Y'all clearly don't understand what Doctor is about when you talk about him that way. He "spams" you with his ability because that's what denies you the pallet drop or the window vault. You can drop the pallet early, making him take way longer to get you, or keep running to the next loop when he first goes for his shock.
-
It's impossible to communicate respect with what we have in-match. It has to be in the post-game chat.
-
Just spam regression perks because the devs have made it to where not only do you need them just to play the game normally, but they're also better than chase perks most of the time.

PH is SSS-tier in chases, so no need to pick more. His power makes loops nonexistent.
It's not that crazy. Why isn't this understand gem played in tournaments then?

Coolest is Trickster's. Scariest is Blight's. Worst is Leatherface's.

Window into window into god pallet into god pallet.

Closed maps are better for almost any killer since most survivors struggle to find a generator, it' like having a free corrupt intervention...so I guess having more pallets is to compensate for the lost time...
Gens aren't that hard to find on any map. Even thinking about proper spacing of the gens is all it takes. If that's not enough, there's a perk called Visionary, as well as maps.

Yeah, lotta Killers will get salty if they can't catch a Survivor.
But hell, if they can't even do it with Bloodlust, that's on them.
What about at god pallets?

I don't have any. It's childish.

Right!!! but they should understand that even killers are subject to gravity! if a survivor launches from above and staggers, this should happen to the killer too!
If killers suffered from falls like survivors, it would fundamentally destroy the killer role. Most if not all maps have a place to drop from. So if a survivor has Balanced, god forbid most of them have it, the killer will take an extremely long amount of time to catch up to that survivor, because they get a sprint burst and the killer gets dead stopped. And killers are supposed to be supernaturally strong. It doesn't make any sense for them to be staggered at the bottom of a fall like survivors.

Thats not even true.
Yes it is. Experienced PC players can hit great skill checks virtually 100% of the time, but experienced console players have to settle with goods a lot of the time or risk blowing up the gen. The skill checks don't stutter as much as they used to, but they're still worse on console than on PC. L1 is not a precise button to be hit at an exact moment, at least when compared to a mouse button or a key, and even if you changed it to another button there's pretty much no console buttons that are extremely responsive. There's a lot of "oh, I pressed it too lightly so it didn't register" or "I pressed it harder this time but I still hit a good instead of a great because I took that extra 1/4 second to make sure I applied the right amount of force to the button".
Unnerving Presence funnily enough makes me hit greats more consistently because the great area makes up like half of the entire smaller skill check. But beyond that, I can expect a lot of missed skill checks and good skill checks, when I'm clearly trying to be as accurate and perfectly timed as possible with my button presses so I can get the great.

I definitely said in one of my posts that I don't think he's OP and that I don't have a general problem going against him. People were nice enough to still offer me some more tips that generally might help me do better against him, but for me unfun doesn't mean those things. Maybe next time don't make an assumption if the original post is so vague to you.
Don't make it so vague.

I have a problem with the i-frames. It doesn't matter if a hatchet goes through your body or whatever. You're just invincible because you pressed a button.

Killers would complain about any survivor perk. They complained about bl and devs killed it, so now everyone use dh. If devs nerf dh everyone will use sb, and killers would complain about it
They didn't kill Balanced. They made it more reasonable, because you shouldn't get a reduced fall after you've already used the sprint burst and are exhausted.

??? Are you mad about something? I haven't mentioned anything about my teammmates not doing gens. Am I not allowed to post about how a killer is unfun for me? Yikes.
Unfun in this community usually translates to "unfair" or "uncounterable". And you didn't really explain why he's so hard for you to go against, so that was my assumption.

Last gen is kinda ######### if I’m being honest. It’ll only be a matter of time before optimisation just isn’t possible for bhvr
They have had the time and resources to optimize last gen consoles. They just haven't done it.

The skill checks become too hard for console players but still too easy for PC players.
-
You get 3 sprint bursts from his tentacle attack, you can cure yourself, you can stun and kill zombies, you can mindgame him and make him cancel his tentacle attack like a Huntress hatchet. What do you have to complain about? Teammates not doing gens isn't the killer's fault.
-
Now imagine dealing with that AND freezes on the console version.

So the game doesn’t last 30 minutes, it’s silly
You know what, just add a 20-minute match limit. It works for Friday the 13th.
-
Make fov a slider for killer and let them see individual survivor hooks.
-
No.
-
@WexlerWendigo said:
Does it though? Is it really a big deal if you get a 3k or a 4k? The game would be much better if the killer didn’t slug for 10 minutes to get a 4k
The kill is basically ours. Why do we have to forfeit it so that the last survivor can get a free escape?
-
Because Myers' M1 is infinitely easier to land than a chainsaw hit that easily misses and bumps into things.

Experienced as in knows all about the killer and can answer General/specific in depth, I don't just want one word answers, people need to learn from what you say.
Because of the recent update's effect on console, I'm playing less now, but before that I was maining Hag. I also mained Trapper for a while. I have just under 2000 hours played. My Discord is danielmaster87#5978

She's fun to play as and go against. You set up traps for snowball potential later. You disrupt her placing traps and get her to chase you. I think it just comes down to people not liking the change of playstyle, similar to Spirit.

Pop Goes The Weasel.

