thanks, i was confused why i kept on getting interrupted even after the nerf!
-
I know that there is some particle effects when you play killer, but can survivors see that too?
-
I made a spirit DC and dude accused me of cheating for disappearing instantly with the lucky break + overcome + inner strength + QnQ combo, in shelter woods even lul
-
if you're getting blinded for 10 seconds, you're getting chain blinded and you need to look down (looking down is superior than looking up)
-
lol both sides require skill, of couse if you switch to survivor after being a killer main 24/7 its easy, thats because you're in the lower mmr lmao these birdbrains man.

Just a question to everyone about their thoughts on blight.
definitely not easy to use as compared to bubba/wraith. but alchemist ring imo is a problem, as well as the other addons that let you see auras after slamming and another one that lets you break pallet just by slamming into it.

There are 3 reasons for this behavior. You tunnel because you are toxic, you are genrushed with 1 hook or you are not enough skilled. Or maybe you just hate that survivor and only that one. Not all tunnelers are toxic, but some of them are doing this on purpose to make you mad. It's a fact.
funnily enough i ran a tunnelling spirit for 5 gens who had the username "toxic" and oh boy, the saltmine was something to behold. oh to make a tunneller cry, its beautiful :')

I just hate the fact that they made her lullaby non-directional, like why? the lullaby is coming from her vocal chords so why in the hell is it non-directional? is the entity the one singing the lullaby?

All the reasons you said happen the same to survivors too. If anything survivors have more reason to complain because of camping and tunnelling. Solo players can’t handle these ‘strats’ at all and it’s easy for a killer to completely ruin a survivors game. That can’t be done the other way unless the skill difference is huge in which case MMR is the issue
hear hear

@Krazzik said:
You can just play and try to get everyone on death hook and then let them all go, should still lower your MMR since it's all based on kills and nothing else.
Or just go afk facing a wall shrugs
You'll lose pips but you can't go down a grade, so if you're say Iri 3, you'll always stay Iri 3
i think being afk as a killer boots you out of the game. one time i had to go get pizza and i didnt have enough cash so i had to accumulate coins from my car and that whole interaction took probably more than 5 seconds. came back to the game and i got disconnected from host.... hmmm

I’ve been seeing a lot of threads about crybaby’s quitting this game and saying it’s survivor sided not fun stressful. There’s a way to make your games fun again. Make them suffer make them wish they were dead!
play as Bubba with insidious and basement camp the ######### out of them.
slug every survivor you see don’t hook them when all 4 are slugged then you start hooking them
tunnel and camp them all to death! Try not to camp as much(unless your leatherface) and tunnel the ######### out of them don’t be afraid of DS just eat it and move on.
Sorry about this rant I’m just angry about these annoying threads of killers whining I’m just suggesting how to make it more fun for them
if you find afk camping fun, you must be really easy to impress lul

@Bwsted said:
That's a good way to make sure bhvr nerfs Bubba. Ironically, survivors would have the last laugh.
i think bubba will remain untouched. all bubbas tend to play the same, which is camp the first hook, and they'll only get 1 kill in every match they play. can you believe there's a guide on how to play bubba? lmao easiest killer to play but people still need a guide whew

idc about ethical way, survivors dont care so why should i
? you asked how to lower your mmr without dcing or losing pips, that's how you do it and this maximizes your bloodpoints as well
-
well, if you wanna lower your mmr the ethical way, simply dont kill anyone and have the mindset of grinding bps. make sure you hook different survivors and dont hook them again if they're on death hook.

Yes, there is that bug where even when your medkit is depleted, it keeps the speed. Imagine if toolboxes did the same.
shhh dont let the devs know

Hello everyone,
Killer mains complaining and Killer mains feeling so much pressure, that they feel they have to announce a bigger break, have always been part of this forum, but lately there are a lot of these.
Most often the answers are a mix of appeasing and wholesome, uplifting words and a few more entitled or antagonistic/sarcastic ones, (somewhere between "you worked your way into the sweaty mmr, now deal with it" and "so you decide how we survs have to play, in order for you to have fun?").
And me, being a diplomatic killer main, I have always chimed in with my own experiences, and tried to also understand the other side.
But just now a thought struck me: why do we see so, so many killer mains, not only complaining, but also leaving, yet so few survivors? There is a fair share of survivors voicing "please nerf thia" or "xxx is too strong", and the survivors strongly voice their pov in the respective "bye, I'm leaving" threads, but I can't remember to have seen a single "the state of the survivor core game is so busted. Bye" threads.
So, is it, that more whiny, low-endurance and entitled brats play killers, while more though and resilient players main survivors? Or might the game actually be slanted in the survivors way, and playing killer (at least in the higher MMR) is really a lot more taxing and stressful?
Mind you, I am not aiming to attack the survivors here, but after a while it seems to be this way. Or maybe there is another explanation? I recently started to play more survivor, because I finished 2/3 of the killer tome quests, and I appreciate good survivor gameplay now much more, while despising tunneling, having experienced it myself way too often.
Yet, I still think that most snarky survivor responses in this good-bye-threads really don't know how though the killer side of things is vs a bunch of experienced survivors with all those perks and techniques at their disposal.
I know that this here is mostly rambling and "more of the same old", but yeah, I also believe that if things were truly balanced, or even more balanced, we would see a lot more survivor mains being fed up with the game.
The end.
those killer mains who make these threads are just baiting. they're really not leaving, they're just hoping that bhvr will make the game easier for them by expressing the woes of killer. if they were really leaving, why tf would you open a thread? just move on to the next game then

