Any damage negated by Endurance has the consequence of putting you into Deep Wounds. Deep Wounds doesn't allow you to negotiate any more damage until you mend to the injured state.
I know this because if you use a Styptic Agent, then take the final protection hit to active Mettle of Man, you will notice that Mettle of Man is not protecting you with the Endurance status effect.
I forgot an example that I know does work
if you take a mettle of man endurance hit you don't get deep wounded so if you afterwards use a styptic you can take 2 endurance hits in a row, completely slipped my mind

Played as Twins and didn't get it either.
did you end the game as victor, because if you end the game while being victor you don't get the crown, same glitch they had on release where you wouldn't get sacrifice emblem points as victor but its now with the crown

50% right, mettle of man is an endurance effect that doesn't put you into the deep wounds state it just negates a hit deep wounds isn't directly tied to endurance its just that so many endurance effects are tied to deep wounds many people forget that the two aren't intertwined just usually packaged together so its seen as part of the effect
but I have no idea on the second part since I haven't seen it in a video or tied it

Endurance cannot be applied while you're in deep wounds. It's just something the game doesn't allow.
Therefore, you don't have to worry about that happening.
I would disagree but I can't find a video of my counterpoint anywhere so im going to call it a tie for now
-
Don't forget to add a stipulation that no mither can't take protection hits while in the deep wound state or you can just park 2 no mithers next to each other and be immortal
-
im just here waiting for blight to be less buggy
gonna be here a while
-
Ds is fine, its an anti tunnel perk but its no longer abusable, its power level in terms of anti tunnel are the same they don't need to be buffed for no reason use more perk slots
-
From experience I can answer why I personally use nothing but the basic blight build
playing blight is frankly an uphill battle since its you vs survivors vs collision vs bugs the worse bugs you face and the worse collision you have the harder time you have which makes it feel unfair that the survivors might get a free pass every now and then
and on top of that if I had to throw perks into the equation that I also have to use/work for/worry about, it would be blight vs survivors vs collision vs bugs vs perks vs brown vs board of education and frankly thats just asking too much to balance most of the time for a casual blight experience, I enjoy the fact that those perks work well and synergize together so that I don't have to balance even more on my plate just to play blight
if collision was better especially on maps like shelter woods, and trees on coldwind (because for some reason who would have guessed massive deadzones with a tree or two only but they have no collision isn't very fun as blight) and more of the bugs were fixed I would probably shake up my builds more but frankly as it stands I usually encounter at least 5+ bugs or wonky collisions a game that just straight up remove hits and on top of that people want me to bring weak perks, no thanks
-
Nah I like my 400 7000 bp dump items that I use once im a blue moon, glory kill look good
-
Strong killers just feel better to play then the weaker ones, if I play blight on cowshed with 13 pallets and 9 windows (yes I counted) its not a big deal but when I play hillbilly on an extremely safe map with 10 pallets and 10 windows all extremely accessable in the same loop (why does this map exist tbh) its just not an enjoyable experience and I don't like the variance of will map rng make this weaker killer unplayable when there are killers who can just play around rng with either skill or their power
-
Events happening while its basically unplayable for a lot of people
nothing to counterbalance this fact like a longer event or a 2nd event for when major issues are "mostly" fixed
no tracker for community goals
Cakes massively down for killers from last year from up to 4+ cakes down to an average of 1.5 cakes per bloodweb and survivors still suffering with 0-1 even items per level 50 bloodweb
Its just last years event but with the shrine of secrets more active but the rest of the event is more just a shell of its former self since its the same thing but there are less event nodes in the bloodweb so its effectively a drained version of last years event
What I would like to see to "fix" the event before the event ends
Community trackers (at least updated on the hour it doesn't have to be 24/7 I just want to see the progress / progression)
Either extended event or 2nd event for when optimization issues are fixed
More event items per bloodweb I think each side should have 3 event nodes per bloodweb minimum so that killers can stack up on cakes and survivors have access to plenty of event items, not just 1ish item per bloodweb, its an event its not supposed to be a grind its supposed to be fun and a time of celebration not of stinginess
-
Thats not how the endurance status effect works
it prevents you from being put into the dying state from the injured state it does not prevent you from being put from the healthy state into the injured state

