They one issue with bear trap is that they don't really cause any pressure simply because they're too easy to take off that mixed with rng makes them incredibly weak. The only time they really add pressure is endgame and that's not because they automatically activate or because the of bear trap snap death. It's simply because people can't leave until they get it off giving Amanda more chances to get you.Eninya said:I was pretty sure Huntress' Lullaby and Thanatophobia affect boxes, but I haven't used either perk on her since before I finished my main build.
I don't think Jigsaw Box skill checks should be like Madness skill checks. Traps aren't meant to have a strong chance of killing you. If anything, Madness should be f*cking nerfed. I think the traps are pretty balanced right now, and statistically, she has a better kill rate than most killers. At most, they could _maybe _shave 5-10 seconds off of the timer, but anything else would be far too easy to get people killed with them. As it is, Tampered Timer with +1 box can be extremely dangerous if you're unhooked into your timer ticking and can't start on your closest box.
I find her main weakness to be in Ambush, since it's the lowest impact part of her by a huge margin. The roar is just too much of an alert to survivors, and there should be an inherent risk against Pig when doing generators/totems in low-visibility areas, and especially at pallets she could mindgame with it.
I'm not suggesting snap out of it skill checks because it would get kills but because it would apply pressure and make survivors more focused and getting the trap off than d9oing anything else standard skill checks are not hard to hit and with the fact that her traps are already RNG based it removes all the pressure they have.
Currently unnerving presence is the only killer perk that actually effects jigsaw boxes to make them more "difficult" ( I put quotations around that simply because unnerving presence by itself is not hard to hit if anything it just makes it great easier to get) however when it comes to making boxes even easier than they already are you have.
Resilience

Compared to that is adding lullaby and thanatophobia list really going to be that overpowered.
As for mind gaming at pallets when it comes to crouching you're only going to hit potato survivors as people like bricky and monto has stated themselves any smart survivor is just going to leave the pallet when they notice you're crouching and then come back to it when you stand up. -
You know what's the best counter for nurse stealth her blinking severely crippled her tracking capability. Which is why a lot of nurses equip shadowborn or bloodhound
-
Aww my poor Lowbei is trapped up behind bars.
Shame he was entertaining till the bitter end. -
No she really doesn't, when she is crouched she moves at 92% movement speed. The nurse on the other hand moves at 96.25% when not blinking meaning Amanda is 4.25% slower than nurse when she is in crouch mode.RotBb said:Amanda moves at 108% speed when crouched
This is why I suggested increasing it to 100%. This way you can actually have a lot more map pressure whilst crouched but you can't use it to basically keep up with survivors you would have to get up and run if you want to go after them.

If we are being honest it really just depends on what Totem they have, I could see a killer defending devour hope, noed or debatably huntress depending on the amount of tokens.

Saw however not really a fan of anything after 3. it became too much of a torture porn and they forgot about tell an interesting story with likeable antagonists like Amanda and John (Looking at you Hoffman)
Saw 6 was my one exception because William was such a good character who actually went through development.
If I had to rank it the original would be my favourite followed by three then six next two/Jigsaw, the rest I hate -
Blocking someone when they have a reverse bear trap on isn't taking the game hostage because you're doing it with intent to kill.Nickenzie said:
Yeah, waiting for the RBT timer to expire takes 30 seconds longer than waiting for someone to get sacrificed on a hook (without add-ons that affect the RBT's timer) which is 2 minutes if you never been hooked. I had two survivors with active RBT timers in the basement so I got myself some Moutain Dew and texted my friends while I waited for 2 survivors to die from the RBT. I eventually stopped blocking the basement because someone basically said basement blocking to prevent us from removing our RBT is bannable.Visionmaker said:The devs said it wasn't bannable because death is still escaping. Not different from facecamping the hook.
I think it's dumb, but it's such a rare situation anyway, it hardly matters. As long as you're not sitting there upwards to 50 years to force the survivor to rage quit.
However if someone else is stuck in there as well and without a reverse bear trap you are still allowed to wait for the bear trap to go off but the second that person with the bear trap dies you have to stop blocking whether that means you go and hit the other person or you just let them go that's your choice as long as you're no longer in body blocking.
It's only taking the game hostage when you block someone in an area for no reason (bm isn't a reason also waiting for them to disconnect isn't a reason)

