Sometimes you cant wait though. It takes so long to wait for one and as soon as Im like ok this is taking to long and I release… BAM lol
Ofc, I just mean when I can
-
Yuuuuup
This is why I only get off a gen after a skill check
-
Survivors are supposed to suffer
its what the entity wants

I really do see lots more people killing themselves on hook now tho
This. I wonder how stats would look if we could filter out the survivors who give up.

The sound is OK especially for indoor maps where you have more difficulties to find them.
But you should definitely not spawn next to a totem.
Yeah I think the sound is fine, but they need to hide them better. No out in the open totems, but they can be heard. I think its a fair deal but atm its just bad for both Hexes and Boons.

I want a middle ground on the darkness. Please stop making the game bright, but doesnt need to be nearly pitch black.
-
Nothing other than stuff that isint related to horror.
We should welcome all types of horror, so many possibilities.
-
Please, now more than ever I'd appreciate it making a come back.

I was a Wraith main too! I feel it's the natural second choice for people who mained Wraith. Sadako is truly amazing.
Here's one of my recent plays of Sadako in The Game (it's still a super strong survivor map despite not being too bad for Sadako, it has a thousand safe pallets). Generally speaking, for sadako you need:
- Great knowledge of the maps you're playing in. You have to know which sides of the maps are strong, what kind of tiles and pallets it can spawn, and how you'll approach the different loops.
- Know when to drop chase/when to commit. This is crucial for a killer like Sadako, whose chase power is slower compared to other killers like Blight or Nurse. Generally speaking, you will be fine if you get a first hit in (using Sloppy is better for wasting extra time, you can also combine it with Save the Best for Last) and only commit if the survivor isn't rushing straight to a very strong loop (shack, a strong building like Crotus penn Asylum big version), otherwise getting a hit in and going back to generators watch is best course of action.
- Teleport through TVs A LOT more often than you think during chases: Not blindly randomly teleporting to any TV, no. And not only AFTER you hook someone. Teleport as often as you can. And, more often than not, this will throw survivors off. Let's say you go to a generator and you see there are two survivors repairing, one disappears and you chase the other. If you're not downing them fast enough, teleport back to the generator. You will most likely catch a survivor off guard. Also, watch for TVs in the path of the survivor, if it's in the proximity of where they're running to, sometimes this will guarantee you a down. (watch in the video minute 2:20)
- Pick a 3 gen: This is best for killers like Sadako and Trapper, though it works for all killers. Basic killer strategies. Ignore the furthest away gens. Pick your little generator playpen, and don't commit too much outside of your playpen. Drop chase if you must.
Last but not least, people tend to underestimate Sadako. Use her powers a lot. Demanifest and manifest in smart ways, teleport through tvs as often as you can, get a few hits in, break a couple pallets and drop chase. Every time you come back to those survivors, they'll be weaker and you'll be stronger.
Alright, time for me to hop on some Onryo.
I likely have been committing to chases too much, guess im trying to practice the manifestation invisibility.

