But you can interact with the killer, you're acting like you cant get any kind of hook trades happening at all when they're face camping. If i recall the only time that was ever a problem was when you could only unhook from one specific spot on hook. Do you never bring borrowed time cause that easily stops camping and always makes the killer have to go on another chase. Survivors seem like they dont want to give any kind of effort in game anymore.

I always run borrowed time but it still doesn’t help the person being hard tunneled and face camped since the killer will still go after then even with borrowed time. Also you can’t go for hook saves when it is a killer like bubba or billy or a huntress with iri head cause they just insta down you anyways. Bottom line is that these strategies are a problem and everyone knows it

Well if they want to get points in the emblem system then they need to interact with the killer. They cant just do gens and leave and expect to rank up, that's how you get red rank survivors that play like yellows. They can easily go to where the hooked person is and try to entice the killer away.

The problem is we can’t interact with the killer since he is face camping/hard tunneling one person. This is why camping and hard tunneling is a problem: it warps the entire game into a giant ######### fest where no one has fun and it prevent anyone from piping or even learning how to be better at the game. The devs say it’s fine but that honesty just show how incompetent they are when almost everybody understand how it’s an issue and all beg for it to be fixed.

  • @Practical said:

    @Hektic3000 is correct.

It's sad, but it's true. It's hard, but it's fair. I would suggest that Survivors choose to rush gens while the Killer is wasting his/her/their time face-camping.

If you read my post I did point out that the games where the killer did this 3 people escaped. The problem is they didn’t see the killer at all so the game is just not fun for anyone at that point. It also screws your emblems over too

  • @Hektic3000 said:

There is no problem, this is how the game has been for a while. The dev's have said that camping and tunneling aren't problems or ban-able offenses. To stop yourself from getting camped you should hide better and not get found first. To help teammates from campers you should bring borrowed time and maybe put yourself in a position to take pressure off teammates. The killer only has 4 survivors to chase so there's a 25% chance that could be you, getting the game from a 4v1 to a 3v1 is always the best play a killer can make. Sometimes its not even the killers fault but its your teammates for making un-safe unhooks.

It is a problem when almost every killer is doing it and you forget that you can rely on your teammates because solo queue is absolute garbage right now. Also even if the devs said it’s fine a long time a go doesn’t mean it actually is, the devs are just wrong saying they aren’t problems.

    Bruh.

I'm always mindblown by how incredibly entitled and without a shred of selfawarness survivor mains can be.

Want to know my experience as killer main since Trickster dropped?

EACH and EVERYONE of my game, with a SINGLE EXCEPTION has been against premades in full ultra sweaty mode... against me, playing the weakest killer to ever graced the face of the game on his day of release with a potato build because the bloodweb is a scam.

And how do they act against a CLEARLY struggling killer?

    They BM. ALL THE WAY.

I got the usual "let's swarm and bully the killer" that then act all offended when I react buy playign defensivly on a hook (ofc course calling it face camping, because GOD FORBID I stay next to a hook when I can CLEARLY SEE THEM ALL around me.

I got 3 time survivors that "stay hidden until the very last second of the collapse just to wast my time, and of course bragging about it in chat afterward.

Hell, even the very few times where I manage to gain the advantage and have a single survivor get out (mostly because I'm facing potatoes thanks to my elo reaching the negative) I got shittalked to hell and bad, telling me HOW BAD I AM for letting one survivor get away.

So please, GTFO with your whining okay? Because I to play survivors (quite a lot actually since it's the mod I play when I dont want to have to stress about the bullshit you have to deal when playing killer) and I know from experience that survivors have it way, WAY, WAAAAAAAAAAAAY easier than killers, and if you don't know that it's probably that have zero experience with the other side of the game.

I am a rank 1 survivor and a rank 3 killer and I can tell you 100% the game is only survivor sided if you are in a 4 man swf. Solo queue is miserable for survivors and honestly I prefer to play against 4 man swfs as killer then doing solo queue survivor any day because I have more of a chance as killer then as a solo queue survivor. Yes going against a swf sucks but solo queue is just so much worse and the fact that these killers are acting like such babies and acting so entitled lately makes it that much worse

  • @Marigoria said:

Then if it's a team game, the game should reward you for acting like a team instead of the opposite, which a lot of times it does

The problem there are things in this game that actively encourage playing selfishly. NOED is probably the biggest example of this as it encourages people to just escape instead of trying to save their teammates.

