To be fair, the devs did ask us to tell them what we think.SenzuDuck said:It's not even gone into PTB yet and you guys are already trying to whine and see what you can get to make up for it.
Hilarious.

>_<CryoHooked said:Woah, Uh That would be a bad idea, due to the fact the game is still mostly killer sided at the moment.

@Bbbrian2013
They also said that by making survivors more powerful it opens killers to be more powerful. Survivors get a little something now, killers get a little more later -
If you have trouble following scratches, try spys from the shadows. The perk will give you audio and visual notification of survivors disturbing the birds.
-
While you're being a hypocritical ass I want to point out that it was YOU who called it a band aid fix. Trying to turn it around on killers is a bullshit strawman argument.powerbats said:@azazer said:
It won't, clearly. Unless you missed it, they already updated placements, created little nooks to hide totems in. It was before the 2.1 patch and it was so laughable it didn't change a thing. If you didn't notice the difference that means the suggestion died before it left your mouth. Totems are too weak, and need an overhaul.
Actually I saw it but I was referring to an actual fix, not the band aid that was tried, the totems still are bright white. So my suggesting didn't die before it left my mouth but you decided to miss that part so you could throw out the childish insult.
Everything you said is just more of the same that the devs have done, which you ######### on, with no noticable difference. It doesn't solve anything. There is not 100 hiding places on the map to hide a totem, which means random spawns are just going to put totems into the open more often which is a huge part of the problem in the first place. If you disguise the totem, it's only a matter of time before survivors simply adapt and know what to look for again not solving anything, just delaying it.
It needs a rework not to pile more dung on the heap.
-
enlighten us with what "an actual fix" looks like. You're suggesting more places to spawn and camo (they did start putting grass in front of totems to obscure then from view). That is the exact same band aid style fix but with a different color scheme. It doesn't change anything.powerbats said:@azazer said:

Fun fact DS is not even a good perk like Ruin but everyone's are using it.All Hex perks are bad because they can be disabled by the Survivors without the Killer having any say in the matter.
False, the killer can nail said survivors going for said hex perks. The killer only has no say if they do nothing about it.
Protect the totem, get gen rushed. Chase after the Survivor who found the totem first, another will come and break it. Either way, you have zero map pressure.
@Sally55 said:
Well that doesn't work vs decent survivors once they can hit skill checks. If you protect a totem you have 0 map pressure and get gen rushed.
100% true. +1
Doesn't negate my point however since the the killer has a choice still. Albeit a bad one but they still have that choice. If they get better totem placement with better camouflage and more random locations that'll help some.
-
They are working with wraith (again) and are possibly giving him windstorm as a standard in his base kit. They are also reworking most of his perks
-
I'll co-sign this. Cyprus Mori is situational at best and a waste of points any time else. Every time I've used it I look like a dick standing over the last survivor waiting for their stubborn team to bleed out on a hook. I had to pick one guy up and carry him away from the open door and drop him and just wait for the hook timer to run out while he was crawling back to the exit. It would be easier and indeed merciful to just end them.
-
Or, be very precise with your salt. I bing bonged a survivor for his whole hook timer and messaged him after asking if he enjoyed my song. Completely non bannable. Then if they abuse you after, sob to the console overlords and ban them for their disproportional response of literary abuse.
-
Coordinate with survivors to all run less hook offerings and sabo squad
-
-
Would be grand but I'm positive both the laugh and song are copyright applicable and would need money incorporate into the game. I bet they payed a pretty penny for myers theme.Dabrownman1812 said:Why not add the hello zepp tune when you're on your last 30 seconds of the rbt?

Camping and tunneling are def approved strategies. And if you don't want stream snipping, don't stream.

What xenoborg said.
In general your survey is biased and your intention is clearly stated. Would you release the data to the devs if it did not support your position? If no, you should just delete this. -
I get that. But punishing the person ruining the game to make them stop should be the goal, not handing out points as a consolation to who is left. Maybe a combination of the two. A warning saying quitting this game will result in a loss of BP taken from their pool, not just in that game. Then those can be redistributed to the players leftOrion said:@azazer said:
Why is it that the thought process is person B rage quit, person A is entitled to something. No. You did not earn the points, you do not get the points. If you DC from a game, you should be locked out of joining a new one until the game you left is over. Any items you brought are forfeit. If that means you DC and it turns into an eight hour hatch standoff, or a 3 gen doc well congrats you just played yourself.Because person B is ruining the game for everyone else.

Might have to do a butcher phobia slug buildChesterTheMolester said:I know, its highly underrated and can be mixed with many builds.
Its Thanatophobia 2.0 in a way, it keeps anyone you hit of any gens for about 30 seconds and hitting survivors around once before or after a chase will keep them busy for a while. -

They are working on it. No ETA at the moment but they will patch when they have a fix.