I would say it’s not killer movement speed that’s an issue but time to down a survivor. Tricksters time it takes to down a survivor is horrendous. Deathslinger’s is top tier.
deathslinger isn't top tier he just has decent anti loop but he doesn't really have anything that speeds up the chase especially with his 5.75 second cooldown on successful shots slowing him down
-
Preemptive addon description changes are actually pretty common, this is the 4th time its happened and it has now affected a total of 5 killers at least the 4th time that Ive noticed
patch 4.1.0 hillbilly and bubba were updated but their addon descriptions were changed for the final pass coming to their addons in 4.1.1
before patch 3.5.0 ptb (doctor rework) you could see one of the reworked doctor addons descriptions
Then party bottles
and now twins
-
sounds like someone doesn't know who that is and doesn't comprehend what a great addition they would be
-
Grim from the grim adventures of billy and mandy would make a great addition
-
to be fair you might not be the bad player exactly but you still should have taken pressure off your teammates earlier in the game by being hooked or at least getting the killers attention earlier since you have 2 hook stages to burn like running at the spirit once the gen is done instead of running away to try and take her attention
in short technically you did throw your team under the buss (at least a little bit) in the grand scheme by not using your hook stages wisely
-
My suggestions post nerf
change some addons so that they can down survivors faster / increase lethality
increase move speed while throwing a bit so he can use his power at loops better
then he would be in a pretty good spot with the nerfs/buffs

There’s no reason to tunnel anyone. As killer you’re faster, you have lunge, many have range attacks, Noed, bbq, Tinkerer, etc. All of those trump anything a survivor could bring or do. Sorry, I know that’s not popular opinion on here, but it is the facts.
thats not "the facts" thats not even relevent to why you shouldn't tunnel in the situation

We know what would happen if all survivors spawn together all the time hence why it isn't part of the game now. Newer players would bunch up and get totally annihilated. Killers with insta-down powers would be incredibly strong. People seem to want to furth stagnate the meta on this game by making situations guaranteed, notably in the killer's favour.
we all know "roughly" what would happen why he is suggesting is to test what would actually happen
since close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades he is suggesting that we should test it for a weekend to get some numbers behind it to see the actual impact that spread spawns have on matches in cold hard statistics not theoretical alone, a theory backed by statistics
-

What is that even meant to mean?
my guy he is only suggesting to test how it would pan out not saying the game will be in the game forever, and just because we know the theoretical doesn't mean it would be bad to have statistics backing it, and for testing sake what if we did X for a single weekend to gather information on it to learn the average statistical difference spawns have on a match is a decent question to ask

Blights "viable" addons rated by strength
Ring
Crow
Compound 21
Rat
Blight tag
Vigos journal
Compound 33
shredded notes
rose tonic (only help slightly more then they potentially hinder)
pustula dust (only help slightly more then they potentially hinder)
umbra salts (screws with muscle memory)
plague bile (screws with muscle memory)
Canker Thorn (medicore since it only works with canceled bumps which make cooldowns 1.25 seconds longer anyway or with rushing a full 3 seconds either way even with all this its still only 0.5 seconds saved)
Foxglove (medicore since it only works with canceled bumps which make cooldowns 1.25 seconds longer anyway or with rushing a full 3 seconds either way even with all this its still only 0.25 seconds saved)
everything else is just memes or garbage and the bottom 6 are passible at best so of course people want to use the strongest stuff its only natural
same with perks all of those perks have amazing synergy with blights mobility so why can't they use them

So explain why can killers get the crown just by grabbing it but survivors need to escape with it that's pure BS I died to a body blocking Wraith as Claudette with the crown active on me and to put more salt in the wound it says crown unlocked 500+ go to the cosmetics nope no crown seriously why can't it be if you pick up the crown it's unlocked for the survivor that way you don't need to pull your hair out trying to complete the rest.
It just creates problems if it wasn't like that
if killers didn't get the crown just for playing the match then it causes issues
if they need a 4k, no survivors are getting crowns and they are likely to play sweaty to get it
if they need a merciless killer like their adepts they also have to tryhard but while making your bad experience last longer
But if you are a survivor and you get the crown just for touching it
you can easily do nothing for the rest of the match / suicide on hook and ruin the match of the 4 other players, especially if killer has to double pip since if enough players kill themselves early its physically impossible at high ranks
its fine the way it is since in its current state it encourages killers to do stuff like give hatch and play nice since they don't have to worry
-
Just based on sounds (since I haven't seen one yet) crowns do respawn whenever you hear the global sound cue the crown has moved somewhere else or respawned
many crowns possible
-
You can't win the microgame against the spirit (1v1) but you can win the macrogame against the spirit (1v4) just play smart and efficient and hope for the best
-
They aren't many options for if you want to win a lot
if you want to play something else you have to accept that you might not do as well then if you selected something stronger other wise you are trapped in system of your own creation, and while it is the games fault for having things be stronger or weaker in comparison to each other it is also your fault to force yourself to have to do well. You can either have fun, or win, very rarely can you have both every single time if you only go for winning, maybe try a different angle.
-
11am eastern time probably
-
Perks shouldn't negate other perks this is why I think these perks should negate other perks
Stridor doesn't negate iron will survivors just get less effect out of it
-
Don't forget nod slinger, which is every time you land a shot you have to nod up and down the whole time reeling in the survivor for maximum style points
and Mcdonalds demogorgon (hold m2 the whole time rat liver optional)
-
This isn't actually my opinion I just liked the option too much