  • How is that funny when I’m being completely serious. If you have to stoop so low as to accuse people of having multiple accounts just because you don’t agree with them then I feel really bad for you because you probably have some kind of mental problem

  • ? I have actually no idea what you are talking about. If you want to call me a liar go ahead but that will only reflect badly on you since I’m telling the truth and have 0 reason to make multiple accounts.

  • @Kellie said:

Why the hell has there been such an influx of tunneling and camping threads?

Because it’s a problem that the devs refuse to deal with. They think this game is survivor sided because of the 1% of the time killers go up against swfs when in reality in 99% of games it is extremely killer sided since solo q sucks.

  • @EvanSnowWolf said:

Why is it the game is always dying because of toxic strategies that KILLERS use?

Why is it that there is no such thing as a toxic Survivor strategy?

There are more toxic killer strategies then toxic survivor strategies and the survivors ones don’t outright prevent you from playing the game.

  • @SeasonedHunter said:

I'm not arguing, being tunneled and face camped is not fun, but really what do you want them to do? They have tried a lot of different things already. Perks, killer powers, hurt you in ranking up. The fact is that short of making it impossible for the killer to get anywhere near the hook until the survivor is unhooked anyone who want to play that way will. It sucks but really nothing anyone can do about it.

What they could do is make is harder for survivors to de pip that way when I do 3 damn gens and loop the killer only to get face camped when I go down I don’t de pip because the game think I played poorly for some reason.

He only has 14 posts to be fair. As all they are is whining, believe it's time he just gives up and finds another game

We have too many people who have no business in this game and he looks like one of them.

I’m literally a rank 1 survivor and rank 3 killer that has played this game for almost 2 years and this is the one damn issue I have with the game. Sorry that I want the biggest issue with the game I have sunk hundreds of hours into solved that way I can fully enjoy this game.

  • @FrenziedRoach said:

Just check out these graphs over the lifetime of the game!

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/MHODZZOHDX5K/image.png

    This game is totally dying

BTW... I'm joking in case you haven't figured out. But you folks need to stop this "it's killing the game" argument because if camping and tunneling was going to kill this game, it would of done so by now.

It peaks as new content comes out or they have a free weekend, then it drops down to it's average of between 20k to 40k depending on what region is playing.

I'll leave everybody else to explain all the reasons why you need to GET GUD

BTW, so you can't accuse me of doctoring the picture, here's the source.https://steamcharts.com/app/381210#All

I never said it’s killing the game, I said its ruining the game and there is a difference. Camping and hard tunneling ruins the game for a lot of people but they don’t quit because they still find the game fun when they are not tunneled and camped. Also almost everyone I have recommended this game to has refused to play it because of these issues. They refuse to even try it because they have heard about face camping and hard tunneling and are disgusted that it is in the game so they don’t want to try it. So many more people would not only try the game for the first time but a lot of players that quit would also come back if these issues were addressed. It benefits almost everyone if camping and hard tunneling are removed yet the devs don’t do anything about it.

Should there be a system in place for gen rushing to be punished slightly? Like it’s already insane how quick gens go and I know there are perks that can slow them down somewhat but still. Just had a match with a SWF team who just huddled together and was able to do 3 gens before I could even do anything. If they were that desperate to leave the match and not interact with me then go on. Get out of my game.

Honestly I’m not sure what can be done about the gen rushing. Perks help but not much. I was thinking that the game should penalize at least 3 survivors working on a gen together. Perhaps making the entity stop them and wait a bit then let them go back to doing the gen unless it’s still 3 people working on it. Not sure about that but I’m open to options. Even just one survivor working on a gen goes insanely fast.

As long as we get a system that punished camping and hard tunneling too. You don’t nerf one sides toxic strategies without nerfing the other sides too.

  • @Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:

Count how many times you've seen it: you see someone running to the guy you hooked and you quickly close in, and they pull the dude off. You were already planning on ignoring the dude who just got unhooked, because of BT or DS or ethics or whatever and start running after the unhooker, but the unhooked guy immediately runs into your face and tries to bodyblock you.

Because we can't let that free hit go to waste, can we?

It's dumb. It's real dumb and it makes no sense. I run BT every game because in some situations that's just the only way they're ever going to make it out, even if I have to die for it, but I hate it when I see the guy I just unhooked immediately try to headbutt the killer.