So all I'm reading is that you screwed up your positioning and a killer took advantage of that to get you into Madness 3 and get hit.Dominator said:What usually happens is i'm repairing agen, a killer comes from the other side to damage it and doesn't see me, but last game the doctor saw me and trapped between a gen and a wall, which gave me madness 3 and a forced hit, i tried running in every direction but it only used up my sprint burst. Why is this a thing? Maybe make it a second to get a hit and then let the survivors pass through.
Also to answer your response a killer has to take the initiative and hit any survivors body blocking but a survivor doesn't have to take the initiative in positioning themselves correctly.Dominator said:@deadwolfwalking said:

Talking about Killers: Amanda especially if you're a fan of the saw series as she's not an inherently bad person.
Even putting people in inescapable traps stems from her mental issues and how she feels like she didn't change and is still taking her life for granted ( going from drug abuse to self-harm) watching her mental state deteriorate as she starts to think John only saw her as a pawn was pretty sad and it's even more sad when you realise John didn't care about her as an apprentice he cared about her as family. She was just as important him as Jill.
However the worst part of it all was even after the final events of saw 3 when brought into the entity's realm after going crazy and her mental state deteriorating even more she rationalized that this is what John wanted for her and killing lynn and putting people in unwinnable traps was actually the right course of action and now she views the entity as a surrogate John.
Talking about survivors: Feng Min honestly I kind of relate to the whole trying so hard to achieve other people's respect and admiration due to a lack of it at home despite being coined as a lone wolf at least when she's in the realm anyway she clearly does care about other people even to the point where she prioritises what day feel over her own health.
She had depression and anxiety that she might let people down to the point where she start actively damaging her own life is kind of tragic.
Also black sheep of my family myself, I kind of despise her parents just because I know from experience how showing your child very minimal affection and belief can really screw them over. To the point where they actively start trying to get that from the others even though it might put them in the best situation. -

This is a quote from which you previously stated if you cannot see the smugness then there is literally no point in talking to you.
Amanda players have realised her in game potential within the first few hours of her release. you're not stating something that is revolutionary even survivor mains know what end game piggy is and how deadly it can be but they also know how very easy it is to counter why because it actively relies on no one escapes death and is a very telegraphed way to play.
I'm not exaggerating about this, Amanda has one of the most telegraphed end game of any killer in Dead by daylight. As once you've already used two traps most survivors will notice the fact that you're saving the rest of them and immediately start hunting down totems if they haven't already for the simple fact that you are the pig a killer well known for running endgame along with the likes of Wraith, Trapper and Freddy. -

That quote was in response to you stating how these shouldn't be a a thing because the bear trap has the ability to kill and as the person responded even if you practically build to try to kill people with a bear trap it's still extremely difficult because it's easy to get it off.
As I've said I have played a Amanda since her release and I could tell you from running with very different builds on her (ranging from tracking builds using Amanda's letter to unnerving presence distressing to try to see if I can get bear trap kills) even if you have a build fully dedicated to get in bed trap kills not only is it still incredibly easy to get the better off but because it's based on rng real way of impacting if someone can get it off or not.

Firstly no where ever have we stated that we want the bear traps to kill how about you actually read the post before you start smugly commenting.patroclus said:What high tier pig is using these to explode heads?!?!?! The best use is at the end game so survivors cant escape via the exit. You save the helmets for the last gen or 2, so that the survivors can not escape after they complete it. I have main Amanda since she came out you're not going to be able to tell me anything about playing her that I don't already know. Literally you telling me to save my bear traps is like telling a billy main that he could use his chainsaw for mobility.
If You find yourself frequently dying to a bear trap you should probably learn how to play Survivor.
But you're considering you're having trouble let me break this down slowly for you the main reason they are used for end game is because they have no real threat in early to mid game.
The she mostly have to rely on end game is the problem other than that don't apply enough pressure these perks can simply apply pressure
As I stated before it is easy to get a bear trap off if you don't and you die to it it is because you either wasted way too much time being immersed or you simply had a piggy who is good at chasing you away from boxes. -

