I would love for the devs to bring back for a weekend the old undying just to see how it compares up to CoH, is it as bad as people say or its it even the only way we will ever know is if they did a test like that.

The perk is fine now lol. Are you really as good as you think you are?
The perk is far from fine if that was the case then undying was fine the way it was and didn't need the nerf it got but it was unfun for survivors to have to cleanse all 5 totems if unlucky to get rid of ruin, but yet CoH has no limits on how often it can be used in a match, only 1 person needs to bless a totem for the whole party to be able to use it and if put in the right spot if a killer has a nice 3 gen survivors can run away heal then come back killers don't have the time to find the totem and snuff by the time they do the last gen could pop buy hey i guess that's fair because its a survivor perk.
-
@legacycolt said:
You can use the new perk that’s coming next week if circle of healing is bothering you that much
But yet survivors found it to hard to use items and perks to counter old undying bit of double standards here, its fine for killers to need to use a perk to counter 1 perk but survivors didn't want to bring any perks or items to counter old undying.

@Veinslay said:
But it only takes 0.5 seconds to snuff!!!
But it can be blessed as many times as it can throughout the match and not just that one totem, if killers know you are blessing the same one over and over then the survivor can just find another one to bless, it needs the treatment undying got it can only be used so many times per match least this way survivors have to plan where and when they bless a totem. say you get 2 charges do you do one at start then the end, mid match and end of the match, not like now lets bless a totem and if it gets snuffed we can just rebless it with no real downside.

Maybe if you realize that you're up against low-skill survivors, ease up on the clutch a little bit?
Today's baby survivors could use a little nurturing to develop into tomorrow's stable playerbase, after all!
But would the survivors do the same to low skilled killers ease up and let them get a few hooks or a kill it's fine to ask one side to do it if the other side is willing to do the same thing, if i play a killer i haven't played or touched in ages i have yet to see survivors ease up and let me get some hooks or a kill but if im playing killer and i can tell they are new or having a hard time i'll get my bbq stacks then just have some fun after.
I'll still chase and down them but instead of hooking them i'll let the teammates pick them up, if they are having trouble because im putting to much pressure and ruin just keeps taking the gens back to 0 ill show one of them were ruin is so the game can move along and depending on the killer i play i might meme around a bit i.e the pig ill see how many people i can get to boop the snoot.

Yeah, its boring to have to explain over and over again that 1 sec for killer = 4 for survivors
People keep thinking this game as a "me the sruvivor vs him the killer" whereas its a 4v1 game so a side HAS to be stronger than the other
CoH denies completely this "killer is stronger" since even SETTING A BOON is time efficient for survivors
Which was the point i made as to the post i quoted "CoH is inability of killer player to go and snuff the totem" there is only 1 killer and a CoH placed in the right spot can have a lot off advantages and saying just snuff it out is no counter to it as a killer might have to do that 3-5 times a match, Like you said its a 4v1 game not a 1v1 so people saying just snuff them out should have no problem if old undying came back.
If survivors expect killers to snuff a totem 3-5 times a match or just give up on it i.e its on the other side of the map where the gens have been done so its more of a waste of time killers snuffing it then it is to leave it and protect the last few gens should have no problem if old undying came back as there is 4 survivors to cleanse or bless 5 totems and only 1 killer to snuff boon totems multiple times or be placed in a spot where they are better of leaving it and giving survivors a free spot to heal.
All i'm saying is if survivors are happy for killers to snuff a boon totem 3-5 times a match then why was old undying nerfed when it asked for survivors to do the same thing even with survivors having items and perks to find totems, killers have to spot it or hear it to find it so in a 4v1 game leaving boon totems with unlimited uses is worse then old undying.

That's right cause its fair for killers to have to snuff a totem 3-5 times a match but it was to much to ask survivors to do the same with old undying when there was 4 people to do it not just one?

