Not really the correct place for this question but to answer it anyway.
There are two types of farming
1) hook farming this is when a survivor unhook another survivor in front of the killer it doesn't matter whether they rushed the hook or decide to unhook during a chase.
Essentially it means that the person who got unhooked is super likely to get to tunnel in which case you can't really blame the killer because you basically handed them a free kill.
Small disclaimer just because you used borrowed time doesn't mean it wasn't farming usually without an exit strategy borrow time only really saves your safe hook rescue.
2) general farming is usually when survivors in killers work together to get as much bloodpoints as possible, complete archives challenges or dailies.
Some people in the community frown upon it because they want to play the game normally. the act itself is not bannable as long as you don't actively work to kill people who don't want to farm.
For example Nea doesn't want to farm but Meg keeps unhooking her in front of Trapper who downs her immediately and put her back on her until she dies that is bannable.
Also you typically get an answer a lot quicker if you do it in general. Lore tends the only really be used by people who want to talk about lore which often means there's not much traffic here

you're not a developer so don't say what you can't back up either. :)
and yeah, the legion has different genders and they have different voices
The Legion was said with a female voice and a male voice at base.
If you noticed Susie and Joey don't have their own voice actors it's either you have female Legion voice or male Legion voice there's no in-between.
It doesn't go
Frank's voice
Joey's voice
Susie's voice
Julie's voice
It's
Female and Male

Well , how is it anyone's fault but the buyer's that they spend 300$ on a cosmetic?
In my opinion the devs just made a bigger mess by giving everyone who cosmetics because people lost cosmetics that they had earned in previous events (David's untamed donkey jacket etc) and had to contact support to get those back. It really wasn't any of their fault that some people sold those for high prices.
People lost their those cosmetics before this even happened. It was added to the the bundle that they were going to give to everyone to help out with the whole problem of everyone losing it but because they found a workaround they decided not to do that
-
At least here on consoles the killer with the quickest drop rate in popularity after the release was clown it lasted about a day or two and everyone just dropped him then clown became super rare

Or even have a delay to him seeing where they spawn. Doesn't Plague have a brief pause after someone cleanses to see which pool it was? Or am I mistaken.
That's usually because shows plague where to get corrupt Purge pyramid head doesn't really need to go by the cage if you've manages to find it on his own that's fine but outside of that he doesn't need to to bull horn rush to the area
-
Honestly the only thing that really needs to be done to pyramid head is make it so he can't see the cages. This combined with the fact that it teleports halfway across the map would mean that caging people would be a time Saver but it also has its own risk and benefits

I know lots of you may be angry at the title but if you let me explain.
If I read the lore properly the entity just tried to take Nancy but she called Steve into this mess.
So he just kind of saw what was happening and the entity was like “this guy is cool as well I guess” and just took him with her.
And that’s also why in the character loading screen shes before him. She arrived like 30 seconds before him?
Or am I once again wrong about Dead By Daylight Lore?
The Entity has been shown to take the group of people at different times.
Look at the Legion for example you know the part of their law that wasn't completely retconed.
The Entity had taken Frank first after he wandered off to go see what was going on and it only took Julie Susie and Joey after they finished digging and went to go look for where Frank went.

Dude I played during that event and I remember how broken it was. I've been playing since 2017 but how is this relevant to the current patch which I am referring to?
The whole notion that the devs are killer sided.
There's simply fixing a lot of the issues that made playing survivor incredibly easy. A lot of these things are better and engaging fixes then make generators take longer.

Only silent sounds are on the ground bugs and the devs are killer sided currently to try and bring killers back after years of being the under powred roll deny that and you are a clown. And you can hear sprint footsteps clear as day don't pull stuff out of your ass to prove a point, there is also no such thing as falling without a sound.
Did you know this is not the first time that sound issues have affected Killers severely.
Let me take you back in time a bit did you also know that before the sound bugs was so prevalent and severe that it changed the meta for a while.
Bloodhound or stridor became meta and mandatory.
Iron will was useless.
Wraith rose up the killer ranks
Why you ask well let Volfa explain
Scratch marks was so bugs and horrible that calling them a detrimental tracking source to The Killers would be incredibly generous.
Injured sounds were so bugged that every survivor including the really loud ones had built in iron will.
Footsteps was so bugged that a survivor could tap dance away from you and you still wouldn't know which direction they went.
Wraith became some what meta in this period simply because at this time he had bloodhound in his base kit.
Let's go back to a small lunar New Year event known as the Howling grounds.
During this update a small balance change was made and intentional one by the way not a bug this change was that that you were able to get a grasp rescue at any stage in the animation.
82 votes and 189 comments so far on RedditTo explain it better you could flashlight blind or pallets done the Killer at any stage during their pick up animation and the killer would drop the survivor doesn't matter if the killer was just bending down or had them on their shoulders. But Wait there's more.... after getting your blind or pallets stun the killer would be forced to complete the entire pick up animation before dropping the survivor
819 votes and 378 comments so far on RedditThis change was so ridiculous that even the most toxic survivor player in the community at the time (Ochido) was calling it out and saying it should be reverted.
Are we seeing a lot of back-to-back killer changes that are beneficial to killer of course we are, killers have been in such a position where the game was unnecessarily stressful for them.

