Honestly I would be fine if they buff the numbers of injured perks as remaining injured or using no mither is a massive risk.Visionmaker said:Aari_Piggy66 said:

We'll make it and technician have requirements and are specific.
What the person is suggesting would be like making Thanatophobia reduce action speed by 15% without injuring survivors.I agree.Though as they are now, they are not beneficial enough to be used. Once Self-care is nerfed, they will completely fall out of favor for every situation except No Mither cheese.I just think they should be merged. Resilience could be changed to a double hook-time perk.
Just not having them activate when you're healthy. -

No the perks are fine the way they are.Ihatelife said:Resilience: I would personally remove the effect speed for the generator's and replace it with dropping pallet's faster.
Slightly increasing the number's of percentage to 10/11/12%. Also resilience would work in the full-healed state like in injured state.
This is not happening: The good and great skill check's success zone are bigger by 10/20/30% on ANY action while you are injured or in full-healed state.
30% increase without any downsides is stupid. -

No they're really not, there are loads of ways they can actually buff Killers not only as a whole but individually as well but because it would put immense pressure on solo players they couldn't exactly go along with it now that they're trying to make them more in line they can efficiently buff Killers individually and generally without having one group of the survivor base suffer immensely from it.yeet said:
Survivor nerfs/killer buffs are basically the same thing you're just arguing semantics.Brady said:No.
Survivors are not going to need massive nerfs.
Killers are going to need massive buffs.
The whole point of buffing solo queuers, bringing them to SWF level, is to then balance around SWF level.

You dont, the killer have used a perk slot to be able to make survivors lives just a "bit less easy", do u really need the game to always HOLD YOUR HAND?
Yeah the killer should totally have one perk that can render Bond, Open Handed, Kindred, Plunderer's Instinct, Detective's Hunch, Deja Vu, Empathy, Dark Sense, Object of Obsession, and Alert entirely useless. Great and balanced idea!
First: it's a hex perk.
Second: it's job is to make your life harder by robbing you of your key information.
Third : when you have Killers whose entire power can be completely countered by crouching I think you can excuse one perk that can be removed from the game being able to counter to a couple of other perks
FYI the thread is suggesting to make it a non-hex perk that lasts the whole match upon being hit once.

The speed boost is just going to incentivise more hook rushing.TheHourMan said:Leatherface should be the only killer capable of downing both survivors when they come to save. Killer brings in a Ward, he or she are free to test and explore a new add-on without the fear of losing it to it being smacked out of their hand and dying before being able to retrieve it (or a "teammate" stealing it). Survivor doesn't have the same benefit if the killer uses Franklin's Demise and it doesn't feel all that fair. What if the perk made survivors unable to use their item for a certain amount of time instead of knocking it out of their hand? It could correlate with a flat time or with an objective being done (like add a new thing a survivor would need to do to unlock the item).
Not only does that idea make the perk incredibly weak, but it doesn't even make sense in the context of the killer it's coming from. Franklin's Demise is based off of a scene in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in which a character named Franklin is brutally murdered by Leatherface, dropping the flashlight he was carrying as result. It's a direct tie to the movie in which Leatherface came, and a good perk. Is it really all that difficult to find your item later?
The issue is when someone else takes the item when you have a white ward. Someone else suggested the item would go back to your inventory regardless (if you didn't use it up). I was also thinking it may be a good idea to like lock it to the character (like make it not visible and pick-up-able to others).
That would lead to terrible exploits.
SWFs would use white wards to create copies of items, because they can drop it at the gate and keep it anyway, while someone else picks it up and keeps it also.
Very bad idea.Did you even read the second half of what fluffy said? You know, the bits of the suggestion where she puts in, essentially "not interact-able for the other survivors"? Because if the other survivors can't interact with it, they can't make copies. And right now? There's an even easier exploit: Alt f4. If you disconnect, you keep your items and addons, as a survivor. Honestly, even if the killer IS running franklin's demise, if they find you, you can outright quit and be assured you still have your item. Abusing disconnects is actually a better protection for your item then the in game safety net offering. Think a bit on that.
It's why if you have a if you have a white Ward on and you find a better item in a chest and decide to keep it, it will actually save your new item.
If you want a white Ward to give you an immunity to item lost due to Franklin's demise would have to change how the white ward works. Many people would be no longer able to use it to protect items they find/received in the game and it will only protect the items you bring in. -