I run that so he won't pay attention to you, dumbass, stop making him wonder if he should just tunnel you to death out of spite.

I say that if the hit counts as a protection hit, it ignores BT and downs them anyway. Maybe with a grace period of a second or two after the unhook, but after that, if you try to bodyblock for your buddy, eat the dirt.

It'll encourage people to split, at least.

I don’t agree with this at all tbh. Survivors already have limited ways to end chases and get away from the killer considering how fast killers are and how many perk they have to end chases super quick. We need things like bt in order to have a chance to get away.

  • @Cheeki_Beaky_Bird said:

The killer is directly punished for face camping, it hurts their chaser rank emblem.

The killer is punished for hard tunneling: Any sensible survivors complete gens (3 or more) right at the start of the game if this is done, which harms their gatekeeper rank.

WDYM 'fixing gen speeds for survivors'? Are you saying they should be slower or something?

personally I don’t think gen speeds should be slower but a lot of killer mains complain about how fast they are right now and if something is going to be done about camping and hard tunneling since survivors hate those things just as much as killers hate gen speeds then gen speeds should be slightly slower that way both sides get hit and a majority of people won’t complain

  • @gemjas said:

How would you punish killers? There's no way to accurately tell if a killer is camping to BM vs camping because another survivor decided to loop near the hook or it's a last resort to secure a kill. How would the game tell if a killer is tunneling to BM vs a killer who leaves to hook, can't find anyone else, and goes back to the hook only to find the recently hooked survivor because the unhooker decided to hide? And gen speeds? It is incredibly boring to sit there and fix a gen. Making them even more tedious to do isn't the answer.

Idk how they would do it but the bottom line is camping and hard tunneling need to go and the killer mains claim they play like that because gen speeds are too fast so increase them a little bit in order to appease them.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/235225/hard-tunneling-and-camping-need-to-go

Perhaps you're getting hard tunnelled and facecamped because you have a key? I'll be honest as a Killer main if you have a key and its a toss between hitting you or another survivor im going for you. And if you key swap last minute in the lobby i will hard tunnel you straight out the game even if the other 3 survive. You bringing a key ruins my fun so I'd say I'm entitled to ruin yours

I bring a key because a lot of survivors try to save the face camped or tunneled player and then they get downed for it and get camped after the other guy dies. If someone is getting face camped or tunneled you have to play super selfishly in order to escape and a lot of people (myself included) don’t like to play that way. I bring a key because if my teammates don’t play selfishly then they will all go down and get camped 1 by 1 so I need an out. If face camping and tunneling wasn’t so common I would never bring a key not to mention I think keys do need to be changed I just think face camping and tunneling does as well

  • @QwQw said:

Your complaining about tunneling and yet you bring a key?

Strange stuff how come some of the best killer players lose games, because gens and everything go to fast if they don't run a little bit of slowdown? Survivors are awarded a lot of 2nd chance perks for failure. Not because of good plays or anything. Until they address the 2nd chance perks I don't see why survivors should complain about face camping or tunneling. I'm one of the best clown players in the world, and I can't even stop all gens from being done even though my average chase is 20 seconds long explain that.

Killers get plenty of ######### perks too: NOED, BBQ, and Pop goes the weasel. Again I’m not saying survivors aren’t op because they are. I just want the devs to fix both sides and not just screw over one

  • @RoachesDelight said:

Idk I play solo survivor and something just seems different lately. The gens are flying and getting done faster than ever (not saying anything has been changed) and even the hexes are getting found so fast which leaves the killer with little to no gen defense other than pushing survivors off a gen and even then you can only chase one person at a time and the others including myself will finish off the gen in your face. As annoying as it is I get why killers do it, it's because it works and it's effective. Face camping not really that's kind of pointless and stupid to me but tunneling yeah I get it.

I feel sorry for people who play killer in the current state of the game sometimes. Even when I play killer and focus on pressuring gens they still fly most of the time. I truly think if killers had more gen defense, for example if Ruin was buffed from a hex to a regular perk they probably wouldn't feel as much of a need to tunnel. As for the face camping people just do that to get on your nerves.

Not trying to be rude but you kinda need to just deal with it and get over it and learn to see the game from both sides perspective and try understand why killers or survivors do certain things that may be frowned upon.