I main Myers, he is fun if you like stealthy Killers and mindgames because his TR is insignificant, unless your idea of fun is stomping without much trouble he is enjoyable to play as.
Tombstone addons are totally busted and have to go, especially the piece, they break the game and punish the person who didnt screw up because the 2 first to get drained are the ones who dont get killed first.
Now is that the addons are busted, the person playing the killer or how evil within is set up, you might have to stalk the first 2 and then a small bit of the 3rd to get to tier 3 you can't 99% and go back to the first 2 they are empty so your choices are hit tier 3 and try and find the first 2 and if your using a piece could run out by the time you find them or kill the person in front of you.
If you could stalk survivors again i.e once empty after a while you can stalk them again that will allow players to go after the first 2 and kill them first for letting him stalk for that long but you can't, you can stalk a bit of each survivor to not have that problem and once 99% you can pick anyone but then you lose a lot off time doing that.
The addons are fine as both of them have a downside if Myers is getting his tiers to quick then look at your teammates and not blame the killer, the amount of times a survivor has dropped a pallet and stood there staring at me while i stalked them it's not funny then someone else dies to a addon and complains its not fair. Well sorry your teammates wanted to stare at me after every pallet they are the ones punishing the person that didn't screw up not the addons.

im constantly getting matches with Michael Myer mains who have the insta mori ability.
i literally just got out a round and only got ONE THOUSAND bloodpoints because i got insta killed? like what? and its not like there is even a counter to it or an ability to know beforehand you can just be insta killed?? who even allowed that into the game? who said ‘yeah sure lets give the really fast killer a ability to insta kill healthy survivors with addons that let Evil Within III go on infinitely’
First off how did you only get 1k bloodpoints be it the tombstone or just the piece takes a lot to get it to tier 3 and if they had unlimited tier 3 even more so you should of got a gen or 2 done, maybe a couple chases, totems. So if they had both iri addons most times only 1 or 2 gens is left by the time you hit tier 3 unless your other 3 teammates just stood there looking at him which at that point is not the killers fault but your teammates, Also the iri tombstone lowers your speed by 9% at tier 3 and the "yeah sure lets give the really fast killer" made me laugh do you know how slow he is until you get out of tier 1.
If the killer is taking a while to level up in tiers start to expect a tombstone piece is in play i.e 2 gens are done and they just got to tier 2, once your exposed and it doesn't go away after a bit then you know they have unlimited if you can work out the first one at least that its taken them a while to lvl up then smash out those gens and get out of there and try not to let him stalk you. All this is dependent on your teammates if they are feeding him because they are not looking around or they see him and just don't care.

You are supposed to save and then split. Not stay together like sheeps. Even if 2 are on gens that's way enough with how many pallets are on the map.
now is it the killers fault that they didn't save and split but wanted to heal up first under the hook knowing the killer was just around the corner because 1 survivor rushed to get the save?

No, tunneling has counters if everyone has BT.
you say your a killer main with or without BT how many survivors are going for a save before you have left that area, you make it basekit it still won't stop survivors going for the save to soon the killer has 2 people at a hook why would you leave.

The issue isn't that I'm not getting tunnelled I am A LOT. lets say 1/10 games I miss the skill check. 2/10 the killer slugs. 2/10 the killer is nurse/ blight or spirit, high mobility incredibly fast downing speed making the perk have far less value. 1/10 games after I land the DS is screw up or get genuinely outplayed and go down fairly quickly after the stun. Does those numbers seem fair? 6/10 games I do not feel like the killer the is properly punished for tunnelling. This takes up an entire perk slot just to punish a playstyle that is already toxic. I know that tunnelling already punishes the killer by rewarding few points and lets say in most cases your teammates do the objective and 3 escape. All that means is is not only does nobody win as the person who dies get nothing and the people who did the objective won't pip in I believe silver onwards with zero benevolence and zero chase. But I still am miserable even if I help my teamates escape As for the bleedout point, I would make it the perk works by stunning the killer when they hit the survivor and giving the survivor the mettle of man effect.
The same could be said for killers with all of that, how many perk slots do killers have to use to try and slow the pace off the game down, instead off running new builds, builds to meme around with etc A lot of killers can't and they are forced to run perks so slow the game sown.