That's a big difference between vocal information and someone has to tell a person and visual information that everyone can see.Peanits said:I would say no.
The intent with kindred is to help bring solo players up to the same level as SWF, then allowing them to buff killers without leaving solo players in the dust. SWF groups can already share the same information except better and in more detail. Kindred will not reveal a killer further than 8m away, while a premade group could let you know any time they're within the terror radius. Premade groups can even call out insidious camping killers just outside the 8m range, whereas kindred would not.
It's not really a buff to survivors as a whole. It's information that's already there for many people. It's just leveling the playing field, making it possible to buff killers.
Even so, if killers were to receive a baseline perk, I don't know why it would be BBQ & Chili. It's already a great perk that's well worth a slot. Kindred definitely isn't one of the best perks out there, so comparing the two is totally bonkers. If anything, I would say some sort of built in ruin to slow down generator progression. Though this was also mentioned on the same stream, where they talked about potentially adding a secondary objective for survivors. I feel like that's the route to go there.
The most someone could tell their friends is no one's coming for me or you guys are across map that is vastly different from being able to see everybody's positions.
I like what they did with the obsession mechanics it was subtle. you didn't know where that person what killer was chasing them all you knew was that they were being chased.
As I said before it is a buff to survivors on the whole ( which is the bad thing) you seeing the situation for yourself is always going to be vastly better than someone describing it to you.
The point I'm trying to make here is it's a very powerful ability to give away for free. -
I'm all for getting rid of exhaustion most of the time exhaustion is practically already back by the time someone gets unhooked so I don't really care too much about it.
However I don't agree with removing all the other status effects it makes things like sloppy Butcher, the third seal and most status afflicting add-ons useless.
It also severely mitigates how well make your choice can work which I don't get considering the devs already stated in a devstream that the advantage of make your choices that it lasts a minute so even if adrenaline or an insta here gets people back to full health there still exposed.

While I'm not too sure about ignoring people on hook I'm definitely against ignoring people in lockers as someone who has had matches with a bunch of immersed survivors.oke said:No it shouldn't - If it ignored hooked survivors, you know exactly if people are around the hook, ready to save. But yes, it should ignore surv in lockers.
I don't like playing musical lockers when the last survivors left but at least with whispers I have a general location.
It's already hard enough as it is to find the survivor who's playing immersed and not doing anything. Whispers is great for finding the last survivor because it gives you a decent indication of the general location but not there exact position.
Meaning as a killer you just know to look around the area and as a survivor it's not accurate enough for it to reveal you, so you can still move around and stealth around it.
-
Honestly I'm confused why they didn't just go with the closing the hatch powers the exit idea.
It would make perks like remember me and wake up a lot more viable. -
Well if the killer has remember me or dying light that's kind of the price you have to pay for being The Obsession whether you bring in an obsession perk or not.
The clues in the name you're the killers obsession so they're either going to focus everything they got on you to get you out of the game to incentivise their perks once again dying light and remember me or they're going to save you for last because the longer you stay alive the more you benefit them this would be your play with your food and Save The Best For Last. -
Well that's amazing you managed to rank up four times when it's impossible to go below rank 15 once you hit it. you so deserve a cookie.
Most of the time Killers complain about lupin it's not looping around a pallet they're talking about what their main annoyances is things like barn loops places where the killer could literally do nothing else other than hope bloodlust gets them to hit because the loop is too efficient to mind game and perks like bamboozle won't help.
Also you preach the word adapt yet you say stealth is impossible because of aura reading perks yet you don't want to adapt to countering them the amount of times survivor mains, killer mains and the devs themselves have told you how to counter it if you honestly still say it's impossible don't bring up adapting because it makes you sound like a hypocrite. -