She's simply not as easy or as strong as you've heard. She's not in her power all the time, so until she gets it back she's a 110% killer. People will use Iron Will against you; remember who has it and who doesn't. If you hear footsteps/injured sounds and you stop hearing them while phasing, stop or back up and you'll probably find them easier. If you try to do too many big mindgames guessing where they're gonna run, they'll see it and they'll mindgame you instead. Remember you can use the stand still/terror radius mindgames. For example, you'll be facing away from a gen when you start phasing, but in reality when that survivor who is still there starts working on the gen, you'll hear it and you can grab them. That's about all I got.
-
I'm also angry that her costume is paid only whereas the others are ftp.
-
How experienced are we talking? Do you want an hours played range?
-
The map is in rotation, but it's 1 variation so it's rare. But yes, do fix the horrible lag so that we're not fighting against our opponents as well as the game.
-
You can't really say tunneling is a counter to shift w. It's something that you do anyway assuming you're in a bad spot. The only way to counter shift w in my experience is to have a high mobility killer, or leave that survivor and hope that the others don't shift w as well.

What's the big deal with people leaving? It's a video game, why take it all so serious and panic over it? Video games are all fake and just make you think you are doing something by hitting your dopamine or whatever to make you feel happy and when you rely on having a balanced game and winning to get fun out of it you're just at the mercy of the game, so when the game is unbalanced or broken, and take so much work to win that the happy juice you get from winning isn't enough to justify the work you need to stop taking video games so seriously.
This game is meant to be played with 4 survivors and 1 killer. It's why I don't press ready in F13th until we have 8 people in lobby, because that game is based around a full lobby as well. Any less players than the max amount, and the match just becomes so screwed. You don't have fun because you could have easily won the match had that 1 guy not been selfish and DC'd. Now you're in an uphill battle which you'll probably lose anyway because the game is meant to be a 4v1, not 3v1. How do y'all not get this?
-
Self-care.
-
I don't get anxious from not having Spine Chill, but I feel blind/naked without it. I always run it. It's so much more comforting to know when a killer is looking at you, because you can tell if they're just around you while you're on the gen, or coming straight to you.

Idk about that. You can't read when she is in it, about to come out, nor read which way she is going.
She can bait a chase and just decide to go back to the hook. With no warning
Excuse the whataboutism, but people complain about Spirit not giving information yet say that Iron Will is just fine.

I try to spread my bp over all of my characters. Right now, I'm actually running out of stuff to spend bp on. Let my explain. I aim to eventually P3 everyone, but before each time I prestige, I try to use up all of the stuff that I've spent bp on. Items, add-ons, and offerings. If there's something useless or something I don't like to use (Speed Limiter for Hillbilly, Adrenaline Vial for Blight, blueprint for toolboxes, those bottles that slightly lessen the mist, etc) I won't use them and will prestige when I've used up everything else. A while back though, I wanted to P3 a character, and I chose Trapper to be that character. So I played hours and hours and hours of him, used up all his stuff, and THEN once he was P3, spent the bp to give him all the killer perks. I was hoping to do the same with other killers like Blight, but this update screwed the game up for us console plebs.
If there's a specific perk you want for a character, just put bp into them until you get it. If you want to give a character all perks and then prestige them, you can do that too even though that's a waste of time and bp to me. If you play only 1 character, by all means put all your bp into them. My personal suggestion though would be to put bp into everyone, getting them all to at least lvl 50, just in case you ever decided to play with them.

Good idea. We'll see about execution though, if it does happen.

You're confusing OP and annoying. The zombies are obviously not OP. They are damn annoying though.
You'd be surprised. People think that zombies are OP simply because of the idea that "Now we have to deal with a killer AND zombies?!" "It's too much!" If the zombies had 2 speed add-ons at base and weren't stupid, then maybe I'd agree, but these guys are ridiculous in their zombie takes.
-
@Fornicaras said:
No. They aren't going to universally make queues longer because you blame your lack of skill on a non-existent disadvantage.
It's different control schemes. There's always going to be a disadvantage.
-
The only thing unfair about Spirit is her stand-still mindgame. Other than that, she's at the power level that all other killers need to be at.
-
The zombies are not too much for survivors to handle. I've seen how "OP" they are firsthand.
-
Not very good without it, is she?
-
Because people feel like talking about it. It's an issue that needs solving.

I can say the same, switching "survivors" with "killer", and it will have the same amount of argumentation in it.
Except that you'd be wrong. You can feel it, playing killer. There's just something inherently weak about them.
20 second chases too slow? No. Kicking gens doing nothing? Naw. Being forced to run slowdown perks? Get outta here. I'm just making this all up I guess.

Yup.
Saloon - a small map with two thirds of the area being one continuous dead zone and with one easily seen lane in the middle, where all the gens can be patrolled with no effort. The most killer sided map in the game so far.
Hawkins - indoors map where you can waste a lot of time before finding a gen. Killer-sided unless the killer is a nurse/billy/huntress. All pallets save for a couple are jokes.
School - straight hallways with nowhere to run or to hide, you have to jump into classrooms hoping there is a pallet there. Finding a gen takes longer than mastering Nurse.
Swamp - Deadzone: The Map.
The game: easy to get lost, takes forever to find a gen, never can tell whether the killer is on your floor or on the other one, since the heartbeat doesn't distinguish the Z axis.
Azarov - 3-gen: The Map.
Ormond - small, the pallets are jokes, half of the tiles are deadzone.
I missed some maps from the old rotations, which have a lot of forest tiles in it (ie dead zones), don't remember the names. Those are not pleasant for survivors either.
Survivors have more than enough resources in each and every map to trump anything the killer does. If they lose, that's on them. The killer's never in control.

Can't tell if you are serious or just being sarcastic, but here it is:
- Dead Dawg Saloon
- Hawkins National Laboratory
- Midwich Elementary School
- Backwater Swamp
- The Game
- Azarov's Resting Place
- Ormond (after the rework)
You're telling me any killer can succeed, easily, on those maps?

Old Myers when he first came out could stalk multiple survivors at once making for some fast tier ups early game if he caught multiple people out
And just why is that not a thing anymore?
