I've stunned a killer 8 times before in a single chase. Not a huge accomplishment, but still gets pretty funny the longer it goes. If get downed at the end anyways, hey, who cares? I got my amusement out of it so I consider it a win
-
I'm all for different forms of inputs for wiggling, as it's especially rough on controllers, but otherwise no, the length it pretty good. You get that feeling of desperation for escape and, for long carries, that bit of hope. And actually getting that rare wiggle escape is always a "Holy crap, I'm free" moment that's enjoyable
-
I personally like to use toolboxes for saving survivors. This is mainly because I don't bring toolboxes in, so when do I find them I like to use them to sabo hooks. I only sabo though if I know that's where the killer is going. I've gotten quite a few saves that way

Loud Noise Notifications can be heard when a survivor performs a rushed actions within 48m of the killer. 90m are too far away. This is not a bug.
Wait really? How have I played this game for years and didn't know there was a distance limit to notifications??
-
The files used to still be in the game but seeing as they've been completely removed over the years I doubt it
-
Apparently the Playstation Network as a whole is having issues
-
Here's a challenge. Host a Minecraft server. Post about it, get people to join, but don't charge anything to play on it. See how long you can keep that Minecraft server up with no additional income to maintain it.
Now multiple that by millions. There's your reason online play has a subscription. (It's really not even that much... $20 for a year which is $1.60 a month. Or $35 for a family plan that allows 8 players on it. Which is $0.36 a month per person...)
And for PS+ and Xbox Gold, don't forget about the thousands of dollars of free games they give out each year to everyone.
-
Yea, they serve the Entity because as far as the Entity is concerned, Killers and Survivors are the same to it. They're just a means to an end, and that end is food. The hate and bloodlust of the killers, and the hope and fear from the survivors. The crows are there to push that agenda along
-
We need moreeee
-
I mean, if they're actually hard tunneling then they won't down you. They'll ignore you and go for the other person anyways
-
It's a cone based on where your camera is facing. I like to swing my camera back and forth when I'm walking around to get it to trigger
-
Apparently that scream is an "Aura-Flare-up" which is not suppressed
-
It does exactly what they say. It changes the brightness levels in the game from "extra moonlight" (very bright), to "no moonlight" (almost pitch black). They aren't used anymore however because the lighting engine has been changed since then
-
This is intended. If the Doctor is using Aura reading add-ons then yes, your aura will still show. All Calm Spirit does is prevent the noise from screaming, and also prevents you from scaring crows. It also prevents the scream from being hit with an attack.
If you don't level up in madness then you'll still be hidden however

I've never had that happen. I've frequently been in lobbies (as in, when 4 survivors and a Killer are in the 1-minute match lobby) where one or more people have dropped, and the spaces have always been quickly filled: as in, less than two minutes, easily. I'm not talking about booting everyone back out into the main queue for a lobby (which can take 10 minutes or more). I'm talking about booting the actual afk person back into the queue, and having the game pull in someone else to the match lobby.
I would much rather wait that extra two minutes and have five active players in a match than be at a disadvantage once you get into the match and realize one or more people are afk.
The fact that players spend more time waiting to play this game than actually playing this game is a separate problem.
Right, gotcha. I miss-read what you had wrote originally. I was picturing it as if the lobby wouldn't start until everyone readied up. I missed the part of kicking players at the 15 second mark. :P

I'm on controller and it progresses pretty smoothly, but I still get the thing where, from my POV, it looks like I should have wiggled free just as we get to the hook, and then it doesn't happen. I always figured it was lag and, on the killer's screen, they got to the hook a little earlier.
That's that hook vacuum for you. The killer doesn't have to be exactly in front of the hook for the prompt to come up. It comes up like a meter away from the hook, so that last little bit can be stolen from you

Right now, Im a killer in the DAMNED CORN AGAIN
Ive opened the gates, and only Reese left. I havent engaed these people and its pretty clear I wont since all Ive done is faced a damned gate wall since this trial started -
- and this Twitch streamer just died. HOW?! I never even engaged her. Post-game chat called her "haha too slow!"
Whatever. Please kill this map.
Corn strikes again

The killer hitbox only shrinks while standing on the stairs to the basement. Where the person in the video was standing the hitbox downsize isn't being triggered. They aren't technically in the basement yet
-
As long as queues can be as it is I really don't feel like waiting another 10 minutes because someone wants to hold the lobby hostage now

You're right in that chases are fairly difficult with him. He's very much a hit and run kinda killer. Whenever you're approaching someone, even though you're invisible make sure you use line of sight blockers. Approach them behind trees, rocks, etc, so when you unclock they don't know exactly where you are while uncloaking and have a good chance of running into you.
Use his post-cloak speed boost to your advantage. You can get some pretty huge lunges from him that way. Whenever you do get into a chase don't be afraid to cloak. You move significantly faster while cloaked and can throw survivors off if you cut them off or go a different direction. Wraith's strength is definitely getting a quick hit in and zipping off.
And just in case you don't know this, he can break pallets and gens, and search closets while cloaked. No need to uncloak for that. You can't pick people up however.
-
If you don't think they're useful you need to play this game with headphones. There's a significant difference as you'll very quickly learn there's more sounds than breathing (footsteps, grass moving, creaking from vaulting, etc)

