  • How is Bubba and Pig not fun to go against? You actually get to loop and play the game.

All I get are Spirits, Freddy's, Nurses and the occasional Huntress. They're all miserable.

But I could theoretically use tuft of hair and devour or an ebony mori, right? I'm just asking for clarification.

I'm not sure if they count towards the achievement.

There are about 200 countries on Earth. There have only been a few original (non-licensed) chapters. Give the devs some time.

You know this is somewhat rich coming from you when you're wanting LGBT representation and the answer "be patient" doesn't seem to be enough.

  • Poor OP, I know the pain..

    @magicmaster2020 said:

So do you have to use tuft of hair and tombstone in order to get that achievement?

It's the easiest way to do it since you have unlimited tier 3.

  • They have their respective strengths, but Billy's are more valuable.

Bubba is more lethal and you can't dodge his chainsaw (unless he's really bad) without dropping pallets. Billy's chainsaw, you can dodge.

But Billy has map mobility, and that's essential for a top tier killer.

  • Freddy. I only touched him for his achievements.. God, he's so boring.

  • Why do people give Sluzzy attention.

    Stop feeding the trolls, smh.

  • It's funny, because the tunnelling equivalent for survivors is to hyper focus on the generators with most progression on. If the killer smacks a generator at, let's say 80%, are you really going to go start a brand new one? No, you're going to try to get the 80% one done ASAP.

Yet when killers do this with survivors, prioritising and tunnelling 1-2 out of the game ASAP, they get ######### for it. You can't expect the killer to ignore an injured survivor on death hook, to chase, for example, a healthy survivor who hasn't been hooked yet.

    It's entitlement.

  • Felix, Steve and Dwight.. damn I'd give it to them.

  • Someone tell ScottJund it'll make him go bat ######### crazy

  • @SilentHillOnDvD said:

This game isn't balanced for 12 hooks. Takes way too long to achieve and gens go to fast.

But then survivors cry, moan and kick and scream when they get tunnelled or camped.

Either way, you can't win because you either fail to win the game, or all the survivors start telling you how awful a human being you are.

  • Eh, I would add another deactivation condition to DS. If the killer hooks someone else whilst your DS is active, it becomes deactivated.

Because obviously, if I down and hook someone else. I'm not tunneling you, but you can still have DS up.

But I wouldn't be upset if this wasn't done, because if I hook someone else and get hit by DS after chasing someone else, I know they weren't progressing the game AT ALL for the minute, which is good for killers.

  • Unbreakable.

I don't think there's a perk that's made me lose so much for making the correct play. Killers need to slug for pressure, and if all survivors have this perk, then you can't win by slugging.

  • For survivors, I don't count it a win unless at least 3 survivors escape.

The developers say the average result should be 2 kills, 2 escapes. So if one side gets more, they win, and the other side loses IMO.

  • Bubba, my precious bubba...

  • Because the killer role is far more interesting than the survivor role. It's always interactive 100% of the time and is the role where the skill ceiling is higher and as a competitive person, I do want to become better at the role and win more.

Now there are times I just give up. Haddonfield with four balanced landing's? Yeah, I'll go stand in a corner, because there is no way to win that game but if the map is fair then I'm down to work at it.

  • Assuming both sides are being fairly competent and using every trick in the book.. For example, Twins when played like a scumbag is pretty good, but playing normally makes her bad.

    DBD Killer tier list 4.6.0.png

  • Because survivors would complain about being unable to loop the killer for 20 years

  • Lmfao imagine not giving a single ######### about getting stabbed with knives until the eight one hits you.

    Kinda dumb.

  • I played a game recently.. against an Oni who was playing very well. I was slugged, and then out of nowhere this Kate teleports onto me, heals me to full health (from 0% slug) in 0.5 seconds and runs off normally.

Killer wasn't suspicious at first, might be WGLF who knows, then when he downs her, she just picks herself back up to full health in 0.5 seconds before he can pick her up and runs at the speed of an Oni with his power up.

Yeah that was a game.. the cheater was acting toxic in post game chat.. yikes

Spasmodic breath should be basekit and permanent and Torn Bookmark should... Well it functions as it does now with the added bonuses of Dull Bracelet and White Nit Comb.

Just delete all killers but Victor and remove his pounce so he just exists for survivors to kick

    Balance game then /s

  • Unplayable game, they make dummy thicc girl and her big ol titties bounce but Felix and his cake doesn't clap???

    ??