I think you seen my Amanda buffs thread where it's impossible to remove a RBT with the first completed search. Additionally I also want to see either fast crouch movement speed or increased dash speed to hit those pesky SB users!Aari_Piggy66 said:As An Amanda main I'm biased but I really want

*Her traps to be more difficult to remove so they can apply more pressure without being reliant on end game. (I'm fine with the rng just make them a challenge to remove)
*Also for the love of god fix her add-ons so there are more than three that are worth using
However with that element the traps at least need to be a challenge to take off.
For for example treating the skill checks like snap out of it skill checks where they have a smaller size and you can't gain any additional progression would be a decent start. Also making certain perks work with it for example huntress lullaby and thanatophobia.
I do agree with increasing the crouching movement speed so you're not slower than nurse and can actually apply some pressure when crouched honestly 100% movement speed would be fine.
As for the Ambush the speed is fine just the charge time should be increased. -
Most of the time people without sprint burst would get hit with the standard ambush anyway unless they juked or put something in the way between them like a pallet or a vaultMilo said:So those who don't use SB should be even more punished?
-
I don't really know how you could fix no mither and make everybody happy.
If you don't start of the match injured then it ruins it synergy with the injured perks meaning people who are running that said build are going to have to actively get themselves injured that will probably result in a hook which can screw them over more than the build is actually worth.
if you start off injured there is no way a killer is going to be stupid enough to leave you slugged on the ground.
But you're going to have to ask yourself how common do you think slugging is going to be in if you're going to make the change.
Even if that's the case and slugging is prevalent enough for it to be worth to change I still feel like people would overwhelmingly just pick unbreakable anyway so they're not permanently injured all game. Then you just turned a perk that can work very well on a niche build into a very situation perk that is overwhelmingly outclassed by unbreakable.
If you were to keep its current state the only way I can suggested buffing it is
*Make it not trigger Thanatophobia unless you're down or hooked
* Increase the reduction of grunting sounds to 75% or higher
* add a bonus incentive for using it for example fast exhaustion recovery, a slight boost to action speed or faster wiggle when in the killer's grasp
Tldr: making you start healthy isn't a good idea if you want to buff it you have to do it whilst keeping yourself injured.
-
A lot of people have suggested the idea of a repair speed debuff for a limited amount of time after being hook.
This way it actually disincentivize tunneling as you can't apply another debuff until the first one has run out so the most optical thing to do is try to make sure you hook every survivor at least once before going after somebody again.

Why do you act like having a killer favoured map is such a bad thing.
Hell there are several maps that are Survivor favoured with the preschool probably being the one that has become balanced when it used to be heavily in the survivors favour.
Also hard to rank up as a survivor I'm a trash tier survivor (I can't really juke and end up messing up loops) and I find it incredibly easy to reach Rank 1 without trying
Anyway seriously it's one map out of how many I legitimately think we can let the fact that it's killer sided slide at least once.

