You know with survivor second chance perks?

I think the viewpoint is supposed to be intentionally lower. He's hunched over, so having a lower viewpoint makes sense. Its too low for my liking, but I get the idea they're going for
This.
But still even for a hunchback that is supposed to be normally tall shouldnt be this low.

Would you still take overcharge over one of these?
I'm all ears / discordance / infectious / corrupt ?
I don't prestige so id personally take off bbq, but i think my ideal build is in there somewhere.
Not over Them but i got addicted using overcharge with pop.
Every killer i use pop i use overcharge now idk why
-
Nurses
BBQ
Pop
[Insert perk you like]
The first three are always in my core ph builds because it actually suprises me how many people i hit OR downed with nurses. BBQ is for the bp and pop is a great gen regression perk.
This build is so solid you can go crazy on the last perk slot. I ussually go for overcharge for more value when i use pop. The 4 th perk slot you can bring a lot of different perks and it still works.

1 thing i want to change about the killer:
Add the fatigue on when he misses an attack during his rush
Remove the fatigue when he succesfully hit a survivor with his rush.
Now you are getting punished for using your power perfect and getting less punished for missing
This sounds very weird to me.
Hé needs more changes but this is the first thing that come up with me
-
You know whats funny the blight is listed as a tall killer.
Maybe its because he has a bit of hunchback going on?
-
that grey add-on might be good (that add-on that changes your direction to the survivor) I feel like this add-on should be base kit because of how bad his steering is. It is really hard to focus on the survivor when you cant steer that great and your face starts at the object you smashed.
But yeah it is very hard an clunky.

please stop making new threads about your obsession with werewolf chest hair.
stop it. get some help

Small reminder thats it's the PTB, aiming to... test it's power & stuff ? It may be subject to change, I hope they make their grey addon for power hitboxes basekit since it's so useful to know where your power hitboxes actually hit or not.
PTB is mostly to find bugs. This is the most important role of the ptb.
They rarely do major buffs or nerfs for killers or perks. These changes are a lot of the time small tweaks. The last killer (I think) that got changed a lot at the ptb was ghostface.
And I agree that grey add-on is very good and should be base kit, because of how bad his steering is.

what's his power?
He runs really fast but he cant attack. He must hit an object or a wall to ''slam'' it. Then he can use his power again but THEN he can attack. Its just a basic attack and no one shot. The steering is of this sprint is very weird and bad.
If he is out of his power he has a fatigue like legion, but also he uses charges like new bubba for his power. Every time he uses his power he uses a charge.
This power is very clunky. I dont find it very fun power to play.
-
IDK just played him one time and I find him not really fun to play. This is because he just bonks on every object or wall even when on your POV you didnt touched it. Also his steering is just awful for how fast he rush.
But that was in a match with a high ping but still. I also wonder if the devs do playtesting because when I played this killer he did not have any sound when he attacks. I understand ptb is for bugs but how can anyone not notice this?
So in short this killer has a cooldown, a restriction in his power, and he has recourses to manage (the stacks). For what? To run faster and control his rush really hard?
I feel like they really didnt hit the nail on this balance, so many restrictions in his power for just a fast speed boost not even a one shot.
Note: This was my first match so not everything may be true because i am still a noob with this killer.

Facing at least 2 blendettes in the game is boring as a killer.
You have to kill 1 one of Them because if these 2 survivors are the last one to survive they are going to hold the game hostage.
Because they are going to refuse to do Gens and they Will just hide forever. Unless you play doctor there isnt much the killer can do.
This is my reason I hate blendettes. But i hate claudettes in general with that smart ass face.
-
I am down with this New DS. But i would say it is better that it only deactivates when touching a gen.
This way survivors are more motivated to do side objectives as totems. Just anything else then doing their objective.
However it should also deactivate when endgame collapse start. Because you cant be tunneled in that part of the game.
-
Yes the devs tried this but survivors being rats were absusing this mechanic.
Unless you want to remove every window and pallets near a hook to prevent a survivor running around Being chased by the killer near a hook. Otherwise the survivor can give the hooked person more time and give the team more time for free gens

Well, as much as I am favorable to that, the substantial difference (other than the fact that NoeD is far more common that it should be, with the unnecessary speed boost as well) is that NoeD is there for every (bad) player, while DS is paid content. They can't have you not use something that you paid for. But trust me, as much as I despise both perks, I am starting to see the point into DS. Every single time I play as survivor, I get chased endlessly, because killers all play that way. Chase you until they down you because of Bloodlust, even if it takes them 4 gens to do so. I ran into a PC Billy yesterday (I am on PS4). He took so long to get me that the poor b*tthurt folk facecamped me until I died, hitting me until the very end. With those kinds of players in mind, DS needs to be a thing. If they get purged from the game, however, or at least a change gets implemented that makes the killer gradually slower the longer he chases the same guy... But while I play killer, yes, I get the feeling.
DS should be a thing but must be changed that it deactivate when touching a gen.
You cant be tunneled when you can do your objective
-
If ds is An anti tunnel perk then it should deactivate when touching a gen.
-
Not OP Just high risk high reward.
Iri head + extra hatchets is mediocre risk and high reward
-
So like a person burns a haddonfield offering and then you use the offering to not get haddonfield. That means the chance to get haddonfield Will be the same as other maps?

