Yeah it 100% shouldn't be able to be completely turned off.
It defeats the whole purpose of why they said they wanted to add the system. meanwhile adding to frustrations as people will load into lobbies and eye-roll at the sable with the whole system disabled. Its always fine to have everything thats just niche und not a necessity to be an option to toggle on or off by personal means.

Its already in the game. Lich has a wheel to chose his magic and it does not stop his movement.
Its still should have an option for keyboartds to tie it to numbers.
-
The only sad thing is that there are this less servers and BHVR thinks this game is AAA.

I think your response provides the answer I was looking for
I doubt that, but it perfectly fits the false narrative youre trying to make up.

Theres a lot of vocal context that can be obtained from this too though. Each character you add adds another 3 to 6 prestiges (if 1 killer and one survivor) to 9 if its a special one of like 2-1. And we supposed to assume stuff like the shrine bp being lowered, amount for dailys, cakes during the anniversary having to be "bugged" to become a steady grind of bp were careful and calculated? Saying this as someone with 8k hours+ at this point. I have 10 million saved for judgements release ill spend 3 on getting the survivors teachables and 7 on judgement because she looks like fun. New people that need these cannot do that. So as they try to catch up more content gets added and you remove revenues for them to use they have more of a mountain to climb. I will never respect bp because the grind is already over for me, unless I wanna get a 4th p100 (might do that for judgement). But I do have friends starting out who look at all they have to do to get anywhere and dont have any fun with it.
The thing is, they just dont take this serious at all, otherwise something would have happened a long long time ago. Those statements are basically just disrespect to community feedback.

I just want to know if you play killer and if so, how many hours you have. I’m not trying to analyze your gameplay
And I wont tell anyone anything that isnt useful for this discussion.

right, im sure behavior hates the majority of thweir userbase and revenue stream. why do poeple think behavior hates one specific portion of their users. this is such an absurd nonsense trope to push over and over and act like its any kind of sensible opinion
Its pretty obvious from the history of patches that Bhvr does favor killer over survivor. This is an undeniable fact.

Are you basing your comment that killer is “easy as hell” on your own experience? If so, can you share your killer hours played as I’m curious how much experience you have. I was hoping to get some thoughts from people who play both sides regularly to see if they feel like killer is too easy and survivor is too difficult.
Counter question: So analyzing basic gameplay is now a matter of a fair role time distribution?
-
So you like to wait for an hour or so?
-
It’s because BHVR hates survivor players. - Thats just it. We got a overbuffed Jason, we have several unneeded nerfs incoming, we have a massive amount of tunneling/slugging issues, we still have to deal with Ghoul as is, we have 2vs8 that splits queues even more, and several people just play killer cause its easy as hell.

Exactly! That's why i think they should allow for the reroll of one daily, so everyone can do the dailies they enjoy!
This isnt a daily ritual. Its an rift or event quest. And those are totaly fine.
-
Boons are by far too weak to warrant such a change. Also the comparisons between Boon and Hex are totally stupid if you do not understand that Hexes do something (mostly) the entire time while Boons basically just do something once a game, if certain prerequistes are met. Also is the time invest most likely be better used on a gen than looking for a useful boons and setting it up.
-
The filters are just completely random. In one sentence a word can be censored and in the next sentence its totally fine. Also, why is there no option to disable the censorship at all? If I cant even see what theyre throwing at me, its not even worth reporting it, cause it could be just alright.
-
As I already wrote in the other thread: the last UI change—which lets you see whether your teammates are doing something or not—also had hardly any noticeable impact on gameplay. Most players simply don't understand what that information is supposed to tell them. So, what is the point of telling a teammate to go for the unhook if they don't react to it at all. So I am more afraid of this being used to troll than actuall having a positive effect (that it normally should have).

Well apparently that wasn't the case
It would, if we actually had a priority system. But we dont have this. You just bridge the time youre waiting with a survivor game. If you give up fast it doesnt change the fact ypu have to wait.

We can just pray that they will implement an option to disable this. Cause I guess more people will just use it to annoy people than actual people would take advantage of this. Most people still dont understand what the UI tell you to do, so why should we hope this would change now?
-
I am more likely to disagree. Why? Its not about how good or bad a player himself can play. Its about how good or bad a player can objectively analyze gameplay. Its like saying, a trainer should show first how good he once played before giving advice as trainer (and the best trainers mostly never played on high level). You just dont need the mechanical confirmation. Most people either lack objectivity or the ability to proper analyze situations, and those things cannot be shown, you just know that those people are wrong. And it mostly doesnt make sense to discuss with those people as they woulkd never accept their wrongdoing.
-
DbD in a nutshell. Just biased double standards.

im explaining and giving points and you just deny anything. Is it really so hard to understand that it feels ######### getting bmed as killer in a survivor sided game, with BHVR who only caters to survivors? But what should i except from survivor mains.
Thx for showing your true colors. there is no reason in discussing with someone having such a bias, thats commonly known being false.

Pretty good job so far to repost a biased cc. With a little bit of thinking you bit udnerstand that this statement is false beyond comparison.

Your point is still not valid, you could still emote like once or stay to force the killer to push you out and distract. But can’t help survors who crying because they can’t bm.
Who gets taunted by a single emote? NONE. This makes no sense.

