Did it with Hag on Swamp, only had 3 stacks of BBQ but got 9 hooks total.
-
get off the hook, start healing myself as the unhooker has disappeared. 5 seconds later killers on me. Since I healed for 2 seconds no more DS.
-
Favourite : Temple of Purgation. Eerie design, some deadzones, good loops without broken tiles.
Least Favourite : Hawkins. It gives me a headache when I move from the lighter side to the darker side of the map. Used to make me physically ill but I know how to avoid the worse of it.

Actually finding it easier to pip as Killer to red ranks, but its a struggle (or I hit a wall there). Been gravitating from R1-5 for Survivor for well over a year now. As solo I dont seem to get past 3 anymore as I have so many bad games and I only safetypip in most good games
-
Give Clown 2 extra bottles basekit and let them recharge overtime slowly while keeping his manual faster reload. Drop his base TR by 4m.
-
Nerf Spirit. Nerf her post-phase lunge and up the chase music while in phase to force her to use more visual cues in chases.
Buff Pig, Clown and Trapper by giving their basekit an additional 1 or 2 items (6-7 bottles for clown, + 1 or 2 traps for Pig & Trapper)
-
I hate his laughing, his chase music and the weird lightsaber noise he makes. Also PTSD from trying to adept him before the emblem fix.
Still rank him above Spirit.
-
I've noticed this, as well as I will get the same perk to level 2 then not see it for another 100 bloodwebs.
I have some characters with an entire page of green perks and not a single purple or yellow.
-
Decided to try doing some of the killer tome challenges. Got a SWF bullysquad with double OoO who kept clicking and flashlight saving.
They forgot to bring unbreakable so I found a good solution to the flashlight saving.
Most of my games have either been killers trying way too hard or survivors acting like tools with OoO. Maybe because Rank Reset was only a couple of days ago.

People on these forums overact at any survivor buff. Lets see how this version of Lucky Break actually plays out. I remember reading people QQing about Smash Hit, Power Struggle, Built to Last, For the People, Any Means Necessary, Breakout and Second Wind.
Each one was meant to 'shake up the meta' yet pretty much nobody uses them. Only survivor perk I actually see people use often from a recent survivor is Soul Guard and they are nerfing it in the next patch.
-
"Once you get into green ranks that fantasy fades and it just becomes a sport to win"
So this is unrelated to SWF. You want all solo queue players to have the competency of a Green survivor at best so they feel scared? They'd likely just feel frustrated and leave instead.
Also your ideas of seperating SWF into its own queue doesnt work because people play in groups of 2 or 3 as well.
-
I tried a match using mostly his M1 and basically lost (2K). 110% is too slow to not use knives.
It does seem to either not register when I start my chases or they penalise me for having a widespread knive range as I typically pepper and unhooker and unhooked with knives but only chase 1 of them.
-
Killer should take 10 seconds to close the hatch as well so the survivors have more time to open the exit gate.
edit: or is doing things instantly only something the killer can enjoy?
-
I think Kindred should be basekit without showing the killer aura.
-
I just clear half the pallets on 1 side of the map, keep the gens and win with 1/2 gens left.
Once there's no pallets they have nothing
-
In solo queue run WGLF and BT. As soon as a survivor is downed run to the hook and unhook. If/When the killer tunnels the guy you just unhooked, unhook him again for that second juicy 25% stack.
You can also do generators but most survivors who run WGLF in solo queue don't know how to do this.
-
Are you guys having fun with the new no stun bug?
No. I've noticed it's more pronounced on certain killers.
How often are you guys instantly getting tunneled or camped?.
Depends, I can have a streak of games where I will be hard tunneled or my teammate will be and the killer will do everything to run around me in order to hit them. I often see games where 2 survivors are on death hook while 2 others havent even been hooked once.
How often do you guys win now?
I'd say about 40% of the time. Depends on what kind of teammates I get. I'm rank 3 but I got paired up with a rank 18 with 5 hours of game experience and a rank 15 with 20 hours last night. I did 2 gens, everyone else died without doing anything of use. Later it gets in the night (EU time) the more often this sort of experience occurs.
Are killers playing more "rude"?
Seen a couple of headshaking campers, but I'd say no. Have had a number of ragequits, especially from Tricksters.
Are you running into more slugging builds than before?.
No. Killers seem adverse to slugging at all now.
How often do you actually use DS?
Every few games. I've caught myself out by healing my teammate for 0.5 of a second after an unhook and then getting chased a few seconds later with my DS disabled. Happens more if I'm on second stage since I keybind my struggle to M1.

He's not entirely wrong. Reddit used to be worse (circa 2018/2019) but it's gotten a lot better. The forums have degraded a bit and the upvotes for anything killer sided is significantly higher than for survivors, a lot of good posters got banned but many of the spammers with high postcounts who contribute maybe 1 good post in 50 are still here. You can see some users who have registered less than 6 months ago with over 1000 posts, 90% of it being crapposts.
Steam community is a mess of ideas but the steamcommunity thread layout isnt conductive to a good discussion anyway.
I think these forums would improve if they removed the upvote feature and temp banned users who derail posts.

