All it needs is to be permanent, just like how Ghostface's metre remains at all times, but I'd go even further and have the laceration metre remain even after getting hit by an M1.
It's actually horrendous that I equip the add-ons to SPECIFICALLY increase the time it takes to decay, only to watch it decay as I'm struggling to down a survivor with his useless power.
-
The killer mains these days are so unreasonable... How dare they not enjoy getting looped for 2-3 minutes at a time, bullied and tbagged by survivors with new cosmetics.
So entitled, smh /s

Why is there no new maps. The last one was the blight map. I believe
Actually, no. The last new map was Midwich, with Pyramid Head.
-
This killer really needs some help:
-115% mvspeed
-Laceration metre never goes down, like Ghostface, it stays, even if you M1 the survivor.
-Main Event is used at your own discretion and the post-cooldown is removed.
-Remove recoil and the spread of the knives.. please.
-Main event is changed, to where you move at 115%, with double damage on your knives, this can be indicated by the ''golden'' effect of the knives along with an audio cue from the Trickster, who can just be laughing manically.
-
Main event is actually a detriment to this killer unless you're in the open or camping a hook.
It slows you down to 92%.. yes.. 92%, it's a joke. And then you can't even use your garbage power after for a couple of seconds.
Using main event is literally nerfing yourself tbh
-
I love playing a meme killer tbh, getting tbagged and bullied is the new norm with the recent killers

But are the survivors having fun?
Of course. They're getting new cosmetics and a killer to run around for 2-3 minutes at a time because he's absolute garbage.
-
Smells like sarcasm.
-
There's nothing that sets him apart from the rest of the cast. Everything he does is just done better by Huntress, Plague or Deathslinger if we're talking about power.
He's fun, but the factor of fun will very quickly wear off when you get 2-3 hooks per game and a 1k at best.
-
I've only played Trickster today, but yes, the queues are pretty much instant with him.
-

Dude Trickster is literal garbage nobody should ever spend their hard earned money, time and resources on this garbage trash ass killer. This is not even a killer it's just some lame popstar how is this even killer??!?!
Survivors will love it. New cosmetics to wear and a garbage killer to run around for 2-3 minutes.
Must be fun for them..

Eh, at least Trapper's got actual snowball potential and the ability to disable pallets (which is unfortunately easy to counter). Trickster's power is just WAY too inconsistent.
Yup.. and basement trapper is absolutely nutty and difficult to deal with. I just don't see any reason to pick Trickster, every single thing he does is just done better and he doesn't have a gimmick unique to him, like traps or some type of demon spawn to send away.

They always ignore community feedback, this is nothing new.
I don't even get why we have a PTB anymore honestly.
It's just early access content at this point. ScottJund made a video in regards to why the PTB even exists after what happened with the Twins, and it still stands here.
I won't completely say they did nothing though. The UI with Trickster's metre does look a bit better than it did on the PTB, but that's like 10 minutes of work lol.
-
Yeah, I'm absolutely not spending anymore money on this game. The last time I did was a couple of weeks ago for the battle pass, but since it refunds you the auric cells anyway, I'll keep them for the next battle pass for free cosmetics.
But other than that, I'm not buying stuff if it isn't with shards, because this is unacceptable.
-
Yeah this guy is fun but he's easily one of the worst killers, if not, the weakest of them all. I'm just debating on whether Trickster or Trapper is the worst, because they're both awful.
-
It's a problem when used for distance since there's nothing the killer can do to stop it or circumvent the power it brings, which is basically a third health state and another chance to loop the killer for 20-30 seconds easily.
It's not even intended for distance.. it was intended for people to dodge a hit with it, not as a measure to gain distance.
-
This guy is super fun and I love his aesthetic and the amount of personality they've put into him but his power is really weak and underwhelming.
It's sad.

@[Deleted User] said:
He is pretty hot ngl
Please ban this guy, smh.
-
I was to rip into your killer tier list but then I saw Freddy & Twins having their own bracket because they're filthy and a hindrance to this game, so I forgive you.
-
It's almost like survivors hate camping and then want to take away every perk that incentives to NOT camp. A threat about BBQ & Chili being a crutch and now Devour Hope being OP?
Let's just delete the killer role tbh

