My favorite is Meg, she's realistic and adorable at the same time, poor megan.
Hitting dwights is also fun, this "Ahhh-Hwuuu" never gets old.
Old kate was out of place, but the current one is okay, she sounds like... a songbird. -
Basically remove his skill aspect and turn him completely into M1lly, because you can neither hit or dodge chainsaws. No thanks.
Just revert his controls to release state, he was perfect back then, except the flick could use the controls of the current whip. Tighten up the hitbox, so its really hard to hit survivors.
He'd have the old stiff whip and the old stiff turning and at the end, he can do the flick which controls like the current whip. That would combine all the hard aspects of billy and please every billy player (old billys rejoice and new billys can still benefit from their current billy skills).
There's so many cool options for billy rework. -
Its the best tracking perk, since it gives you aurareading much more frequently than other perks. And you get the info at the right time, right when you finished one survivor.
I'm playing half the cast with/without BBQ and the difference is very noticable. Playing without BBQ doesnt feel very different, until i play a killer with BBQ. Then i'm surprised every time how much value it gives and how often it wins the game for me. -

If that went live, he would drop down to mid-low tier to be THE MOST loopable killer in the game by far. That wouldnt be fun, since he would just be deleted from the viable killers.
The devs could rather focus on making him even more unique. Keep the strong chainsaw, but give him appropriate drawbacks. I always thought about him beeing the loudest and most aggressive of the killers. A savage.
Give him global, directional sounds. Everyone should hear exactly where billy is, when he is using his chainsaw. That would balance his map control (mobility) with survivors map control (knowing where he is) and also close the gap between swf and solo survivor. As SWF can communicate where killer are, which makes them op, but against bily, you know it anyways.
On top of that, double his cooldown and nerf his addons.
Just my 2c, i hope they wont just nerfhammer him mindlessly (like flickremoval).
Bro you should not be getting looped 6 times around anything with a 110% killer
Bro not everyone is as good as you bro.
Look Scott I love your streams. Best Huntress by miles. And it's cool to see you getting Spirit up to your Huntress skill.
But you have to realize that most of us aren't you, Marth, Tru3, or Monto.
You are far better than 99% of the killer player base. Judging everyone by your skill isn't fair. I know you'll try to be modest about your skill but inside you know how good you are.Dude I'm not even remotely humblebragging. You just go around corners tightly. That's it. You can't be looped 6 times around anything. It doesn't take skill at all.
Scott. If i say 5-6 in that context, it could also be 4-5. I dont think that matters, we know how badly you can loop slow killers. And a billy cant break loops, so he gets looped for twice as long, which would be game losing, as billy is just efficient enough against good survivors, but he wouldnt be if he gets looped even harder. Thats my point about billy and 110%, not wether its 4-6 exact loops. Its a lot of loops, aight? Not very fitting for billy. Alright, gn8
-
I like Spirit more. She has potential for toptier, its still a bit early, but i guess she will end up lower toptier, while clown is dropping. Survivors are adapting to him and he has no map pressure at all. He has no slug game due to reloading and currently his gas doesnt force slow vaults. But he's still really hard to play.
Gues they're both fine, find one that suits your playstyle. Sneaky beaky or throwing fart bottles. -

Immediately very weak and countered by simply playing it carefully around anything that looks like a Survivor. Then SWF just shits all over the power in general.
You are underestimating the paranoia survivors should suffer: trust would be replaced by suspicion and cooperation destroyed, that is an easy victory for the killer."Johnny is that you?"

SWF mode always helps survivors, what's the news?
Tom (with Premonition): Johnny, the Wraith is 20 meters in front of you.
Johnny (with other perks): Thanks. I'll change my way.
Does it mean the Wraith's cloaking is useless?
If thats its only power, he's just a basic killer against voice com. "Killer is walking there"
A shapeshifter has been suggested so many times. I dont think they like the idea though, but things may change over time. -

Depends on the size of the loop. A really short loop can be looped a lot. I dont count the amount of loops, but its a lot more than a normal killer for small loops.