Hey look at that, you found an interesting story to tell.No_Mither_No_Problem said:A little background info: This was on Xbox DBD. I was solo Qing (no SWF). My Perk loadout consisted of T3 Dead Hard, T1 No Mither, T2 We’ll Make It, and T3 Resilience on David King.
Game starts. Thompson House. Not off to a great start. Five minutes and one gen in, one team mate has been hooked and rescued and another is in the basement. The Killer (Doctor) is circling the big house, making sure no one is nearby. I wait until he scampers off, then make a mad dash for my hooked friend. I free her, but the Doctor comes back and I get chased for a good while (saved by Dead Hard) until he finally catches me. He puts me on a hook near the cornfields.
After some time, Claudette has come to get me. For the heck of it, I attempt an unhook escape since it will now be inconsequential—and right as she’s about to rescue me, I successfully free myself first try.
So, that’s already meme material enough. I scamper off since she’s unable to heal me and get some gen repairs done. Eventually, the basement Surv is hooked in there again.
The Doctor has started to camp pretty hard. I wait for an opening and sneak in, unhooking them once more. I can hear the Doctor coming. I decide, “Screw it! I’ll Dead Hard into him and buy time for my friend! One of us is getting out of here alive!”
And one of us did—me. The DH invulnerability window made the Doc swing and miss, but my poor friend elected to stay back downstairs. He goes for her, buying me time to get out. So get out I do. Things go normally until I’m found again. And one vault—one singular vault—saved my life. I narrowly escape the grasp of the Doctor and flee to the safest possible place: a pallet.
I can’t loop him because he’s too close, but I can stall him. I drop it and continue running till I get to the meat tree. It’s there that I finally bamboozle him, once more thanks to a sacred vault. Didn’t even need to use the pallet.
The gens are all popped. Suddenly, Nea goes down. I’m not letting my friends die. I get close before he picks her up and bait him away. He goes for me, and I vault to safety yet again—until, sadly, he finally catches me near an exit gate.
I sigh in concedement. I had a good run; I probably at least safety’d. I wait for the Doctor to grab and hook me, sealing my fate.
But he doesn’t. The Claudette that I had escaped in front of is now here, and he goes for her instead! She leads him on a chase, drawing him far, far away from me—allowing No Mither to pick me up off the ground.
I’m right in front of an exit gate. But Nea is still down in the cornfields. I know what I must do. I make a beeline for her while Claudette escapes the Killer, healing her to full. She is saved because of me.
We both head for the other, closer exit gate. I start working on it, only for the Killer to ambush us. Nea and I both run. Instead of going for me, he goes for her, allowing me to open the gate.
Claudette has left at this point. Nea goes down. I run after her, not knowing she was dead on hook. She perishes, to my great sorrow. The Doctor turns and locks eyes with me.
There are no pallets, no windows—nothing but a Killer and a now-distant exit.
I get about halfway there before he hits me. My Dead Hard fails. I go down. He picks me up. Now my fate is certainly sealed. I begin wiggling in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, I can be free. But such a hope is rapidly diminishing. As I’m half of the way there, we arrive at the hook—but there is a pallet blocking his way.
He attempts to go the other way. But he gets too frustrated with the effects my wiggling has on his movement. He drops me. I attempt desperately to crawl away as he shatters the pallet. I get as far as I can. He picks me up.
So close. So, so close.
The hook is drawing near. We are inside the jungle gym. But I am almost saved.
And then, it happens. Not five metres from my death, I break free. In my amazement, I almost forget to run.
Almost.
I push past the Doctor, on a dead sprint for the exit. He recovers from the stun and is in hot pursuit. The gate is so close, but the Doctor is closer.
Then I realize—my failed Dead Hard! Because it never happened, I have no Exhaustion!
He’s not within lunge range, but he’s getting much too close. Taking no chances, I dash to the exit and burst out screaming in victory on the other side. After all the strife, all the failed save attempts, all the chases, I’m free.
And had it not been for No Mither, I most certainly would have died.
Truly a stunning experience.

After alittle bit a crow begins to start flying around my head, now this is still because he is just lapping my tractor he never leaves. Meanwhile 4 gens have been done but here he is still lapping me. Then a 2nd crow appears and finally that gives me away and the blind killer finds me as the last gen is finished, hooks me and face camps me. I de-rank ( inc Rank doesn't matter comment) and im the only one to die no fault to my teammates they mob him and get me off, but he has a perk blocking my escape and he gets me again. I don't see how this is fair? I understand what the birds are for? But do you think there would be a way to code it to not give me away in a situation like this? What could I have done? I have clipped it from my stream and added it for people to watch?

Why didn't you leave if you're going to stay immersed in one position and not move you can't really blame the game mechanics for that.
No one was forcing you to stay there you could very easily just ran would you have triggered a chase probably but likely is it is you wouldn't have been camped and killed.