Test it next time and see that and see what happen;s some survivors will leave to 2nd hook, so if gates are open and the survivors get the other person off the hook they have BT + DS = they escape

Because boon perks benefit survivors, making them a secondary objective instead of something the killer imposed on them to prevent them doing their main objective.
I know the intent is to make it look horrendously survivor sided, but in order for one side to have a secondary objective, that side has to benefit from it.
Also, obligatory "boons and hexes are not the same mechanic" reminder.
But now survivors have imposed another objective on killers by snuffing the blessed totems out and its not like after the 5th time no more totems can be blessed, by trying to snuff out blessed totems the killers is being prevented from their main objective.
It works both ways with boon totems and hex undying as they both fall into the same area of survivors doing totems, undying got nerfed so will be interesting to see what happens with boon totems.
-
@Lochnload_exe said:
I am seeing this same thing all over the forums, and all over social media for the game. It is killer's complaining about the game and that the devs "are survivor sided" and "only make killer worse". This couldn't be further from the truth (I never have to worry about keys again, this is huge), and while killers DO have a right to complain, it needs to actually be educated. It is super unhealthy for the game to say stuff like they are gutting characters for no reason, when there actually is a clear reason. Slinger nerfs were more than warranted, they were extremely unhealthy for the game.
*NOW, DOES THAT MEAN DEATHSLINGER DIDN'T DESERVE A BUFF?* No, it doesn't. Deathslinger most certainly deserved compensation for the nerfs, but those nerf were most overdue. The next thing is people saying it wasn't deserved because he was low tier. I can only assume the people saying this don't actually play both sides and don't understand what is good design and what is not. Being low tier doesn't justify horrible game design, it wasn't just "they want the survivors to have more fun", it was "they want the game to be enjoyable and a balanced experience." I still remember people saying the spirit nerf was unjustified also, this is just plain silly.
There are definitely reason to complain as killer. No good gen regression as base. Survivor healing being way overtuned. Things like that are base game problems that could be fixed and it would be infinitely better, and they are getting there. The devs have shown that they will listen to GOOD changes and ideas, like the trapper changes, and the slinger changes were also suggested lots. You know what the devs don't listen to? Ideas that are just insanely wild, actually I have never seen the mods in this forum correcting people so much until recently, it is hilarious to see.
Boons are a great change and a healthy one at that, they give buffs to survivors which require them to leave their objective to do, a secondary objective we have been asking about for a long time, and an objective that is fairly easy to deal with as killer. The problem with them are the existing problems they highlight. Nerfing the boons aren't gonna fix how busted healing is and has been. Nerfing shadowstep isn't going to fix bad map design.
Being a killer is not as horrible as it is put out to be, and it is sad to see so many players pushed away from joining because people think killers are ignored and never get attention, despite the great buffs and reworks we've been seeing from the team. Yes, there are definite things that need changed for killer and they are problems that have been there the entire time, but complaining about things that are hardly a problem, and plain spreading lies and misinformation, is not how change is made.
TL;DR: Stop complaining about things that are hardly problems, and actually be upset with real game balance issues. Whataboutism is a plague in this community and we should work together to make the game better.
You say boons give survivors a secondary objective by blessing totems, killers have a perk that gave survivors a secondary objective which was old undying, look what happened to that survivors complained about it and that it was not fun and to hard if you have to destroy all 5 even though survivors have perks and items to help find totems so it got nerfed.
Now the devs bring out a perk that benefits survivors and can make the killers game even harder survivors are more then happy to look for totems to bless them and killers have no real hard counter to boon totems , At least with old undying survivors knew it was you get lucky and find the right hex or you end up destroying a max of 5 totems now how many times can a survivor bless a totem im pretty sure its more then 5.
So how can you claim boons are a great change and a healthy one when survivors claimed old undying wasn't?