Ask PC player how "fun" it is to play against a decent Nurse.

thats a whole nother topic i want no part in partly because nurse is hard to play and billy isnt he just isnt
Really? Isn't he? I have trouble controlling the jerk of the saw. I know it is a me problem, because other people seem to not even feel it, but I find it hard to play him properly and I am always frustrated to be unable to play him to his full potential, because I miss to many saw hits.
your not not supposed to kill wityh your chainsaw only run your cattle hammers lunge is more than enough to take out everyone ignore the saw as a weapon and only as a sprint an billy becomes too EZ PZ GG
You're losing to M1llys, just saying. They beat you with billys skillfloor, which is quite low granted (Brief mobility). You REALLY shouldnt lose to M1llys, on pc we beat those guys easily.
His skill comes from downing survivors and if you cant do that reliably, you're not a good billy. I try to master every killer and billys flick is imo the hardest mechanical aspect in this game. You can train aim for huntress, throw andes for clown, get the timing for blinks. But that crazy sensitivity curve is unique to billy, you have to get a feel for it and if you dont play him for a few days, you'll get rusty and need to relearn it.Calling him easy is admitting you never play him.
i play ps4 and he si a bit easy to play high mobility and for attacking a long lunge with a dull
A M1lly is just an A-B tier killer. He's not S-tier unless you chop down survivors consistently.
Could be the lack of viable killers on console, but take it as an appetizer if you decide to switch to pc against real, viable killers.
But, tbh, i do think he is a little overtuned in general. Just a little bit, he comes from another time.

Most underrated survivor perk: Lightweight
Your scratchmarks are only visible for 5-6s. I like to run everywhere for efficiency and this perk is the runnning equivalent to Urban Immersion, you're not gonna be spotted because of scratchmarks. Most underrated killer perk: Save the best for last
Solves one of the main problems of M1 killers: The huge distance they get for a hit. With a full Stbfl, every M1 killer feels powerful, how it should be. Its a bit hard to play around the obsession though, when they start to act cocky. Most overrated survivor perk: Dead Hard
Still A-tier perk for looping mistakes and works here and there, but its counterable. Most overrated killer perk: Whispers
Used to be THE tracking perk, but so many aura reading perks have been added which tell you exactly where someone is. Now its still good for hatch and scratching off a few seconds while patrolling, but i prefer alternatives. -
Nurses calling, Pop goes the weasel, Thanatophobia and Sloppy butcher. Thats my current build, sometimes i swap Thana for Rancor to kill more people. Enduring would be good as well. You can run anything on her

I played against some sloppy butcher killers in the ptb and i can tell you, that selfcaring is NOT worth it anymore. Its really a dilemma as survivor, beceause you will lose if you heal yourself for 40s (thats literally half a gen), but doing gens injured is super risky and throwable.Sounds like the Devs found a good balancing tool at last.
Only took them 2 years to figure out how to slow the game down. Not sure wether thats the right approach though. I believe this will further divide 0k and 4k games. As snowballing is unstoppable now with 40s selfcare times, but genrush is still the same. Slowing down both sides main objective (gens vs kills) would be better imo. BUT im glad something has been done
At least hitting someone means something even if you lose them.
Survivor tanked hits for each other way to easy.Agree, now it has dire consequences

