Its not toxic to camp or tunnel.
Please dont use bad words like this.. Also wounder why they didnt got cencored tho.
The action itself is nowhere near toxic. However the intent is. If you camp or tunnel in an effort to make someone mad, or prevent them from even playing the game you are toxic.

This is how you offer advice without being condescending, thank you. I was thinking I'll just pick her up again and play with stridor, so that I can try and see what any survivors can do to throw me off. With a good headset though it doesn't matter, when I played her months ago frequently I could follow the sound of people's footfalls even with Iron Will, have no idea how you would "mindgame" that. Maybe sound bugs that are in the game recently will change this.
If it makes you feel better at 3k hours still have no real consistent way to beat a spirit. All I can tell you is main iron will, pray shes bad, pray she doesnt have a good headset pray she has no stridor, and delay that first hit. Once she gets it, you are dead. Oh yeah and dont forget to make correct guesses which are heavily in the killers favor multiple times in a row to last in chase.

He has addons that can make it faster. It general though it is quite slow and plenty of time to reach a loop.
I don't think maps have any lack of pallets to combine with that, if anything most have too many. Definitely not free hits.
His fatigue is not slow at all. He is barely punished from it.
Gas heaven, wreckers yard, azarovs resting place, Thompson house sometimes(jungle gyms make up for it).

Literally just loop him like every other killer. He used his power? Use the amazing power of stand behind a rock and circle it till he cancels his power. Now you run to the closest loop. That easy.
Most people make the mistake of running when he uses his power. Just stop running and stand behind an object.
The problem with that is he has minimal fatigue a problem my friend and I have noticed. He messes up and misses a hit her he can recover fast? Combine that with tne lack of pallets on some maps he gets a free hit no matter what.

No, chases aren't fun to everyone. It's an odd believe, but to some people clever evading the killer is more fun. Showing how well one can use the enviroment.
As people said, fun IS subjective, but this community is so dead-set on what you said, that only chases are fun, and that some killers are thus ruining the game because they require a change of that tactic. Which is, in a way, telling people who don't enjoy chases (for what reason ever) that they are not welcome.
Also, I don't think the kate was a streamer, dunno.
But the point stands: when you get obnoxious because people don't cater to you, there's something amiss. If you begin ruining the match for others cause you don't get your way, wth.
It is an objective fact chases are the interaction on the survivor side. Now the majority of the community likes chases because of that. Hiding is boring, doing gens is loadbar sim. None of that is fun.
Maybe some players like hiding but I think tis safe to say the majority of the community can agree chases are fun whh do you think they hate deathslinger so much.
Also how many posts are you gonna make about him? It's kinda how I used to be except you seem to be find with his absurd power.

Just wanted to say, from a console player perspective, some PC players are also brain-dead pallet campers who bring the team down. It isn't a platform problem, bad players exist on all platforms. Spirit has been nerfed, maybe you just didn't pay enough attention? Last thing, stop blaming your shortcomings on the game.
I will comment on the spirit thing. Spirit was nerfed but it did hardly nothing. She still has no real tells or counterplay and shes still viable at top play which is great.

Its totally fine to take a break but please don't make Pyramid Head out to be a bad guy he's really a great addition to the DBD roster.
It was a personal opinion. It is however an objective fact he gives too many lose/lose situations with no counterplay.

Mk11 does have some problems but the good certainly outweighs the bad. Also, what's rouge company? It sounds pretty fun.
Rogue company is like csgo but 3rd person and each rogue (character) has different abilities, passives, and guns. It has multiple game modes but I prefer demolition because to me its competitive.

Not overly?
Due to killer's powers being unlinked from each other and their perks unlike survivor's if DS causes design space issue with a perk they can literally make it not work with him due to being unlinked.
They have done so with PWYF having different actions being allowed/disallowed on a killer by killer basis for what uses a token or not so its already something they do in the game.
Ok but what does that have to do with things having an oppressive ability in the game?
-

Perhaps you have forgotten early on in the thread, this has really dragged out, where you called them amateurs? Opinions vary. And for the record, no I'm not part of the DEV. I'm just saying at this point the goodbye is starting to feel like this:
I called them amatuers because they struggle to fix simple bugs and the game happens to have a new bug every patch. Not once did I mention them taking anything from me.

Given the history of the game survivors receiving nerfs makes sense since they have always been stronger then most killers for most of the game's existance.
Also Survivor perks being so strong hamstrings the rest of the possible perk buffs the developers can do because they'd have to consider if it would be too overpowered because of DS/Unbreakable.
Also I know nerfing DS won't magically make everything good but I feel like its nerf will let the game move on as DS is both oppressive in gameplay as it is in design space it takes up.
I'm not saying none of the stuff will be nerfed but I am saying nobody bought the game to play a side that gets a nerf damn near every patch. Also we could sue that same oppressive logic with slinger.