Tbh, i don't use the perk, I'm happy with my set up and boons don't really improve it enough to swap out one of my perks. That being said I still don't get the issue. I mean if people are really upset that despite taking longer to bless than destroy, a boon can be placed on a hex, then sure, advocate for hex totems to not be boonable. I mean even in the 10 games I played to test the perks out, I destroyed hex's rather than bless because I didn't want to spend more time blessing than I would just getting rid of it, and from the sound cues I've been hearing, most boon players are going for the same approach.
At the end of the day, unless your Hex happens to be in a HIGHLY loopable area, it just isn't efficient to bless over destroying. I just don't think adds much to the argument that boons should just be tossed on the garbage heap.
They shouldn't be tossed on the garbage heap but they also need to be looked at and how they work, like someone said a hex can only be destroyed once the totem no longer stands (even says it on the perks) blessing still leaves it standing so if a killer snuffs out that totem why does the hex not come back or the killer can relight that same totem again to bring back the same hex.
There is a few ways the devs could of went with blessing and hexs but they picked one that doesn't go with how both perks say each one is meant to work, if a survivor finds a hex and destroys it no problem they did what the perk says to do to get rid of it blessing it is pretty much bypassing what needs to be done and if you snuff it out they can just rebless the new dull totem that's where the problem is.

I hate that hexes are gone when boons are applied to them. so hexes should comeback into play when snuffed.
Even the perk states while the totem is still standing blessing still leaves the totem standing so it should come back when you snuff one out, the devs need to work out what to do with blessing hex totems.

run a expose build and just 1 hit every survivor then boon totem problem fix.
still not a counter as there are killers that can 1 hit see the problem now if that's the best you can come up with then yer noed is fine it might suck to get hit by it or killed by it but it has counters and also remb the killer is only running 3 perks for most off the match also for a chance 1 might come into play, boon perks have 0 counters and are broken in more ways then 1.

Well how about killers stop telling us when someone makes a complaint about noed (do bones and use totem build aka detectives, small game and maps when there is ofc slight chances sometime the killer do not even have noed which then has become a waste of space for more useful other perks. No one is gonna running something that do not benefits em or situational its easier in SWF sure fine its not an issue but random queues, mercy am so tired of repeating the same thing that killers try to throw back at us.
we told for how long do bones do bones do bones, run bone builds, we now doing bones via boon totem perk that encourage people to do them (which now reduce the gen rushing killers complain about) and now its an issue. When I think of it why dont killers use 4 expose type perk, if you 1 hit people , how will boon totem help then?
The issue is boon perks are to strong with no counter on the killers side if the perks aren't as strong as they are then killers wouldn't complain, in all off what you said you didn't list 1 good counter to boon perks which is the problem, people might hate noed but it has ways to counter it do bones (which you had perks and items to help before boon perks), do the hex when you find out the killer has noed or just leave and give the killer that 1 kill. Noed has counters and perks/items to help with it boon perks have no counter at all to them if your so happy with boon perks and don't think they need a nerf then let them bring back old undying and if we get rid off a blessed totem the hex comes back as the totem is still standing as per the perk (The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing) blessing them still leaves them standing so why don't we get the hex back?
We both know gen rushing still happens and its another problem for another thread but ill put it simple for you boon perks need a nerf or a adjustment, why can a survivor bless a hex to me that shouldn't happen you should only be able to break that totem as both perks should be in effect as the hex totem is still standing. If undying got nerfed because survivors didn't want to do bones then boon perks are on the same page as it brings something to a match the killer can't counter at all unless you can name 1 and finding the totem and putting the blessing out is not a counter, so all of us killers are waiting to hear your great counter to these perks?
-
@LeonxJiwoon said:

