Wraith isn't really a stealth Killer. You can see him coming and he has a warning notification. His power is actually just mobility its not really stealth unless you're standing still and camping for the full invisibility or using the iridescent add-on. Otherwise the Survivors will always have a head start on you... which doesn't really scream stealth to me.
Yeah, no. What you describe is a noob Wraith, a good one will 100% be unseen until the last second before he hits you.

Yesterday a kind Legion had mercy on me while I was trying to open a door as the last survivor because I played well (his words) and ended up with 32k.

McLean said blight FOV is intended but a lot of people have been asking for it so it's taken into consideration. He hasn't confirmed anything.
Can we have a source for that?
-
Yes I noticed that even if my ping is in the green range I often experience a very slight but annoying rubber banding, mostly on killer. It's like I keep teleporting a few cm back.
-
That's something I wondered myself. By consistency Nurse's blink attacks should not be considered normal attacks, especially since they have a separate cooldown and some perks like STBL already don't work with them.

That's not really camping, though. If you *know* someone is in the area, you are looking for them. That's all it is. You're looking for them. It's their fault for playing around the hook.
Camping is staying in the area around the hook making the unhook much more riskier, doesn't matter the reason. Also how is it a fault wanting to unhook a survivor? That's literally the core of the game.
-
You explained the matter really well so I don't feel the need to add more, but I completely agree.
-
I agree, it seems a bit off. It feels lower than the Hag's somehow which technically is shorter than him.
-
People already hate Claudette enough, no need to extend that hate to other characters.
-
I think that people don't like survivors who overcommit to stealth. As a heavily stealth player myself, I can tell a good part of one's stealth skill is knowing when committing to it. Being stealthy 100% of the time gets people killed.
-
I tried it with STBL and can confirm it is a special attack and those perks don't apply.
-
Tbh I always thought it was weird that it highlighted generators even when they stopped regressing at 0%, and in certain condition it made repairing gens extremely hard.
-
If you rev your chainsaw for too long Bubba goes on a tantrum. This addon makes it do you can rev for longer.
In practice it's not very useful, since it's very unlikely you'll rev for so long in a normal match.
-
It will totally screw up your team or save it. There's little in-between with this perk.
-
That's just the Entity thriving on your suffering. The more you don't want that perk, the more it will try to shove it in your bloodweb.
-
Nope. It doesn't feel very genuine compared to all the other voices in-game.

He still can be kicked out by flashlight from any position. And it actually gives him a long stun, unlike Ghostface.
It's extremely easy to counter it, you just need to zig zag around the survivor. It's almost guaranteed to make their flashlight run out of charges.
-
Wraith. Just the fact he can't be kicked out of his power by a janky mechanic makes him way better than Ghostface.
-
The black and white vision was indeed very cool.
-
Wraith. His play style compliments mine very well, so it's the one I play with less effort.
-
I love the Plague's music, it's eerie and menacing and doesn't make me tired of listening to it.
-
I don't remember where I saw it, but the Hag is cursed with an insatiable hunger, she sacrifices survivors in the hope the Entity allows her to eat (through Memento Moris).
Freddy and Pig are definetly enjoying themselves, so I'd say they are willing.
About the Deathslinger I remember I theory for which the Entity manipulates him to make him see survivors as the people who have wronged him in life (since his killing motivation is revenge).

That's the point. Make noed constant and thus creating a choice for survivors - do secondary, spending some time and denying killer's burst of power in endgame or focus on gens and give killer a burst of power .
The problem is that if the killer is good both choices are wrong. You either give them more time to kill people or let them wipe the floor with your team in the late game.
-
I agree with people saying Shred his the best part of Demo's kit. You can win games by using just it and ignoring portals.
-
NOED works because survivors don't want to risk wasting time to prevent something that might not happen anyway but if they made a basekit NOED, you can be sure that 99% of the time you won't be able to use it.
-
il killer farà si e no 1-2 ganci la partita è ormai vinta
Quando vedi che è così prenditi del tempo per distruggere i totem. Se il killer è scarso (e di solito chi usa NOED lo è) non è che succede niente.
@Francesco044 said:
-
People like to underestimate their opponents. I run often Sprint Burst, and if I see the killer approaching me I use it asap. It buys so much distance that not rarely they lose interest.
-
What? It has it purpose! You can see a little number on the character's portrait!