Okay so, hear me out, survivors and killers should have exclusive buffs within the trial. (them being lore accurate ofc) I think this would be a great addition and make survivors less cosmetic and make them more unique cause right now most survivors are just used for their looks. I have made some suggestions for these bonuses for survivors i will list them here:
Dwight Fairfield: Your team leading skills make everyone have more hope. Survivors you're healing and survivors who heal you have a slight increase in healing speed (5-15%)
Meg: Your athletic nature makes you less exhausted. Exhausted lasts for a slightly shorter duration of time (5-15%)
Claudette Morel: Years of being a botanist have taught you how to treat wounds more efficeintly. Gain an increase in healing speed by 20-35%
Jake Park: You have spent a lot of time in the woods. This has taught you a few things. The sound of your walking is reduced by 50% and you do not alert woodland creatures.
Nea Karlsson: Oftenly sneaking out has taught you this and that. Make 45% less noise when falling and reduce stagger by 15%
William "Bill" Overbeck: Being a survivor of a zombie apocalypse, you know how to take care of yourself. When healing yourself make 50% less noise and gain a 10% increase in healing speed. (only works on yourself)
David King: Fighting a lot has made you more immune to pain. Increase the lenght of endurance effects by 50%
Laurie Strode: Surviving Micheal for a long time makes you more determined to survive. Increase killer stun duration by 20%.
Ace Visconti: You are a lucky bastard. Gain a moderate luck increase in trial.
Feng Min: E-sport gaming made you learn a few strategies from video games. Generators you're repairing make 50% less noise and you lose less progress while failing a skill check.
Kate Denson: You're an expert guitar player, meaning you have swift finger which you use to your advantage. Cleanse totems, heal and repair generators 5% faster.
Adam Francis: Years of education and teaching made you more knoledgeable. Great skill check zones are increased by 20%
Jeff Johansen: Being an artist allows you to mark locations for survivors using mud and dirt around the place. Gain the ability to make waypoints for other survivors (Maximum 5 per trial) to show them where objectives or pallets are.
Jane Romero: Having your own show has its ups and downs. You like to take things head-on, meaning your timers for perks are decreased by 1s (head on, inner strenght etc.)
Ash J. WIlliams: You are "a man built for survival" and an "alone wolf" meaning when all survivors are are sacrificed gain a 100% increase in opening gates and the hatch.
(not doing the stranger things characters since the license kinda dipped lol (also i ran out of ideas for them))
Yui Kimura: Being a street racer means you're trying to be as fast as possible. Gain a 5% increase to vault speed when being chased.
Zarina Kassir: You prefer to avoid detection, meaning you have a 25% increase in movement speed while crouching.
Cheryl Mason: Being a psychic makes you spiritually stronger. Aura reading duration is increased by 2s and the range of auras is increased by 15 meters.
Felix Richter: Being an architect means you are more familiar with tools. Item consumption rate is decreased by 20%
Elodie Rakoto: You decept killers to keep yourself alive. When a killer misses near you, gain 5% bonus movement speed for 3 seconds.
Yun-Jin Lee: You are self-interested meaning you make sure you get out of sticky situations, even if it means sacrificing someone else. When a survivor is sacrificed you get a 20% increase in aura reading range (up to 3 stacks)
Jill Valentine: You have triumphed over bio weapons and monsters, and you know how to fight back more efficiently. You pull down pallets 20% faster.
Leon.S Kennedy: You are a rookie police officer and that has taught you some things. When getting injured by the killer you leave no scratch marks behind for 3 seconds and the speed boost is increased by 10%.
Mikaela Reid: You are a mystic with supernatural abilities. While using boon perks, the range of the boons is increased by 10 meters.
Jonah Vasquez: You are a mathematician, meaning you can help other survivors repair generators more efficiently. The survivors repairing generators with you have skill check speed decreased by 5% but the great skill check zone is decreased by 5%.
Yoichi Asakawa: You are a psychic, meaning you protect yourself from evil spirits easier. While the killer is using their power reveal their aura for 0.7 seconds.
Haddie Kaur: You feel others's suffering. When healing other survivors you make sure to make them calm down. Your healing noise is reduced by 75% only while healing others.
Detective Tapp: You are better at locating objectives than other people. When spawning in the trial see the auras of all generators for 10 seconds.
Quentin Smith: You have survived Freddy Kruegers's attacks and you are able to make more of medical supplies to survive. Item consupmtion rate is decreased by 40% only when using a medkit.
Rebecca Chambers: You are a medic and your presence soothes others. Survivors within 10 meters of you make 50% less grunts of pain and while you heal them they make no noise at all.
Ada Wong: You are a secret agent which makes you more stealthy. While the killer's aura is revealed to you, it will linger for 3 seconds after the aura reading has ended
Thoughts?
I love this, and want it so bad. I got a note pad full of something similar, however I made each survivor have a negative(s) depending on how strong their strengths were.
Also wanna add, I'd change Janes to be a percent, so its more useful for the much longer timed perks.
-
For real I just throw games for this. Actually lick the pallet till the killer hits you and is 100% in the pallet. Stun for each hit.
I can't stand most single trial challenges, they're awful.
-
Well, you don't technically have to. The perk is designed to give them that extra hit, so a killer would hit.
But a video game player aware of the perks can understand how to counter it, hence why we wait.
If you really don't like it, just stop waiting for it.
-
Please
tell me how to make her strong, make a post or something if you havent already.
I looove her to death, and figured if I was a previous Wraith main I'd be good. But I have the worst games with her :(
-
I'm prob far out in the blue but like
I HATE seeing stuff retire, especially offerings. I really want more diverse offerings, so instead rework/buff these. Please.
-
Honestly not needed, if he does only hit the pallet, its the shortest base pallet break in the game. He will shred through them all
-
but also
Skinwalker killer when
-
Imagine if Scratched mirror could also be basekit for Tier 1, Can stalk as normal but also see through walls during Tier 1.
-
I really just dont get why they brought back the dead mans switch combo
-
All the reworks are getting toned down in time too. I never even noticed till someone shared a comparison.
Sigh
-
If the last two can loop, sometimes it isnt always the end.
At the least, let them play it to make points.