Ahahah I can agree with that, issue is we was always just slap with the do bones thing and what urks is so much complaints of boons now its like a no win at this point, where told to do to counter it, we finally get perks that encourage more on doing totems but now is being bash all over the place and is wanted to be deleted then it ends up going back to now survivors complaint on noed, a non ending merry go around. Issue with small game and detective hunch is that there really was no big awards for using those perks and is nitche to where sometimes a killer wont even have noed, Least boon totems does not feel a 100% lost for doing bones when killer had no NOED. Perhaps if small game/detectives had given some type of benefits then there be no need for boon totems.
Also on dead hard, but look how to me killers with their strange hit boxes clap you with dead hard or even pallets that you for sure felt that pallet was thrown, or ofc the meme yes you hit the killer with the pallet but they still down you
Killers got a perk that encouraged survivors to do totems old undying and look what happened to it, it got nerfed within months because survivors didn't want to do 5 totems and was unfair yet they had perks and items to find totems, Now you get a new perk to do totems that the killer has no real counter to it and you wonder why killers are asking for it to be nerfed.
Really what counter is there to the boon perks atm? find the totem and put it out for the survivors to relight it once the killer leaves, they bless your hex you put it out you don't get your hex perk back. See the problem killers have with the perks and that's not counting how strong they are, it's fine to give survivors perks like the boon perk but it needs to be balanced where as atm there not and they do need a nerf or like people have said let killer relight the hex perks again and see survivors complain about that.

Hexes and Boons aren't the same mechanic- they aren't (and can't be) balanced the same way.
But they need to be balanced the same way high risk high reward, set it so survivors can only bless a totem twice same as if the killer was running ruin and undying. the fact that you can bless over a hex is bullshit if you find a hex totem then it gets destroyed not blessed .

I have always ran around and did totems…. But I would priories gens unless ruin was up…..old undying was borderline obnoxious…. It’s fine where it is now… you complain we “gen rush” when there is nothing else to do… they add something else to do and you still complain… is there not a pattern going on here…………
I'm just pointing out that survivors are saying they are happy to find totems to bless and having a 2nd objective to do now but they had that with old undying but because it helped the killer and not survivors it was OP and they didn't like it. But because boon totems help survivors they have no problem looking for totems to bless, it's got nothing to do with gen rush but the fact they added something else to do for survivors but because it favored the killer it was unfun and survivors didn't want to look for totems.
Flip the coin and bring in boon totems that help survivors by looking for totems and survivors are happy to look for totems as it gives them something else to do, at the base both perks had survivors looking for totems but one was not fun for survivors and got nerfed the other one is fun for survivors as it gives them buffs depending on the perk but at the core it's just like undying survivors having to find totems.

If survivors are so happy to run around and find totems now then old undying should come back.

Why are they so struggling to go against? Besides the obvious bugs with them, I played a large amount of matches as ghostface and I was doing fantastic, I even stopped bringing as much slowdown, having surge be my only gen perk, and I was still winning because boons are a time waster. I'm not going against any weaker survivors either, I've been more of a killer main for about 4 years now, and survivors finally have a secondary objective. Every time I did come across a boon playing naturally I would just kick it fast and move on lol
They had one before a secondary objective it was undying only difference is now it benefits the survivors so they are happy to go look for totems.

You mean like they did with hex undying they nerfed that because survivors didn't want to look for totems, break them and made the game harder for them. Now survivors have a perk that able's them to bless a totem even a hex totem and can be used as much as they want to there happy to find totems now. Funny how that is when it's something OP that helps survivors they are fine with it even looking for totems but it was to much work when it was something that helped the killer?

Stridor is still nice and not every single survivor brings iron will, but even then if your running past survivors because you can't hear their loud breathing try a different form a tracking.
Footsteps cannot be hidden or reduced in anyway, iron will is pointless when they start running near your position so I don't get why some killers want such a replicable perk back.
Alongside all the killer powers/perks that make survivors scream and reveal themselves I don't see a big deal with stridor's current function.
You mean just like how survivors need to stop over relying on very specific perks to carry them like BT, DS, UB, DH, SB should i keep going?

TLDR: Bad players or just novices (people who are not very skilled) should not use noed because their mmr gets higher And their games will be much harder than they should.
Noed is just pity kills perk which allows you to kill 1-2 survivors more without any effort or skill, which means bad players using noed will get their mmr much higher than their actual skill to the point where games are unbearable even with noed.
Bad players, do not use noed because you will suffer a lot
edit: please do not post noed is fine comments. Post is not about that. Noed is balanced perk is a fact. Noed gives you kills you don't deserve is a fact too. Stop.
Bad survivors or just novices shouldn't use 2nd chance perks then like DH,DS,BT etc because it will give them a escape they should not of got making there mmr higher then it should be.

