add a second player base would double the lobby timer, also it wouldn't be fair forcing people not to play with them friends.
-
i opened a thread about it a while ago. Despite its big popularity, no devs has ever wrote even a line about it. It's a big security breach...
-
You really shouldn't expect survivors to know the totem spawns on every map
But we should expect killers to win a 4v1, with the current gen speed, winning 12 chases because tunneling and camping are bad, lel.
-
that's what happens with procedural map creation, a minimum number of pallets to be respected and linking loops to the game progression (i.e. the gen being completed, hence the door open).

110% movespeed killers can't catch up to survivors around small object loops until bloodlust kicks in. If my math is correct, the the killer collision zone would have to be at least 110% of the survivor collision zone assuming the loop was a circle and would need to be even larger for a rectangular loop.
Take a look at the image. Does that appear to be the case? While it is possible I did the math wrong, do you honestly think the difference in size is enough to make looping a real possibility?
you're right, looping huntress even around medium rocks in the swamp is deadly.

Chances are we're being lied to. I've got an incredibly strong suspicion that the capsule they displayed isn't for collision detection, but the zone for detecting if you're close enough to an interactable object such a pallet or a locker. I'm willing to bet $20 that the "slashable zone" is also the capsule for collision detection.
it's a mix of bigger capsules and basically badly polished and shaped objects (one of the biggest in my mind is the car in bad ham near the house, and the other car near preschool.

when the trap is placed, its key is being created and drafted into one of the boxes. That's how it works, one box can contain the key for multiple traps just like can contain no keys at all.

So, why Survivors can run through stalking Myers? Or why Killer after hitting Survivor in a corner loses his collision?
It is a game, for better expirience I think Survivors shouldn't be able to bodyblock each other.
I can think of so many downsides.
first of all, body blocking the killer would be too easy, multiple fast vaults at the same time would be a major buff for survivors, if two survivors compenetrated get hit, who takes the hit? what if I want to protect someone cleansing a totem/doing an unhook?
-
Because they aren’t made of thin air
-
Long story short: everyone is just debating on how to call it, but, no matter how you call it, it’s something that hinders the killer, making him miss many hits.
-
I guess no. The max i’ve ever seen was 20.
but i got once a weird bug where my player level was like at 17234 devotion, so there’s no cap. P.S. The number will be kinda glitched (exactly like when you have 1k addons), since they never thought someone could stack it up so high.
-
he played too clean and respectful, for example at 5:12, he should have slugged and proxy camped. Also at 1:58 he failed to close the game not founding claudette.
then again, he didn't exactly finished every chase quickly (but he clearly is way stronger than most people with nurse).
to answer your question: killers can't do any mistakes, that's why.
-
probably not. You can't even fill the report reasons like on PC. The only people I have tracks being banned on ps4 are either glitch abuser or, well, you know.
-
i have some issues with "like this", cause it might be related to witch-hunting or ######### like that.
i wanna see @OmegaXII screen now if possible

Last december so it's not that long ago
post the screen, otherwise it's just fake

ahahahah, sure I would add a 10 minutes ban for every lobby dodge. Have fun waiting 30 minutes instead of 20 for a match, rofl.
-
They didn't take any measures against a clear and easily detectable issue (aka wake up bug), they won't take any measure against a "borderline" """""""""""""tech""""""""""""".
-
you should have been around when they nerfed bloodletting tee claudette, rofl.

As I said, what if one survivor is body blocked in a corner and all of the other survivors had previously died? The survivor cannot escape via the hatch because they're being blocked and EGC isn't triggered because all of the previous teammates died.
Also, even if the game can end while body blocking one survivor, that survivor's game is completely ruined for no good reason.
The rules should stay as they are IMO.
if there's only 1 survivor left, then of course is holding the game in hostage. But, as I said, with egc nobody should hypothetically being banned if they body block someone. There's no good reason? Of course, but technically, from what devs told us, it should not be bannable (if at least two survivors are still up).