800k blood points, 10k shards, level 42 devotion.
Ya you didn't know how to refill hatchets. Those glowing yellow lockers weren't clue enough since you just said screw reading her power description.
Look even if you are a survivor main and you truly just picked up killer for the first time, you know the ins and outs of the game. We are more than half way through the season so any survivor with the salt they generate isn't in the play pen ranks anymore. You are a seasoned survivor picking on baby survivors and want to talk ######### about balance. I hope your dog dies when you love it the most -
You definitely have a point about punishing players for doing their objectives. But then you have perks like make your choice and devour hope. Is it punishing the survivor for saves, or rewarding the killer for not camping. If we can make a condition it would be justifiableOxyReap said:I agree with 1 or 2, good idea. I posted mine recently too, if you wanna check it for give your opinion.
I don't like 3 and 4 because it punish survivors for doing good. But why not a perk who can do this kind of thing, maybe a bit less stronger -
Did DbD give you hour long diarrhea? Did the game instruct you to wonder off and meditate on the failure your life is? You CHOSE to leave the game running unattended. You did. Not the game, not the devs.Bug_Reporter said:

I don't really see the problem as long as you aren't putting real life killers in as is. Leather face was based off a real killer, yet there is no outcry for his inclusion in the game. So long as you just call it something else and take a little creative license killers based off real world people isn't some unspeakable taboo.
-
If you're setting traps with them close enough to hear them, they already know you are setting it.
-
Because survivors were already given Omni directional dehooking and a longer hook time as the standard. You want to make it a perk? Fine then let's regress the hook timer to what it was before and survivors can choose to use a perk slot for those mean ol campers instead.
Slower timer when no one is coming to save you? Ok that gives the killer the all clear no one is about. But if they are waiting to farm you, timer goes faster instead. The more survivors, the faster the timer. -
Stbfl was different at the time it came out but in an adept build, IT is the useless perk, not dying light. Gain speed with pwyf, then when you got 3 stacks, tombstone obsession. Dying light activates and as long as you tombstone you won't lose stacks on pwyf.
-
Can't verify, but pretty sure it's in reference to things like mint rag. It overrides that. But if you put a duration add on, it still works. So speed should work too
-
Ok, then no. We will not be getting a server. Question answer and all your complaints addressedDavyisKing said:@azazer said:

Just proves survivor is so easy you can do it with one hand tied behind your back.
Still good job man. Look forward to seeing you post again with a rank 1 killer -
They said there is a known queue issue and they are on it. They'll patch as soon as is resolved

I did this until they changed tinkerer. Purple windstorm, green Swift hunt, tinkerer. At the bottom of the long steps on that landing, stood right on the corner and watched survivor pass right by me. Bing bong, whoosh behind them with windstorm, grab and hook. Haven't tried now that tinkerer changed.ChesterTheMolester said:Step 1. Equip Ghost and Coxcombed Clapper

Seems pretty good honestly, at first i thought its horrible when i thought they traded 12m wallhack into generator wallhack, but 16m is a big buff from 12m, loving it!Now lets hope his base kit gets buff not just add-ons, please no more add-ons reliant killers
I think they said they were adding Windstorm to his base kit but I forget. They are adding something to the base kit tho so that is good.

For those that missed the dev stream, wraith confirmed next, then Freddy because he's getting an overhaul and will take some time

It's so true. Had a bubba ritual, 4 chainsaw hits. Insidious and knockout core perks. Chase down one, hook, stand behind a rock and wait. Hand full of seconds later, ambush and chainsaw. Let the DS user crawl off and wait again. 10 seconds later, sabo Jake downed.Envees said:@Fropps said:

one must camp/tunnel to rank up. just the way it is. one of a few reasons why i never will.I don't know how you're supposed to rank up while camping. Tunneling is just basic strategy. If you camp, you sacrifice basically all your map pressure.
I set up a tent for every surv from 20 to 1 pip away from rank 10. Was not too hard. Had i cared earlier and had enough time before the rank reset i would have gone higher but with far more frustration trying to swat flies off of the rotting meat that i slapped on the hook.
Camping is so legit it's painful. They come right to you, forsake gens, and easy rank up. -
Eh good bait, made me click.
Just know that words have power. You calling her OP opened that can of worms. -
I use traps by herding survivors to the traps. I can just pick them up and not care about the damage. Works fine for that play style
-
That's how we got BBQ, pop goes the weasel, make your choice, devour hope. People still camp because survivors make it viable.Nick said:Punish campers? Or can we reward people who go for fresh hooks?
PUNISHING(!) is never a solution! REWARD people, never punish! -
Billy sprint and wraith invisibility. Not the instant down death Bonanza everyone else is putting, but can you imagine cutting off a running survivor and bing bong in from of the window they were going for? Body blocking then in a corner don't a gen? The response time when someone is unhooked in the basement? Wraith would be a monster with any kind of mobility buff, even with his hobbled uncloaking speed.