Fine by me. Don't play victim either keys aren't broken, and how will they nerf them exactly? They better not or if they do they should nerf everything else about killers too.
Just like a lot of survivors are tryhards with the amount of 2nd chance perks that they have to use and items. Everyone knows that keys are broken right now apart from you even the devs have said a couple time kyes are getting changed, But your crying that they should nerf everything about killers just have a look at the mid year chapter post. Pretty much everything that has to do with killer is getting changed take spirit they are about to guy her and hive her a major nerf.
But keep playing the victim card you are after all a survivor. killers should be nice to you and once your hooked they need to move to the other side off the map and wait for someone to save you. 🤣
Edit: Typos

Did you ever stop and think why killers might tunnel, slug or camp people that bring in keys, keys are broken even more now that mori got nerfed big time. As a survivor don't play victim when you bring in key when you know they are broken and will get nerfed at some point,
Killers got next to no warning that mori were going to be nerfed, why because ever killer would of used a mori like survivors are using keys?

What is the fun of playing him with Tombstone? You end the game pretty quickly. Barely gets any blood points from it, derank/depip and you give survivors a bad game experience.
Tell me why you play with this add-on, like why do you like it to use it?
The times i have used it was just for fun, i used it on a streamer and then went into there channel after and we had a laugh about it. What survivors forget it takes a lot more stalking to be able to kill someone, if it takes a while to get to tier 2 and i have seen a lot of survivors standing after a dropped pallet just feeding me.
The same could be asked for survivors why bring in toolboxes with BNP and prove thyself and any other perk, offering that might speed up getting gens done, where is the fun in that for both sides to have a match end in 5 min and not many points.

Before I get started on this post I feel that there needs to be a few points made in order for this to be effective and not immediately dismissed as a bait thread. This is a question regarding toxicity. Let me first give my definition of toxicity! Toxicity is not face camping, slugging, or any perk. The devs have already made it clear that those are valid tactics and while certain tactics might be cheap or considered unfun that is not what I want to discuss in this thread.
Secondly, I cannot stress enough that this is not a bait thread and it's not meant to start any arguments. Anyone who is even remotely familiar with me or my posts/replies should know that I am a pretty positive person and I hope my hundreds of posts on here can serve as proof of my intent with this thread.
If you've made it this far let's get into it! Killers, lately I've noticed the same massive uptick in toxicity in my games that I'm seeing posted about endlessly on this forum. It's not one or two bad games per night that I'm blowing out of proportion. It's 10/13, 8/8, 14/18, 10/16, truly disproportionate changes in behavior. I'm talking about someone kicking hatch, downing me at the exit gate and carrying me to said hatch to drop me there and throw hatchets in me the entire time for so long that I have two crows over my head as I'm stuck in a game for entire minutes because someone is throwing a tantrum. It's truly toxic behavior that affects gameplay (in most cases by drawing the game out).
So... Why?
If you are a Killer who is so frustrated with this game/your life or circumstances/whatever that you are determined to try and ruin this game for other people I genuinely want to understand why. I have seen countless threads lately with people making 'jokes' like "Welcome to being a true Killer" and "I'll just be toxic then" and a significant number of people liking those posts or defending those posts and I just do not get it. Toxicity is part of any online game, I'm a long-time gamer and I know this. But it's so disproportionate in this community and it just baffles me that people who should be able to bond over a love for this game are so determined to kill the fan base.
If you're frustrated by the game balance, if your last match was bad, if you got flashlight blinded or teabagged or didn't get a 4k and you decide the then take it out on your next game or another player what does that accomplish? You're not punishing the devs or the person who showed bad manners so that can't be the answer. The only outcome I could see is that new players are chased away and veterans step away to take a break or leave for good. I've been around long enough to remember during slopes in player activity how these forums were filled with Killers and Survivors alike complaining about long wait times and I fear we're headed there again if this keeps up. I personally know four people who have left the game and so again I'm just asking what does actively and aggressively being toxic accomplish?
It's a loop in DBD that will never stop on both side's survivors want killers to be less toxic and killers want survivors to be less toxic, each match you get is with a new group off players unless you get someone from the lass match and should be treated that way but because of the cycle killers and survivors will be toxic towards each other.
Take keys for example this isn't about if they are fair or not but as a killer after mori got gutted and a key rework is mean't to happen there was a sudden increase in the amount of people bringing in keys or doing the last second swap, so some killers will find the person that bought the key in slug them and let them bleed out just due to the fact they had a key and to take it out off play. But then you go the other side and you have survivors that will all bring in a flashlight to blind the killer as much as they can or just to keep clicking it at the killer to them its fun but to the killer not so much.
I had someone DC over me running a tomestone piece on Myers and i killed them with it what did they do they DC but they were happy the whole match trying to blind me or click there flashlight at me non stop up until they got killed, It's a loop on both sides and sucks for both sides when people are just being toxic be it they want to, they find it funny or because they had a bad match and want to take it out on the people in the next match and not one side will budge and stop and ease up because they fill like the other side won't do it also.