Honestly I don't hate the Devs but I really don't believe what they say anymore my main issue is I wouldn't have had a problem If the death garden cosmedics were exclusive to PC what annoys me is how they already stated it "no more exclusives that single out platforms".SovererignKing said:
“No more exclusives” ... *two weeks later* “PC exclusive Death Garden mask for Meg and Trapper!”Outland said:No on legacy for consoles, and no on any exclusives for consoles.
Legacy is a reward to people who played this game when bloodwebs were nuts and still managed to P3. It was dedication like theirs that helped this game continue to be a success. (I don't have any legacy).
And the Devs have already said that they do not want anymore exclusives, as it only breeds unhappiness from those players of the game that are excluded. It was the whole reason they came up with the Charity Case. There were so many streamer exclusives and the player base was bummed they couldn't get their favourite streamers gear.
BHVR's stand is to TRY and make everything between PC and both CONSOLES even, including release dates. I know the release dates got hosed this time around but it was their intention to have it all come out at the same time.
Yeah... they sure are “trying” real hard.
Funny enough that quote came from a response to a question when someone asked are consoles going to get their all exclusives like PC got Bill.
Event exclusives I'm fine with as long as everyone has a chance to participate and it's not region based or something like that for example the lunar event cosmetics everyone has access to it as long as you were playing during that event. -
Why should dance with me work with balance landing a kind of eliminates the pointer of fast vaulting or getting out of a locker quickly. As without sacrificing another perk slot for quick and quiet all these actions cause noises so the killer has at least a chance the track despite the lack of scratch marks.oke said:Exhaustion is getting nerfed and I do understand the devs that Exhaustion perks should not be triggered twice in a chase. They also stated that they want to change Exhaustion so that other perks will get used.
While these are nice ideas, Exhaustion perks will always be useful (unless significantly nerfed), so I think it is almost impossible to convice players to not use an Exhaustion perk.
Sprint Burst is still the best Exhaustion perk. Many people think even more people will run SB. It is pretty much unconditional. The way to go is to make other Exhaustion perks more viable by giving them some value to them other than Speed.
Balanced Landing is already a very situational perk, as it is almost completely useless on some maps.
- Completely eliminate the penalty of dropping, not just reducing by 75%
- Eliminate the sound when dropping.
This would give players options to lose the killer. Also buff Dance With Me to work with BL instead of just Lithe.Lithe:
- Silent vault with cooldown of 40sec to work with Dance With MeDead Hard:
- Leave no or significantly less blood trails.
This would make maps like Lery's and The Game much less painful because blood trails are extremely strong on these maps. This would make Sprint Burst the perk to use to gain an advantage in the beginning of the chase, the other 3 perks would be used to end a chase by losing the killer.

For survivors dance with me, technician and stake out.
For Killers Thanatophobia, Huntress and pop goes the weasel -
The change your experiencing with pallets is known as the removal of the pallet vacuum simply drop the pallet a lot earlier as now you can't do a lot of unnecessary loops. It's removal was because survivors were abusing it to extend the chase far longer than it should have been.
As for the huntress lullaby suddenly stopping when the huntress is in an active chase her lullaby will stop and resume when the chase is finished.
If you hear the lullaby stop abruptly for no reason it's because she's in a chase this has always been in the game but was bugged during the emblem update.
( Interesting fact when her lullaby comes back after a chase, it will always start from the beginning of the track so if you ever heard the huntress actually singing "la la la" and laughing both of which are things that happen towards the end of the lullaby track it means she hasn't been in a chase for at least 5 minutes or so)
Also Killers being stunned from falls would just create more Infinite especially if the survivor has balanced landing. If you don't have balance landing it's probably not the best course of action for you to be dropping from high elevations during a chase