There is nothing for the survivor to predict. Throw the pallet and take a hit or don't drop the pallet and take a hit. No mind game there. No mistakes by the survivor. The survivor is completely at the mercy of whether the killer screws up at a pallet. That's bad game design. And that's why he's not very fun to go against.
If a killer power was ez countered then it wouldnt be a power would it?
He has no map pressure so that's why he is great at looping because he needs to end chases quick.
-
I feeled the same. I hope they just tweak the mmr system and bring it ,back because a properly functioning mmr can give way balanced matchmaking then we got right now.

Are you that entitled to feel you deserve to get a kill after knocking someone down after they just got unhooked? You are literally making yourself to being a whiny tunneling killer. I do play killer and I play around DS more than unbreakable. Most common perks I see are DS/BT/DH/adrenaline. The old DS was an immunity because killers had to drop survivors before they could get the skill check off. There was no time limit on when you could use it after the first hook. Now, it's up to 60 seconds. Better yet, play pyramid head. He counters those perks with his cage. Get off your soap box.
Are you this entitled to not read my arguments and go for a stupid "you are Just a tunneler that means i am right" argument.
I bet you are the survivor that abuse the perk🤷♂️
Just like i said the killer isnt tunneling when the survivor has time doing their objective.
-
As a basement camping bubba it annoys me that the basement never spawns in the middle of the map for me.
Buff basement

They have to run to said gen after they get unhooked. It's not like it's a total 60 seconds on a gen. You sound like you need to tunnel to get your 4k wins. Immunity means to never pick them up. To counter a tunneler like yourself is good use. Pick your poison. Slug (better option for tunneling) or go after another healthy survivor that you are already chasing.
That doesn't matter if you dont heal yourself its your fault for making yourself an ez target and then you deserve to be focused when the killer finds you.
Are you this entitled that the killer must ignore you because you dont heal and go for a gen immidiately like a gen rusher?
-
If these killer takes no skill then I really want you to know how skillfull survivor gameplay is.
Because a lot of survivors complains that their teammates sucks and you are not very skillfull if you rely on your team that much.🤷♀️

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/181419/why-is-ds-and-unbreakable-allowed
"nerf ds so its a anti tunnel perk not a immunity perk." You know how many times I've gotten tunneled and picked up right after being unhooked? You know why I bring unbreakable? Because I get tunneled and slugged to counter my DS. DS is already an anti-tunnel perk. PLUS, it's from 40-60 seconds of not being tunneled! Where is this immunity you speak of? It's not like it lasts the entire game after getting hooked.
60 seconds DS is enough time to fix a gen around 2/3. So it gives immunity for 60 seconds that some people are going use to gen rush.
If you have time to do Gens you are not getting tunneled.

I mean before mmr the matchmaking was bad. As a person who stays at green ranks, i got LITTERLY every single match at least 2 survivors that were rank 1.
Mmr was way more consistent for me then pre mmr.
-
Whats up with spamming devil emotes in the titel. This is the second threat today that uses this.
-
"Now they were forced to revert the change to matchmaking. Feelsbadman."
Whats that about? Is mmr going away?
-
Why is everyone discussing ds and unbreakable seperated. The combination of these perks has no counterplay or a way to apply pressure for killers.
"but you can just ignore the survivor and go for somebody else". That's not the point! It still has no counterplay and you are 100% going to Lose pressure at all the options you are going to choose.
Options
1. Ignore the survivor with the small pp build, the survivor can now do gens without someone interrupting Them. Then you have to hope you find another survivor to chase or you are going to Lose gens.
2. Smack him on the ground so he can get up with unbreakable, you wasted time chasing this person when he just can get up fast by unbreakable.
3. Pick him up: same as 2 but now you pick him up and he stuns you and you have to chase him again or another survivor. So you wasted the chase time and the 5 seconds stun.
In all the three scenario's there is a big loss of momentum or pressure. That's why there should be changes that these 2 perks dont work together. The perks are fine of course when not Being together.

