How you don't just either do gens or let yourself die after 4-5 minutes and go next is beyond me. You kinda did it to yourself.
-
One day I hope BHVR makes a hedorah style pollution/toxic garbage monster just so when I get called a trash killer I can reply "I mean I am literally made up of garbage yes" and just get malding as a response.

His TR isn't deceptive. If you're having trouble hearing it, use Spine Chill.
You can ShiftW in a straight line on most Maps
I'm not saying you can't lol I'm saying that's an awful idea against slinger.

His gun is shorter than his TR
And? His TR is deceptive always has been and you still can't run in a straight line away from them in chase.

Survivor: 8 my looping good be stronger but my game sense is good otherwise.
Killer: 9 of course is varies wildly depending on the killer but if I'm playing one of my mains I usually at least 2k but probably 3k or 4k. It's rare for me to get completely blown out.

Again, you're both ignoring how ShiftW deletes his 1v1, which is the only thing he has.
You can't just hold W against a gun with a range of 18 meters lol.
-
Slinger feels much worse to play but still has many strengths. Windows are still a death sentence of the slinger has LoS and ledges don't bother him at all. I think he's worse than trickster because trickster is more explosive but slinger's 1v1 is still disgustingly good. I'd put them low B tier.
-
The thing is it's not gonna do anything against the best killers. Nurse, Blight, Huntress, Spirit don't care much about this. Hell even wraith can deal with it okay.
-
Do the tutorial for both sides. If you wanna play together survivor obviously.
If the have any interest in killer have them start with Wraith or Huntress and then find a video explaining all the killers if they like the role.
-
To actually answer the question there were some flashlight changes in 1.9.2 that made getting saves stupid easy I think and it only lasted a couple days. I was taking a break at the time so I wasn't around for it but heard it was a nightmare.
-
I always wanted a skinwalker.
-
Me Mikaela main hoping people don't realize she got a spring, summer, and greek outfit in the span of a few months and a very likely a winter outfit later this year.
-
I don't think that's how that works but I am looking forward to seeing the impact of reassurance on the game.
I don't camp much but I will try to force 2nd stage if I see them getting close to it and not being able to do that sounds huge. The play will probably be to go after the person with reassurance when they try to use it I would imagine. Which is fine if 1 or 2 have it but a full team with it sounds brutal. It might literally force 12 hook games in those situations.

Game is "Who wants to win" sided.
If you play in SWF group and bring all best items, addons, offerings with good map for your team and play the most effective way, you have very big chance to win even againts top tier killers.
If you play the best killer with best addons with best offering and play the most "unfair" effective way you have good chance to win even againts SWF.
This is the only correct answer.
-
These are indeed dark times.
Although tbf it was kinda always like this just the mob was mostly on twitter so outta sight mostly but they've seemed to have spread to on here as well.
-
mmmmm....yeah but it's hard and takes a lot of game knowledge and thinking, complaining about it being not easy while suggesting alf and knightlight are the killers in all my survivor games and anyone who says they do escape is probably just getting baby killers seems better than trying to improve.
-
This is not a thing I have ever thought about and probably never would have...but I kinda want it now. So I don't think a straight gorilla works in dbd and the only example I can really think of is king kong who is obviously far too big BUT there are tons of sasquatch and yeti horror movies and that would be pretty close to a gorilla.
As for a power I'm not sure maybe some sort of roar AoE that creates a hinder or a dash that goes through walls and pallets? Kinda at a loss tbh as they're not really known for anything other than brute strength and being able to hide well.