I get why killers do it but it pisses me off to see that killer mains want survivors to be nerfed even more while not even touching their toxic strategies. The devs need to balance both sides not just one or the other

  • @Dingo88 said:

How easy do you want the game to be. Holy crap Iv seen three gens popping before I get my ass over the other side of the map to stop it only way to stop that is run meta perks and it's boring as hell I don't want to have to run ruin undying every game.

And don't even get me started on the ammount of downs I should have had with the blood splatters and noise of a hit with a hatchet but oh they have DH so get away with it even tho it was a clear hit .

And the ammount of games I ran into today where it bodyblocking toxic twatts.

Plus I think the devs have bigger things to fix mate so just stop moaning and play if a killer truely is facecamping then it's a easy escape as the killer ain't patrolling gens. And he only gets one kill

Then fix both gen speeds and toxic killer strategies.

  • @Yumyumtasty said:

i don't see how YOUR key helps YOU when you get face camped. Your teammates have to do less gens yeah but they'll escape anyways against a facecamper if they just do gens.

It’s not just me getting face camped or hard tunneled. If I’m against a killer like that and I’m not the one it’s happening to I can get gens done and in the event that they rest of my team gets tunneled and face camped and I’m the last one alive I can still get out even if the hatch gets closed. This is my best strategy against killers like this: be selfish and only play to survive. I don’t want to play like this but I am forced to almost every game because killers like this are so common and the devs refuse to fix the problem since killer mains have them at gunpoint or some #########.

It just becomes more unfair for killers when they go against Swf because they just tell their friends everything that's happening or they encourage them to gen rush more. This game is already survivor sided and it just becomes more and more frustrating by the minute when I have to got these types of players.

And yes, I would rather wait twice the amount of time for a lobby just so it isn't a Swf team.

So how would you do it without railroading the game and losing complexity. I've seen a lot of ideas but all of them are either too restrictive thus making the game restrictive and less complex or too soft and it does nothing so people will still complain.

One way is making it slightly harder to depip. The most frustrating part about being face camped or hard tunneled is that fact even if you played well ( for example a game I played recently where I got done 3 gens, cleansed the hex totem, and rescued 2 hooked survivors) you can still easily depip if the killer camps you.

  • Survivors get ######### by bad hit reg too despite what you say. I have gotten hit through walls and around corners so many times it is unreal. It needs to be fixed for both sides

  • @dezzmont said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2007045#Comment_2007045

Its a bad case of the cure being worse than the disease though.

Face camping 'self corrects' at least rank wise: it isn't gunna happen and seriously affect matches outside gutter ranks or you being so odious the killer decides to throw the match for ya (like say... bringing a key). So you generally have control over it not happening by just... playing well consistently.

Meanwhile the devs have talked about further anti-camping stuff and said flat out they aren't ever going to do it because it breaks the game too much if the killer is even a little bit punished for defending the hook outside of tempo loss, because an insta-unhook is the worst case scenario for the killer. So even stuff like 'It doesn't trigger in a chase' doesn't work cuz someone can just sit near the hook hiding and punish you even if you know they are there just because you can't chase them quickly.

I do agree that "Policy Facecamp" is a problem... but its a problem in the same way that say... DPS Moria is a problem in Overwatch... like yeah its not ideal but doing stuff to punish the character for sometimes fighting or using DPS ball rather than heal ball kinda... breaks the character and the healer role because she actually DOES need to fight quite often.

If we are looking for clear problems with easy solutions that do nothing but make DBD worse we got a lot of places to start before the relatively rare and contained issue that is facecamping.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2007056#Comment_2007056

    What rank are you?

I’m rank 8 currently just deranked from rank 7 thanks to a face camping hag and huntress back to back

  • @dezzmont said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2007013#Comment_2007013

Survivors are a classic example 'you think you want that but you don't.'

If survivors had their way, camping would be impossible, there would be no player elimination, and survivors would share hook states so that they couldn't be tunneled. Oh and they would have even more tools to mess with the killer.

They made that game, it was called Deathgarden, and not only was it miserable for the hunters, survivors got really bored really fast because, as it turns out, reducing the variance of consiquences from being hooked from 'lose 1 of 3 hook states' to 'lose the game from your team' to just 'lose 1 of 3 hook states' made the game really flat because every match felt exactly the same and chases lost all tension.