If you need a break, take a break. If you are really here to just vent on what you don't like about the game, just say that is what this thread is about. I'm not trying to be mean here, but this thread is starting to just feel like every other "I'm upset about what you took from me" thread on this Forum. My own rule is if I stop having fun, I move on. I respect that. When I do it though, I simply exit stage left. We all get burnout. I too, will eventually play DbD less (or not at all). But when I do it will because "I" am no longer happy and thus "I" am the problem and thus "I" am taking the appropriate steps.

I am sorry about making it "Us Vs Them" but:
I was mainly bringing it up because its an infinitely repeating cycle of these forums that I am personally getting sick of seeing and it mainly(But not exclusively) applies to the survivor side of the player base.
The meta changes offered by survivors are nerfs instead of changes thatsbwhy they are usually against it. I was gonna bring up this point in my original post but I will say it now.
Playing survivor really sucks because at some point whatever you have is gonna get nerfed. It's been happening since 2016 and it started getting worse when clown came out in for nerfs.

Lets also add that the moment anyone brings up changes that would change the stale survivor meta would be harassed by the same survivors complaining the game is stale.
Also the same survivors complain about seeing the same killers every game also complain about less common killers until they are nerfed and are seen even less making their own issue far worse(You can see this currently with Deathslinger an uncommon average/below average killer).
Can you not make this an us vs them. Nobody is complaining nobody is fighting you didnt have to do it but you did. Now if you have nothing better to say leave.

Personally I've always returned when some sort of new content is released or an event starts, so on top of returning to the game there's something new or at least unusual going on as well. Tends to be a good time to return to any game a player takes a break from.
I took like a 6 months to a year break and returned last year. It felt good I learned all the new killers and mechanics and made new friends. This time it might be permanent the game is too bad for me.

I think people who are needlessly rude in the game are likely to behave likewise in real life. Crime? No. Being a bad sport isn't a crime in real life either. Your behavior, your manners, are your personal brand. Do I believe people who cheat with hacks and lag spikes are likely to cheat and be unethical in the real world too? Yes. In my experience, there is a direct correlation. So rude in game, rude in life. Unethical in games, unethical in life. I suppose there could be normal, well-adjusted people (the exception) who come into the virtual world and just turn into obnoxious jerks to vent their personal spleen (but that is not my personal experience).
My question to you is WHY do you feel it is so important to defend unsportsmanlike conduct? Why do you think it is important that we lower our standards rather than elevate them?
To answer your question. It goes beyond jsut being unsportsmanlike behavior. It is technically a strategy to throw your opponents off. It also is just a video game crouching cant hurt you nor s hi ould it really bother you. Maybe in the moment cause you are angry but thats exactly what they are trying to do.

You are correct in saying that bad sportsmanship is not a offense you can be banned for (depending on severity) while cheating is... but they are very much the same thing. It is a matter of degree. I am very open about my bias. I think people who behave poorly in the game, are very likely to do it in real life too. Manners matter. So when I'm at the gate, and exiting and see some of the Survivors with me T-bagging the Killer, I give them a thumbs down (and I might even mention it in post game chat). Does this do much? No. But lowering our standards and expectations of behavior is not something I'm willing to do. So yes, T-bagging is the behavior of spoiled children and creeps. I give my Killer (win or lose) a GG or say nothing at all.
I have played Gears of War (fun game). Just because I don't approve of people behaving poorly doesn't mean I wither and die when they do it. It doesn't do anything to me other than let me know what kind of person YOU are. If that is how some people want to brand themselves, I can't stop them. However, their behavior is going to reflect on me when they are part of the same community as me. I do feel a responsibility for reporting and calling out such behavior so that it isn't assumed I condone (or agree with it) by my silence.
So you think someone doing a repeated crouch means someone is gonna go commit a crime in real life. Look no offense but let's not have this conservation I dont want to type paragraphs over this.

Unsportsmanlike behavior is a choice; it is not built into the game. So are there defective creeps who T-Bag in DbD (as well as many other games)? Sure. But is it PART of the game itself by intent? No. So it would be more correct to say T-bagging is part of bad sports. In the same way, hacking and lag spikes to cheat are NOT part of the game, but people do these things too. That doesn't make them part of the game. Do you follow?
Did you call someone a "creep" for pressing the crouch button multiple times. Do me a favor and never play gears of war you will never last a day.
I can understand it gets under people's skin when in the moment but wll it is crouching. Tbagging is no where near cheating or hacking it isnt breaking rules all you are doing is taunting your opponent. Smash bros even has a built in taunt system.
Tbagging is a good way to throw your opponent off by making them do bad decisions.

I think Bamboozle is fine. Survivors should have to worry that there is one option out there that can punish their looping and time-wasting chases. You know... like Decisive... or Adrenaline... or Borrowed Time... or Iron Will... or Sprint Burst... or Dead Hard... you see my point?
I don't think the perk is op. Not at all. On some maps it lacks the resources to countering it sometimes. Also none of those perks you mentioned are op for the survivor side. They ate simply good perks, would you rather us use dark sense?

