There's a clear indication she's phasing, you would've noticed it by now if you had enough experience in the game. I don't feel like revealing it though just to keep bitter players that aren't willing to get better boiling under their own frustration.
I have a thousand hours. So let's say she is phasing how are you suppose to know where she will end up? While taking into account many
Spirits have Stridor and she has some of the best add-ons? And so tell me you're at a loop she phases I guess oh she's on that side I drop the pallet oh no you're stupid she pops up on the other side and downs me. You're telling me that it's fine that a survivor has no clue where she is?

@Crowman said:

The distance she can move while phasing is limited. Base she only has 5 seconds of phasing meaning she can only cover 35m.
If you have an idea where she started to phase and when she started to phase, it's not too difficult to figure out where she has to come from and as long as you optimize distance it's hard for her to catch you from anywhere besides from behind.
Assuming she doesn't have one of her almighty add-ons? And you can read his mind and accurately tell if she has add-ons or not?

She may be faster, but there's a limit to the distance she can travel. Plenty of windows and pallets do not give spirit enough time to run around them before running out of phase.
While she gives no indication she is phasing, I generally have a good idea when Spirit is phasing regardless.
So if you have a good idea where is she gonna pop up in front of you? Behind you? To the left or right? How do you know?

how come? Did I miss something? Can she phase through pallets? Can she phase through windows? Do those not work against her? Or do you just not know how to run them so you have concluded she has no counterplay?
She can phase around them faster then standard 4.6 with no knowledge is she is doing that or not. Since there's no indication she is phasing. Every other strong character you know what they're doing you know when Nurse blinks, Oni rushes, Blight charges, or Huntress winding up. But Spirit you have no clue. Which leads to dull unfair gameplay where a survivor is helpless.

Absolutely not.
Oni is waaaay stronger than Wraith.
Wraiths addons can't compete with the lethality of Onis addons
Agreed an all seeing Wraith with silent bell still isn't beating Lion Fang and Scalped top knot.

18 - take the time to properly create, test and release the characters. If the killer has a fun and useful power, all 6 perks are at least decent and have very minimal bugs that can be fixed in the hotfix.
I think that alone would earn back the trust of most of the playerbase.
Fixing the bugs we currently have (like breakout) would be an amazing + aswell. (Really wish they did a qol chapter after the anniversary)
- 19. Do you think they should focus solely on new content for that chapter but still release things on the current game like finishing the realm beyond?
-
@NotACompPlayer said:
So you went against the best spirit in the game and didn't have fun so now it's the characters fault? Just say you don't want to have a challenge or go against anyone who's good.
Spirit has no counterplay on virtue of survivors having no idea of what she's doing. I'd rather play a god Oni with Infectious instead of an average Spirit with Stridor and headphones.

Oni is better base without add ons probably. But with them. Wriath is right there with him.
The power of Blood Fury is much stronger then base Wraith. And we shouldn't decide how much a character is high based on add-ons other wise Trapper should be out of the F tier.

I have played him extensively after the buffs. He has so many weaknesses that you ignore in favour of spouting this strategic bravado. They are as follows:
- He's still one of the only killers in the game you can lightburn.
- He's still heavily reliant on good map rng. (Try creating a dead zone with only windows)
- He's still heavily reliant on running good perks. (At least one slowdown perk is mandatory)
- He still has little map pressure. (Albeit better map traversal)
- And he can still absolutely be bullied by good survivors. (But this is true of many killers)
It doesn't matter how consistently you ambush people. Downing survivors quickly with a strong power is the only viable tactic against survivors who know what they're doing. In high skill games, your proposed tactic of "Hit & Run" quickly becomes; "Hit & Run to the gen that just popped", because simply injuring people isn't enough.
He certainly does have his strengths. But thinking that he's more viable than he actually is just because he doesn't have to use Windstorm each game is absurd.
Forgot healing perks and med kits can crush his hit and run
-
And according to some new Wraith is stronger then Oni.

17 - Alien. I ######### love the xenomorph.
18. DBD's biggest chapter is upon it 5th anniversary with Resident Evil. This is on the trail of two disastrous chapters in a row. What should the devs add into the fifth anniversary to earn back the trust and enjoyment of the fans?
-
@Kirkylad said:
The buff was good for wraith but I honestly think they went to far with that ridiculous lunge he gets coming out of cloak.
It's good against unsafe loops. But against good loops and especially windows he's helpless.

@VexTheHex said:
Tiny effort and large reward. He's possibly the straight up easiest Killer to play in the game. I like playing him, but by no margin do I ever think I did anything remarkable to deserve my 4K unlike Trickster, Twins, or Huntress where I feel like I worked for it.
I'd start off by removing his Pink Clapper add on and making the Yellow one Pink. I know that's not the biggest concern on him, but removing the bing bong from him is a crime against Wraith kind even when he was weak. Let him ring his bell!
So his add-ons are the issue and not his base?

