It's the same garbage with iri stone add on. The trap will always be moved. So if you closed a chokepoint and catch someone with the trap, you need to place that trap again, or th eiri stone will reopen it in an awkward position that does not trap the place you wanted it in.

The point I'm trying to make is that killers get gen rushed and then run to the forums or reddit to cry about how survivors have it so easy and every game is a cakewalk for them.
I can tell you that there are a lot of crappy games like the ones mentioned above. A lot. Its every few games.
Yeah some games they get to gen rush a killer and work great together. However some games they get hit with disconnects, insane lag, trolling from teammates, unsafe unhooks. If they disconnect from these games too they're told its bad on them and they lose two pips. So nerf survivors anymore and these crappy games get even crappier.
So we have the same doublestandards as usual.
Balance survivor around the worst possible teammates.
Balance the killer around the top notch best killer around there.To spell it out for you: THAT DOES NOT WORK.
Either you balance for bad player or you balance for good player. But you have to do it for BOTH sides.

Killer lobbies still take terribly long.

Ok 3 games on from the last game I mentioned.Game vs the spirit.
1 person instantly rage quits.
2nd person kills themself on hook.
Spirit goes full trthard against us last two. Tunneling hard.
I depip. Escape cake wasted.
Was I meant to just "git gud" and carry a team of 2 to victory?
Still think survivors have it easy?
At least killers lose under more fair circumstances. Because the opposing team played well. Whether thats looping well or being optimal on the gens. Survivors get royally screwed over. Its no wonder they're always so salty and only play SWF.
So you blame the killer for survivors playing like jerks?
-
@Attackfrog said:
Basically, the "Ceiling" for getting good is much higher for survivors than it is for killers.
If the follow some simple rules it is ez af.
-use SC
-spread out
-if not chased, do gens
-if injured self heal
-if chased, try to lose the killer
-if you can't lose the killer, waste his time
-only do safe unhooks, don't unhook if the killer is near -

Whose fault is it that SWF is the only way to play the game?
The sheer number of games I get with disconnects or purposeful farming is insane. SWF is the ONLY way to play the game and enjoy it. In fact thats a point. Killers have it soooo hard. Game after game tonight ive had a tool unhook each member of the team immediately after they've been hooked. You've got survivors basically going the killers job for them lmfao
But nooo its sooooo hard for killers!
Are you really that bad at mathematics?
How long does it take to down the first survivor?
If he is half way decent and knows what he does every hit will take ~30-40 seconds. At first with all the pallets available rather more than less. So plus the time to carry and hook, 3 gens can pop on the first hook.
Now tell me again, how is that not easy for the survivor?
At that point the killer can either camp the one kill or chase. After a free unhook, he can repeat the first chase and the gens are done and the gates are open on his 2nd hook.
But you will claim this calculations are false of course.
As usual.
No, I'll say what you would say...
Stop whining and git gud.
Don't put words into my mouth, buddy.
But nevermind… I see that you are impervious to reason, so why bother…

Shape is a mid tier killer.
Not even really good.
Some people rank him high/mid, but I consider him low/mid, because of his lack of map pressure.
I think he is a really scary killer to play against, but beside some jump scares he is rather mediocre.
So I am always kinda laughing about people complaining about him. -

This victim narrative needs to end.
That's exactly what I am saying. Survivor should just admit that they are the powerrole AND the numerous role.
They talk like they are "victim", but they are not.
The Devs need to start balancing the game so that killer are real threats and THAN we can talk about killer should play easy on the survivor. -
@powerbats said:
The other funny thing is post ame they say ez, as if it actually takes skill to sit there and camp a hooked survivor.
But unhooking someone is worse 1500 bloodpoints even if no on is near?
Pretty high reward for a non skillfull action without a risk. -
Survivor have these weird doublestandards which come from the wrong assumption that the killer is the powerrole of the game and would not need to use all the tools available.
Survivor "need" to use every cheesy crutch they can get, but killer should play "fair" and give them extra chances.
This is far from the truth, but they either don't get it or deny it even if they know it. -
@Mister_xD said:
welp... now the survivors can gain the vials with playing survivor and i suddenly find my lobbies much faster, so yeah... it was the event.Still the lobbies are taking way to long as killer, so I think it is not "just the event".

How about we just buff WGLF instead? BBQ has multiple counters, and if you still think it's OP, then you need to get good.And we get back the long survivor lobbies. Good idea. :P