Plague being the 5th best killer in the game? I strongly disagree with this one.
Plague counters the best perks and items in the game with green purge and can end chases as fast as a nurse or blight while chewing through health states of multiple survivors as well as bubba in unhook situations when they have red purge. The only thing that holds them back is fountain RNG and survivors that know how to cleanse at the fountains most inconvenient for you to go to.
-
If you don't wanna pay any money? Trapper since Brutal Strength and Agitation are both decent perks.
If you want the actual good ######### though? Nemesis for Lethal Pursuer and Eruption or Cannibal for BBQ and Franklin's. The Cannibal suggestion might seem strange but people underestimate how game changing good items are and the aura reading is always good unless you're playing Trapper or Hag.
-
I disagree with a lot of his dredge takes. First saying Dredge isn't map dependent is just wrong, Dredge is a nightmare on any indoor map but Dredge can feel like the worst killer in the game on a map like Shelter Woods where there's 6 lockers on the whole map and the loops generally don't complement your revenant very well and the farm maps are much the same. I also don't agree Dredge has average add-ons I feel like they actually have some of the best add-ons in the game with good selections at every rarity. Calendar and Skull can feel like a different game at times with making lockers way less annoying and skull getting you many more nightfalls per game like besides war helmet and pillow I don't think dredge has any bad add-ons.
I think overall I'd put Dredge high C tier I think Dredge is probably the most overrated killer in the game. Extremely map dependent and can feel sluggish in chase but extremely good add-ons and extremely short downtime between chases gives them some strengths but overall dredge is very loopable and at the end of the day that's what matters most. You can make a killer with ever strength in the world other than antiloop but if they're easy to loop they're never better than B tier.
I'd switch Dredge and Trickster in Otz's tier list and then I more or less agree with the rest.
-
Yeah it was def only survivors that complained about RPD....
-
You can do it but it's not really worth it unless you have the shingle or got the 85% charge warning sound. I think it's 6 c/s and you need 300 charges so it would take you 50 seconds to get nightfall just by sitting in a locker which is like two gens gone if survivors are efficient and brought PT.
Shingle only raises it to 7c/s (technically 6.9 but I'm assuming they round up to keep it clean) so you would get it in about roughly 43 seconds by just sitting in lockers with shingle.
-
Actually the most Chad wraith doing psychological warfare to wear the survivors down.
-
Low Profile/Sole Survivor/Wake Up/Clairvoyance is gonna be the "I don't trust a single ######### person in this lobby" build.

