I just hope the PS5 is released before the offerings screen sets my PS4 alight.
Just buy a mid ranged pc.

I start closing the app when survivor bring ormond or haddonfield map offering if i bring addon if i dont have any addon im just going in the corner look at the wall and go afk
They do this if i bring a mori while they have a key so fair is fair i guess.

Alternative solution:
make map offerings separate from regular offerings and let them be visible BEFORE the match starts
I mean, there's the offering to cancel a map offering on the ptb, which, frankly, is nonsensical, as you don't know if anyone will bring a map offering you don't want.
So they know it is a problem but don't want to remove it. Great .....

######### ormond and haddon field. No they shouldn't be removed those maps just need to be balanced they are too survivor sided.
But the dev's are not balancing maps. At least not in our life time.
If Springwood (the only map to get a full "balance" rework) is the dev's version of balance then i don't want it
-
Exactly what i said in the old thread. Your optimization will be in the form of new consoles rather than hiring someone to actually work on the game.
Literally nothing will change, the game is just being brute forced by stronger hardware.
-
If you want bp, just play killer.
-
Follow the survivor rule book.
-
Because a killer should never slug and always take 3 seconds to pick up + 10 ish seconds to walk to a hook + 2 seconds to hook and make sure to ignore the other survivors around you as you do so. But don't forget to ApPly pREsSurE somehow in a fun and exciting way for the survivors.
-
Had two games with a 4 man using OoO. Spinechill is bad enough against solo survivors causing chases to take ages to start, but OoO is on another level since the gens are always empty when you reach them and the OoO user just tells them if you are going right or left at a loop so good bye mindgames.
It will never happen since balance happens at a glacial pace with these devs. It doesn't help that they only have 2 people working on it because the rest of the budget goes towards the art department and cosmetics to keep their investors happy.
-
Killers are sweaty for actually trying to win?
Does this mean that survivor gameplay is so casual and easy that there is no need to "sweat" to win?

Because if she travels fast enough, and you are able to predict either A) where they are going, or B) how they will react to seeing you phasing at them, your path will cross theirs and you will get a hit.
You don’t have to end your power where the survivor is, you simply have to cross paths with them.
How is that any different from hitting them? if anything it is worse because you can just draw an invisible circle around the sound they make and they will cross your path while you are still in phase.

I haven't even set a speed for her to got at and you're assuming that her power will be useless?
Because I can absolutely see a version of her power can be balanced without making her too powerful or too weak.
Why does it matter how fast she travels in her power when she needs to retrace the same path twice? survivors don't stay in the same spot and they don't run in straight lines.
-
But.. but.. then people can't VPN from china to America.. that isn't fair!

The current rank system was butchered by bhvr.
They widened the ranks that can be matched after they nerfed rank reset to only set you back a single tier. This caused red ranks to fill up and increased lobby times. Killers were also getting sick of red ranks and de-ranking to lower ranks exacerbating the problem.
The old rank reset was perfect... Good players and killers got back to red ranks quickly, while the lesser skilled players took longer, creating an even spread of ranks until near the next reset.
No idea why they changed it.

Why do you think its terrible?
Holding W would literally counter her as you will never be able to catch up.
Nobody is going to stay at a jungle gym, and nobody is going to walk on the same spot against her.
This literally turns her into a 110% m1 killer.
-
So she makes a path and then teleports back to her start position and quickly blinks along that path while visible?
That is terrible lol
-
Keep looping but make the walls catch on survivors if they press against them like it does to killers. Problem solved.
Now they can't push half their body through a wall while looping to maximize their teeny tiny collision box.
-
@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
Because the killer lock is client side and would need a patch to remove. The MMR is server side and can be switched on and off without a patch. It will be interesting to see if the next patch removed the killer lock, as that would suggest that they devs have given up on it.
Or they just leave the killer lock on and call it a feature.

I would love to see a meta shattering perk. The meta for survivor has been the same for 3, almost 4 years.
The only way to change survivor meta is to gut the existing perks and give them some other press E to outplay or just exist to outplay perk that gives them 5 extra chances to screw up.
Anything that doesn't screw the killer over or give you 6 chances to make a mistake is "crap"
-
but thats just it. if you can waste enough time, even if you are terrible, your team can win and escape if they just hold m1 on a gen.
-
Good survivors can deny the first hit long enough for it to be GG.
Swf can easily just hide during his rampage
loud.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1583808#Comment_1583808
You don't, you just get good at using his ability in chases and it's easy.
But if a survivor runs away before you reach them, and they hold W like most rank 1 survivors do, when you hit them. Then how do you catch up in 10-20 seconds because it is literally impossible.

How do you know there even are "invisible impossible to detect wall hackers"? Might they just have I'm All Ears, Stridor, good game sense, good headphones, etc.?
Someone streamed themselves cheating for a year and had them.

In 4700 hours of playing I have encountered 10 hackers at max. A good bunch over a two days a few months ago. I did not notice any recent increase of Hackers.
So I guess you got unlucky? OR not everyone you suspected hacking was actually hacking.
Are these blatant phase through the floor or permanent sprint, no mither unhookable cheaters? Or the invisible impossible to detect wall hackers fov increasers (not stretched res) that never ever fall for any mindgames?

Oh in circumstances it's definitely justified and legitimate. At 5 gens, with BBQ so you can see everyone is far away on gens, why would you facecamp and then hardcore tunnel to cage to 3rd hook?

Yes, actually.
How do you walk faster than 4.6m/s ?

you down good survivors in 10-20 seconds with ph?