I was playing Amanda and I managed to get three really altruistic Claudettes in a survive with friends group who switch to flashlight in the last 5 seconds so I'm already pissed off before the game even starts. Anyway they kept trying to run into the basement for a save which allowed me to practically get all three on struggle stage with bear traps on before the first generator had even popped.
Out of nowhere the solo Feng Min pops and runs in the basement for the save * insert Agent Smith evil laugh* So I allow it, I mean to be honest I was planning on camping their dumb asses anyway. After seeing the conga line run upstairs I managed to block the basement entrance with my thicc Piggy body at which point I began the most satisfying 2 minutes 30 seconds of butt dances session of my life.
After all the Claudettes were dead by bear trap I just farmed with the Min and let her escape I'm pretty sure she even managed to take one of their flashlights.
I love lone wolf/solo Feng Mins. -
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is not difficult to get a reverse bear trap off most of the time if you don't get it off it's either because you didn't spend enough time searching boxes or you are playing too immersed.patroclus said:Please no. On top of that, you are unable to work on generators AND it has the ability to kill you. Stop relying so much on the mask and learn how to zone properly.
Not only that the boxes run on standard skill checks so unlike something like the doctor's snap out of it you can actually search the boxes even quicker if you get greats. I have only died to reverse bear trap once and that was simply because the pig was chasing someone around the Jigsaw box that I needed to work on and I was playing for too cautiously and didn't just go for the box.
In their current state reverse bear traps do not inflict any pressure unless you're on a large map and even then only if the boxes are spread out. what I'm asking for is just 2 perks that require you to stack to actually affect the boxes. -
Y as much as I love her add ons dead effect her bear traps the reason why they're not as effective as the Crouch and ambush add-ons it's because there's so we reliant on rng it's all well and good having tempered timer and slow release toxin however if the survivor gets it off within 30 seconds in their first bear trap you've basically just wasted one of your for bear traps and the add-ons on it were absolutely pointless.Eninya said:@Aari_Piggy66 said:
What are you talking about the add-ons are related to ambush are probably her best addons. Also in comparison to third seal face mask is a lot more guaranteed so again I don't know what you're talking about.
You haven't faced survivors that know how to avoid the Ambush at pallets. It becomes completely nullified by... running away. Most survivors don't bother/know this, but it's incredibly easy to avoid if she resorts to this at a pallet. The miniscule delays the addons shave off of it aren't enough, and they don't fix the issues it already suffers with Sprint Burst making them immune to it if they're running away. Ambush not working against it is a casualty of the attack recognition/hit box design within the game (based on the explanation by McLean).
Also, Facemask is bad because survivor perks trump blindness effects, and the only one they don't is Hex: Third Seal, which is why the Blindness mechanic as a whole is trash outside of it.
And everytime I mention how bad traps need to be more threatening or difficult to deal with to add more pressure I often get the response that bear traps are not meant to kill.
Which has nothing to do with what I was trying to imply net current state especially on smaller maps survivors can mess about with a trap on their head and not have to worry too much about getting it off.
Hell even when I was playing a survivor search free boxes as the timer hit the halfway limit meaning removing the 12 second takes to search a jigsaw box I had about 1 minute and 3 seconds to do whatever the hell I wanted.
However this post was mainly meant to rate her add-ons not to discuss stuff that she needs to become a better killer but some quick examples would probably be getting rid of the standard skill checks for jigsaw boxes, making ruleset no.2 part of her base kit and changing the add-on,make Huntress and Thanatophobia work on boxes and fix her god damn gear add-on
-
It's meant to be a lone wolf perk besides being a Focus competitor Min is also described as being a lone wolf and not super altruistic. Lore wise it basically means she won't put herself in danger to save you and she prefers to work by herself and all her perk seem to reflect that.HeroLives said:

I'd say absolutely, I can repair generators right next to the Killer, and if they're not rocking some good headphones you literally can't hear any repair. My last set of headphones I used for 4 years were bad so I couldn't hear anything. Now it's just extremely faint and it's fun repairing in front of Killers when they chase someone (chase music drowns out the noise hardcore, making doing the gen safe).
Only if I listen really closely. It does make a big difference.
Awesome awesome. I like this. Follow up question if someone else is doing a gen with you does it cancel over your perk so that the gen progression can now be heard?
Yeah it can, though only that person will be heard, so if they run away and the Killer spots them, you're safe to repair it without any fear of being heard. It could be more beneficial to work by yourself but if someone next to you is a loud worker and they take the Killer away, gives you more room to do that gen since the Killer would've thought "Oh there was just one person here, didn't see/hear anyone else" so he likely won't be back there.
I've repaired gens right next to loop areas and the Killer couldn't see me nor hear me since he was too focused on the chase, where otherwise he would have heard it (since repairs are loud) which would give yourself away. It's such an underrated but awesome perk.
Technician helping you and you alone repair stealthily.
Alert gives you aura reading of the Killer so you know how best to avoid them.
Lithe is an exhaustion perk and none of the exhaustion perk benefit anyone else but the user.
-
What I don't get is the perk as you said means fear of death so wouldn't seeing those around you be sacrificed or killed only bolster your fear so in that case I don't see why it doesn't count death as a stackBravo0413 said:the perk does need love... like you said the perk means fear of death... why not buff the effect a little more and then for those who have been hooked and saved they have a debuff effect for a time duration... like a 2min 25% repair/heal/opening exits!!! like why not? debuff... the perk would be viable
-
What are you talking about the add-ons are related to ambush are probably her best addons.Eninya said:All addons related to Ambush and box searching are weak, even if you build around them. They always will be due to the roar attached to the attack sequence. In many cases, it's better to simply exit stealth, and the only solid application it has after the initial sneak of the game is to mind-game some pallet loops. I mean, on grassy maps you actually struggle to see in the distance when fog is rendering correctly, so sometimes it's just as big a detriment to try and sneak and be aware of your surroundings.
Rules Set No. 2 is... okay when combined with Tampered Timer. It's not even good with +1 box because the only time seeing boxes matters is when your timer is going anyway. If the timer isn't active, you have as much time as you need (provided you evade the killer) to remove your trap.
I like that Pig's traps are anti-tunnel mechanics (granted, I see 80% of Pigs still tunnel, and often camp, with them), but they're just as limited as they can be useful. I never use the Hemorrhage or Mangled addons because the Exhaustion addon is so much stronger for catching a trapped survivor. Mangled is pointless because they will remove their trap before they're healed if they can, and Hemorrhage is almost universally unnecessary for finding an injured survivor if your audio is configured properly.
Facemask sounded good on paper, but anything not Third Seal isn't good for isolation mechanics because survivor perks beat them. It's a wasted addon slot, and it doesn't blind them from seeing boxes, either. (Ultra rare addon to increase timer, but unable to see box auras, maybe?) The problem is that you need the OTHER survivors blinded--not the one you trapped. It would make a LOT more sense to have Pig's traps prevent aura reading on her target as an addon, or maybe a reworked in feature.
I really like that she promotes even punishment with her traps enabling scenarios in which a survivor is 100% locked out of repairing generators without dying (even if it's built upon RNG). Make Your Choice further cemented this in her design when they built her base perks. However, the traps aren't as directly effective as a Trapper's bear trap is because they don't apply any immediate danger. You're also unable to control the activation of the timer until the end of the match, so if generators stall everyone can remove them at their leisure while you're hunting. This isn't a particularly good situation for Pig, even if she built for tracking.
My favorite addons are:
Tampered Timer - Versatile; always usefulRules Set No. 2 - Fun, and promotes panic
Jigsaw's Annotated Plan/Sketch - +1 box, even with +30s timer, can waste an immense amount of time
Slow-Release Toxin - Makes for catching survivors easy, and nulls Vigil's broken synergy with Sprint Burst. Great when that last standing survivor is trapped and running around. (I seriously underestimated this addon for a long time.)
If you run Distressing + Unnerving Presence, her box search addons become okay-ish at best, but you're still burning two perk slots with questionable usefulness at best. The Macabre Search skill checks are nowhere near as difficult as breaking Madness 3 on The Doctor even without Unnerving Presence.
Also in comparison to third seal face mask is a lot more guaranteed so again I don't know what you're talking about.
Also on the point of pigs tunneling 50% of the time most people who complain that pigs tunnel are the people who run around like headless chickens when they have beer traps and when they run in front of the pig they somehow don't comprehend that they're not immune to being chased.
Even though I agree with your point about distressing and unnerving presence I don't really see what the point of bring it up was when I've already mentioned it in the interlocking razor segment. -