I remember the asylum, rancid abbatoir and wretched shop infinites.
The rest just had god windows, not infinites, since the windows could still be blocked by the entity.
If you are referring to the god double windows on top of Ironworks, that was removed way before curtain call.
No I'm referring to the bottom window. That was an infinite. Also infinite is a blanket term since all those windows could still be blocked they were massive time wasters. Suffocation pit was an infinite. Coal tower had one that you could probably shift tech into a real infinite.

Again, it is "When killers use Bamboozle, they catch me."
It's clear you do care about being caught, you just don't like you got caught when a killer has the foresight to take something that removes options you're counting on. There's nothing outdated about the perk, the perk arrived on Clown, who was specifically designed to make looping harder. By your own standards, Clown should be wrecking shop because his "Outdated kit" was designed for the infinite loop era and everyone is just open and without cover.
Windows still exit, 1-2 minute tile looping with windows still exists, all kinds of stall-the-game survivor perks still exist. The entire rationale for Bamboozle still exists. Just because it was introduced as a half-measure solution to infinite looping doesn't mean it no longer has purpose for reason within the game. If you're a window happy looper who always counts on having that one extra jump to extend a chase by 30 more seconds, then Bamboozle is for you.
My goodness are you deliberately ignoring what I am saying? My whole problem with the perk is that the counterplay which is either chaining windows or pallets isnt really reliable. The jungle gyms/ LT walls are absurdly spaced and you cant chain them, while the filler pallets are down within 10 seconds. Clowns kit was designed around anti looping not anti infinite his kit isnt outdated. The perk was designed around stopping infinites.
I don't deny window looping doesnt exist. Bamboozle is a killer dead hard in a sense it can outplay you with he press of a button. One more time. I dont care about being caught I just want to be able to chain my tiles and counter the perk.
-
@bjorksnas said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1676915#Comment_1676915
chaining tiles is skillful so when a killer blocks a window with bamboozle loop to another tile, case closed
I would if there was some.
-
@MasterofSFL said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1676917#Comment_1676917
That is your complaint, I just went through all your posts. You're complaining it's giving "free hits" to killers because survivors don't have 30 options for an out when being chased. The perk literally is meant to stop repeated looping through windows and force a change in pathing for the survivor. The fact that infinite looping isn't the problem it apparently was in the past doesn't make the perk outdated or out of place, it means infinite looping isn't the problem it was and Bamboozle still stops repeated looping through windows. So yes, your whole complaint amounts to "When killers use Bamboozle, they catch me."
I never said is ant 3 options I simply shave been stating that chaining windows (bamboozled counterplay) isnt possible when the tiles have absurd space in between them. Then I said even if you try to chain a filler pallet they are down within 10 seconds and even then they are rng based so you might bot even have them to spawn.
Yes it is outdated you said it yourself they ni longer exist so the perk bamboozle is outdated. Infinites does not mean repeated window vaults it meant never dying when you had that window. I dont care about being caught it's how the perk takes no skill and you simply "outplay" someone due to its nature .
-
@MasterofSFL said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1675883#Comment_1675883
The entire point of Bamboozle is to stop loops and force the survivor into leaving or starting a failed loop. This complaint just amounts to "When killers use Bamboozle, they catch me." Yes, that's the point.
No that's not my complaint dont put words in my mouth. Actually it was meant to bandaid fix infinites :)
-
@bjorksnas said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1676304#Comment_1676304
they keep putting space between jungle gyms because jungle gyms are strong against a majority of killers and spacing in the past made them feel helpless as a majority of the cast, plenty of windows in this game are 2-3 free vaults anyway, cutting it down to 1 as a perk helps bandaid fix any rough map generation as well for the killer because it gives them a way to fight back.
The perks original intension is gone, that doesn't mean people already weren't using it for any other reason.
I understand why they are putting space between tiles but on killers like bubba or billy it's almost a free insta down. You need to be able to chain windows to stop that type of insta down and besides chaining tiles is skillful.
You could technically say the same about DS people found other ways to use it outside of tunneling.

Yes indeed git gud.
And that ought to prove what exactly? You should talk from survivor perspective, a killer running bamboozle doesn't bother me much as the first time he uses it I know about it when we are in a chase and rarely this results in a hit, i suggest you keep an eye on the killer this prevents you from running to a blocked window.
You made the claim, so deliver proof. Btw big brain play on your trapper, instead of placing a trap, use a perk slot for a bothersome window when your power had ended the chase much faster. *slowclap*
Are you deliberately ignoring what I said and why the perk gives hits for free. Tiles such as jungle gyms have absurd space between them. Rng keeps filler pallets away from jungle gyms sometimes so it's a free ehitnwhen trying to find one.
Also I was referring to situations where he doesnt have a trap in his hand. I guess you could say wraith since his power doesnt help in chase. It's afree hit or early pallet drop.