Hold W, predrop pallets, no other strong killer at all can ever do anything. Huntress has to break most pallets in the game because they're at high walled loope and this gameplay is also the only reason Oni isn't taken seriously as a tournament killer. Plague, Hag, Billy, Bubba, none of them can do anything. Trust me, I've tried them all in my quest to escape the hell that is AU servers, where no-one is good and everyone predrops. Wraith and Billy are the only ones that stand much of a chance, but Wraith is significantly better than Billy because he loses much less distance coming out of his power.
So on the best survivor maps like Badham, The Game, Storehouse, or Gas Heaven. Wraith will be able to do fine?
-
@MadLordJack said:

Have you gone agasint a Wraith with a good build that uses their power in chases? A little regression, a little lethality? Like it or not, you cannot claim a killer is weak because they use m1 gameplay (because m1 gameplay is an even competition) unless you're talking about predropping pallets, in which case its more of a baseline gen speed issue that Huntress and Oni and all the other A-tier killers fall prey to it except for Wraith because he has very good mobility.
How does Huntress suffer against pallets she just throws her hatchets above them. Oni does at first but then they're a breeze. While Wraith's power helps at simple loops. Once good windows show up were a survivor vaults before Wraith can even uncloak there's no chasing. Especially since he'll have to cloak then uncloak if he wants to lunge. And yes a Wraith with Sloppy and Pop on Badham I felt sorry for the poor Wraith.
-
@MadLordJack said:
If you're good, he is. It's hard bordering on impossible to overstate how important mobility is in this game. Playing Blight without knowing how to use Lethal Rush is still one of the strongest killers in the game. And Wraith has a very simple chase power that makes him very dangerous at filler tiles like rock loops. Add onto that some of his add-ons and he's actually way better than Huntress.
Nah I don't think so. Mobility while I agree is huge can't win on it's own a Blight can run around easily but without being able to get hits with lethal Rush It'll be a struggle since mobility on its own isn't everything. Billy and Oni come with an insta down. Blight being able to get hits that others won't catch up to. And Nurse obviously best power in the game. And Wraiths lunge gets him the first hit. But that's it a survivor with a healing build or Medkits will make Wraith's hit and run worthless if they're healed up when you find them again. Although his add-ons definitely boost him up.

13 - Inner strenght. It's like a pocket heal for emergencies, it's great.
14 - Slipery meat. It's effect is so bad, and it wants survivors to try to jump from the hook, which they shouldn't do.
15 - Trail of torment. Stealth on command is really fun.
16 - Insidious. It's terrible and promotes a bad playstyle.
17. What is your dream chapter for the game?

7 - Most of macmillan and autohaven. I know them very well, so it's where I usually can play my best.

1- someone on twitter said something like "Why dbd players always do this" I asked what dbd was, got the name, looked on youtube, watched a few videos from ohmwrecker, decided to get it, realized I already had it on my ps4 because of ps+, and that was it. it was during the release of ghostface.
2- my sister used to call me this when we were young to annoy me. Later I needed a nickname online and decided to use it.
3.Which side do you main?
4.Of that side which character/s do you main?

Change up how skillchecks work overall, add a secondary obj (Blue Glyph's are a pretty good example of it starting up, however I'd prefer if it was something like OoO where its a punishment with a reward on a timer)
- 46 we're gonna wrap this up now but final question. Is the game heading in the correct direction?
-
@Eninya said:
I'd like to see the Barbeque stats, since that perk is incredibly busted on a lot of killers. It's only gotten stronger as a lot of maps have been nerfed, too.

Buff/rework low pickrate killers
For billy however remove his overheat and change his overheat based add-ons

-
@Hoodied said:

nope, only want Haddonfield changed
44. The devs have in the past tried ways to get lower killers played more like nerfs to popular one Hillbilly and buffs to weak ones bubba. Although this led to the former being barely played. What's the best way to get low pickrate killers played more?

Enjoy before she goes back with Twins and Hag to the lonely lounge.

A tome for her just came out so people are finally playing her to get those bloodpoints. Like when there were more Hags despite her being more uncommon when she had her tome.

Did add-ons play a part in the decision making behind this tier list? And mostly agree with the list

Because it's boring & inefficient to hide at loops/behind rocks until corrupt wears off.
The most fun aspect of this game by far are the chases. Why would I want to actively avoid them?
If you're competitive you wait out the Corrupt and do the side objectives.

@Hoodied said:

I feel like it should be balanced out casually for now until BHVR finds a way to fix this games RNG, as right now this is far from a competitive game (RNG on maps can cause chain vaults or dead zones)
42. If so do you believe we should keep RNG or keep every map set in stone?

No I don't care about that as in reality, anyone can be a psychopath and trickster fits that bill
41. There has been discussion on what's the best way to balance the game. The loudest believe the game should be balanced around the best of the best. Despite the majority of players being casual. To which group should the game balance around?

That sums up every killer though? All killers are at their weakest when the match first begins.
But some are to mitigate it pretty well like Hillbilly being able to zoom around quickly at the start.

to a moderate amount, it’d be ridiculous if survivors could set hex totems mainly due to the fact that the killer would need to find it, compared to 4 survivors
40. Recently people comaplained Trickster doesn't fit in DBD despite some less spooky killers. Do you believe there's certain type of killers that only fit in DBD?

Would be neat to see some stats.