Wraith becoming even more stealthy while standing completely still suggests otherwise.
Literally named one of the most mobile killers lmao.
If you're camping with wraith you're missing the entire point of the killer like half your add-ons make you do things faster and the other let's you ambush survivors on gens easily ######### are you doing?
-
Today I learned random bits of code could be considered toxic.
-
I firmly believe Pig should go back to 28m so her stealth is actually usable.
-
I try my best to win but I usually do it in a chill way and I try not tunnel and let peopleget at least some points as I have hundreds of flans on my killers so I always bring one. I see a map offering especially a game forest or farm one any form of mercy is gone and I will tunnel someone out at 5 gens if I can.
I simply view it as trying to rig the game and making sure I don't have a good time so my empathy flies out the window.
-
Artist is the 4th best killer in the game and I don't think it's debatable. She can get downs from pretty much anywhere on the map. I don't even buy they get countered by holding W, you just have to predict pathing correctly and they go down all the same.
-
I'm weird when it comes to altruism, I usually focus on gens and let my teammates save because two people rushing a hook can be pretty catastrophic if done poorly and generally people want those unhook points so it's not an issue I am however the idiot that will save during EGC when it's unlikely everyone is getting out alive and be the one to die after not being hooked all game. So I guess I'm only altruistic when it's the worst time to be lol.
-
No Mither is the worst perk by far, no I don't care you brought resilience to go with it nothing excuses making yourself useless in chase and giving up all the time another health state would have given you. And if you come across Oni your existence threw the game from the start.
There are a lot of bad perks but No Mither is the only perk where literally leaving the perk slot empty is preferable.
-
Your team failed you big time if you looped the killer the killer for any considerable amount of time and they only did two gens.
So either you got really bad teammates or you got megarolled in chase.
-
I actually like soloQ, yes it's frustrating sometimes but if you play for points and not escapes it's extremely doable to finish with 20k+ almost every game. I just wish the matchmaking was better when I get a team where we're all at least 1.2k hours escaping still isn't that hard but when I get teammates with 300 hours I know I can't rely on them and I have to play for hatch. I can't even offer to take chase because they act allergic to gens and follow me around with a gd flashlight. So yeah a lot of ups and downs but overall enjoy it.
-
I agree with the OP people don't understand two people stuck doing an action is so much worse than one person doing the action while the other does a gen. If I want a heal I'll ask for it otherwise let me use my gd medkit I brought it for a reason.
-
We really out here acting like killers can't run discordance and 3 slowdown/regression perks.
I especially can't believe we out here acting like PT isn't countered by normal game play. Hook one person chase another now a 3rd has to go for the unhook and no PT speed boost is happening.
-
I really like the new outside area so new RPD for that alone.
-
I'm very new to PH but I always wanted to learn them and been having a blast so far.
1. Been running I'm all ears, Lethal, Deadlock, Merciless Storm to start but look forward to branching out eventually.
2. For a SH2 chapter I'd want Maria and Angela for survivors, The amusement park for the map and for the killer idk as I don't think you could make them work in DBD like scarlet and asphyxia are cool but thier designs are too inhuman. Maybe The Missionary I guess.
-
I swear some people arn't going to be happy until survivors have no viable perks left.
Literally just slap on discordance and break up the PT it's not that hard, nobody was complaining about PT before, they had to nerf 5-6 other perks for us to get to this point.
-
Hag is still very solidly A tier they just have very niche appeal and that's okay. You could argue the fact that because hag has barely ever been touched she's one of the most well designed killers BHVR has ever made.

Not true, before 6.1 during that anniversary event with the flans killer queues were insanely long too, even with old DH and DS working during endgame playing killer was fine, especially with bbq farming BP was very easy even if you lost the game it didn't matter, it was never as bad as current solo Q
It's pretty disingenuous to suggest anni was the average when that's obviously not true.
-
I feel like people don't understand how absolutely in the gutter killer populations were before this. It was pretty common for the survivor to killer ratio to be around 30:1 at any given time because nobody wanted to deal with how stressful playing killer was which put strains on queue times and on sbmm. I'm not sure if they went overboard or not although I lean towards no but regardless BHVR absolutely needed to make playing killer more enjoyable than it was.
-
It's pretty common for me to get the same map a couple times in a row or on the same day, last session I had 3-4 games in a row on Ormond.
-
Some hag games could easily last this long if the hag gets a good 3 gen and this would let people bail instead of sticking it out.
-
Agree and nice to see a thread that isn't completely unhinged.
-
tbf like half the nemmy players probably gonna turn into wesker players after the chapter comes out so this is temporary.
-
To play? Nurse because as mentioned staring at the ground constantly is just obnoxious.
To play against? Legion probably since literally the way you counter them is to have someone not be anywhere near anything so legion can't get full frenzy value. It's literally a killer that deincentivises interaction with the killer and playing with your team so they're just insanely boring to me.

Yes, please waste a perk slot that could be dying light/thanatophobia/PR/gift of the pain to shattered hope!
Lmao why tf would I run dying light or thana? xD
-
Yes please waste 28 seconds booning a hex just so I can step on it with shattered hope.
-
Some of us like the update and if you don't like it than don't play it's not complicated. Like I'm not asking anyone who doesn't like it to play but if you hate it that much please just uninstall it'll make the game better if the only people playing it are people that actually want to. And if you start up the game for the first time since the update just finish the game then uninstall if you can't wait 10 minutes to do that you're just a child.
-
They signed up for what the game is when they readied up so yes I will continue to blame them, don't like what the game is now? Then don't even turn it on but don't boot it up and then ruin the game for other people.