Make Felix cake clap when he runs, unplayable game /s

  • Yeah looping is unfair. Killers shouldn't be denied kills. Survivor sided game -_-, just make maps an empty small space with no covering and give killers NOED base kit. Even then, game would be survivor sided smh /s

    in Looping Comment by Zaytex
  • Nurse should not be able to blink at all. Delete her power and she'll be balanced. Killers shouldn't be able to catch survivors, that's so unfair. Killer sided game man cmon bruh /s

I mean it still rewards bad play, but let's say it ok. They are mad because they can't abuse it anymore.

Well, even if they still have it or you get hit by a 59 second DS, you can have the reassurance that they did nothing to progress the game for a minute and you were basically 1v3 for that time.

Can't wait for survivors to actually think and make conscious decisions about what they're going to do, because if Dwight taps that generator 5 metres away from me I'm going for that sweet tunnel on that twink.

in DS Nerf Comment by Zaytex
  • People only played him when he was able to abuse his broken add-ons.

He's still one of the stronger killers on the roster, he just takes skill to use and is quite fair for both sides now.

  • @Healthore77992 said:

Only entitled survivor mains can say I'd didn't need nerf. The perk was so strong, it could alone win the games, uncountable in many scenarios, it is completely justified nerf.

Survivor mains say its a dead perk now, utterly useless.

Still one of the strongest perks in the game lmao even after the nerf.

Lol no. Again you’re just trying to change what it’s equivalent to which has been discussed many times in this thread and dismissed by the salty killers.

Ah yes the typical "You're just a salty X Y Z person" to dismiss any argument you can't refute logically.

    Next.

ds isn't true "anti-tunnel" until it works for both hook states so let's do that first.

    also BT is perfectly fine.

Sounds a bit biased to me TBH.

You want DS for both hook states? That's absurd.

As for BT, it needs to be changed so you can't use it offensively, because just like DS, it makes it utterly dumb.

Actually no, DS/ all these perks that the killers call ‘second chance perks’ is the equivalent of something like pop or other regression perk.

Lets look at this logically. A killers goal is to kill 4 survivors, these second chance perks slows the death of one of these survivors.

A survivors goal is to get 5 generators done, these regression perks slow the speed at which they get completed.

If a gen is completed, I stays completed. If a survivor is dead, they stay dead.

    No, just no.

The killer has to play well to even get to use the most effective generator regression perks. Pop? Need to win chases and get hooks. Ruin? You need to apply effective pressure.

DS, UB, BT? There's almost no requirement to play well, in fact, they reward playing bad and give survivors another opportunity to survive.

If a killer plays bad, Pop/Ruin does nothing. If a survivor plays bad, DS/UB/BT will save them. There's no second chance with Pop/Ruin.

There's no second chance perks for killers except for NOED, because the killer can do literally nothing the entire game but still have the power to secure a kill or two with it.

  • Clown's bottles are better, but not by much. They work in the same way and the only difference is the bottles cover a larger area and make survivors vision disintegrate.

But yeah, Freddy is just a better Clown.

  • Imagine if they implemented a killer perk that added an entire generator or was able to regress it, even if completed.

That's basically what UB/DS/BT is for survivors in terms of power level.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2031642#Comment_2031642

That is interesting. I still say though there needs to be a way to stop survivors grouping up on one gen. I’m fine with two survivors on one but when you get 3 or more it’s just ridiculous

Funnily enough you want the survivors to group on a generator because it allows the killer to apply pressure much more easier by slugging and chasing a nearby survivor.

Survivors who never group up and split up are almost impossible to win against because you can't slug which means you can't snowball or apply effective pressure, so the generators will just get done.

Survivors should just always spawn together as well, maybe with an indication of which direction they're in, so the killer isn't doing a 50/50 on most maps of where they are.

  • I like Plague, but I really dislike how the survivors control her usage of corrupt purge. Very aware survivors, will make sure to use a fountain in a dead zone, not around any generators or important structures on the map so the Plague is unable to collect it without soft throwing the match.

The survivors shouldn't control your power, they are already the dominant role in the game and the most FUN and powerful part of your kit is locked behind a survivor's actions. Pretty silly, I don't think there is any other killer in the game who has this limitation.

  • There needs to be some type of mechanic that prevents generators from flying too quickly at the start of the game. I can be running Corrupt Intervention, but even with that, it's very difficult to pressure four very good survivors with someone who isn't Nurse/Spirit and it's common for 1-2 gens to be done before a hook is even achieved.

I'd argue making Corrupt base kit, or add the ''trial warm up'' idea suggested by ScottJund, where generator repair speeds are heavily reduced until the first chase begins, so survivors don't complete 1-2 gens before the killer even has a chance to apply pressure, especially on maps like Mother's Dwerling where you can't even reach a generator on the other side of the map before it is done. To stop killers abusing this by being AFK, perhaps make it last only a minute and have the generator repair speed be 50% slower or something.