The game doesn't explain anywhere that non legendary cosmetics are locked outside of that symbol. And the symbol itself isn't exactly easy to see to start with. The devs didn't even explain, that I can recall, that there would be locked cosmetic sets outside of being a legendary.
Cheryl can't even put on a pair of PANTS without them being locked to a full set. It isn't any better for PH either.
Legendary cosmetics were always marketed at something that would change the character you are including model and animations.
It would make no sense that something like that could be mixed and matched.
I find it really wanted that people would come to the conclusion that you can mix and match them.
However Cheryl's green cosmetics and debatably her purple should not be locked. They have the same character model and the same character animations it makes no sense as to why they can't be customised outside of Konami says no
-
Honestly I still hold the opinion that the only cosmetics that should be locked to a complete set of all legendaries because they change your character.
It wouldn't make sense to have the head or the body of a specific character mixed with another character.
It will be weird having Lisa's body and proportions randomly with Cheryl's head on top which would make no sense.
The only other one you could probably make an argument for his maybe Legion because they would have to design how they would look just wearing the mascot outfit without the head which could run into some issues especially with a licensed product. Robbie the Rabbit Head could be added without too much of a problem but it's mainly the torso that would create the issues.
Basically any cosmetic besides legendaries shouldn't be locked legion"s Robbie the rabbit being the only debatable exception.
-
Are you surprised you can't make the Legendary skins with other skins.
Legendary Skins completely change your character it would make no sense for you to have Lisa's head on Cheryl's body.
However if you're talking about Cheryl's green cosmetic I have absolutely no idea why they are linked and I find it incredibly stupid
-
This is how Hatch used to work before the endgame collapse change
The rule was you always have to complete one more gen then however many survivors are remaining in the match.
This meant for the hatch to spawn for last survivor they had to be 2 gens completed
If there were 2 survivors you had to do 3 generators
3 survivors you had to do 4 generators
Lastly for 4 survivors every generator had to be completed

Killer
Plauge: it doesn't matter whether I'm playing Min or Yui and it's probably not going to matter when I'm playing Cheryl I hate the sound of the survivors puking it's annoying as hell.
If I don't want a super buff the plague I'm stuck listening to for most if not all all of the game. that is usually a reason why when the last gen is popped or when we entered the clear stalemate I'm usually the first person who cleanses
Survivor:
Claudette: ever since Ochido (yeah even now) specific type of Claudette player who goes out of their way to be toxic without realising their favourite YouTuber in question usually goes up against the baby killers and most if not all of their stuff doesn't work against killers who at least moderately know what they're doing.
It's annoying as a fellow survivor because these people usually get down incredibly quickly. It's annoying as a killer that you guys honestly think I'm stupid enough to fall for the crouched by the locker in killer shack strategy. You insulted my intelligence by attempting it and you insulted your own intelligence by thinking it would work.
Nancy: I just hate Nancy as a character in Stranger things doesn't really matter what season she is portrayed in she always manages to be the worst character in that season. Makes me really wish we got Robin instead also any time I encounter a Nancy I usually put on a Mori just so I can at least get some justice for Barb.
Meg: the amount of Meg heads I have encountered as a survivor even at red ranks is absolutely ridiculous.
Gets on gen with you blows it up immediately runs away. ( which is super annoying because I normally run a lone wolf build so I usually have technician so not only did you screw over my perk you screwed me over as well)
The survivor most guilty of walking to the hook when you're about to hit second stage instead of just running to save you
She is also the survivor that has collectively farmed me the most then proceeded to blame the killer for tunneling if I asked them why they farmed me