So your saying that you can win as survivor and killer a lot (Your other post says you win a lot of survivor) could it just be that you've put a lot of time into the game and therefore the average player you dumpster, so this has slightly increased or even drastically increased your win/survivor rate.
I class a win as at least 2 escape or a 1 escape and 1 hatch. A draw if 2 hatch. Draws haven't occured in my games though, except one solo survivor game in which it is the .5. as killer it is down to 1) 2 or more kills/DC.
My current win rate out of the last one hundred games (72%) killer.
My current win rate as survivor solo in the last 100 games (76.5%).
My win rate as swf 2 man (95% ) lost two out of 40 games in total.
My win rate as swf 3 man(100%) out of 48 games.
My win rate as 4 man swf (100%) out of 33 games.
I've been playing for 2.5k hours, and I have a decent grasp on both survivor and killer.
Survivor is easier, by far. You get a tonne of downtime and can easily loop a killer for nearing 60s, until he either over commits (secures your team's gens) or breaks of the chase (you go hop on a gen nearby).
Don't tell me killer is easier- it's not. Whilst killer is less team reliant due to it being a 1v4 they also have the disadvantage of being in a 1v4 so have extremely poor early games.
You escaped 76 of your 100 games as a solo queue survivor in red ranks? Meanwhile the devs released stats showing all killers in red ranks bar nurse had over 60% killrate.
You should post a compilation video or something cause a 76% winrate as a solo is pretty damn impressive, one could even say unbelievable.
-
All of her perks are meh at best, her voice acting is pretty terrible. Her name is a mouthful, her default outfit is pretty average. Just another generic female survivor.
-
I think you were too generous with Steve. He has like Y tier perks. They are all beyond garbage.
-
its worse than Lithe. You can assure a fast vault in most loops but if the killer respects the pallet or hits you through it, it becomes uesless anyway.
DH, SB and BL are good for getting to a loop, Lithe and Smash Hit are for going from 1 loop to another. I just see Smash hit as being worse in most loops given the limited number of pallets, the requirement to get the stun and the fact that killers hit through pallets all the time anyway if they lunge.
-
arent you the guy who made the thread about how you think freddie should have teleports to exit gates? You dont even need make excuses for playing freddie here btw.
-
What perk are we complaining about next after Dead Hard Nerf?
-
I think I will play 50 games as solo survivor in red ranks (4 atm) and do a comparison. Starting from after tomorrow's DS nerf.
My typical solo build is DS/BT/Adrenaline/IW
-
I managed to do it eventually after reading some other threads. basically namechange and hope that the killer feels merciful enough to repeatedly slug a no mither user.
-
Favourites:
- Hag - Getting the perfect web and pushing survivors into it always brings me joy.
- Trapper - Same as for Hag, though annoying he relies on bag add-on.
- Spirit - So much fun to play as her, to predict survivor movements and get that hit.
- Plague - Initially I loathed her hitbox, but I've figured it out and games can be down to the wire.
- Wraith - Element of surprise and bell-spamming. Yes please.
Least Favourites:
- Huntress - That should've hit. That shouldn't have hit. UGUHGHH noises and annoying lullaby.
- Freddie - I hate the dream world. It hurts my eyes. Also I adepted old Freddie and got DDOSed for 6 hours when I played him prior to rework, felt like it meant something.
- Cannibal - For the love of god shut up.
- Oni - See above
- Nurse - I simply can't get to grasps with how to play her.
-
still happening today, I thought it was fixed?
-
I DC to give randoms hatch if Im slugged more than half my healthstate. I don't really care that I'm "robbing" you of your 4K, I don't want to stare at the floor to give a 4K.
-
"Camping -
Pretty much the same as above, whenever you're being camped yeah it sucks like all hell, but the Killer can only get 1 kill at minumum from thi strategy, as said above Just do gens and get out, it's a 1v4 so if the killer is giving you all of his attention, Your teammates better do those gens and just escape, The Killer will depip cause he loses points for being to close to the Hooked survivor and they get little BP while that leaves 3 escapes and 1 death, That is a heavy win on the survivors side but If you have the perks decisive Strike and BT feel free to try and use them as late as you possibly can, if you get 4 gens done you can most certainly loop the killer for another gen and possibly escape, don't know how to loop effectively? Play the actual game and dont always try to be a gen jockey"
So you want people not to be mad about camping, and this is your advice to them?
Your advice is that if you're being camped it 'sucks like all hell'.
As the survivor, why do you care about the Killer depipping, losing points or whatever? It's boring to sit there on the hook.