If a killer body blocks a survivor in a location where they are unable to move for an entire match then that should be ban worthy. What if they're the last survivor and end-game collapse isn't triggered?
holding game in hostage doesn't mean not being able to move. It means that the only way to end the match is by DCing. Even at 5 gen, if I bodyblock one survivor, the match can still end for everyone, if the rest of the team triggers EGC.
-
too many doctors=nerf him
damn, they really messed with people's mind when they said "ruin is overused then we'll nerf it".
-
tbh, nowadays, since egc exist, killer body blocking survivor should never be considered holding game in hostage. Actually sooner or later im gonna start a thread about this outdated ban reason.
-
bad killer, add-on dependent as #########, and boring to face as survivor (and also horrible to play as killer)
-
either a 10 seconds animation when opening the hatch or only 1 survivor escape through key, otherwise keys are always gonna be the strongest item in-game.
-
That's so true.
as survivor with godlike perks like ds, dead hard or unbreakable you can save games and sloppy loops, while as killer I can instantly understand when a missed hatchet or being cucked by auto-aim is gonna cost me the match.
-
the cows hanged to the cow loop tree and the pigs in Gideon's should count right?

Please read the whole post. Everything is explained.
And no, shrine is not 100% RNG, its always:
- 2 survivior perks and 2 killer perks
- 2 free perks and 2 paid perks (auric or shards)
they can call it whatever they want (last time was object detection or ######### like that), it's something that hinders the killer, that good survivors can manipulate and that should get deleted.
-
oh yes no auto-aim, maybe one of the biggest lie after shrine being completely RNG and out of their power.
-
I see nothing wrong here. Devs wanted grinding challenges and they should have expected a backfire like on the last rift.
-
Yeah it's pretty stupid how the hard cap starts only with 3 people on a gen.
-
If you have played just 3 months, then drop the game.
I'm not joking, this game will haunt you, many people are so mad and stressed because they sank so many hours (too many) in the game to just drop it.
also, I don't know how much time is left for DbD, maybe two years at best? idk, in the end the choice is up to you (from a ~3 years player)
-
making profit isn't obvious?
-
spirit so I don't have to face her anymore and meg so that I can play a normal match, without a baby meg ruining everything :)

I thought the devs said one dedicated servers comes out when a survivor DCs they will leave their husks so the killer can still kill them. What happened about that plan?
I asked it in an old thread. What I got is the same ol' bullshit: "soon"

an entire text wall just to say that tea bagging is used to break focus.

np, after all the answer was similar to your suggestion, just mixed with some hacking.

They are somehow playing from pc. Just report them and they will get banned quickly. Something like this happened before.

Actually, in most casesit's not like a cheater plays on ps4, it's a pc hacker that enabled crossplay somehow. There have been some posts on Reddit about that.
If that's the case, isn't this a big security breach or smith like that?

From the icon by their name they're on windows store which, I believe, is crossed between windows and Xbox. Therefore they could sync their steam and their windows store game, as its on the same pc, which would then allow them to play on Xbox with their pc profile.
I think anyway, don't quote me on this.
I'm on ps4 tho.
-
Sounds like something that younger me would have loved.
sadly I grew up and I don't care no more if robin and starfire are engaged or if Alexis and Jaden are engaged.
-
Actually I don't think it's a doctor specific (although I did it just to be sure with doc).
I think that something like infectious fright, Iron Maiden or even simple m1 and/or downs shouldd work.
-
I mean other than infectious fright, what's the matter if I'm afflicted by unnerving presence or something like that?
-
Use wglf to make sure those hits counts. Just take two hits as the killer is carrying someone.

Do you have any examples? Not that I don't believe that there have been, I think many devs do shadow nerfs, unfortunately. Just wondering if you have any in mind?
Trapper's traps aura being one of the biggest, hag's reduced (more like nullified) lunge after teleport, most of bubba's add-ons are useless (the bona they grant is worthless), spirit father glasses add-on (before it had bloodhound incorporated).

Yeah but people can easily check the game's files and see if changes are made.
there are so many shadownerfs people never realized tho.

agreed, id like that to be kept secret but you can tell 25% with the pistons as for items etc. thats another issue for me when i dont wanna have to keep checking their wiki
that's the definition of shadownerf. If they would show 3%-15% and so, people could just time the difference, finding their shadownerfs. Using those words as reference, they can add as many changes as they please.
-
They're covering the percentages so they can change the values whenever they want.

Can wait to see what they broke :)
