I fail to see where I responded in an angry or mean way, but I expect you to call anything "angry and mean" that is not supporting your opinion.

But since you seem to have difficulties to tell "use" and "abuse" apart, I can see where you are coming from.

Billy with BBQ and Ruin is broken, but Claudette with SC, SB, DS is fine?

I think you just lack understanding of gamebalance. You want to buff an ability for ALL survivor, because ONE killer is pretty good at using one perk, that is mediocre on all other killer. Survivor are just skins (expect for Claudette, she is a Ninja), but killer actually different from each other, but you want to treat them as if they are the same.

  • @ForkyDorky

"Maybe the issue is that not enough people play alone/solo?"

Roughly 50% of all survivor play solo.

The Devs said that on stream, that just above 50% of all survivor join the game via the "SWF" button, including people playing solo and using that option anyway.

  • Because more BP do not make up for the lack of fun.

  • More BP = bribing

  • @Nea_Death_Experience

"Clearly you never play survivor. It was hard to play VS a billy, spirit and nurse with BBq because they were always on someone. With the right stuff you get pretty much everyone every time or at least are always finding people. Please play both sides."

Nice assumption, sweetie. But unfortunately your wrong.

But let me guess, you do not play killer, because you seem to be ok to give survivor broken tools to combat a killer at the top level without regard to all the remaining killer that can not zoom across the map.

We have 14 killer right now and only 2 are on the powerlevel that you target and you still think that's totally ok?

The bias must be strong in you.

  • @Prisoner6969

"Absolutely right. Game is already heavily stacked in killers favour"

Killer favor?? Serious? And you post THAT in a thread that askes for more ways to get rid of a healthstate?

Do you see the Ironie yourself or do I need to spell it out?

  • It's a tactical decision. If you can find a weak link in the team that you can chase much easier, you can create a snowball effect.

Long chases can be good if the survivor is wasting a lot of pallets right away, but overall a too long chase will hurt the killer, especially if the survivor are good and watch out for good gen placement and leave you with ondone gens that are far away from each other.

Sometimes you need to break the chase after a couple of broken pallets to keep patrolling the gens.

Usually you do not want to chase those guys that WANT to get chased. Most likely they are the better runner of the team and waste the most of your time.

  • The forum is "killersided", because the game itself is "survivorsided".

That's why so many killer player lash out at bad ideas.

Survivor asking for survivor buffs in a survivorsided game is simple doomed to created a backlash for logical reasons. :P

  • @Hoodedfengm1n

"You can still do the normal things to a legion, its just harder, you can still

    1. 360 legion
    2. loop legion
    3. DS legion
    4. Flashlight legion

People just don't see the weaknesses because they have tunnel vision sometimes"

I completely agree with you. Way to many people claim it is "impossible" to counter him, but in fact it is just harder.

You can still palletstun him, loop and juke. And often his frenzy ends and stuns him in the worse moments.

By now it is basically just another survivor meme that Legion is "impossible to counter", because if it would be like that, no one would consider him an F-Tier killer like Freddy.

  • Nice necro, because we need more Noed threads, right?

  • Billy was the killer who got the most out of BBQ and guess what?

    It got nerfed 2 times.

Same with Tinkerer, which was only really strong on Billy; guess what?

    It got completely reworked.

  • @switch

"The devs need to do only 1 thing to fix him. REMOVE HIS 1-SHOT."

  • @HeroLives

So you are not complaining about the add ons, but actually about the whole MAIN POWER??

    XD

    That is even funnier.^^

  • Insta chainsaw? So he has NO charge up time?

Just click M2 and the saw goes off?

    Really?^^

(I like how survivor call everything "insta" or "free". XD )

  • "A monster scared of a couple chicks & dudes sitting around the campfire with keys & medkits did make me laugh alot though, so I thank you for that!"

Actually you are right… you described the problem pretty well. What you said should never be the case.

The issue is, that the "monster" should be in the powerrole of the game, right?