Ok so for those who think these add-ons are balanced try them out and see how often you can actually hit survivor with the painfully slow windup or the fact that you get a massive heads up to dodge the killer charging her hatchet. You have 3 shots at most that is very limiting no wind up makes hitting survivors crossing pallets very hard. Maps have cover use it. The huntress has 110% ms that's 5% less then your average killer. Even monto and true struggle landing hatchets at close range.
Its just a normal hatchet. As long as you dont need 4+ hatchets to hit ONCE, its easier to use iri heads, since you dont have to hit twice.
Wind up, wind up, wind up. You dont realise what losing two add ons to just get a instadown means. Its devastating how nany pallets hits or loops are required for you to get that one hit. If you play incompetently enough that you cant abuse the huntresses hatchet limitations or low hatchets ammo you deserve to get wrecked. I honestly would waste a shadow ward on the heads i save then for my babushkas and infantry belts. Iridescent heads are a meme for weaker terrible survivours.
Does it mean, you cant hit hatchets without insta addons? Is it such a big difference for you?
I play her addonless and can hit hatchets just fine. I fully expect survivors to continue looping at high ranks. Thats why i bring enduring and just run them down.
iirc its just -12% and -8% now, so i really dont think it would even benefit me much, since i hold hatchets in the open. Previously you could cheese hits as they came unexpected with -50% or so. Never played insta addons on huntress though. But i played one match with Iri heads and that was a waste of time. Why are you taking these loops every second your taking a loop is time spent on a gen you don't have the luxury of waiting for the pallet to drop you need to be proactive as a killer. Their are a lot of maps that have jungle gyms and closed off areas that fast windup is essential. That 12% 8% is the difference between a hit and a miss. I agrees instas had to go but base huntress hatchets are terrible because so many maps punish you harshly for not having a proactive power that can help in enclosed walled spaces. Ya you will have survivors who don't respect your hatchets and will take hits because they treat you as if your trapper, freddy or wraith but players who play around huntress will force you to adopt wind up speed so the gaps to get a hit widen. This game demands you spend your time wisely and running down survivors with enduring completely misses the point of what the huntress is suppose to be. She should be getting you at vaults and pallets without having to spend a slot getting wind up. Iridescent head come with the punishment of drawing wind up away from you and makes reloading more common and that means your easier to loop and have significantly less opportunity to get a hit through windows or pallets.
Like i said, you dont NEED windup addons. They are a crutch.
Run them down and punish them with hatchets. You dont need a slot to get them at vaults and windows. Its a mindgame, which is fair.
If you used insta addons you turned them into guaranteed hits, which skipped one skillful part of playing huntress. But you can still play her normally and just take the risk of playing pallets and she is still toptier. That's fine if your ms isn't cut down by 5% its not a mind game at that stage especially with the design of many pallets and vault locations. You are recommending enduring on the huntress which is fundamentally wrong. The huntress is supposed to be hitting targets going over vaults and pallets its her nature as a killer. To cut chases shorter by hitting them with a ranged weapon. Forcing the survivor to play the mindgame of whether the huntress will lunge through the pallet or pull out a hatchet. Currently you can't do this with base hatchets as the speed is too low on wind up at base.
Many of the best players know the huntress is not top tier and its down to the fact that many maps are not built for range killer she is the most overrated killer in the game. Look at the trucks and cars with invisible hitboxes the jungle gym areas or shacks that gives you no opportunity to hit your target unless as I said they don't play around your hatchets. Their is skill involved with nailing a survivor at a distance or out in the open but not all maps are designed that way. For every large open map their is a congested close range map like hadonfield. She will never be the killer you people always make her out to be because mobility wise she is limited. So her ability to pressure the map from a distance is limited to what maps you get. Why is billy and nurse at the top because mobility and map pressure ultimately always trumps a slow moving killer.
I would open up your mind a bit. If continueing looping is the only counter to huntress and the only way to win chases against her, bringing enduring and disrespecting pallets counters her only counter. So why wouldnt i cover my weaknesses and play around that?
She isn't supposed to do anything. If pulling up hatchets every time at pallets doesnt work, because survivor keep on looping, then you have to adapt to that. If you still pull up every hatchet at pallets, you fail to adapt. The best huntress's are the only ones who insist on her beeing toptier. Many players think shes midtier, which is their opinion. Its all down to the player, their aim and predictions.
Her map pressure is garbage, probably the worst in the game. But sniping people, countering pallets and windows and beeing able to deal damage at range. Toptier (not that im the best huntress lol, but i still consider her toptier) -