And no I’m not talking BBQ, I’m talking even with no perks. During the games very early days, characters, especially male characters, crouched WAY lower, allowing them to ACTUALLY hide. Killers, as this game progresses seem to get more and more capability to not lose, but NOT DOWN EITHER a found survivor, or find a survivor, without perks. I believe stealth needs a buff. The main culprits aside from these is really poor map design. Spine chill or not, if killers coming to a gen, that has LITERALY NO COVER, not even UE can save that. Looking at you autohaven. Speaking of autohaven, and going back to male characters, they’re figure is too big to even hide behind the obstacles. And not because they’re naturally taller. Yes of course that’d make hiding more difficult, but their animation is just trash. They SPREAD their arms (######### WHY?) and barely even get down to the ground, when it’s definitly and realistically possible to get lower than they do.
Chases. Chases are also a big problem. They are TOO HARD to escape. BUT WAY TO EASY to distract the killer the entire match, and then run out the gate. That’s stupid. Bloodlust hurts people trying to escape too. Make the killers hitbox smaller, so they don’t suffer. It’d help stop looping, but wouldn’t trash on escaping the chase. You CAN DEFINITLY hide, but that usually requires doing very tiny progress, and crouching a good 30m from basically anything. Yeah you’ll stay hidden, but everyone including yourself will hate you. It’s not in anyway entertaining. People like 2 things in survivor regarding interaction. Stealthing NEAR THE KILLER, and being chased and wither 1) escaping the chase or 2) Looping because you win, and to some WINNING is the best part.
Snotjer thing, besides UE and Iron will, possibly new Calm spirit, all the stealth perks besides them are bad, and not just a little. Spine chill gives you a good extra SINGLE SECOND to react (and can give false warning from killer just turning) it’s number bonuses are basically pointless. Premonition should have a bit longer range, and shorter cooldown. QaQ is backstreet trash. Either killer already see’s you. Doesn’t but knows you totally went in the locker due to you INSTANTLY disappearing. Or you vaulted or hide early enough where it wasn’t even needed.
The fact that REMOVING its cooldown probably wouldn’t make it too strong, if only just a little; goes to show its level up basically useless. It shouldn’t require running it with 3 other perks to be useful. And any quick locker action ALSO REQUIRES YOU TO QUICKLY EXIT THE LOCKER. Dance with me is only somewhat good with lithe, and even still is not really useful on all but léry’s, and complete useless trash on the farm. Sole survivor is just bad. Too weak AND situational. Only good with OoO. Which before everyone’s dead, is the exact opposite of stealth and has a really high chance to 1) kill you, or 2) make you look in a bad direction, killing awareness. Not to mention THEY’RE NERFING IT! What the hell!?
There is no single perk to reduce blood flow besides no mither, absolute garbage, worse than anything else, and as such, if you get injured, goodbye already slim chance of escaping that chase. Unless you packed iron will, which is mandatory to not be moaning at the killer to find you. Dark sense is just bad. Even in PTB. Seeing the killer isn’t very helpful to hide, when you just revealed your location anyway, so they’ll either find you anyway, or never even come. Technician should just remove your sound of gen progress. And the skill check failure prevention is not really useful, at all. Even if it removed skill check failure it wouldn’t be.
Taking any fall, even short makes you gasp in a radius where you’ll be discovered if within 16m, which is big. The sound of falling is fine, your feet will obviously make noise. The gasp is just unnecessary. If not gotten rid of, it should be put on iron will or balanced landing, why it’s not already is weird. Lightweight should reduce sounds of your footsteps. Curentally it’s not a useful perk unless you plan on sprint bursting away from your problems. Ew.
Corn. Can’t hide in it, and my as well be nothing. It only effects people with handicapped eyes, that means it’s useless for normal hiding, and just hurts certain killer players. Double negative. Fix it, make it more dense, I don’t know; just fix it. Map design would fix most of these problems actually. Mainly there is just so many open fields, which should honestly just never exist in this game. I’m not saying put pallets, as there should be less actually, but make current obstacles that are too short taller, and add new obstacles too. Again, autohaven is stupid especially for this reason. It’s just loop haven in reality. No one wants that.
Long story short. Buff bad stealth perks. Animation fixes for MUH GENDER EQUALITY. Make chases much harder to DISTRACT for long periods of time, but EASIER to ACTUALLY SHAKE THE KILLER. He shouldn’t get punished for his job: chasing and downing. He should only lose time, if he loses a chase. Curentally if he chases and loses, he loses WAY TO MUCH TIME, but losing the killer is basically impossible anyway. Most of all, MAKE LOS BREAKERS. Gens being in a field is bad. Fields in general are bad. Autohaven is literally too short. Male crouch is literally too tall. Claudette is nasty. Rotten fields should just disappear. That’s all for now folks.
This game IS a stealth game. That’s included in the games description, along with this “other” stuff shown here...

That simply make perks like Franklin's demise and Lightborn absolute gambles. Unless you're suggesting at all Killers just pretty much mandatory equip them. So The Killers are supposed to go against four flashlights they had no idea about and couldn't bring any setup or counterRailY said:There are so many cases reported where killers will dodge a lobby when they see items (no matter what kind of items really)
or even bloody clothing. And that's the best case scenario. Worst case scenario they will DC at the begining of the match
and you will lose everything you brought with you.I don't understand why it's ok for the killer to Bring Mories/Tombstones and stuff like that while the won't accept any items from survivors.
Now survivors started 6-second swapping and it's a bloody war out there. Killer Mains vs Survivor Mains. Just remove this stupid feature please. It only promotes fighting
I've even been forced to not use my Auric Cell items that I just bought because WAY too many killers Dodge me and it takes 3-4 Lobbies until I get a game. I'm just stuck with my Green shirt and the default pants with Claudette for now.
That's silly -
I don't know if it's just a consequence of playing on consoles but as a killer main I have been reported up the ass it's not even funny as long as you do anything the survivor dislikes enjoy your report especially if you're up against survive with friends enjoy reports from each of them.TeambossFloze said:@RemoveSWF said:

