOS bugs exist that's always gonna be an issue
-
@Doctors More than 2 means 3 or 4 survivors with a perk. I don't think you read that right
-
@BigBrainMegMain I didn't change the aura reading. I changed the hit requirement

Or you know... just don’t slug 4head

I’m a survivor main because the characters are more relatable you know because they look like or in some cases ARE real people.
In case you’re wondering which Killers I play occasionally the answer is Legion and Freddy. Because they actually look like real people. Freddy is pretty scarred up but I’ve seen real people with burns that look similar
Also, I tend to be a Support main in games and survivor is the altruistic role
-
Looks real fishy. I don’t think any survivor perks would be over 50%.
Because it’s rare to see more than two survivors running the same perk even in Red Ranks (yes, even Decisive)
-
Killers can slow down gens and when they start slugging or things go wrong with saves. Often times only one or two people will actually stay on Gens.
Early game. Yeah gens can go fast. But once the Killer starts hooking or slugging the pace really slows down.
-
@Deadeye I played like 5-10 games with the build and got the improvement. Wasn’t a one time thing
I was already alright with skill checks and reliably hit Decisive. This just took me to a new level and built more muscle memory
-
I did my research and only bought survivors/killers that I thought had perks or gameplay I’d want. Plus, when you play the game enough and can get multiple perks per week with shards from the shrine (heck I’ve even bought all four perks on weeks when they’re really good).
There are plenty of “filler” survivors/killers that don’t have anything amazing so saying you have to spend $140 is kinda ridiculous.
The last two chapters have had nothing of value in my eyes and have been easy skips. Even though I have the shards and auric cells saved to buy them
-
Pretty accurate. I play Red Ranks and can confirm.
Kindred and Bond numbers are a little low but everything else checks out.

But why, I guess is the question. I don’t ever shame someone for NOED because it’s preventable, with gen speed how it is you can afford the extra couple minutes to find and cleanse all totems and then NOED never activates
Inner Strength is in pretty much every build I run. So I generally cleanse 2-3 totems per match. But it’s hard for me, as a solo queue player, to know if my teammates got the rest. Because it’s unreasonable for me to check all 20-30 spots just because I’m not sure if they’re all gone or I’m being blind since I’m not in a SWF group
-
Just from the title. I thought in my head. I don’t perk shame anyone... unless they have No ED

Most everyone I see just stacks all 3 second chance perks (DS, BT, Unbreakable), last spot for the Exhaustion.
I tend to see Decisive and Exhaustion perks. Everything else is up in the air really
-
@Papi Dedicated Hard. I love that lol
-
@Blueberry the good players must still be in green ranks from rank reset in that case. I see unbreakable like everyone third game in red ranks and its usually just one person
-
@Might_Oakk Believe me. We've all been there getting hit with the exhausted Dead Hard notification is par for the course. Kinda like getting hit through pallet stuns. But when Dead Hard works, its awesome. For me its like maybe 20% of the time when it gets dedicated so its more do-able
-
@arslaN said:
Or the killer easily baits the dead hard and the survivor goes down anyway.
Not a good replacement at all.
Dead Hard is one of the more balanced abilities in the game because the Killer has to swing. Whether or not you get faked out is your fault
-
@Nickeleye PC lol

Everyone, you should all keep in mind, this thread was made by the same guy who said, verbatim:
"NOED is overpowered" because "The perks to help survivors find dull totems aren't meta perks. If you don't use meta perks you don't win."
It's painfully obvious they are new to the game and don't have a handle on..well..any actual game knowledge yet.
I'd say "run kindred", but it's not meta. So he won't.
I literally say in the post I run Kindred. And I do every single match.
That's how I'm aware of the problem.
-
Hey at least the Killer gets the points for a Hook and Sacrifice.
Before they barely get anything when someone DCs
-
@NoShinyPony I feel personally attacked lol
-
Survivors with really bad unique perks because you’re betting on what they have unlocked, which sometimes isn’t a lot.
Steve, Tapp, Ace, Yui, Kate, Zarina etc.
-
It’s kinda shocking that Kindred and Bond aren’t used more. I use Kindred all the time in Red Ranks. The info is too useful
-
The Rift is a grind. But I play Daily and I've gotten to level 57 on it, so I'm definitely on track to finish.
I like that it feels earned instead of just pay to win. Makes the skins feel more special to me
-
The Game, Hawkins, Lerys and Shelter Woods. Just really small and confined feeling.
-
Someone had to say it.
Not doing gens or going for saves because you’re scared screws over the team. If you’re not gonna help the good of the team, don’t expect to win
-
@Auron471 Your acting like third seal is a good perk, it's not and needs a rework. Also, Vigil would counter Freddy because it removes the oblivious status, which seems fitting from Quentin's level 40 perk
-
No ED and Blood Warden. Least favorite perks to play against. They basically punish you for trying to be altruistic instead of just leaving, which isn’t really awesome.
Kindred and Alert. My favorites. They give you a lot of info on the Killer’s position so you can essentially never get surprised unless it’s a stealthy killer. Work smarter not harder lol
-
A sweaty nurse with add-ons in Red Ranks is pretty much a GG.
Nurse, Freddy, Spirit and Doctor flip the tables on the survivors because you have to adapt to their mind games. They have much more control over their chases and the survivors just have the option to react to the moves they make

Louder doesn't equal more people.
Obviously, because the majority of the playerbase is survivor and the killer mains tend to be common on the forums
-
@Blueberry I've played with For the People on PTB.
It's only useful to pick up dying teammates. And if the killer stays nearby when they down someone, you probably won't be able to get close without taking a hit (which deactivates the perk since you need to be full health to use it).
The only scenario For the People could be strong in is a SWF with teammates that will bodyblock the person with For the People so they can get in position without taking damage.
-
@Carpemortum Killers can have a faster bleed out timer so slugging games don't last as long.
Maybe reduce it by 60 seconds so the bleed out is 3 minutes total instead of 4 minutes
-
@Pulsar Respect for themselves that they don't currently have and much less people running DS
-
@NursesBootie said:
The main problem is, that the developers want to create perks with a powerlevel of the new "Hex: Ruin" and "For the people", but are too scared to nerf perks like DS or Nurses Calling.
You can't nerf Decisive unless you change gameplay mechanics to punish tunneling.
(i.e. a survivor being re-hooked within a minute doesn't advance their sacrifice progress)
-
Also, Blood Echo is very strong with Legion because it makes survivors spend even more time healing and guarantees chases where they can't use exhaustion perks
-
@StardustSpeedway Very similar ideas. I think everyone should run Bond, Aftercare or Kindred in solo queue. Being able to know what your teammates are doing is super important. Leader and Prove Thyself are both super nice too. Honestly, I think Dwight has one of the best perk sets in the game. He's one of the first survivors to prioritize leveling up.
-
@animalmak Might wanna invest in leveling up Nancy for Inner Strength if you have issues with healing. Once you learn the totem spots, its extremely reliable.
If your teammate bails after an unhook, hop in a locker and 8 seconds later you"re at full health again. Makes you way more self reliant
-

Quick question about inner strength. If I cleanse three totems does that mean I can heal myself in a locker three times as well or is Inner Strength just a one time perk?
You have to cleanse a totem every time. So find a totem to activate Inner Strength and when you use the perk to heal. You'll want to go hunt down a new totem to activate it again. There's no benefit to cleansing multiple totems before healing you can't build up charges
-
@kreeper124 Fixated is pretty good as well. +20% walking speed is great with exhaustion perks and seeing your scratch marks lets you make interesting stealth plays
