Settle down.

I think the only change they need is an ability swap. Victor should have a normal attack, be able to pick up and hook survivors, kick pallets and gens and Charlotte should scurry around on all 4 and pounce on survivors backs while screaming.
That will solve basically all of their problems.
-
I noticed this discrepancy too. Probably just a miscommunication with whoever was writing up the old add on descriptions.
Also, just curious, but why do you call the add ons grey? They're brown. I've noticed other people do the same and never understood why.
-
I don't get why the only options are no or you two change ideas. It could use a change but I wouldn't go with your ideas
-
Add ons only

Nothing compared to Scourge Hook: Pain Renaissance.
I think Pinhead would be quite thrilled by a pain renaissance

Mmm. Hex: Pie

Leatherface should move at 105% to balance out his ability to down all 4 survivors at once.

Ok

I don't actually think you're an idiot, I just thought it was funny lol. But I do disagree

Lol I voted not realizing this is old and Halloween is long over

I wonder why they removed them. The downvotes I understand but not the others.
I think mostly just to simplify things but LOL in particular was used as a mocking reaction once they got rid of the downvote, if I remember correctly
-
You used to be able to do a few reactions to posts. There were LOLs, Awesomes and up and down votes

Oh like fatal frame, condemned, and the first few silent hills that are actual horror games.
...yes. Go play them. DBD is not for you.

PLAY A SINGLE PLAYER GAME

It's so funny to see people bend over backwards to defend this killer. But not at all surprising.
I avoid the basement like the plague. That's just a rule of mine. But ESPECIALLY against a trap based killer. Whether or not you need to complete a challenge is none of my concern. Sorry, looks like you'll have to try again in another game. If you want to keep trying to bring me into the basement even though you clearly cannot, feel free because I'll be getting more boldness and survival points as well as XP for surviving in the match longer.

I hardly ever use his special. Unless like, they're at the exit gate taunting me.
So what do you do with him? Try to get the chain hunt started asap?

That the devs hate killer players

Why would you play a game if you thought the developer hated you?

Medkits should definitely be dialed back. They become really problematic when multiple survivors have the ability to heal themselves multiple times over the course of a trial. You're saving ~20% of a gen every time someone can self-heal at normal speed and someone who would be healing is working on a gen the entire time. It also (in theory) allows survivors to spread out more easily.
I think a charge cap at 16 charges would be good, and any speed increases reduces charges.
So cap at one heal and any speed increase wouldn't give you a full heal? Why would anyone ever run that?
-
I'm not gonna respond to the umpteenth comment informing me that [blank] "negates" [blank]. Especially since a lot of them are weak examples and are not an entire game mechanic and don't have 14 and counting perks centered around them.
But some of you made good points and I appreciate it. My healing build days are over.

Edit: I'm mean. Sorry

Play what you want. Complain about what you want.
Just don't be the guy who throws his team's chances out the window and ruins everyone's fun because somebody else wants to play the Killer they bought.
Oh yeah, I definitely don't blame the killer. I like Plague (playing as her anyway) so I'm excited she got some fine tuning. Just ranting. Going forward I'm just not gonna run a healing build

@Carth said:
But you can make this argument about any killer power??
Why does nurse/blight/spirit shut down any distance generating perks/playstyle?
Why do stealth killers remove terror radius?
Why do trapper killers negate loops?
Also healing has never been stronger than it currently is right now. CoH + some of the perks you listed allows you to belt out ridiculously fast heals, in mid-chase even. Complaining that healing is too hard countered because of one unpopular killer is weird.
Blight/Spirit/Nurse don't "counter" distance gaining perks because they still have to travel a further distance to get you and most of each survivor's goal is to waste as much of the killer's time as possible so the others can repair/heal/unhook. Also if you can travel more distance faster you're more likely to get to the next pallet or window. Only Nurse counters that, which was already mentioned earlier.
Yes, stealth killers annoy me when I'm running perks that need a TR to activate like Stake Out or Pebble. But that's like two perks and hardly a build lol.
Aren't there plenty of people complaining that anti looping killers force shift + W gameplay?
It's weird to complain about a killer almost completely negating my favorite aspect of playing survivor? Ok then. Isn't 99% of this forum complaining? Lol
I can always stop complaining and run DS/DH/BT or a gen rushing build if that makes you happy 🤷♀️

But yes I like this idea

@ShadowNurseZFX said:
Its pretty simple, let us go into games solo as the killer and survivor we want to practice
I had high hopes when they talked about the expanded tutorial but the fact that you can only play as Trapper makes it only good for brand new players.

@Hektic3000 said:
Nurse negates survivors using windows, pallets, and walls but people have no problem with that.
Plenty of people have a problem with that. But that's not what this topic is about.
-
I have plenty of games where the killer runs to the corner and does nothing. Plenty of farming games where the killer let's all the survivors go.
I agree that a lot of the challenges are obnoxious and you have to play poorly to complete them, thus making the killer more likely to get kills. But there's two ends of the spectrum. Do they cancel each other out so the kill rates are 100% accurate? Unlikely, but we don't know for sure. That's why statistics should just be looked at for fun and not something to completely rely on to form conclusions.

Who cares if he is or not?
I don't get why so many people are so interested in a character's ethnicity/race nowadays. Just play the damn game.
If a character was from my hometown or even state I would be excited. I don't get why people being interesting in characters' lore triggers you so bad, but I can tell you don't need to post every thought that comes into your head. Sometimes just let people enjoy things, maybe?

I voted last year (I think it was) but I'm not going to this year. Pretty unhappy with the state of things and some of the decisions Bhvr has made for this game.

why would i need to specify that it was my opinion when you literally asked me to give my opinion beforehand?
there is a clear difference between stating a fact and an opinion, and you have to make clear which you're doing at any given time.
for example:
a fact is "The Trappers terror radius is 32m" - and an opinion is "that is too big and it should be 24m instead". you can not state both the same way, otherwise you're either going to make the fact look like it was merely an opinion, or the opinion look like it was a fact - both of which would be very wrong and should therefore be avoided.
if you're stating an opinion on something, you need to mark it as such. otherwise you're just causing unnecessary controversy / confusion among everyone reading your post - this is entirely avoidable by taking two seconds more to type something like "IMO" at any point in your sentence.
example:
"The Trappers TR is 32m, which is too big and needs to be 24m instead" sounds quite different to "The Trappers TR is 32m, which IMO is too big and needs to be 24m instead".
and just FYI - this whole discussion started BECAUSE i marked something (whether the Artist was fun or not) as an opinion rather than a fact, which some apparently took an issue with.
""The Trappers TR is 32m, which is too big and needs to be 24m instead" sounds quite different to "The Trappers TR is 32m, which IMO is too big and needs to be 24m instead"."
No, it sounds exactly the same. It's blatantly obvious that both are opinions.
In my opinion, of course.

yes.
when you're talking about your own, subjective opinion, you should mark it as such.
Ok well .. what you just said is your opinion and.. you didn't say it was an opinion. Why doesn't this rule apply to you?
-
Why would you play a game if you genuinely believe its developers HATE you? Or do you think maybe you're being a little dramatic and victimy?
-
@GannTM said:

If it's opinion based then yes they should. People act like this game should be balanced around themselves so if Artist is unfun to them then they must nerf Artist to the ground.
Unless someone is posting something like "Trapper's terror radius is 32 meters" then you should assume they are stating an opinion of some kind. ESPECIALLY if the subject in question is how much fun something is.. because there's no way to objectively measure fun.