Flip flop, power struggle is low key pretty nuts and if your desire to buy a survivor for there perks is heavily based on how meta they will be its kind of an uphill struggle. How are you gonna beat the meta survivor perks without breaking the game. Do you want some bt 2.0 where you both get protection from being downed post unhooking a survivor? Maybe you would like adrenaline 2.0 where every gens you pop restores a health state. See what I mean if these perks saw the light of day the game would be horrendously broken. Perks like flip flop are fantastic and current MoM is the kind of fun perk that actually create some great moment without horribly breaking the game.
Just curious here, how many times have you managed to get Flip-flop and Power Struggle to synergise? Is it worth using half your perk slots for the chance at stunning the killer after being slugged?

Just watch Dowsey’s vod on twitch where he had to sit in Q for 2 hours on twins due to his absurd 800+ kills with 1 escape MMR rating to then get promptly dumpstered by comp players.
Even the top 1% players in the game can’t win with non-nurse/spirit games verses that.
buffing all killers will even out because people who are good with any killer will always go up in MMR so the rest of us mediocre players will be left with mediocre competition. That’s how MMR works. If bhvr goes through with the MMR, they have got to bring more killers up to par
True I think they should buff all the killers so they can stomp the 1% of best survivors. Would make for a balanced game.
-
Every nurse you face you will regret taking that over something useful like dead hard
-
You get survivors who last 10 seconds in a chase?? Mine go down about 2 seconds after getting injured. Then they heal for 30 seconds only to go down in 2 again.

Imagine to use afk players to farm and them report them. lol
I dont think I should depip just because the killer is AFK, so yes I will farm enough points to safety pip before I report the guy for being AFK for the entire match.
-
No I don't think so.
Iron Will is basekit for me as a Jeff main, then BT is almost every other build. Depending on my games, DS is typically a third perk (or Deliverance if my previous 2 games didnt have hookbombers). 4th perk can be whatever, usually Adrenaline or Detectives Hunch

Do you play in a swf?
Unless you do, I doubt you see this often. Most killers only afk against them or at end game if your teabagging in exit gates.
I have only ever afk'd once, and that was because this Team was a definitive swf ( they all had the same start of the name (not hex or faze, it was just something random)) and were playing at peak efficiency. I afk'd they de pipped.
In end game chat they were raging, but then when I told them I was playing for a daily on pig and didn't want to have to deal with that ######### they calmed down and understood.
Not all swf are just toxic, but if cannot win a match against a swf, I shouldn't have to play the game and if you play swf in the state the game is now and are tryhards, you deserve to depip once every 3-4 games.
They'll easily get it back.
Nope.
Solo or with 1 friend.
See an AFK killer every 2-3 days? Sometimes they auto-swing so can get some altruism points. Most AFK killers seem to be AFK to derank and stomp noobs.
-
So basically killer is AFK no Chase or Altruism, depip at red ranks guaranteed for all survivors & the killer for the killer's actions.
Doesn't seem fair.
Killer should get no chase points, but survivors should still be able to farm (and then report) points off an AFK killer.
-
Against it.
People will just play in an unfun way (Slugging) and try to get people to DC.
-
Surely this is a bait post? 10 posts and Freddy icon + name.
-
Deathslinger would be better if you got a better audio cue of where he is before the chase begins. With Huntress you get some humming and her TR is larger. Almost any Deathslinger I see plays with M&A which nearly guarentees a first hit for the Slinger, then you can run some 50/50s but you will go down if they are competent.
-
Survivor : Jeff & (P3) Tapp
Killer : Plague & Hag
-
Looking at the floor for a full bleedout isnt engaging. You can try to justify it all you want but it's dull from a survivor perspective.
-
I find that if I dont break many walls as Killer and eat a few pallets I can ream the survivors easily when theres' 1-2 gens left to be done.
-
Escaped with firecrackers through the hatch on Temple of Purgation about 10 minutes ago and kept them.

Remember when loosing ruin in 10 secs made entitled killermains DC instantly?
Those where the good times.
I played a match on the Game earlier and my ruin was found in about 20 seconds. Contemplated DCing until the idiotic survivors hook bombed and traded 8/12 hooks with 5 gens still up.
-
Yup, just played against a Freddy that was hitting from even further than his normal lunge. No Coup de Grace either. Just complete nonsense 10 metre hits.
-
I think they'll just release more outfits you gotta pay $10 a piece for.
Days of grinding events to earn the outfits in-game are over.
-
About 2 weeks ago, I saw a hacker who brought an ebony mori as a survivor. I reported it to BHVR with screenshot of end-game screen with the ebony mori + the Killer and myself accusing them of blatant hacking. BHVR said no video no ban and closed the ticket.
Yesterday I played against a survivor who managed to instantly get back up when I downed him (with 3 gens to go). No unbreakable or soul guard or anything.
Hopefully EAC gets updated soon.
-
I think he would be fine if his terror radius was +8 on what it currently is. His hitboxes feel very fair though I feel like with him its either you know how to aim or you don't.
Once you master the quickshot with Deathslinger I don't feel you can really improve yourself all that much with him as you often run loops the same way.
I would rather face a Deathslinger than a Huntress with the way hitboxes are.