That's weird. The only other thing I can think of is that you're closing the application before saving the video clip, which does screw it up.
Same. That's the only thing I can think of as well. The screen recording won't record your crossbar menu, so backing out of the game at all will reset the recording. I personally have my recording length sent to 30 minutes and I've never had an issue with getting them. I press the share button once, the side menu pops up, and I go down and hit "Save Video". Once you save a clip though it starts a new one, so if you hit the share button again it'll bump it up against the last video you saved. Otherwise it should be "recording" all of the time.
Is your hard drive full by chance?

for example, in case you remember you ran "for the people" or you know you like running perks that inflict broken. EDIT: or the killer had something that can inflict broken, like the Legion Pin or Pyramid heads Forced Penance perk
the broken status effect ignores the adrenalin heal, if it wasn't a bug this is the only explanation
Broken only prevents being healed to healthy. You can still be healed from dying to injured while broken (No Mither. Other people can still heal you, not just yourself) so Adrenaline should've still worked.

Pretty sure this has been brought up before and it was confirmed to be intentional

Were the gates already powered when the hatched opened?

When the main event is there it does not activate on ps4
Just so you know it doesn't activate automatically. You have to manually activate it with L1 and throw at least 1 knife to get it going

That was some luck!
But you pretty much played it as best as you could. Open it 10-15% before the lights go off, then hide. Wait for the killer to check and then start heading off, jump right back on and hope you finish it before they get back.
Don't forget don't run. If you leave scratch marks it's pretty much over unless you can somehow sneak past and get to the other door

Yea I've done that check. The graphics are a bit better on ps5 version but the resolution is different since 4.5.0.
The bloodweb buttons etc. We're all half the size on my TV screen when the PS5 version first came out but since the update they're set at the same size as PS4 version.
It's just a resolution bug
I wonder if that has to do with the UI scale feature that was added in 4.5.0.

No mither dosent make you quieter when down as of right now there is no perk that makes you quite when downed
(If nomither dose I didn't notice because I dont get downed long enough to notice)
---
-
So No Mither?
-
Just play Wraith. That's his whole thing is being faster out of a chase
-
There's two reasons I hit someone on the hook if I do.
- I got annoyed with you and chased you for longer than I should have
- I don't want to listen to the screaming and hit you to interrupt the sound (This is the more common reason for me)
-
They're certainly a lot more predictable than solos

Did they even do anything beforehand?
As a Killer main I can assure you they do. I always know when someone is running an Odd Bulb because blinds are damn near instant
-
There needs to be more indoor maps as they're more fun than giant open maps
-
I loot them if it's safe to do so. Especially early/mid-game even if I have an item. I'll do this and leave the item there just in-case for late game when items are more needed, so either me or my teammates don't have to waste time opening a chest. It's already been opened, so the item can be quickly grabbed without wasting any extra time. Late game time is far far more valuable than early game time

Interesting..I had a match the other night. Where they tunneled me off a jigsaw box. And it kept ticking in chase. To the point I actually died on the 3rd box I tried.
The timer should stop (your portrait will turn white instead of red), but the ticking sound will continue. However, the timer does not stop while searching boxes, so maybe that contributed. You got chased off a box, timer pauses, you lose the killer, so the chase ends and the timer continues, but now you have to spend additional time getting back to a box
shrug I don't know as I didn't see the game you played, but that's how it should work
-
Lery's is one of my favorite indoor maps. Cutting through rooms and running down hallways parallel to survivors just to cut them off is great. Lery's is definitely the easiest of the indoor maps

They may not know what to do.. But I've slammed a gen before and dealt with taking it off once the timer started from completing it. I'm more annoyed that traps continue to tick. Even if you're being chased. I know pig isn't the strongest. But I don't feel like it's unfair if you can tunnel a survivor and make it so they can't get the trap off before the timer pops. I almost feel like it should be paused if you're in chase.
Proving the point of OP, heh. Yea, the timers pause while in a chase.

...everything that would otherwise negatively affect a health state, when under the effect of BT (unhooked within the killers terror radius) will trigger the endurance effect.
This. So things like Bubba's and Billy's chainsaws are blocked by BT as well. At least for 1 hit (in the case of Bubba)
-
Or what if it could have twice the duration, so 2 minutes, but both totems break when one is cleansed.

My biggest problem is the PS5 used to have higher resolution when the game for it came out and since 4.6.0 they put the resolution back to PS4 version... There's virtually no difference visually anymore!
Reported it and they don't even respond.
Are you sure you're playing the PS5 version of the game? I have a PS4 Pro and a PS5 and there's a significant difference in the way the two versions look right now. On your PS5, go to DBD and where it says "Play" go the right to the dots and click that. If you're on the PS4 version the option to switch to the PS5 version will be there. (Sometimes it randomly switches which version of the game I'm playing)
-
It's the new lighting in the lobby menus. The blood looks normal in-game
-
There was one time I was struggling on a hook and the gates had been powered. My teammates had opened the gate and the killer (Ghostface) was camping me. They were stealth camping so I knew my teammates wouldn't know he was there, so when I saw they were coming for me I decided that instead of giving the killer more kills I suicided and made the other 3 leave (2 of them were on death hook already).
-
For me it's usually a survivor mistake as I don't realize they've been 3 genned until they are. There's been a few times where I manipulated it, but that's rare. If I notice a group of 3 gens and 1 in the distance, I'll usually ignore the 1 in the distance
