  • I love the idea, it keeps the feel and energy of spirit and also hits the problem with spirit over the head. My only worry is that this may give survivors too much time to react. Depending on how quickly she phases along the trail it may be impossible to get a hit. I feel like it's the same problem with Pyramid head where the survivor 80% of the time has the opportunity to react to his power so what ends up happening is a very unsatisfying game of guessing for both killer and survivor. This reworked spirit would be very hard to balance but overall I think this would be a healthy change for the game.

  • I'm just adding a comment so the devs might see this. I've wanted this change for years!

  • I would love to see a meta shattering perk. The meta for survivor has been the same for 3, almost 4 years.

TBH the combo would still be really weak. FTB's broken effect lasts for awhile making it very risky. You are very likely to still be broken when you are unhooked.

Still, I would like this buff to happen anyways.

Yeah I ran the combo today and the broken effect from the FTP and Second Wind overlap worried me a lot. I've been running aftercare, iron will, FTP and second wind and it provides a very unique supportive experience. It was fun for a couple of matches but there was too much conflict from second wind and FTP. I feel like with the buff this would actually be a viable solo que build with high risk and high reward.

  • Killers have instead of using ruin instead went to Pop and maybe corrupt intervention. Ruin, I think, used to be the best gen regression perk because early game pressure is a rare commodity.

Only difference I can tell is that late game is more intense because Pop tends to lengthen mid/late game. Games don't really go much any faster, just segments of the game have had their length affected. Early will always go fast but late game can be quite lengthy with the current meta.

Edit: Clarity on what I was trying to say

  • In my opinion, a poorly thought out mess. He's overpowered in a chase but can't apply pressure. As killer, helplessly watching gens get pounded is irritating and as survivor, chases are way too short so a majority of your game you'll be afk'ing on generators or hooked. I feel like Deathslinger shouldn't be nerfed or buffed, the fundamentals of him (to me) are just too broken to be salvaged.