DBD NEEDS losing chases as survivors to not feel good in order for the REST of the game to have tension. DBD is, ultimately, a pretty boring game when you just look at the core mechanics: Hold M1 on a gen, run in a circle around these objects. It only is fun in the context that failing to say... anticipate and track the killer while holding M1 is really bad, or getting the chance to hold M1 for a long time is really rare because the killer has enough map pressure, or when running in circles even a LITTLE bit wrong may end the game then and there because of a snowball. Without that tension the game... isn't even a game, which is why "M1 simulator" was such a common complaint and survivors wanted fancier objectives back when vacuum pallets were added and survivors basically COULDN'T lose chases.

This isn't to say survivors should be helpless or feel powerless: They are survivors, not victims. Its just DBD is made a better game when you need to seize survival from the killer by any means necessary rather than being allowed to assume minimum consequences for any action.

Game would be dead if they tried to remove everything considered toxic. It would be an extremely railroaded game with very little depth.

Not really. Just punish face camping and hard tunneling and give killers a blood point bound or something for playing against swfs. That’s all the really needs to be done

  • Seems like a lot of people don’t know this because I the forums constantly crying and begging for survivors to be nerfed 1000 times and swfs nerfed or removed but every time someone says to nerf or stop face campers, hard tunnelers or sluggers it’s just constant hate and people trying to say those strategies are perfectly fine and non toxic.

It's entirely discouraging. Frankly, of all the times I've stopped playing, it was because of the killer role and survivor toxicity.

The devs need to remove toxic strategies from both the killer and the survivors. Catering to one side will not solve the problem.

    http://www.sirlin.net/ptw-book/introducingthe-scrub

So why is everyone trying to get swf removed or nerfed then? It’s a game mechanic as well. If killers get to abuse toxic game mechanics then survivors should too.

They remain untouched because BHVR values player agency. I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing, but they do. BHVR see's them as completely viable strategies. Are they fun? No. Doesn't matter, they're still still strategies none the less.

Well teaming up as survivors is a strategy too but most people want swfs to be removed or have a massive downside to it yet the toxic killer strategies are seen as perfectly fine. The community is very hypocritical and that is a huge problem

I mean my main problem with it is because of the matchmaking and imbalance between solo Q and SWF, it’s like such a slap in the face. You get like 10 potato squads in a row and then you face seal team 6 out of nowhere.

At least if it was consistent it would be a little less unexpected to get rolled in ~4 minutes when you are screwing around playing clown or something

Swf has to exist because toxic killer strategies like face camping and hard tunneling exist. The devs need to deal with all these toxic strategies on both the killer side and survivor side

  • @Mineguy said:

Why does this thing exist? You get out for doing nothing but having good luck. It's so stupid, I played a match right with a blendette who did nothing then hide the round.

Hatch exists because killers also have super toxic strategies they can use. As long as face camping and hard tunneling are in the game and not discouraged the hatch and other toxic survivor stratagies get to stay too.

Honesty I believe that gens should immediately be regressed by 5% every time you kick them.

This would stop gen tapping and it would buff base regression, either that or always give survivors a skillcheck when they start repairing a regressing generator.

what do u think about gen tapping?

How about we don’t nerf survivors more? This game is very killer sided out side of swf and killers have multiple extremely toxic strategies they can abuse. What needs to happen is a rebalance of both killers and survivors.

If your being tunneled and face camped to death 4 games in a row I have a question or two.

1: How good are you at looping/routing?

2: Did you do something to piss off the killer?

3: Have you tried NOT being seen? Just a thought. If your running into a lot of face camping killers perhaps you won't be the one to get face camped if your not the first one found.

If this game had real competition it wouldn't be a competition at all. Most of the player basis would migrate. Like when a new MMO comes out and there's an exodus of veteran players because they've done everything in this game.

    1. I would say I’m pretty decent at looping and routing
    2. I never try to piss off killers. I just try to play the game normally and escape.
    3. Stealth is my favorite part of this game and I always try to hide and not be seen if the killer is near

I have had killers flat out ignore my teammates doing gens and even opening exit gates to just chase me down and face camp me in multiple games today and quite a bit the last few week. It’s just so frustrating to play against and I am so close to quitting because of it

  • @Kellie said:

Theres always other games, also you sure you didn't be toxic towards the killer before you got facecamped?

I’m not toxic at all when I play. I’m gonna miss playing this game because it is so fun when this kinda ######### doesn’t happen but it’s just too common lately. Gonna be trying out some more single player games in the meantime though. Still gotta beat hollow knight so might as well do that

So, I’m gonna assume that you’re not antagonizing the killer, right? You’re not teabagging, flashlight clicking, etc, etc?