@yeet I literally don't understand you. You spend this entire thread complaining about how hard it is to be killer, but then you turn around and say you "win" (3K or 4K) 95% of the time. You said I'm "not very good at the game" because I only survive 50% of the time at Rank 1, but then you claim that only 5% of high ranks surviving is normal for you. But somehow that's still too much? At this point you've literally got to be trolling.
Btw, I never claimed to be good at the game. I am extraordinarily mediocre. Like apparently 95% of the survivors you face. So don't expect me to get up in arms about you trying to insult me.
I am a 4.5k hour nurse main, not to toot my own horn but I am reasonably good, of course you're average joe survivor isn't going to be able to beat me, especially not with how east rank 1 is these days
But didn't you say the game is unbalanced in favor of survivors?
it is, when survivors are playing to escape as quickly as possible, it becomes almost impossible for the killer to win, marth88 proved this but people just brush it off because it proves them wrong.
Because it barely happens in reality. Some 4-swf groups are the only one who play like that. Most r1 games are just a 4k nowadays. The survivor nerf train has to stop tbh. Tackle genrush and camping, the mechanics are balanced now.
"survivor nerf train"
a bug fix and a few minor nerfs is a "train" now? Survivor is still as easy as it ever was.Dont be delusional. You know how easy it is nowadays as killer. Especially if you dont care about playing fair, you can tunnelcamp every game and win 95% of them. They nerfed almost everything on survivors and it stacks up.
DbD used to be having mercy as survivor: not using infinites, not using DS, not using flashlights and instaheals etc
Todays DbD is about having mercy as killer: If you tunnelcamp you win 95% e.a.s.i.l.y.quite the opposite lmao, survivor is turn your brain off time
you can win 100% of your matches totally perkless
so pallets got nerfed a tiny bit and you can't sprint burst 10 times in a chase? Barely anything else has changed, looping is still brainlessly easy and the killer is still on a 3 minute clock.
but the fact you believe camping is an effective strategy really says it all tbh, a killer who camps is not a killer that wins many games. No you cant, since you play with 3 random teammates and the killer can win, if he wants to, provided he has decent skills.
Looping got nerfed really hard. The amount of pallets have been halved and vacuum was huge in restrospect. Nowadays they get 0-1 loop per pallet. Barely any effect compared to just running the killer around the map without looping.Proxycamping (not hardcamping, but baiting) is by far the best strategy in this game. Playing nice guy bbq is very hard and challenging aghainst good survivors. Just proxycamping them though, easy win.

Kill it already!

Nah... i think premonition still tops alert. Not to mention empathy.
You dont have to break gens until later on in the game, for the last 1-2 gens and at that point, survivors know where you are patroling.
Reading killer auras isnt nearly as useful as reading survivor auras anyways -

To stop killers for finding one survivor and just chase ONLY THAT SURVIVOR for the entire match. Some killers are total boneheads and need to practice some self control and put their ego in check. I've literally never got to BL3 ever, I am not so dumb as to chase somebody around an infinite until the cows come home. But more specifically in the patch notes you'll find that many infinite loops have been blocked off now so there are less reasons to have BL3.Not even infinites took you to BL3. The only way was actively trolling survivors or beeing leatherface