I just don't expect you to draw the right conclusion from this. :P

But what do I know about a game that I play since 2016, right?

  • I use SC all the time and I heal most likely multiple time every match.

  • @Master

And past the noob ranks everybody is right to assume it in 90% of the cases.

Global pick rate is at 84-86% (I am not sure, but do 2% matter?^^).

So at high ranks you can expect it to be even higher, because more peopl ehave access to use it.

  • Discordance won't do anything, if the survivor do a proper gen rush.

Because the best gen rush is done with each survivor doing a different gen and never gang up on one gen.

  • This is going nowhere, dude.

I won't answer to you personally anymore… just to protect myself from getting banned again for attacking survivor mains.

I can't convince you, no matter how often I rephrase my arguments… you are impervious to logic. You won't get it, so I am out.

    Enjoy… you "won" the debate.^^

  • I so need a lol-button now.^^

  • No matter what… Thana needs a huge buff desperately.

    The perk now is garbage.

  • @TreemanXD

But 86% are using it. You can turn it like you want. The MAJORITY of survivor is running it.

The pickrate of SC is of the charts… no other perk has a pickrate like that. Not even Ruin or BBQ. SC reigns supreme. That's what it is. And it is picked that often for a reason. It is unbalanced af. And everybody -including the Devs- knows it.

  • @bannerlemur

"But either both sides should be able to see players they are playing against or neither."

You actually choose to ignore everything posted before, right?

One side (survivor) abused it and got it removed.

The other side did NOT abuse it and kept it. Blame your fellow survivor.

And again. stalking at the campfire is INTENDED.

But I know… the usualy, no matter how often some fake-arguments get debunked… the most stubborn people will "win" any forum debate, because they don't care and keep repeating their points no matter what. So... enjoy.

  • @MineAntoiya

No, there is NO auto aim on PC. I actually asked that question on stream and got answered.

The answer is NO, there is no auto aim (on PC). Just hitdetection. I know that there are a lot of cheesy misses that should have been hits, but it is NOT "auto aim" locking onto something.

  • @bannerlemur

Try to quote me where I said that. Won't work, but try, buddy.

Unpolit people would call you a LIAR, so stop trying to put things into my mouth.

    Nice try, but still pathetic.

Killer have all the rights to dodge set ups they don't like (multiple torches or toolboxes) and guess what? That's intended from the get go. Killer stalking survivor at the campfire is an intended balance mechanic.

    ~cry me a riiiiiiiver~sing~

  • @TreemanXD

Yea, sure, the forum is full of people claiming to never use SC, but in reality 86% of all survivor are using it (Devs stats).

So it is quit obvious that this perk is op af.

  • Self Care.

"If you get looped for to long, just switch targets"

Oh wait a single M1 hit usually needs 30-40 seconds and SC needs 32 seconds.

People saying: "If the survivor manages to escape the killer, he deserves to heal up" are the same saying: "If you dislike SC, just don't lose the injured survivor."

    #########?

  • The word you are looking for is "balanced".

    They got balanced.

  • Actually it is NOT "auto aim locking on", because there is NO auto aim (on PC).

But the hitboxes of awake survivor get registered despite being invulnerable.

That needs to change. No matter the mechanic behind it, but awake survivor should be excluded from hitdetection.

  • Putting beartraps in chokepoints and the survivor run past it, but the killer can't, because the Devs reduced the effective size of beartraps.

(I personally reported that issue and it was acknowledged on stream to be unintended, but never got fixed.)

  • Not being able to pick up a downed survivor while he gets healed by an awake teammate, when playing Freddy.

  • Seriously?

    Someone is asking this??

How is it not obvious how this is unfair and open to abuse by voice com SWF??

The whole thing that lockers cover auras should have never been a thing to begin with. At least not for an unlimited amount of time.

You want more camping? Go nerf the best perk that would reduce it: BBQ.