There's a difference with just darkness and straight up blinding the player with nothingness, i couldn't even see past 1 meter on certain maps.
Thats so overdramatic im dead xD

I just want to be able to spend points on killers while queueing up as a different killer.
Love that this was removed, so that we could have separate killer mmr.
Does anyone ever actually feel a new killer's MMR is any lower than their mains?
This "feature" is such poo poo
-
An auto buy option would be nice.
Emphasis on the OPTION because I'd still like to manually take efficient routes when trying to prestige.
-
@Pumpkinbros said:
did you know that the blast mine change was actually a GLITCH?!
That's right it was never supposed to return to you, after it popped
after it's been in circulation the devs noticed that it's actually a great feature... but still a bug regardless
i'd love to see it changed back someday, but for now I feel the buff needs to be better
33% gen progression not 50 like what? if someone else is working with you, you literally won't get it
I absolutely can't stand this when they decide to make bugs a feature.
-
@Hawk81584 said:
darkness shouldnt be in any game ever made. its absolutely astonishing how little thought was put into that aspect
lol
-
Pretty much easy with only specific killers like you said, but possible with a few perks.
Oni with his pink addon works too
-
It sucks, I kinda hoped so. Makes my day to face Spirit after Spirit, such a fun killer to face imo
I promise shes still a blast to play with her nerfs!
-
Even if
im an absolute sucker for killer chase perks
Especially brutal and Fire up mmmmm

Because the rest are 4.6 and can catch up normally. Nurse cannot
Terrible argument for the Nurse considering it doesn't mean anything for her strength. I just hope this isint the Dev's mindset, not craping on you.

New Perk: Phone a Friend
Anytime all survivors are hooked or in the Dying state, an AI survivor will fall from the heavens and remain in the trial for 60/70/80 seconds. They will actively try to recover the team.
Fr tho what a wack hack
-
Just make it optional pls
I dont need an auto filler taking the least efficient routes.
-
Trapper dog when
-
" then offer extra points to survivors " its for either side needed btw
You sir are overall being a bit to dramatic

It removes 2 tokens for distortion. I couldn’t imagine a perk affecting itself, but it’s a killer perk, so I think devs supposed its fine
Okay this is an issue. Lethal needs to stop at 10 seconds because of this alone tbh.
-
Yeah I'll always target survivors who try to ruin their teammate's experience. Then proceed to farm with the rest so they can spectate and cry :)

Thanks for your sympathy.
They made the game. How are they not at fault?
It's an individuals choice to play like that. They could make more incentive to not do so, but I doubt it would make this never happen.

I don't want to be chosen. I'm only asking the killer to do their job and ... kill. kill everyone. Makes no sense for a serial killer to let someone go. Killers don't have pity on anyone
Problem solved. The culture of letting people go also fosters the snitching cheating too. Nobody should be doing this. they kill.
Every SINGLE killer has to be the same too right?
-
You'll be chosen eventually don't worry. But fr, if the match was too easy I can't help but feel bad, always let at least one, sometimes two go.
The one's I did kill I didn't tunnel or camp in these games, so it's not like they had a bad time.

@SuzuKR said:
Nurse doesn't need a change. I would be interested to see your data.
Range add-ons and 3 blink add-on do need a change. But those are the only problematic aspects of Nurse.
YouTube videos are going to show wins. That's a given.
Ragequitting and ruining it for your teammates is not the way to go.
Outside of her initial two batch of deserved nerfs, devs have virtually never said she is an issue, nor that she needs or is planned to receive changes. In comparison, basically every single other problematic part of DBD has been addressed either as a plan or by action. For instance, old DS? Mentioned it will need a change and then got a change. Mori being 1-hook? Addressed and changed. Old keys and hatch? Addressed and changed.
To be fair, she's much harder for survivors now with the new balancing. They could end up saying this before too long
-
Yeah it was never 99%, like the one above said the only change was from a smaller cap to a bigger cap, not bigger to smaller.
-
No good option
How about no, he's gonna stop being as popular with a little time
First chapter?

New rebecca perk just super buffed this tho
Use perk then do gens

sorry but have you tried doing m1 huntress? also as far as i know nvidia isnt cheating hence why everyone uses it
It's 100% possible to follow someone in corn. It's doing it job if you struggle however.
"Everyone uses it" Doesn't make it any less of a cheat in my eyes.
Any content creator I see with bright ass gameplay or weird filters, loses all rep for me. Play the game the way its intended.

I dont think the disco rave flickering is required. Plus I really would like to see you argue how integral to keeping DBD scary a flickering light is when we have Wesker and Trickster in the game.
I'm all for options, but not flat out removing effects. Warnings, with options.

@SailedSavage said:
this happens every other game to me (last 10ish seconds). I'm very clearly on the other side of the pallet and yet I'm forced backwards and drop pallet on the side next to killer. Took a year off due to unstable servers, terrible balancing and awful queue times. Only thing that's changed since is the queue times. See you in another year maybe
You were likely just before the side you wanted to be on. There's no vacuum forward with pallets, only backwards. You have to be past the pallet for it to be safe man.
-
I think it always more up to your personal enjoyment of an outfit, if you think he looks good and was done well then go for it. His animation issues don't affect you anyways if you buy and use it.
Also don't think it was fixed yet

It's literally for ONE match..
And the afflictions are not that bad?
Given the fact that before people were having health ripercussion from the visual and audio effect, in-game debuffs are the correct way to have a challenge
If you don't like the challenge, don't complete it or complete it later when you feel more comfortable playing part of a match with a debuff
"If you don't like the challenge, don't complete it"
Me to the small number of people who physically couldn't handle it
