  • It does get frustrating, I came back recently after not playing for a year or two, first game back was called all sorts of names in end game chat, all I got was a 2k, didnt tunnel all game, just camped end game hook once doors were open and I had no chance of getting the other person(I had run the 3rd guy out the gate). The survivors definitely seem to quote the killer rulebook(as written by survivors) quite a lot. Im not playing to ruin peoples games, but I also want to rank up, which requires me to not always let you off with chances.

  • Myers is a low tier m1 killer, his insta downs require more effort than most others. The addon is fine in his current state, personally I don't think it should ever be removed as its thematically fitting for him, maybe reworked a bit if he gets a rework though. But in his current state, no way.

  • If you like Pig, I would recommend watching CM.Winter on twitch. Dude pretty much only plays Pig and is probably the best pig player out there.

  • I mean watch CM.Winter if you think Pig is so terrible. The dude holds most of the win records and 4ks over 90% of games at rank 1 in EU. I would argue that Pig just takes much more skill and awareness than most other killers.

  • Anything that reduces spirit being played in my games is a win.

A Ghostface doubt a lot, it really depends on the type of Ghostface that uses addons to avoid revelation or closed maps. Else is stronger than Myers in terms of stalking, and is more direct in leaving a survivor vulnerable, but Spine Chill leaves stalkers in lower tiers.

They really need to edit spine chill to not hard rip on people in undetectable status, like maybe half the range for undetectable so they get less warning or something. Hurts GF a lot being spine chilled when creeping a gen.

  • Ghost Face is a fun killer in general. I can be losing and still enjoy him. However he stomps most ranks except the top 4-5.

Few tips from my time playing him:

    • when looping a survivor on a downed pallet thats high enough to crouch, crouch and pop stealth when walking one way. You can then just sit there for a second or two and just like Spirit they will generally jump the pallet and you quick pop out for the hit. Landed so many hits mind gaming people with that.
    • At the start line up the survivor with the name so you have a better idea who you have stalked vs not stalked
    • GF has a pretty long recovery so chewed pen and address book will be ideal addons making a 30 second cool down 16 seconds instead. However its not realistic to have enough of these addons to run forever, so get use to the less good addons unless you farm on other killers to keep him topped up. Can also mix and match chewed with camera footage for a free bbq.
    • Perks, I run Surge, Pop, Nurses and Corrupt/Discordance. Though you can swap one or two out here(devour or ruin undying etc), I prefer two gen regression perks as Surge is good but not always as consistent as Pop if you get a bigger map, also lets you put more pressure on gens when someone is insta downed.
    • Most important tip, have fun. Ghost Face is hilarious to play and get into the jokeyness of it all. I will bring a mori for a laugh and counter tbag people. He just brings it out in ya. Even when you're losing he's fun just poking your head from behind something.
  • I kinda wish his out of stealth speed boost didn't beat sprint burst. Makes him miserable when caught in maps with large dead zones. Not to mention you basically need a window or pallet right next to you to stop him landing a free hit. But I dont think hes OP by any means. Just lacks solid counterplay

  • Would be like a ranged Demo. I could see it working...

  • Some small changes could make him much stronger, mainly adding multi stalk again.

Problem is that him with tomb piece and multi stalk would be OP.

I have Bad News for you. DbD didnt get the License for Scream, but rather for the Ghostface Mask Itself. So even if a new Movie comes out, it doesnt have to do with the InGame GhostyBoy. But yeah. Just making his Base Recovery Speed 10 seconds or even 5 seconds faster would make him far less Addon dependend.

Its actually good they didn't. Probably much cheaper and also allows them a lot more freedom to make skins for him compared to other licensed killers.

  • Old Myers when he first came out could stalk multiple survivors at once making for some fast tier ups early game if he caught multiple people out

I wanted distressing on my p3 doctor for farming. I legit had 5 and a half pages of lvl 3 perks and every single other perk before I got lvl 1 distressing. If this event wasn't going on it would have taken me weeks just to get distressing...