Because if you are, you reap what you sow. Just being honest with ya. If you irritate the killer, gotta be prepared for the consequences.

That said, if you’re not, not sure what to tell ya. I don’t run into it too often, really. Every now and again, sure, but not every game.

I don’t antagonize the killer at all. I just try to play normally and that’s it. It’s so common lately it’s unreal. My friends have even started making bets whenever we play about how much I will get targeted that’s how often is has been happening.

    Hey guys,

well the title already says it. Do you guys think keys are still or were ever balanced?

At least for me I got the feeling a lot more escapes via key are happening atm especially since u can now control where the hatch spawns in the match via offering. You can bring the counter offering as a killer yeah but those aren't that common so that you would be able to bring them every match. Some survivors I encountered ran builds centered around an escape via hatch which shortened the matches even more. Also I've seen Otz literary lose his plague streak to the same strat where they just did the gens they had to and then escaped via key

Should the devs look at this or do you guys say that keys are still fine?

    Merry christmas everyone :3

I don’t think keys are balanced but with how screwed hitboxes are atm and how much survivors are getting nerfed they feel like a necessary evil in order to even attempt to win a game as survivor

It is because you are new and thus the Killers you are facing are also new. New Killers get "tunnel vision" and become pretty much unaware of everything but whomever they are chasing. They don't know how to break off chases or when. They only know that eventually the speed difference will let them catch up. Until you get better at looping (and there are some great videos on it on youtube) you probably want to be a bit of a hide-and-seek evader. Try not to get seen in the first place. Bear in mind, I DO NOT mean crouch around the entire map doing nothing. You need to be working those Generators.

    Here are few helpful tips:

    1. Don't run everywhere as you leave red marks that the Killer will see from a distance and/or follow.
    2. Don't crouch everywhere as it will take too long to get from point A to B.
    3. Walk when you can, crouch when you must, and run when it is important or safe. *Yes it takes time to learn which.
    4. Remember that you can, due to the 3rd Person viewpoint see around the terrain you hide behind. Center yourself fully behind that large terrain so you don't give yourself away when the Killer is near.
    5. Try to avoid disturbing the Crows or take Calm Spirit.
    6. If two of you are on a Generator and you know the Killer is approaching, walk the opposite direction from where the other Survivor runs off to. And get behind terrain. Chances are the Killer will see the other Survivor running and/or pick up their red trail. If they move off you can get away safely, or even get back on that Generator if the Killer chases off.
    7. If you do get spotted, at a distance, run until out of line of sight and then walk at a crossroads area so the Killer when they come around the corner won't know which way you went. Go a short distance so they can't see your trail and then run again. Often if you do a crossroads and can double back with a little circle by walking you buy the most time.
    8. Keep your head on a swivel. This should have been near the top of the list. Even if the Killer has a heartbeat, it is a good idea to spot an approaching Killer before you get their terror radius. The longer your head start the better and the easier it will be to run and walk and lose them before the chase even begins.
    9. If the Killer is trailing you and has lost line of sight, remember to stop running before you vault so you don't give away your direction with the explosive noise you make. A crossroads, like I spoke about earlier might include areas of terrain, a vault going another direction, a building ahead. You want to make that Killer go huh?
    10. Learn to tell an unsafe pallet from a safe one, and a God pallet. When you are hiding you want to always know where you mean to run (your options) in case the Killer spots you or plain old bad luck bring him/her directly toward you. If you already have your escape route mapped in your head, you will lose less time.

New Players (Potatoes being the vernacular for them) waste a lot of time hiding. If you aren't hiding, then the Killer tends to spot you FIRST and then begins that long, silly chase. So you need adopt some hiding and effective evading until you learn to loop. Or you can just keep getting in those chases and you will learn to Loop the hard but effective way.

Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it. Will definitely take a look at those looping videos on YouTube as well. If you don’t mind do you have any specific tips for going against huntress and ghostface? These two killers screw me more then any other more so huntress then anything since I see her so often

  • @Asssblasster625 said:

The gen thing is understandable I wouldn’t drop a chase for that, but how many times were you injured during these chases

I don’t get injured too often during chases except if I’m against the huntress. For the life of me I suck against her but most other killers I tend to not get injured and they just end up chasing me the entire match until the gens are done or I get downed and then facecamped