Every killer who plays to win will be thumbed down. The ones who get thumbs up will be the killvivors - the ones who give free rescues, free hatches, second/third/fourth chances that baby survivors feel entitled to, etc. Basically the killers who just let survivors win every game.
Survivors need less power in the game, not more. Instead of helping them with a thumbs up/thumbs down rating, the post-game chat should be removed and the report form should be removed. From now on, only video evidence of hacking should be accepted as a valid reason for banning someone, everything else is fine or can be patched out. Survivors shouldn't be allowed to talk or rerport after the game because they only use it for abuse.
We don't need a thumb system to find people who disconnect. They do that already. There was a mass banning a while ago because of it. They just generally don't enforce the rule, for whatever reason (because they love cancer players who are killing this game, probably).
The system would be more automated and need no manpower to manage, But then this is why I said only 3 thumbs because then it wouldn't get used just because "jackanory" left me to die or camped me
Four toxic SWF players in a game, you camp one of them and what do the other three do? Report, thumbs down, friend request, insults, rage, forum posts, etc.
hence why I said there would have to be a sizeable amount of mark downs before it happened say 30 or 50 - you'd have to be pretty ######### to get that many surely?
Not seeing I disagree dad are low priority queue system would be good it would keep hackers lag switches and general toxic people in there own little bubble until they earn their way back.
But currently with how entitled the community is to expect a person to play a specific way I can very easily see the system being abused for example
You escaped and don't try to save me off hook report.
The exit Gates were open and right there in walking distance and you dare to secure your kill report.
You're actually a good teammate and saved other survivors with flashlight save and body blocking report.
Honestly I could go on but you can get the point -
This is something I really want currently having standard skill checks on her bear traps makes it really easy to deal with. There's literally no pressure or fear when you have one on unless you're in a big map with the boxes spread out.ChesterTheMolester said:
-Jigsaw Boxes now use similar skillchecks to Doctors Snap out of it.
It would also make her add-ons that affect skill checks like interlocking razors, razor wire and workshop Grease a lot more useful though I think the latter two should make skill checks more difficult rather than making them more frequent.
however if you're going to increase any speed she has I would say just increase her crouching speed 100% movement speed whilst crouching would be ideal but I don't know if that's me over shooting. -
Yeah sadly, even though I know Freddy and Wraith are probably the next on the buff table after Hag and Trapper after you get them out the way I would really like to see some TLC go to Amanda her add-ons and some aspects of her power on both on RBT and the crouch/ambush need itSomeissues said:Her addons are still really bad honestly
and only 1 common addon to increase her crouch related stuff

You messing the point without intervention you're not meant to get off The Killers shoulder. The only time you get off The Killers shoulder without any intervention as you've stated previously is if you go into a location that you know the killer can't get you to a hook in time.Cecaelia said:And it doesn't need to be. Wiggling just has to be useful which it currently isn't. Plus hooking someone in the basement all the way across the map you can already do. (I do it on Huntress cause she doesn't have any perks besides AGI, IG, DL and BS) but that doesn't mean I always run people to the basement because taking someone to the basement takes time. Do I wanna waste a minute dragging someone from across the map to the basement or do I just wanna take them to the nearest hook and start searching for someone else?
If they removed the wiggle mechanic all together the results would still be the same imo. People will still use the closest hook because it saves time, and time is money for killers. No one drags people to the basement unless they can afford to lose said time, and unless you're packing ruin, than, pop, or any other gen regression/slowing build you really don't have time.
And that's still faster than a survivor running.
Nine times out of ten being picked up by the killer without intervention is meant to result in a hook.
You don't think the wiggle mechanic is useful then don't wiggle I'm pretty sure no-one is going to complain if you don't. -
The wiggle mechanic was never intended for you to constantly keep getting off The Killers shoulder it's main implementation was to stop the killer from dragging you across map all the way to the basement.Cecaelia said:Never?
Last time I checked hooks are right on top of each other most of the time so I don't believe they will have problems hooking people unless the survivor strategically went down somewhere where Boil Over would prove useful. Plus right now, the wiggle mechanic is almost useless and really only shines when there's a DS involved. Maybe one out of every 40 games I see someone escape the killers grasp without the other survivors body blocking and/or DS simply due to the hooks being on top of each other most of the time.
Once you get grabbed without intervention it's meant to result in a hook if you think the wiggle mechanic is useless then remove it and see how many Killers actively just drag you to the basement and then come complain how useless the mechanic is.
Because most of the time if the survivor doesn't wiggle I typically start heading towards the basement in the second they know where they're going they start to wiggle.