BHVR please just nerf survivors for heavens sake. I can't take it anymore, gen-rushers, toolboxes, flashlight saves, body-blocking- spread out gens, ruin gone in 2 seconds. I CAN'T DO JACK ALL WITHOUT SURVIVORS JUST WALKING UP AND BODY BLOCKING AND FLASH BANGING AND SAVING.
I'm close to my breaking point, it sounds childish but survivors are too overpowered and need serious nerfs
i take it you're a nurse main from your name and pic, why are you having trouble? game should be a breeze for you

That is a risk you take if you have such build. Same as stealth killers being unlucky getting Spine Chill survivors.

You cannot 3-hook everyone whilst alternating hooked Survivors at any MMR above the lowest. The game simply isn't built that way.
If you are three-hooking everyone while also not tunneling, you aren't in the correct skill bracket.
pretty sure u can 3 hook everyone at any MMR, just play nurse or blight 😉

Not sure if serious, but when I play solo survivor, I run totem builds and cleanse every totem on the map to stop boons from going up because I think they're bs and terrible for the game
guessing you're doing this just to die and stay in low mmr eh? good thing i won't ever have you as a teammate then. believe me, the killer would think of you as a moron than appreciating you ;p
-
@Pulsar said:
I just think Survivors who have BT shouldn't have collision.
camping would be so powerful and it'll only be a cycle of hooks one after another with minimal effort from the killer, so i disagree. dont understand why people still got a problem with this perk.
-
sure, as long as nurse gets removed too :')

Just curious about the opinions on the new perks for Artist and Jonah.
pentimento seriously limits your build as you have to run other hexes to counter boons, so it's a pretty trash perk.

should've given up on trapper a long time, my friend
-
i'd be dedicating that last perk slot for shadowborn baby

I feel Trickster is a way better killer than people expect, he's in C tier?! He is a better killer than huntress and those who say he sucks can't aim a machine gun!

It was the same way with spirit, lol.
The night before her nerf I played against a ruin/pop/corrupt/undying spirit with father’s glasses and MDR.
that was real fun facing broken spirits 10+ times a day before her nerf hahaha

Idk about you all but I've had almost non-stop bad experiences this weekend getting to capitalize on the double BP. When I play survivor I get tunneled out or face camped first or the match just gets ended asap which like, it's fine if a killer wants to 4k quickly I understand but it's such a waste of sacrificial cakeee like ugh imagine the BP they could have gotten. And then conversely on killer side I try to bring cake and initiate a farm / help do challenges and survivors really say no and decide to bully instead.
So I've resorted to just being tryhard and "toxic" (By in game standards) since both sides have been nothing but toxic to me and I just honestly have felt so bad for trying to do that like ugh does it always get like this during bonus BP events? I don't ever want to use sacrificial cake again and I have a ton of that shi on my killers 😭
Literally the only thing that's been keeping me playing lately is I really want the Plague and Feng skins from Rift and I'm also sorta excited for The Artist but it's just like every match has been PAIN and it wasn't like this before the Bloodhunt so yeah idk share your experiences if you want I just wanted to vent I guess. I did have one really amazing match where I made friends with one of the survivors afterwards because we found out we both play ffxiv which was wholesome but those interactions tend to be 1 in every hundred matches lol
dont even bother farming bloodhunt as a survivor.
-
lots of killers camping and sweating out there, i don't ever want to use bps and make the killer get more points. bps only when i play killer because i get to control the match.
-
this is why i dont use bps as survivor, you never know what kind of sweat the killer's packing