If "weird" is classified to you as simply being non-meta, then i practically only run weird builds.Love Hex: Devour Hope, for example.
Won't always pull it off, which only makes the successes more satisfying. (And thank GOD they didn't give it the same treatment as Memento Mori Offerings, where you have to hook them before you can kill them.)Save The Best For Last became a new favorite of mine, though that one's not on all Killers, naturally.
Like Nurse won't ever wield it for me, since fatigue isn't affected at all, or Hillbilly since i almost exclusively go for Chainsaw hits, and then equipping the Perk for those few times i use the hammer isn't worth it.Enduring is standard on everyone. Yes, even Nurse.
I despise Decisive Strike and want to get rid of it from the match ASAP.
I don't care how strong or weak it is, it's just my least favorite Perk to go up against.
Plus it helps to burn through pallet loops quickly.Barbecue & Chili is also standard on everyone.
Bloodpoints + being able to quickly go to your next victim? Uhmm, yes please.Make Your Choice on Hag.
Ever seen threads where people complain that no one ever crouches through Hag traps?
Well i agree, or at least partially.
When someone goes to unhook and doesn't hear a heartbeat, they mostly disregard the possibility of there being a trap, doesn't matter if they know i'm a Hag or not.
And even if they do crouch through it, the unhooked Survivor is another big chance for the trap to go off.
There's just too many chances to pass this Perk, in my opinion.
The only time that this Perk TRULY doesn't do much for you is if they trigger the trap but don't unhook until the triggered trap disappears.
But you can still just teleport, hit them and keep the hooked Survivor on there.
You won't get a 1-hit, but they still have a fellow Survivor on the hook doing nothing.
I haven't seen a change in their behaviour through ranks btw, high ranks are almost just as uncaring about Hag traps as low ranks. Maybe it's different for you, but i currently profit too much from their recklessness.Just an in-between note: I'm not including any Perks from the new Killer.
They're too new for me to say: Yes!
And they also might change when they get implemented into the main game.Brutal Strength on some.
Yes, doesn't do as much anymore.
But i just wanna burn through pallets ASAP.Territorial Imperative on Hillbilly.
Oh yeah, this is actually really powerful...once you get a hook in the Basement, that is.
But here's the thing: I often do get a hook in the Basement, so...y'know...why tf not?
Anyhoo, this is great as you'll just rush over there once your TI triggers and then either block the stairs for Chainsaw takedown(s) or go further down and secure at least 1 down. (Depends on what they do.)
Survivors can't STAND the idea of another one dying so easily and quickly, so you don't have to worry one bit about them going for the save or not: They will.
I also use this on Cannibal, since he can down multiple in one attack (which is perfect for the blocking strategy), but it's more risky since he's slow.
Bigger maps are his weakness, but you should mostly be fine.Got Pop Goes The Weasel on a few Killers.
This is my only choice of "slow down the game" Perks, any others are too weak to me.
Hex: Ruin is more often the obvious choice, but it's gone too quick due to poor placement and repairing through it isn't a huge slowdown at all.
You can just repair Generators normally and when you walk around looking for the next one, chances are you'll find the Hex Totem, ESPECIALLY on the older maps.
PGTW however says "[BAD WORD] YOU!" to 20 seconds of repair time and then repeatedly whispers "[BAD WORD] you" as it regresses it even more.
Yeah, you can only activate it after a hook, but honestly it's still enough to put time pressure on them.
Even though i rank this Perk the best "slow them down" Perk, it's still nothing amazing: Just tap the Gen to stop regressing, and then catch up to the 20 seconds. It makes it a weaker Perk among the stronger Perks. On a final note: Here's a build almost no one ever uses...
Hillbilly.
Distressing.
Speed Limiter + Thompson's Moonshine. Then just zoom across the map infinitely.
I find it fun to see how long i can go without bumping into anything.I like your thought process. BBQ and Enduring are bae

-
They only need to remove traps under hook like they did with trapper. Very unfun and outdated and she's strong enough in other areasr. The Hag cube was supposed to do that, but it has gotten very quiet over a year about it.
-
Depends how you well you can hear injured survivors and maybe even footsteps.
I ended up with a pretty meta build after all. BBQ, Enduring, Nurses Calling and Predator/Stridor.
Aura reading seems to be pretty strong, even though you cant see it in the spirit world. -
Camping hags and skillcheck doctors.
Love to go against billys. When i hear the chainsaw right when the game starts, i know its gonna be a good one. -