Survivor are still to powerful.
If killer and survivor play on the same skilllevel, the killer will get 1K max. -
And since ranking up makes matches for killer more unpleasant, I could use camping to slow down my rank up.
-
@Nos37 said:
By the time you down Survivor B, you're no longer chasing Survivor A. The perk is only actively applying to whoever is being chased for the duration of the chase. Pick-ups hapen after chases end.If there is another survivor beside you, the chase won't automatically stop.
-
@AnotherRandy said:
Huh? You still think it's a bug?Actually yes. The waiting time did drop, but it is still to long to use it for a grind for vials.
-
@Slaymore said:
Well just about every camping killer uses #1 as an excuse to camp - saying they know others are near. FWIW I assume at my level every killer is using crutch perks (BBQ and Nurses Calling). I know the counters but it doesn't take away from the fact BBQ is 2 perks in 1.
Perk #1 is SELF CARE.
And than Ruin is on one level with SB, while BBQ is coming after it on the same level as DS.
Calling any killer perk a "crutch" while the holy survivor trinity is still up an drunning is nothing but a bad joke.
-
How about a new type of flashlight, with an overall buff in how fast it blinds, but a debuff for it when the killer is carrying someone?
-
@Nos37 said:
Unfair? You mean because you cannot dodge the flashlight seeing as how you're past the lobby ready-up stage?The only time a flashlight matters is during the Survivor pick-up. If you're no longer chasing the twice-hooked Survivor with a medkit then you will see the Survivor wielding a flashlight.
Are you #########?
I am talking about YOUR suggestion.
Nothing to do with lobby dodging, bob. Survivor pick up is exactly what I am talking about.
ALL look the same. So survivor A is triggering that perk, I -the killer- down survivor B and see survivor C nearby. Since C is having a MEDKIT in his hand, I just pick up B and get blinded from a flashlight that was not visible for me.
That is UNFAIR. -
@Nos37 said:
Shuffle the Deck
After being hooked twice by the Killer, all Survivors will appear to have the same appearance*, items, and injury status as you while you are being chased by the Killer. Visual changes only affect the Killer.
* Same Survivor skin, voice, and cosmetics.
Same ITEM? So someone will blind me with his medkit?
Sorry, but that is pretty unfair. -

Do not jump the very first gen you see.
Do not run towards the nearest objective.
Try to play stealthy until you know who the killer is and actually where?
Wait until he found someone else first and than take action.
I know, it's hard, because survivor love their gen rush and rather complain than adept, becasue that worked for 2 years now and Devs always gave what you asked for.
God why so bitter?
Why does it always boil down to "get gud"
Sometimes ######### just happens. There are times when you will be spotted even if you try to be stealthy. You can't win EVERY game.
[BAD WORD] lol at these killers whose excuse is always "dont be caught". Well fine, next time you cry about gen rush the answer will be "dont get gen rushed".
Where have I been bitter?
If someone is complaining to "always get caught first" and "always get camped", maybe he should consider my ideas.
It's not just "git gud", but maybe he should "adapt/adjust" his way to play.
If it only happens every couple of matches, you can say "crap happens" and get over it, but if that happens to you often and you get frustrated about it, look for a way what YOU can do first ingame, before you come crying to the forum.And about your crappy little "lol those killers"... we killer get the same stuff all the time from survivor player, "Just break the pallet"... "change target if the loop you"... "tunnel em before they heal"..."Mindgame them"... yadayada.
So my suggestion is actually something that is not just a meme, but an advice, while 99% of all survivor advice is just a blatant lie or complete missunderstanding of the game.I had a game where no one wanted to be caught first, and used your strategy. It took over 20 minutes for the killer to find everyone, and afterwards the whole team was accorded if holding the game hostage. 10/10 strat
Guess what? That is how the game was intended.

Thank you for your patience.There it is in plain lettering and nowhere does it say technical issues, this is why people tend to dismiss you so easily.
IF it would be just the distribution, this would affect survivor also.
And the problem would ease up when all the people that can't play killer, switch to survivor, which they already do, but it doesn't change anything.
And most important, bugged lobbies are a pretty common bug in this game and happening basically 2/3 of all patches. -

A shortage of survivor would also affect survivor player :P
But I get instant lobbies when I play survivor. -
Get real, this is not about player distribution.
Otherwise the issue would solve itsellf, because a lot of killer already switched to play survivor, to play at all.
That would balance out if it was just that.

Did you read my previous post ? I say that the game is killer sided.
When the killer is good, even good swf will loose with the current state.
I'm a 15 hours gameplay killer and i can manage to get 1/2k most of the time and sometimes 3/4k against a really good SWF (one of the best i know actually)...
lol
15 hrs and he things he knows the game.^^
You will NEVER get 3-4K vs a "really good SWF". I know it is hard to hear, but what you think is a "really good SWF" ist actually just trash, because they got killed by a 15hrs killer.
Wait until you meet "real good" player and we talk again. -

If you can't manage to honor steam bans/blocks, then implement your own.Yeah yeah block every good nurse such that you can have ez games.
We know where this is going to lead, thats why its not a thing
Says a salty killer. I don't mind being killed if the killer is good and plays by some level of sportsmanship - doesn't camp for example. If they go out of their way to be toxic then yes, I want to ban them. I've had threats from killers who I block on steam - this game should honor those blocks, plain and simple. Even with the poor killers if I die, I just move on to the next game. My post was about removing toxicity - if you think you're going to be banned by every survivor then maybe you should examine how you play.
I can't count the number of times I was accused of camping when I did not.
Survivor have strange perspectives of the game or just outright make things up.Some days ago, when I was able to play killer pre event, I played Wraith and left the hook and literally circled the complete map and came back towards the hooked victim when one ran for the unhook, guess what they called it? :P

You cant play a normal game anymore, the only players that are playing currently are those farming for the event.
And ofc, switching the sides in a 1:4 game leads to higher queue times (16 times longer), that should not be hard to understand.Its funny though how every "main" played their prefered role first, maxed it out and now wants to play the other side.
Can you read?? Like serious. I am a killer main and I have not maxed out my killer vials, because I CAN'T FIND LOBBIES!

Also nurse and billy shoudlnt even be allowed bbq with there map coverageBecause killer are under constant time pressure and need perks to shorten the finding and chasing one way or the other.
Either you pick perks that help you chase or help you track/find.
That's what perks are for in this game, brainiac.
Killer are supernatural beings and it is their power to appear just at the right time at the right spot. Check the sourcematerial. This is not kindergarten hide and seek. -