Huntress is slowed down when she rise her hatchet and have to wait to get the maximum range.
Demogorgon dont bypass palette he destroy them, he's also slowed when he does his m2. so you can still vault without being punished whatever you do.
PH and DS are unique case of lose/lose situation.
PH is also slowed when he is using his power
and heavily punished if misses. Huntress and demo doesn't have that much punishment for missing.
Also Ph power is really bad outside of loops. Demo and huntress still can use their power effectively outside of loops.
-
For a game like dbd where the only new content is DLC and reworks its pretty easy to get burned out. I mostly play the game a lot 1 week then i take a break for 2 weeks.
This is mostly because there arent new gamemodes and every match feels the same. Also there arent that many balanced changes. In League there is a balanced patch every 2 weeks so you can try out the buffed champions also new events. This way you have always something new to try out.
So it is normal for you to get burned out, maybe try another game and come back when you really want to play dbd.
-
Dont feel like ph needs any changes tbh. The baiting attacks is what demo and huntress and deathslinger all can do. Ph excells using his power only at loops. When the survivors hold w he need to go for a M1 because his power is garbage anywhere but loops.
And if there were so many counters to a killer.power then it wouldnt be a power.
Because Lets look at the limitations the power has;
-He.slows himself down when throwing his knife into the ground but also when he is in his.power.
-it shows the shockwave to the survivors before they get damaged al they van react most of the time
-shockwave has a delay.
So in conclusion he excells at looping but has no map pressure so he gets gen rushes into oblivion. That's why he doesnt need any nerfs
-
Biggest reason I camp:
I see every survivor near the hook or when i see Them coming to.the rescue thanks to tracking perks.
Like why should I patrol the gens in that point when i know every survivor is near the hook lol.
-
People with bt unhook also IN A CHASE. Then the unhooker person bodyblocks the killer so he cant go for the unhooker and is forced to hit the bt. Ussually what I do in this situation is that i dont care about the game anymore and i am going to make sure that survivor dies.
A lot of.survivor perks are easily abused for how big of the effect they have.
-
The thing is that survivors always say that tunneling and camping is scummy. If you do this you are going to ruin their games. BUT if the killer wants a chance to win against decent survivors they have to tunnel sometimes in the match because 12 hooks is a lot when games doesn't last long on average.
In short: Playing killer isnt underwelming, but playing 100% fair is underwelming when you play killer.
-
The entity doesn't like it when the killer touches their food when he is already eating.
-
Worse if the new game mode is always avaible.
Best way to implement a new gamemode is like how identity V did it.
You can only do the gamemode at a certain time. This time Will be when there are on average the most players online.
-
I would also say that oni is the perfect balanced killer in the game.
Only infectious fright can make him a bit too strong.
-
You litterly said that totems Spawn sucks. So why should it be nerfed?
Maybe dont gen rush and instead go cleanse the lit totem.
If devourer hope goes off it is the survivors fault for not cleansing it. That's why Hex perks should have devastating effects unlike Hex the third seal. It should be high Risk high reward.
-
Yup that scares me a lot of time as well. But ussually I dont know the survivor is near until i get the pallet dropped on my face. Then I am shocked so hard my mouse Will be thrown to the other side of my room.
-
The fact that you still have the most points with your perks is actually amazing.
I think these survivors Just got carried by their perks but without the perks you and those survivors are on the same skill.level.
-
And I find it unfair that only survivors can get second chances, if we want to bring old DS maybe buff noed as well. Maybe after a gen is completed noed activates for a limited time!
DS was nerfed to make it feel like a more anti tunnel perk. Old DS was "I got downed so I need to rely on this perk to escape". It had nothing to do with camping or tunneling.
-
Its the first Day of this New mmr system and personally i feel the matchmaking is more fair compared to pre mmr. Its definitely not perfect and should be a bit changed. But remember it is only out for 1 day and every survivor and killer need to play 10 games before mmr Will be accurate.
-
The reason they reworked billy and bubba is not of camping but of outdated add-ons. For billy and bubba they changed the power so they cant hold it in front of the survivor. But also buff the weaker killer.
You cant rework these Killers to completely remove the camp, because it will ruin their potential. You can say they cant use their power near the hook, but that means these Killers cant punish over altruistic survivors.
You can also change that bubba cant hit multiple survivors but that would ruin his design. Because he was designed to be able to hit multiple survivors.
-
You know you can also create a new account then if you want to ruin games from noobs.
This wont happen with mmr because the game see that you are an experienced player.
So mmr fix the problem with smurfs
-
Have you looked at the first Guy perks?
Hé is far from new he Just probaly switched to killer or he doesn't play this game a lot.
For the other players it is sad i think.
-
Dont know the add-ons because i watched a YouTube vid so if you want that build you can look up: bodyblocking hag.
Its a pretty meme/ fun build
-
@Cheers said:
Unfortunately to many like you, this is probably the best way for it too work so people can try out different killers.