Shred is awesome. His biggest issues comes from him screaming across the entire map when ever he uses a portal and his loud clunky footsteps. Fix these and he’s a top 5 killer

Damn Bro, Demo's totally useless. Shred is his worst ability. /s
I've won 25+ games in the row with 4k kills as Demo, not counting hatch escapes or hatch mercy. Of course, I was using his best two addons. Rat Liver and Rat Tail, recently using Deer Lung instead of Rat Tail cause I use corrupt, so I have time to set up a couple of portals or so.
Shred is literally the only ability you can't react to as Survivor, it's the fastest ability in the game, not counting Hatchets. Demo makes the "Hiss" noise when his shred is fully charged, you can get some really cheeky kills when you charge it halfway cause it doesn't make any noise bur your shred is shorter.
I rate this post, 7/10 Bait
and i won 10 games in a row as doctor while clueless about how to use him correctly and zero gen perks at rank 1.
You got potatoes.
-
His shred is the only good part about him.
He has no map pressure
He announces everything he is doing to survivors
teleport is slow
Teleport is controlled by survivors
Teleport has a massive LOOK AT ME IM HERE LOOK OUT HERE HEY RIGHT HERE!!! tell
Thomp thomp thomp thomp loud af walking noise.
He really is a noob stomper and nothing more.
-
Why do they expect me to ignore the guy next to us after i down them?
-
The rift isn't for funsies and to be generous. It is there to generate money.
They nerfed it to make you buy tiers or fail the pass and pay to start the next one.
-
Nurse already has a shorter lunge then other killers....

@JimPickens666 said:
Demo is one of the weakest killers in the game and i dont really understand why because on paper he has so much going for him. I kind of look at him as a jack of all trades master of none
But like @gibblywibblywoo said i think making him less loud would be a start, or maybe keep him loud but give him more offensive power. Maybe make it so add ons can let you switch between the two style but he has to be able to take after one. At least he's more to play than Clown
Quite simple.
He must obey pallets
His portals can be removed
Survivors control his power.
No add-ons that do anything.
He wastes too much time in set up and must walk to a portal to use a portal.
-
Gen speed is fast because
A. survivors have the attention span of a ferret
B. they don't want the gens to collectively take longer then someone takes to die on hook because of camping.
-
Your team needs to do the unthinkable and hold the dreaded M1button and the occasional space on generators while you waste as much time as you can.
This is a 4v1 game after all.
-
I'm tired of gen phobia. i should not be doing 4/5 gens solo....
i think i will give up and farm the killer and them instead of trying to escape. best to help inflate the kill stats you know?
-
Aww... killers on pc can't be 360'd for days and can use ranged killers :'{

This is literally the suboptimal way to play Hag and why people considered her on the lower side of the tier list for so long. Read some of the replies above - maybe watch Michi from EU play and try Hag yourself. People who play this way are also turned off by Nurse because her ceiling is too high for predictions and missing penalty "too long" with the nerfs - both have more to offer than people are willing to put in the work for
You can do this and cut off loop paths you know. she does have 10 traps at her disposal.
-
If someone jumps in a locker with no chase behind it, i will happily eat the ds stun as it wastes almost none of my time, and they are now screwed.
-
There is nothing to fix. they are obsessed with sound occlusion (on killer side only) and are muffling and lowering sounds on purpose.
Did you see how quiet the gens were in the ptb? they changed the sound they make and now you can't tell if it is at 50% or 100% and it is softer.
-
Struggling to get a survivor game for the challenges and when i do it is rainbow ranks.
Killer is literally just click play- lobby starts
-
Does it matter?
They never acknowledge SWF as an issue and they are never going to do anything to balance it. Not even by buffing solo players.
-
Gg if it is the last perk you get lol...
-
Everyone will just use the op survivor. We already see this with people using p3 or brown clothes claudette. The same can be said about female survs vs male survs as they are smaller and easier to hide.
-
This happens when you get use to ez wins all the time.
Swf are prime examples of "you only won because of x" rant, rave, cry.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/186895/any-doctor-mains-out-there
I'm a Doctor main, I've been a Doctor main since his rework. Before I took my break from DBD I was consistently playing a rank 1 killer, and I rarely use add ons as killer. I only use Add ons if I see a survivor I know to be toxic.
Not using add ons as Doc does limit him, as the shocking distance is very short. If you're playing Doc without add ons you will have a rough time using your power at filler pallets and T and L walls. Although you can still prevent survivors from vaulting or using a pallet at jungle gyms and shack, once you get your shock timing right.
Just have in mind when playing as Doctor have in mind after you shock a survivor there is a delay of around a second, where after the survivor is shocked they are still able to vault and use a pallet. After this delay they cannot, getting the Doctor shock timing right comes with experience.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1580587#Comment_1580587
As mentioned above I've been playing Doc consistently at rank 1 since his rework, whilst it'll make the match a lot harder it's possible to consistently win as Doctor without add ons.
Doctor is my main, I'm extremely familar with his power. Which enables me to be able to use his shock effectively without add ons. Someone who isn't a Doctor main may struggle without add ons.
Thanks.

So you're saying that you actually expect a hag, a 110 killer , to patrol every generator on the map. Even though that makes her completely unable to use her power in any form against good survivors, or mediocre swf. I just want to make sure we're on the same page.
Especially when the whole point of this post was me asking for advice to break out of that play style. Y'all have no chill lol.
I never expect anything else from hag players. She can be used aggressively, but once she catches someone, down goes the hook trap and 2 or 3 escape paths with furious teleport button spam while waiting even while chasing someone else.

@PigMainClaudette said:
Doc's my second most played killer, and I always use the Calm/Order add-ons. TR flux and Blast cooldown.
As for no add-ons? Depends on your rank. His add-ons really help with different playstyles, and you're better off using them in higher ranks.
Is stealth doc still possible on him?
Saw a streamer play one a long time ago.
-
This is why using x streamer got x kills =killer op is flawed.
You can live near a server full of potatoes, or a server surrounded by depip squads.