Ya forgot the part where Trapper places 5 traps around the crown when it spawns.
It's like flies buzzing to light, I swear.
crowns move automatically (or at least they did during last years event)
probably wouldn't work too well since you also have to find the crown
-
A reward on one side is also a punishment on another killers do usually put in just as much risk as they get out reward from noed, as long as you only focus on the reward of one side you are leaving out 3/4ths of the argument in favor of making a specific point that is no longer counterbalanced by its other factors and claiming that specific point makes something unfair since now its a biased argument

I'm well aware. NOED activating when the gates were powered was a bug that became a feature. In this case, the devs didn't like it and decided to remove it. Like I said: It was a bug, not an intended mechanic.
still lasted 4 years which is old enough for me to consider it a grandfathered in mechanic that was removed say what you will but this is my opinion and it isn't going to change

A Bug is something in the game that is not intended. It was not intended, and is therefore a bug, not an intended mechanic. Age means nothing.
something unintended being/becoming a mechanic is a thing in games especially modern games that have more live design then concrete products

I didn't watch the movie but that doesn't mean it went over my head because that implies it was in there in the first place, its more like it went under my radar since I didn't know about a reference in a movie that I don't know about, its 2 layers deep.

Oh my god, mightybear7, you can't just ask people why they tunnel!
Of course you can ask people why they tunnel, here's a demonstration for you now read closely if you want to repeat what is stated below
"why tunnel"
that remarkable statement leads to such elegance in return such as
why does spiked Arnold palmer taste so bad
deep vein thrombosis
what are you complaining about without me you wouldn't have a match in the first place
because I only have 700 of this addon left and I want to cherish them by playing how I want (one of my most used (I don't use all of them only some of them make of that as you will))
why make me tunnel if you don't want to deal with tunneling
because it helps take off the baby weight
key (likely one)
totems were cleansed and I didn't want to tryhard so I took the easy way out, sorry (X) for tunneling you

I was actually surprised a few weeks back because I didn't know they took this away from him, if they were to give him this and the auto lock he used to have that made curving much more viable than it is now, Billy would be much more bearable for some
*Also fix animations, and only make him scream when he succesfully chainsaws a survivor
It was in the game since release and was removed in bug fix patch 4.1.2, it was in the game for a solid 4 years and 2 months
Also I think the autolock would also be a good change since it makes the risk reward playstyle more rewarding now that he also no longer has addons that remove the risk factors but instead now that he has more addons to increase risk factors but also increase the reward it would be a welcomed change
-
Nah its all just safe pallets now on maps like farm and the game
would have been cooler to stick with more pallets but more unsafe pallets or pallets where both players have the opportunity to outplay each other but now its just pallets that some killers can't outplay and pallets that other killers just have their powers outplay which is a sad development
-

any regression is better than no regression it makes survivors have to at least go tap the gens , 7 seconds is way too long to waste when in most cases gens can take 30 seconds if stacked
but it would still be 6 seconds then
-
Both of them are fine, freddy is very weak to the hold W playstyle that people are finally starting to use, same with doctor, so as time goes on more people will get better against them and they will become weaker thanks to newer killer designs
-
Its in a perfect spot, its a decently strong perk but it has plenty of bad match ups and counterplay
it does waste about 7 seconds of the killers time
1 second from the first kick
4 second blind and stun
2 seconds from the 2nd kick
but honestly you shouldn't be kicking gens that much unless you have a perk for it like overcharge, oppression, or pop, since base regression is really weak, I think its fine the way it is especially since the change would only really save 1 second which is nothing in the grand scheme of things
to be fair its a good learning experience since its giving you opportunities to play around survivor perks and learn what perks they have to find weakspots on them or weaker links on their team
-