So, your stuck on the use of one perk, but won't answer whether stacking gen slowdown and noed is overkill?
That seems reasonable to you?
I don't use it every game if that makes my argument somehow more valid.
My fourth perk switches daily.
Seems silly to debate, you consider survivor perks crutch, and not concede the opposite is also true?
I never said it was or it wasn't there is a reason that killers stack so many slow down perks and it's a problem that BHVR needs to find a way to fix and that's gen speeds, blaming the killer because they have to stack these perks to slow down the game is not the answer or the way to go about it.
i.e if they made ruin base but change the speed based on how many survivors are left so if they are caught in a 3 gen with only 2 ruin would only work at 50% normal speed still giving them a chance to do gens, that would allow killers to start picking other perks to bring that might not be a slowdown perk.
Just like survivors using DS the old version was broken and most people knew it but since they fixed it if a killer eats a DS then 90% off the time they tunnelled that person off the hook which is why people bring it and is classed a mete perk.
Both sides have crutch perks that can stack you don't like slowdown and noed killers hate DS+UB when they get a BT unhook near the exit the killer has pretty much no counter play to that but just picking out one side like you did in your first post and not also saying survivors have crutch perk's that can stack was not far for killers.

IW is not meta, meta. But I get you.
My point wasn't to never use meta, it was stacking slowdown with noed, I mean,c'mon that's a bit of overkill, you don't agree?
nope you said you don't use meta perks a few times in this thread and IW is even more since the nerf to stridor, meta perks are meta perks even if you just use one your using a meta perk.

Actually I do not. I run solo q, and as such I run Windows, Bond, Kindred, and IW . I don't want to sound like I am shaming anyones build, that is not my intention. I was just saying that slowdown when combined with NOED makes for a long game.
Hate to call you out "I don't use meta perks and I don't use noed, so what is your point" IW is a meta perk.

No, I didn't call noed a crutch perk. I said stacking gen slowdown with noed is crutching.
That's a bit different IMO.
Like I said, I don't run meta and I have no trouble facing it.
And survivors stacking all those perks are a crutching it even more then killers as some off the combos have little to zero counter play, where as the perks you said all have counters and if you don't like noed that much like people have said do bones there are enough perks now to find them plus maps.

I said, I don't give a ######### about noed, just that if you run both, you crutching hard.
Besides, do bones, is such a cliche answer, any original thoughts to add?
So how hard are survivors crutching hard when they run DS,UB, BT and DH and bring in a key with hatch offering would really like to know?

I never said they couldn't, just that that particular setup gets old
And DS,UB,BT and DH never gets old for killers.

I don't use meta perks and I don't use noed, so what is your point
Good for you but you called it a crutch perk and being able to stack it with slowdowns, Survivors have more crutch perks and able to stack them better with less to no counter play to some. So if your going to call NOED a crutch perk i'm just saying Survivors have a lot more crutch perks and we will give up 1 if survivors are willing to give up all the ones they have.