I mean, it’s called the “dumb tech” for a reason.
Lol I didn't know it was a thing, for some reason I'm seeing it used just recently. Yeah the name is very fitting.
-
The very few times I faced it I wasn't even mad to get killed on the spot. Just a bit sad that someone fed Myers so much.
-
Cleansing 5 totems takes 70 seconds without accounting for travel time, so it's the equivalent of a full generator. For a killer who is not very good and can't pressure gens (=the average NOED user), by spending all that time not doing gens you're doing them a big favour. In fact, from my experience that is enough to put in difficulty the whole team.
So no, Detective's Hunch and doing all totems is not a good way to deal with the perk. It's way better to cleanse 1-2 totems if you stumble upon them, and before/when the last gen pops be ready to look for the lit totem. This way most of the times NOED gives a killer just one easy down before being cleansed.

But if they aren't useful for the entity then why doesn't it let them go?
If they aren't useful for the Entity they are probably incapable of living anyway.
-
Survivor: Kate's Tokyo Headliner. That haircut and all that bright pink... ew.
Killer: Frontier Miner Billy. It always makes me laugh, I can't take it seriously at all.
-
This only proves that survivors don't want to depip because you decided to stay afk all match.
-
Nope. The ones who received a cooldown were killers who had unlimited uses of their powers and were able to spam them. Huntress can't since she has a limited number of hatchets and she has to reload at lockers.
-
I would obliterate Rotten Fields. That map has no redeeming quality.
-
The old Small Game showed auras... which was kinda broken since it highlighted beartraps making them completely ineffective. That's why they changed to how it is now.
-
I tend to go for ones fitting with a character's story or personality except for my main survivor (Jake) for which I cycle through themes based on my mood or the skin I'm using.
-
I doubt hills count, with "great height" they mean about Haddonfield's rooftops height.
-
I play her with Predator because sounds are too inconsistent, it helps a lot to understand where they are going or if they are trying some cheeky mindgame.
-
I really like your idea for Up The Ante and Lucky Break. The change to Poised I doubt would make any difference though.
-
If I can get a 40+ winstreak without add-ons as him by playing normally vs rank 1s, you can too.
Well it's obvious you only play against bad survivors, duh.
-
The snapping sound of a successful beartrap is the best.
-
looping is NOT meant to be a thing, as already said by the devs
I'm sorry but, when did they say that? Looping has been a thing since the beginning and has always been a central part of the game balance.

"If you have the feeling someone is using Spine Chill, look sideways while approaching a generator or in general a place where you think survivors are. With their Spine Chill off you're guaranteed to make them [BAD WORD] their pants."
Moonwalk = Wall wall wall, or if the map are open they can see you...
I didn't say moonwalk

Personally I would like a way to share perks with multiple characters (especially survivors since they are skins).
For example if I have all the perks on Jake and I want them on Dwight too, instead of spending millions of BPs to level up Dwight I could share with him Jake's perks, so now both can have all the perks.
Maybe it could be something that can be earned when reaching P3-50, or something similar.

Basically 90% of the threads on this forum. I read the forums mostly for the 10% of constructive, interesting threads that sometimes appear, for dev responses (which unfortunately are very few) or to help people asking for advice. For most of the threads I just sigh at the title and move on.

You can definetly play him without those addons, you just have to shock the terrain in front of the survivor to anticipate their movements.
Very long loops are the ones where he struggles a bit (especially without range addons), by they are few so it's not really a problem, he still is a 115% ms killer.
A trick to use better his shock is to not expect survivors to not being able to vault a window or pallet, because often they will (probably because of lag). Once they are shocked though you know they can't vault back, so once you let go the shock go on the other side of the loop to get the hit.
-
I consider myself a Wraith main. There are a couple tricks you can use to be more deadly with him:
- His uncloaking lasts 3 seconds, but for the first 1.5 s he doesn't ring his bell. By starting the uncloaking behind a wall you halve the survivors' time to react. Just keep LoS on the survivor on the second half (to avoid losing them) and you'll get easy first hits. By using this trick the clappers addons will be redundant.
- Don't forget about your power after the first hit. Cloaking during chases allows you to catch up more quickly, take survivors by an unexpected angle, or drop the chase without them even realizing. Don't just play like an M1 killer, be unpredictable.
- Use Windstorm. Even the yellow one makes a ton of difference, you will have a lot more map pressure and you can catch up to survivors much faster. Another addon which I found surprisingly good is Shadowdance: by pretending to uncloak in front of a pallet you'll induce survivors to drop it, so you can destroy it very quickly. It's useful even with windows, especially if you have Bamboozle.
- If you have the feeling someone is using Spine Chill, look sideways while approaching a generator or in general a place where you think survivors are. With their Spine Chill off you're guaranteed to make them ######### their pants.