@HexFelix said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4105508#Comment_4105508
They also try killing slugging/tunneling which are needed strategy’s on killer side nowadays. Even than this could be used as a distraction, even more since killers now know you made yourself a better target. And tagging at the exit gates shouldnt be a thing, you can just stay and force the killer to push you out for distraction.
Slugging/tunneling is another story for itself as it entirely dictrates the whole gameplay. Its pathetic to even mentioning this in here. Emoting at the exit is a thing and its fine in the case i told you. Youre just generalzing everything for your bias.
-
Its funny how people always claim teabagging to be only a matter of toxicity. Emoting is also used as a part of taunting the killer to change targets, escpecially at exit gates to buy enought time for your mates to survive. So bhvr intentionally kills of another strategy part on survivor. If we would go as far as killer bias, they would also need to get rid of killer BMing survivors, which is much more common nowadays.
-
And still no sane survivors even thinks about playing the game mode. Ask yourself why.
-
Nobody is gonna nerf gen speed, cause there is no reason to do so, as well as there is no reason to buff regression again.

Ironically i pulled that one off by having a friendly killer that id run infront of then id run to a locker, and repeated that till the achievement popped lol.
Another method seems to be against legion players if they hit and run to the next target you can go to a locker before the chase ends each time. Then get out and mend when the chase ends
This was aleays a thing, so why complain after Chapter 41? You obviously did this for years now. Also, thats just how DLC achievements work in all games.

What? It's not an easy thing to fix
So buying server infrastructure is hard to do? Sigh.6
-
Especially on killer you shouldnt be able to make the game easier for yourself by changing the volume options (like upping footsteps).

@LordGlint said:

Not quite. You have plenty of perks that might be popular on specific killers, but not by the general killer roster as a whole. That still hasn't stopped BHVR from nerfing stuff like STBFL that was only really seeing high usage from killers like Pig and Demo. BBQ on the other hand which has been amongst the most popular killer perks in general has never seen a nerf unless you count the BP part.
But sure. Everytime bhvr went for a meta overhaul the only argument they brought up was popularity. Never they mentioned any reasonable issues with those perks (not that there even would have been any issue to argue with).
-
@LordGlint said:

Those stats are showing popularity, not effectiveness. Chances are animatronic, Wesker, Huntress, deja vu and windows arnt all facing nerfs because of popularity either. Ghoul... maybe, lol
Popularity was the most used reason by bhvr to apply nerfs. No matter if its reasonable or not.

Naw whoever downvoted you is insane. This idea is actually Gold.
It would be way easier then the PTB which only PC Players can access, and it would probably also be easier to make changes or just remove something from the Gamemode instead of Killswitching it entirely.
My only concern is, i think they are quite literally, not able to do that. Probably because of the Code.
If they changed it for the Gamemode, it would probably also be changed for the normal Que. Which is probably also the reason why The effects in 2v8 for example are completetly different from Perks.Whats the point in letting thousands of biased players and thousands of players that have not a tiny bit of gamesense, decide on perk changes? Actually not even the devs do their math on perks properly.
-
So you do not understand the concept of early access?
-
So with the stats its obvious we get an emergency Pain nerf, right? RIGHT?
-
Makes no sense because there is a bunch of people just downvoting everything they dont like for no proper reason.
-
Bhvr will never have enough balls to adress "killer strategies" in a meaningful manner. So the mode would still be a tunnel-fiesta like its right now. Totally atrocious to play as survivor.
-
@Crowman said:
Sprint Burst has been one of the strongest exhaustion perks for pretty much the entire game's life. Dead Hard was nerfed years ago when it held the crown.
If people want the game to be less stale and not just see the same handful of perks all the time, then we need to actually nerf perks that have been seeing the same high usage for years.
Thats the same mindset as devs have and its completely wrong. You NEVER nerf a perk to change the meta unless the perk itself is problematic. Is Sprint Brust problematic? No it isnt. Killers just like to trashtalk every perk they dont like, no matter the actual worth of it. And not being able to come up with a single reasonable argument. And this just keeps on going until every perk is nerfed without any reason. If you just nerf everything into bein useless you can just stop using any perks at all.
If you want to change the meta you have to bring perks on the same level as those ones being used (while not being problematic for a proper reason).
-
The only skill killers show is how well they tunnel out the first survivor. And then cry a river if it doesnt work well enough, cause theyre bad players. 9 out of 10 games are utterly pathetic gameplay.

Items are not randomized. The Rarity is but Survivors still can choose which items they want to bring. I love playing against 4 medkits with no way to bring any healing slowdown

Survivors don't understand this is a fun mode either, t-bagging every match when you lost even when you were playing nicely, also there's nothing wrong with killing as killer (tunneling, tell me why killer can't kill) and survivors surviving (gen rushing), like trying to win using any means necessary shouldn't be forbidden.
Its hilarious that people still try to defend it this way. You just unmasked yourself.
-
@DanielPaint1 said:
Chaos Shuffle: The point of the mode is that everthing is random. Well except for Survivors. They still can bring every item they want to
Lights out: The point of the Mode is that everything is dark for both sides without any perks. Well except for Survivors. They now get free Windows of Opportunity
Killers can bring in every killer they want.
Lights out is literally the worst mode to play as survivor. Its just disadvantage over disadvantage.
-
Killer players just dont udnerstand thats this is a fun mode and are trying dead seriously to compensate for whatever lack of skill they have.
-
Potential maybe. But with those devs there is no way this could ever happen.

Its just another proof that bhvr has lost all game sense.

It would make it actually possible to avoid the grab attack and avoid the first injury a bit longer, and would make it so that, like Blight, skill is rewarded and you don't have 12 years to perform another leap
How exactly can this avoid an auto-aim attack that lingers for ages? I dont think you understand how Ghoul works.
-
What exactly should this achieve?