I didn't stick around to see.
And I play plenty of killer - enough to be rank 1 every month, but I'm a survivor main. The reason I complain about killers so much is because they have the ability to dictate your ability to have fun. Losing fast as a killer sucks, but some of that can be attributed to the killer's ability. Chasing in bad places, chasing too long, perhaps bad perks. But the survivors can't just take away the killer's ability to PLAY and TRY to have fun. There is no equivalent.
I call bull on you being rank 1 if you were then you would know most off what you said is the survivors fault not the killer, why did your teammate do a unsafe rescue and not take a hit for you plus they did it with no BT when they knew the killer was close, what you want the killer to nod at you and give you a free pass for your teammates dumb choice, if your a rank 1 killer you wouldn't do that just give someone a free pass?
tombstone myers is all in the survivors hands which you would also know if you played killer, it takes a lot of stalking to get to it and who feeds him evil within survivors do, if your teammate's stood at pallets feeding him once again that's on them NOT the killer. So if your a rank 1 killer and survivor then stop blaming killers and start blaming your teammate's and ask BHVR to fix teammate's.

I hate but can understand porxy camping in say a 3-gen or end-game when you want 1 kill. But usually it's at 4-5 gens and the game has barely started.
What's the equivalent of facecamping or tombstone for survivors? There is none. There is 0 way they can literally remove the killer's ability to play (I don't get to play when I am facecamped or tunneled and put right back on the hook as I just got off). I'm not saying anything about game balance, but simple ability to even play.
Keys take away the killers ability to play the game, they are winning the game and all off a sudden 3 people get out because keys are broken, where is the killers ability to play the game then when the survivors use a broken item? plus there are perks that do the same thing but lets cry victim and that survivors have none off these things to use.

I honestly don't give a ######### about No ones even dead yet.
But, for God's sake, pick one. It's that ruin, pop, bbq noed ######### that drives me crazy.
Play slow down or play end game. These stacked, sorry, is a crutch.
Ok we will give up noed when survivors give up there crutch perks and being able to stack them ah wait survivors need to keep there crutch perks but killers can't have any.

Not everyone plays to farm. Booping the snoot? OK. Then, back to the game.
It's not about farming you can still have a normal game, hook everyone twice you just don't kill them. I have had a lot off laughs when i have play pig and people have boop the snoot, sometimes when its down to the last gen ill sit there and pretend i'm doing it with them, we all had a fun match with chases, hooks the works but in the end i didn't kill them because they did one act other times it can be someones first time and they were excited in chat i let them do it.
-
Those kill rates are false and shouldn't be used to say how many kills a killer is getting as things like survivors killing themselves on hook and i'm pretty sure DC also were counted in the kill rates i could be wrong about the DC. But it does count survivors killing themselves so the kill rates are higher then what they really are.

in fact ... i have a problem with players who pick him .. they think they so cool picking him .. and get easy 4-3k
then baaaaaaam 1-0 kill LoL
Then when you face a tomestone Myers and he moris you without hooking you, you will come and complain that he is OP and needs a nerf.
Most people that pick him or main him are fans off Myers and just enjoy playing him, so i guess survivors think they are so cool teabagging at the exit where it's safe, why don't you grow a pair and come to the middle of the map and do it to the killers face then baaaaaam your ass is on a hook lol.

You do understand that Trapper was originally a stand in for Jason until they could get the license (before the lawsuit drama) just as Billy was a stand in for Leatherface and in my opinion even wraith was a loose stand in for Freddy. Jason is the only big icon still missing and they legit modeled their FIRST killer after him. I think they're fans enough to take him if possible.
Just because a killer was a stand in for another one does not mean there is no reason for them to get the license for the original, Jason is nothing like the trapper apart from maybe 2 things the weapon and maybe the mask everything else about Trapper has nothing to do with Jason.
Go back and watch all the movies and you will see Jason stalks his victims (Trapper does not do this), Jason is able to break though stuff with ease another thing trapper can't do, F13th fans do not want a new skin for Trapper and i'm sure there is plenty off DBD players that would rather Jason as a killer then a skin for Trapper,