Insta-ADS was only really strong on zoning if you let him get really close to you, and at this range all other ranged killers are also very deadly. He is a 110% killer so there was no reason to let him get that near (except if he was running Monitor, which imo shouldn't work on him).
Long range shots were always unreliable because his hitbox is so tiny that even just slightly wiggling while running (which doesn't really make you lose distance) would make it super hard for anyone that wasn't a god with him to land a shot. Now long range shots are even more of a joke to dodge because of the longer ADS, and the only real reliable way of playing him is going for zoning which is boring for anyone.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUPM4pq-MSg&ab_channel=%E3%81%88%E3%81%B3%E3%82%82%E3%82%8A%E3%83%81%E3%83%A3%E3%83%B3%E3%83%8D%E3%83%AB watch from 5:54 to 6:53 to get my point. It's in Japanese but the footage is enough to understand. The Jake manages to dodge his medium-range shot just by walking a little to the side, and even if he was old Slinger there just a little wiggle from Jake would be enough to dodge. This guy is the 3rd Slinger with the most downs while Speared on the Leaderboard, so dodging Slinger was never "just hope he misses" like people used to say.
What had to be done to Slinger were just three things: (1) make it so Monitor doesn't work with at all, or maybe give him a 24m lullaby; (2) make his TR a bit louder, until today it's one of the most subtle TR musics; (3) give Slinger a massive slowdown if he raises his gun without shooting, something slower than even Huntress, so Slingers who actually went for quickscopes at medium/long range are rewarded, while the cheap zoning Slingers are punished.
the cooldown thing would've been a much, much greater change. its sad at what slinger has become.

Since boons came to the game they have been meta shifting, and while I don't think that's a bad thing, I feel they're a bit over tuned right now. My suggestion to reduce strength with out crippling the perks would be to implement a timer that would not allow you to re-boon the totem right away. For example say the killer snuffs the totem, the entity would then block the totem from being interacted with for a time, similar to Hex: Plaything. I think around 30 seconds would be good, giving the killer some breathing room.
I personally like boons, but I can see the power and impact they have on the game, what are some of your thoughts?
not the worst suggestion, some people here are on board with making boons as useless as MoM by making it a one time use lmao

Alright everyone, laugh at my suffering.
I waited over 20 minutes (it was actually 45, but I don't have a video of that) for a game, only to get a 5 minute match.
5 mins and you get 61k BP?! killers are really the best for bloodpoints my lord

Honest question
Just wish they gave him a lullaby like trickster and huntress instead of increasing his TR to 32m.

pretty much useless. nerfed harder than moris - at least moris allow you to avoid DS on survs' second hook.
-
i'm pretty sure right now its probably gonna be instant survivor queues due to many people playing killer just for the BP.

I'm just going for a tome challenge to "fully deplete 5 medkits." I've been bringing a brown medkit with double healing speed addons just so I can use it immediately and finish it. I'm making sure that I don't hit any great skill checks so I can make sure the medkit is fully used. But after the medkit is completely drained, I'm still not healed and need a one tap from a teammate. This has happened twice now. Anyone else encountered this?
there's a bug right now with brown medkits and bhvr is taking their sweet time to fix it, a way to circumvent this is hittin dem great skill checks boah

Still can not hit them lol any tips thanks
There are no tips other than just practicing blinks. Don't be afraid of looking like a baby nurse, you'll get better eventually.

I've noticed this weird phenomenon with killers low queue time at night and survivors low queue time in the day.
well i can tell you this, solo survivor is a miserable experience compared to killer, so thats probably why. most people play with their friends at night.

Now combine them both and you have one near impossible chase, and god help you if you’re on an indoor map like Midwich or Lery’s
Lery's has no grass, use your eyes to see the blood pool. why do i even have to say this

It’s very overpowered. When a survivor is out of line of sight the killer has two ways to track them, sound and scratch marks. Iron Will completely removes sound from the equation and there’s absolutely nothing the killer can do about it.
If you compare it to other “meta” perks they all have some counter play
- Dead Hard - try and bait it out
- Decisive Strike - wait it out
- Unbreakable - pick up straight away
- Boons - snuff them out
- Borrowed Time - wait it out
there’s at least some ways to counter other strong meta perks (granted it’s only a temporary solution to Boons but that’s an entirely different argument)
but with Iron Will there’s nothing the killer can do, you’ve just got to accept the fact you’re in for a lot harder chases for the rest of the game
three ways - blood pool, which is quite easy to track imo.
-
also, don't even bother prestiging, its a waste of time and doesn't improve your odds of getting good stuff in the bloodweb.
-
wraith is a good bp farming killer, you get a lot of points just by uncloaking and hitting a survivor.
-
I feel like I'm playing a different game than you all. My killer queues during the day takes ages, and survivor queues instant. At night, it's the opposite since a lot of people play with their friends at night. It's been this way even before I stopped playing in 2018. I don't think there's a killer shortage at all because if there were, I'd have instant killer queues no matter the time of day.
Something tells me that the comments in that video and in this thread aren't very truthful.
-
@Tsulan said:
Yeah nice try, i´m not going to give you shorter survivor queues by playing killer.
think you're the only killer in this game? killer/survivor queues are only dependent on the time of day my man - instant killer queues at night, and instant survivor queues by day.
-
ehh idk I wouldn't say "for any killer", seems like just an ok perk and makes 99% sprint burst all the more annoying. guess its only good for high mobility killers, since spine chill negates this perk for stealth killers anyway
-
Survivor is boring as hell too because of MMR, there's too many nurses and blight (i love blight but its too much now) in my matches.
-

A valid complaint for those in the US region. For others such as EU and AS, it would be awful with the language barriers.