Thank you kindly. May I know the reason, why we are "shitheads"?
You act like shitheads. The devs have their opinions and put in way more effort and thought into their killer than you. And you come up 2 hours after testing, some not even playing her, and talk ######### about everything, most of which is not even true. Then you open up "exposed" threads like you know better. Terrible

Nurse
Billy, Huntress, Hag, Spirit
Clown, Myers, Doctor, Pig, Trapper, Leatherface
Wraith, FreddyI think Spirit is underrated. She can get hits at every pallet by standing still and faking your ability and has good mobility and sneak potential. Beeing able to get hits at pallets makes her toptier to me. Wraith with built-in windstorm could be better than Freddy, but he still feels very weak to me. No addons except for trapper bag and doctors shockrange.

@weederick I like the ideas but stealth is being removed from the game .It seems every new idea they have includes aura reading(the new endgame idea, the freddy idea, Rancor, the previous BBQ, and bitter murmur). Other than the laying down which made me laugh( i want to lay down and get a Leatherface to trip over me with the chainsaw and cry)
True true, also the built-in kindred. I liked the good ol' hide & seek more, it was more of a horror atmosphere pre bbq. Tripping killers would be fun, throwing pebbles was just the beginning haha
Unless i can throw a rock and stun camping Leatherface's i'm not interested in that perk.
Really? I've been playing survivor ptb just to throw rocks at killers faces
Its so RUDE -
Good, but too much on the risky end. Great ability, great design, great changes. But as a M2 killer, who needs her ability, she has to be able to use it more often.

More stealth perks would be nice. Reducing the blooddrop frequency. Muffling survivor footsteps. Widening scratchmarks. An active perk to lay down (hello claudette). Protection against aura reading. Just throwing in ideas

every killer that has came out in the ptb has been called op i have yet to see a "please nerf spirit she to gud" post i guess she could be good at rank 20 - 17 but any further down it just doesnt seem possible to me. I havent played her yet in the PTB i just checked wraiths buffs with my friend in the ptb. just really dont like her ability its more of a hinderance than something to help id probably only pick her up for the haunting grounds hex.
"I haven't played her yet in the PTB" that literally makes your view on her skewed as an assumption than what u actually find out through experience. Give her a try and play a few games. Figure out your opinion once you have experience.
Id rather wait until i get to a the "noobie" ranks before trying her because i dont need try something to know wether or not it will be not so good especially when the only people playing ptb are swf groups.
Or you go wreck faces, as she is a contender for toptier

I haven't been able to play her so maybe it's easier than I'm thinking but how would you know what side of the gen they're on is my real question? You should play her first. A lot of the complaints are actually cases of git gud. She has potential to be toptier, but it will take 1-2 weeks until both sides figure her out.
I'm very happy about her design and power, we finally got a M2 killer. She may need some QoL-buffs before her release, like the clown. But the complaints on release day are almost never the right feedback. The cooldown is quite heavy for a M2 killer.... take that and 110%....
Agree on that. She feels a bit restricted in her M2 usage. Maybe remove the need to be at full charge

It is visible without addons. If i'm not mistaken its even brighter and clearer to see in the spirit world. Never had problems tracking blood. Predator and/or Sloppy Butcher work greatly. I dont think Bloodhound will be needed, its very visible imo.But right now it is a bug, and will probably be fixed.
That would be terrible. She needs the blood tracking.
They could reduce the blood to normal visibility in the spirit world and give her ultra rare addon the current visibility.I just think, that in it's current state, without addons, is quite okay, nerfing it more would kill her completly. That addon should do something like injured survivors aura is revealed to killer while in 6m radius, or something.
Depends on wether the devs want to rework an addon just for that. I think normal blood would be enough to track, you may need sloppy butcher or bloodhound, but atleast keep the blood visible in the spirit world.
I dont think she's weak btw, she only needs less restrictions on her ability to make her on par with huntress and hag. Beeing able to use her M2 at any charge could be all she need. Maybe increase the activation cost slightly for it.