That's why the perk is called distressing. Its how you feel after not getting it.

  • I think they should consider a timer mechanic of some sort around this to punish a full on face camping killer. Such as while killer is within 5-10 meter radius of the hooked person with no other survivors present, the hook timer goes half speed or stops entirely. Could make this timer go away after say 2 or 3 gens left to prevent early on face camps on first hook.

This way survivors running a killer around a hook still decreases timer as normal while also discouraging a killer from hook camping for no reason.

  • I mainly play killer, from the few games I played Survivor recently they all had hook face campers. Legit would not even walk more than a few meters away. Felt horrible to play, even worse, team mates didn't do gens, they tried to help repeatedly till he left them slugged waiting for the one on hook to expire first.

Was a reality check for sure, made me realize I'm not part of the problem at least. I would never think of doing what these people did.

  • Otz and Monto. Otz as he's legit a super nice dude and his killer guides and gameplay is always so helpful as he talks you through what he does and why.

Monto, as he actually got me into the game and makes some great content, sadly never see him or Otz stream due to timezones though.

  • Completely agree! While we are at it, change Corrupt to be for 5 minutes. We don't want survivors tunneling gens after all!

  • I've already bought bubba and got the bbq unlockable recently. But the real reward is the ability to insidious camp basement

  • Its hard for a reason. Straight gen rushing and leaving earns no pips. They want to encourage getting into it with the killers and not just hiding all game and doing gens as fast as possible. Same applies to killers, just winning asap isn't likely to pip. Need chases and gen kicks etc

  • RPD map is disabled currently. Maybe try a map offering for some variety.

  • Whenever I see a Jane, I cant help but scream im TOOOOOOMINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • Red ranks usually split up and do gens quickly. High mobility and ranged killers keep up much easier.

  • Myers suffers from being an old school immobile m1 killer. Most top killers are hyper mobile/have speed buffs or have ranged skills. Makes balancing him with his skill pretty difficult. I think his skill is fitting and stays true to his lore/character though.

He needs addons to be semi-viable so addon change would be a good start along with some QoL changes for his tier 1 and 2.

  • Had a ton of rank 18 me vs rank 1-4 SWF games. Feels bad lacking the optimal perks as a newbie to properly play in the meta. That said all my games bar 1 were red ranks last night and I got to rank 15 by the time I finished with only one entity displeased so its been kinda nice learning better tactics vs good players.

Yeah, but why tunnel if you have noed? I understand in the egc but you might want to try some slowdown perks.

NOED feels like a catch out gimmick without something like BloodWarden to back it up. I had a mori mission in this case, but I used the guy I mori'd as bait, unlucky for the helper they popped last gen as I was about to hit him. I just give enough space to make people wanna try but not enough to get away. I'm admittedly newish to the game so lack any slow down perks other than Corrupt(not unlocked on Myers yet) that recently showed up in shrine. Still farming cannibal to 35 for bbq atm. I guess since im semi new and lack a lot of meta perks which makes tunneling slightly more of a pay off than higher rank games. Though it feels like tunneling and hanging in the area of hooks with gens has its place to slow momentum as they will usually split one off to help the guy slowing progress.

I understand you. But there are so many other non toxic ways you can do this, take a protection hit to get the killers attention, usually works. Go for the unhooker instead to give the recently unhooked a chance to play the game and earn some points or something. I don’t understand why people just want to be so mean in this game

Cant agree with that. Tunneling is a tactic for many things. Sure it can be from pure dislike for someone but generally its because options are getting thin. If im getting Sweat with friends gen rushed as a non mobile m1 killer I will probably tunnel and start playing around the hook. My last game as Myers had 2 gens popped within minutes of the game starting. I force tunneled one off gens and hooked a mile out. Then defended closest gens to them. This slowed the match and let me regain some control. Admittedly it didn't go as planned and ended up mori on the first guy and 2 NOED hooks but what are ya gonna do.