Sure, it's pretty boring for the survivors, but games go by FAR too fast because of the early game getting rid of 1-2 gens before the killer can even apply pressure.

  • Drop pallets early.

That's all there is, he's an incredibly boring and bland killer and there's nothing you can do outside making him kick the pallet.

  • Killer perks need gen regression, because with a lot of killers being underpowered, or unable to apply effective pressure due to bad map size or design, you're just going to lose all five generators before you make any substantial progress, unless the survivors are potato or you're playing a God tier Nurse or Spirit.

For survivors, perks that stop the most powerful strategies killers have, tunnelling, camping and slugging are mandatory because without them, it's very easy to remove a survivor from the game. I've had games where there's no obsession and no BT and the killer removes someone from the game within 2 minutes. That's nutty and survivors need a defence against this.

Granted, killers are more reliant on perks because they are more stretched for time. As a survivor, assuming your team is competent, you have a fair chance at victory and don't even need to put on DS for the killer to act as if you have it.

  • Oh yeah I picked up a new killer and got rank 20's immediately. Of course, they got absolutely destroyed.

I hope they never go through with this, it's horrible.

  • @Koukdw said:

It's not an anti tunnel perk it's an anti camping perk. 15 sec really doesn't prevent tunnel.

Protecting the guy unhooking make sense since killer almost always get a free hit when he is camping, so if you don't body block it's just a trade which is just a benefit for the killer.

Don't ask to nerf a perk just because it's annoying to you. BT is perfectly fine.

People commonly think this, but this is incorrect.

If a killer is tunnelling a survivor, they're obviously going to camp the hook and when someone unhooks, they'll aim for the hooked survivor, who is left with a moment of vulnerability.

Well BT makes it so doing that is punished, encouraging to hit the rescuer, and not the one who was rescued. It functions more as an anti-tunnel mechanic because chasing someone with BT is basically chasing a healthy survivor who might have DS as well.

  • The only time I've ever used it was when I went against the same SWF again after losing to them miserably, who were extremely toxic, brought a coldwind offering with an object of obsession and were clearly on comms with all of them having DS/UB/DH/BT and were fairly good at the game.

So I brought Iri Head to even the play field, and of course they threw a tantrum because apparently killers just exist for survivors to bully.

  • I'll dodge the lobby, because a key is something the killer cannot ignore if they want to win the game and makes it miserable for both sides. So if they bring a key, it's either because they found one or did a last second switch.

Either way, they're getting tunnelled or face camped out of the game ASAP. You want to pick up an item and basically tell me ''Hey, I want to end the match early'' then I'm happy to deliver an early end for you.

  • Wraith is the strongest stealth killer after these buffs, because he's ACTUALLY a stealth killer and hard to detect, unlike Ghostface who you can see coming from the other end of the map.

The only thing Ghostface has over Wraith is his one-shot powers, which can be interrupted and are very situational IMO.

  • I mean SC gives you an early warning if the killer is coming, stealth or not. That's pretty strong, so to expect a significant generator repair progress buff on top of it, is just being spoilt.

  • @Dizzy1096 said:

Yeah it's one of the reasons why I don't touch solo survivor anymore. I tried it the other day for a challenge, red rank killer, other survivors all between ranks 12-17. Never again, I'll wait for swf time for survivor challenges.

This is why I became a killer main. Not because I don't like survivor but because survivor was becoming an absolute shambles of a game.

Oh yeah, playing solo survivor into a Freddy, Spirit, Iri Huntress every game is SO much fun, right? I'd rather killer, more fun to be had tbh.

  • @realflashboss said:

Totally agree with Zaytex and others. Really 'gen rushing' is almost a non concept. That's the main objective of survivors, if they're playing efficient they're gen rushing. It'd be like survivors complaining about killers getting a down and hook in 30 seconds of the game start and saying it's 'kill rushing'. Obviously both sides are going to do whatever their main objective is- what else are u both supposed to do? Stand there doing nothing?

Pressure the survivors off the gens and run regression perks, change targets if someone's good at looping or at a good area, hit and run with sloppy butcher if you think the chase will last too long!

Just to follow up on this, ''gen rushing'' is something that is akin to survivors letting teammates die so they can complete gens ASAP. If you don't have any pressure on the survivors and they get gens in 3-4 minutes, that's not gen rushing, you just played bad.

But most killer mains don't see this, they'll chase one guy for 2-3 minutes and then cry ''gen rush''.

  • You played wrong if you couldn't do anything AS Freddy.

Killer mains complain too easily when they probably made like 50 mistakes in a ''gen rush'' game.

-Killer main btw, before you hit me with that ''omg toxic survivor main'' criticism