  • Again… @bannerlemur please try to educate yourself before posting. We have gone over that already. For gods sake: read BEFORE responding. Thx.

  • Sounds like a YOU-issue.

  • @bannerlemur

Funny... some people don't even notice if they embarrass themselves.

Maybe try reading before answering. It has already been answered. But if it doesn't resonate with your echochamber, feel free to ignore it. Have a nice day.

  • @DexyIV

The 3rd party tool for this is still available. It was whitelisted before and got removed from the whitelist, but is still not blacklisted.

So you can still use it on your own risk, but getting banned for it is almost impossible.

And about killer, stalking at the campfire is already part of the game. Killer are meant to be in the power role here and if the survivor are so cocky to bring multiple torches or lunchboxes and got dodged, that's their fault.

Survivor on the other hand are meant to be surprised which killer they have to face.

  • @DexyIV

They used 3rd party software to create blacklists, so they get a warning every time they got a killer from their blacklist and could dodge them.

Survivor traded blacklists with each other to avoid all kind of playstyles they did not like.

Anybody flagged at some point for "camping", "slugging" or "tunneling" got traded on these lists.

No matter if it was actually true or made up survivor bs.

Even "not giving hatch" was a point for getting blacklisted.

Also people got blacklisted for playing certain killer (Nurse main, Billy main, Freddy player, Doc player), or using unwanted perks (BBQ user, Noed user, etc.).

So the survivor tried to force all killer to play by their rules or risking to get on blacklists and not finding lobbies anymore.

(Ofc a lot of good killer just made the lists for actually killing someone.)

  • It's always funny (weird?) to me, if one side abused something and after they got it taken away, they cry "but nobody should have it".

  • "Why some of you still put survival rate below 50% as an argument?"

    Because it fits their narrativ.

Everybody actually KNOWS that those stats are flawed, because survivor do not "need" to escape to "win/pip".

But with that stat the survivor mains can go up against any killer buff.

Way to many games turn into a 3K when it should have been a 1K, only because the cocky survivor try everything to rescue the last guy.

And don't forget all the DCs and suicides and of course all the poor survivor that die because the other survivor left to derank.

The escaperate would only be of any value for balance evaluation IF the survivor had a way stronger incentive to escape.

  • Survivor abused the crap out of this and that's why it was taken away from them.

  • @Adonisadon234

    It's just a hot topic since… forever…

Because like I said, the calculations for chases in relation to gen time is wrong from the start.

That's why killer feel kinda helpless against survivor that seriously want to escape instead of fooling around.

  • "Thana op !" *hahahahahaha*

I seriously waited for that day to come.^^

  • @Telli_Fury

I am not forcing anything on you. Please stay true to the facts. I just asked a simple question that you seem to keep dodging.

And of course you will get upvotes on your post, because there is a huge amount of survivor players that abused this feature themselves and are now mad that it was stripped from them and only THEM, and they want "revenge". Those people got their favorite tool to force their playstyle on others removed and if they can't get it back, they at least want that no one else can have it, because they expect them to abuse it the same way they did.

    That's your precious upvotes. ;)

  • @MhhBurgers

"This is why we need nerfs and mechanics that affect optimal survivors too or even more than regular survivors. For instance optimal survivors don't give a ######### about RUIN or stuff like overcharge or hitting their DS etc.

The answer wouldn't be to make these things harder but to rework them so that they affect everybody the same."

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EitZRLt2G3w

Some people don't get that concept. ;)

Maybe this video can help some people.

  • @EntityDispleased

And here comes the issue… the Devs jump in to protect the survivor from killer playing smart by adding ingame mechanics to give them an edge and force killer to play stupid (free exhaustion relief, invu frames, BT, DS).

  • All 3 perks are weak and won't make it to the meta.

Not even on certain killer (like Distressing on Doc or M&A on Myeres).

  • I always rank up waaaaay to fast... so I like the changes… now I can actively slow down my rank up speed and avoid the toxic red ranks longer.