here’s a thing what if the huge delay in release is there doing a overhaul and giving the buffs
LMFAO
BHVR doesn't do anything that requires minimal effort. When have they ever made drastic changes to a killer from the PTB to live?
-
Always destroy his portals and move unpredictably. You can see him readying up his shred, so don't go for pallets or vaults if he has it aimed on them.
As usual, the best advice is to just split up against him and work on generators, as that is the best counter to any killer.
-
Equip it for a 100% chance to trigger the killer and get tunnelled.
Freddy players especially don't like it.
-
Imagine shaming people for something that doesn't even concern you.
:)
-
I've known people to close the game mid-loading if they see a map offering that is inherently survivor sided.
Playing killer is already hard. It can become miserable on maps like Haddonfield or Coldwind, so I don't blame killers who don't want to deal with it.
Me? I use a sacrificial ward pretty much everytime, gets the job done.
-
In my experience, survivors generally see killers trying to win the game as toxic.
Slugging is the lesser of the three evils that is required to win. You may be on the floor, but you generally get back up and can play again, unlike when being camped or immediately tunnelled out of the game.
Slugging is only toxic if the killer stands on a slug, waiting for them to bleed out for 3-4 minutes.
-
Absolutely agree. A lot of people categorise tunnelling, camping or slugging as toxic when it's simply a strategy the killer can use to win the game, just like how survivors can bring any perk or item to help them rush gens.
The only things that are toxic for either side, IMO are:
Killer: Hitting on hook, standing over a slug until they fully bleed out.
Survivor: Take the game hostage (hiding), sandbagging, clicking and tbagging.
But even so, I find survivors tbagging cheeky and funny occasionally. Depends on the match.
-
It's circumstantial whether a SWF can be defeated or not.
-Are all four of them very competent?
-Are they on comms? Or just four randoms grouping together from a previous game?
-Are they running meta perks?
-Do they have a survivor sided map?
-What killer are you playing?
-What perks do you have as a Killer?
-How good are you at killer?
All of these factors come together for the result. Take a Spirit or Nurse who barely make ant mistakes. Of COURSE they'll beat the SWF, but take an average trapper? He'll get bullied easily.
It's so dependent on different things that SWF can go from unbeatable to easily dealt with.
-
If I see matching outfits or hints at a SWF, I'll dodge. If I see a key, I'll dodge.
I'd rather not have to sweat in order to get a decent result. It's miserable for both sides.
-
It's good, not OP IMO, since you actually need to hit a survivor with the power, which isn't always plausible. So the reward is equivalent to effort and shouldn't be changed tbh.
-
Survivor is obviously the more desirable role. There are more aesthetically pleasing outfits and costumes you can buy, which you can actually see due to third person. It's the easier and less stressful role, as you have less expectations placed on you and even if you mess up, the meta perks survivors have will simply carry you in most situations.
Killer? You have to deal with bad maps, infuriating unfair second-chance perks, have to play pretty optimally otherwise you lose 2-3 generators very quickly and there are more expectations placed on you. You're not a good killer unless you 4k. You're not a ''good'' killer unless you make it fun for the survivors. You're not a good killer if you play Spirit, Freddy or anyone else people do not like.
Don't get me wrong, survivors can have it bad as well, but I personally think the worst for killers, is still much more than the worst survivors have to deal with.

Its not too powerful its just useful for survivors to use, i could say BBQ and Chilli is powerful because many people use it, lets remove BBQ and because its not easy to combat.
''Not easy to combat''
Ah yes, slipping into a locker is very difficult survivor gameplay.
-
Iri head is one of the only counters to a 4 man SWF with DS/UB/BT/DH and once it's removed people will just turn to Spirit more.
-
It wouldn't change anything. It would just make both sides even more BS. Survivors could bring a fifth second chance perks, killers would bring another regression perk.
It wouldn't solve anything.
-
Yup.
I hate having to run ruin but it's a must have perk to even be able to win the game.
-
I must admit the killer role is pretty scarce at times. My queues are instant and I don't blame people for not wanting to play the harder role which is also less rewarding.
Survivor is just so much easier and more fun at times. It's also, even when frustrating, far less frustrating than killer. But that's me.
-
He's not low tier, easily a solid B tier killer. He's just not any higher since he lacks mobility and even though he denies pallets and vaults, it takes him awhile to close the distance with the survivor whilst shocking.
-
I mean, he's going to be purchasable with shards, so I'll be buying him anyway. It's not like it makes a difference or not if its with shards.
If its auric cells though, like hell I'm paying for a chapter that's probably not going to change at all from the PTB despite the release delay.
-
Yup.. and then they act snarky, rude and stubborn in literally every single situation. Instead of just saying sorry, they instead basically go with the ''well we didn't confirm a release date, so it's your fault for expecting it to be released today'' type approach, which is technically true, but when your release schedule has been 3 weeks consistently for quite a while, you can't expect people to not expect such a release date.
ScottJund made a good video about where he highlighted how BHVR chooses when they work, hence they probably don't communicate a lot because there's nothing to talk about. What are they going to say? That they did absolutely nothing for weeks on end but made one bug fix? lol
-
I mean, she's pretty miserable for the survivors, but then you pick someone like Wraith and get bullied by a competent team lmfao.
Play what you enjoy, survivors already have it pretty good.