I don't play Leatherface too much (or at all) outside of dailies so you're probably right.IronWolf115 said:@Aari_Piggy66 said:

I think Huntress just needs to be less loopable overall, rather than optional buffs.
How about we buff that that have long overdue buffs Freedy and Wraith then we go to the mid-tier characters who needs some buff love Miss Piggy Bubba and debatably Myers then we could focus on the high tier killers who can hold their own when all the other Killers are in a reliable place where they can hold their own as well.
TBH, I actually would put Leatherface among the Frddy and Wraith level of attention. He's an awful killer

With perk like deja vu and detective's hunch it's a lot easier to avoid the three gen strat and spread the gen across the map.Buily09 said:@Aari_Piggy66 said:
Or just remove or increase the time limitRemove = no, that would be way OP, you could just camp 3 games all game. Imagine Doctor with some add-ons + this perk... nope
Time limit = at least 30s, but I still feel this perk needs some more love than just seeing generators for few seconds

So I don't think it would be to op to remove it plus stating it would be op on Doctor would be like stating bbq is to op because of Billy or myc is too op on nurse.
One killer's benefit with a perk should mean handicapping for the others -
Or just remove or increase the time limit
-
Honestly with new implications like the new Sloppy Butcher and the new Save The Best For Last if survivors want to give you free stacks and give themselves the mangled status then that's more beneficial.
-
Firstly make your choice is nowhere near that common honestly when I play survivor I'm more worried about encountering thanatophobia when someone gets hit or Devour hope than I ever am of encountering make your choice.Wolf74 said:@Aari_Piggy66 said:
Sorry but the survivor should be able to tell if they have make your choice activated. in fact that's one of the best things about make your choice other than the instadown it makes people playing credibly passively.
I've had people and Both survivor and killer side that have refused to do anything other than hide or sneak around until the time has gone especially considering that means there's one less person working on generators for them in one minute and like it or not it's fair to let the survivors know so they can plan accordingly.
if you were just talking about something like no one escapes death devour hope or Michael I would completely agree with you as it doesn't take a genius to know notice.
And I disagree. The exposed notification should completely go away.
If you find it a good thing that people play "scared" until their timer runs out, imagine ALL survivor playing "scared" after an unhook, because they have MYC to expect.
Secondly trust me a flashing symbol is a lot more of a fear inducer than the potential that are relatively average perk is equipped.
Lastly once again counterplay is a thing that's needed yet I personally don't agree with every notification that the survivors get for example huntress lullaby doesn't need a notification personally I feel like the same thing goes for Thanatophobia but that's just me because those are things can be noticed without putting yourself in danger but exposure is a very dangerous status and there needs to be some counterplay around it which I don't get why you're so against it because the counter play for make your choice tends the benefit the killer more than anything else. -
As survivors you're meant to work as a team but you seem to be quick to devalue your teammates when they're doing badly but if you barely helped contribute to the escape and your team practically carried you there I doubt you will ever point at the hook and say well killer that I don't deserve to live my teammates are the ones that did a good job I didn't really help that much you would take the escape like any other person would but you better believe if your teammates do crappy you shouldn't be penalised for their mistakes with barbecue and chili you should get hatch because their failure shouldn't impact youdarktrix said:People need to stop assuming every survivor they see is part of some elite swf team with comms, we're not. I'd rather take that 1 in 4 chance of being camped while the others got gens done, than that 1 in 3 (or better) chance of getting targeted just because some rng potato I got stuck with in the trial is hooked. Likewise I don't want to penalize the strangers I play with if I happen to be that potato on the hook. Every trial I have to break any rhythm to counter bbq more so than any other perk in existence and that gets old.
Stops camping? No, it justifies it if the killer doesn't see all auras they assume someone is close by and will camp/patrol even harder, or if they do see all auras. they get an idea if their hook is safe for awhile and about when they should wander back in time to greet the unhook. Basically what I hear when people say camping will happen more if bbq wasn't around, is that most killers are just bad at the job.
tl;dr The big beef I have with bbq is it penalizes me for someone else's fail.