Also because no one used the ricochet addon to actually try and ricochet they all just threw it at the survivors feet to cheese the extra laceration.
Yet even when people did this, he was still a weak killer.
And they took that away and gave nothing back lmfao

Iron Will is still a counter to Stridor.
https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Iron_Will
Tier 3 Iron Will + Tier 3 Stridor = Tier 1 Iron Will.
For a Spirit that is used to 150% groan volume, facing a survivor who's only at 50% is disorienting and without scratch marks, not so easy to gauge.
You forget that Spirits are relying on several cues at once. Sound, Scratch Marks, Movement (Grass/Pallets, etc.), and you need to be able to combine it all together. If one of those is off, like volume of groans, and you no longer have Scratch Marks to reference it by, you won't be able to pinpoint the survivor.
But the Spirit can still hear you. Sure, it's harder for her to discern where you are. But if we're still talking about a GOOD Spirit player, then it isn't going to matter. She'll be able to know exactly where you are or what you are doing.
Iron Will works against inexperienced survivors or those who are bad. But just like Nurse, if the Spirit knows what she is doing, there's nothing you can do. All you can do is hope the killer makes a mistake, otherwise you die in 10-15 seconds.
-
When the vast majority of the community agrees the new killer is very weak and needs buffs to improve him, only for the developers to turn around and nerf an add-on that made his power somewhat bearable and decent, not giving anymore in the process except a double ricochet useless mechanic.

Bbq m chilli needs to go. Thats annoying as f÷××
Ah yes, then you'll start complaining about killers camping more.
-
Overall, I think he's a pretty good killer and a nice addition to the game. In terms of his chapter, his perks are pretty awful. Surge is his best perk, but its still pretty mediocre and has a cooldown on it for some silly reason.
In terms of power, I think he's pretty balanced, middle of the pack. He has the potential to have insane mobility, but it has counter-play unlike someone like Freddy. His shred is exceptionally good at loops like shack or those which aren't circular in shape so it gives him some anti-loop. But by its design, each side can react to what the other side is doing. The survivor can predict he's going to shred and dodge, or the Demogorgon predicts this and baits a dodge, only to connect a M1. There is stuff both sides can do, it feels like a fair interaction and its what DBD SHOULD be, both sides having a fair chance to fight the other.
He's extremely fun to go against, fun to play as if the survivors aren't extremely sweaty or really good at the game. I just wish he had some QoL and maybe a small buffs to his power and add-ons.
If I had to buff him, I'd remove the global scream when he teleports, unless you're within the TR of him at the portal he climbs out of. Everything he does gives the survivors so much information, which seems unnecessary, what other killer does that? What other killer literally screams ''oh i missed or got pallet stunned'' LMFAO
-
If survivors rush generators then I'm rushing kills. Oh, you want to not heal, not cleanse totems, not do anything else but sit on generators and get them done in 3 minutes?
Then I'll tunnel you out of the game ASAP, fair is fair.
-
Yeah, make it 15/20 metres+ and it would be EXTREMELY more fair. Huntresses who are good get rewarded, and survivors have more of a chance to dodge it obviously.
Current Iri Head is just, get as close as possible and yeet it into them, such interaction :D

I absolutely can't stand Bubba and that's even though I love the movies.
But for one thing, I become a red rank idiot when I play him and just can't loop him. I don't know, he's the only killer I can't get along with.
For another, it's the mentality of 90% of the Bubba players I've experienced. Either they slug like savages or they tunnel you out funny or they are the classic camper. Whenever I get to a round and it's Bubba, I don't feel like playing anymore.
Sad, I play Bubba and only tunnel, camp, or slug massively if the survivors give me no choice or act toxic.
But then again, even when I try not to camp, people just go ''omg you camper'' because its the most common behaviour associated with bubba players, sadly.
-
Pop got nerfed, as did Hex;Undying which are both meta.
People really need to stop looking at only their side.