OK. I like that you assume that I'm not aware of that. Lol. But anyway, it's different when corporate pandering happens with minority groups. In the case of gay people: For those that are anti-gay, gays through media will often be the only gay people they knowingly have "access to" (There's a better way to phrase that, but I just woke up). If these are flaming stereotypes, which in media right now is like 99% of the cases, it paints the picture that all gay people are like that and kinda solidifies their anti-gay beliefs.
And those people don't represent me, either.
You haven't seen how it's been written take your time to relax honestly it's literally as easy as having a line in the tome as simple as they did with David's
"His ex has moved on and she doesn't want to see his face. Something about being a sh*thead."
you could literally change she to he and you have confirmation that David is gay or at least bi.
It is that unbelievably simple that's all they have to do.
Mention a past/current relationship, say they had/have a crush on the specific person of the same gender
Actually at this stage I'm convinced that most people think they are going to write the story like this.
"Min was a lesbian she decided to go see her lesbian girlfriend for a lesbian party where they do lesbian things with other lesbian because lesbian lesbian lesbian lesbian"
Behaviour may not be the best at writing backstory dear god it just look at the retcon mess they did with Legion.
But as long as they keep it quick and easy it should be fine the top secret to adding in LGBT relationship that doesn't feel token is simply write it like a straight relationship we're not a different species the only thing that's going to be different from how you write a straight relationship is that there's going to be LGBT elements in it. ( Mention a past/current relationship, say they had/have a crush on the specific person of the same gender)

Until BHVR adds a gay survivor who's literally a walking stereotype. And it doesn't change the fact that it's corporate pandering.
Corporations pander to everybody.
It's where the whole sex sells phrase comes from.
No Michael Bay totally showed off Megan Fox because it was important to the plot it wasn't just to get horny teenagers into the seats.
In horror films there's always goes to strip and jiggle about but that is totally because of the price not just because it gets money.
Have you ever noticed generic shooter covers box art in video games words where is the lone soldier standing with a Wasteland in the background. That's dependent to the target demographic because they found it cool.
Sorry to drop this bombshell on you but anytime a company appeals to their target demographic it's pandering

Huntress' lore states that she used to to kidnap little girls that she found tied them up so she can be that mother but sadly they eventually died to sickness and poor conditions which kind of just make the huntress more crazy.
she discovered her new favourite prey: humans. Unlucky souls who strayed into her territory were slaughtered like any other animal. She liked to collect their tools and colourful garments and especially toys when there were little ones. But she could never bring herself to kill the little girls.
Girls she would take back to her house, deep in the woods. They were precious, and looking at them woke up something deep in her heart. She craved the closeness of a loved one, a child of her own. Among the pillaged wooden toys, dolls and story books she couldn't read, the girls would be tied by the neck with a rough and chafing rope fastened firmly to the wall. She couldn't let them wander off, or they would surely die outside.
Every time, the girls would waste away and die of cold or starvation or sickness. Every time, it plunged Anna deeper into pain and sorrow and madness. She was compelled to try again, and started raiding the nearest villages to slaughter families and kidnap their daughters. She wore one of the animal masks her mother crafted for her so many years earlier to try to calm the frightened children.
The extract from her backstory

I'm not sorry I don't follow the mainstream opinion. Forcing diversity into everything creates two dimensional characters and, at the end of the day, is just corporate pandering.
Dude you act like Dead by daylight characters are super complex deeply layered character studies and only the inclusion of the LGBT element would make character studies and only the inclusion of the LGBT element would make them two dimensional.
Meg's character can literally be summarised as girl likes Sports and her mum. Literally adding that she used to have a girlfriend doesn't make her any less complex than she already is because honestly there is no way you can get less than that

Bisexuality is not rare, of LGBT it is the larger of all the groups. Majority of people who identify as LGBT consider them, selves bisexual. True homosexuals and lesbians are more rare.
There are also studies that show all humans are bisexual, but I wont go there.
The problem is a lot of people essentially treat bisexuality as a fork in the road.
The second you enter relationship or even if you just have a sexual encounter with somebody automatically now you've chosen the path of gay or straight.
Also people who are bisexual tend to get flack from both ends of the community we're not trusted by people in the LGBT community because for some stupid reason people assume that we are going to switch to hetero relationships when they want a family or something and people who aren't in the LGBT community it's usually just the same sigma of not wanting to be with somebody who's been with the same sex. ( which in itself isn't a problem but it is still annoying)

I hope they make someone bisexual just to show that they acknowledge our existence. To this day, only one person I've spoken with didn't automatically assume I was gay when I mentioned I had a boyfriend. I get it, bisexuality is rare, but a simple "Or are you bisexual?", even as an afterthought, would really be appreciated.
Honestly that's the one annoying thing about being bisexual. Either we don't exist period or the second we get into a relationship that apparently removes our identity we're now either gay or straight

In a knee-jerk reaction to the broken state in which he was released, the devs over-corrected for Legion. Instead of tweaking a couple things here or there to balance him, they nerfed him in multiple ways that left him hobbled and just because he's limping at 4.6 m/s doesn't mean it's not limping.
The stun is too long, and whiffing shouldn't take him out of Feral Frenzy, a missed attack cooldown would be more than enough given you're losing time during a power that's already too short if survivors are spread out.
Incredibly sad but true a lot of the things in Legion rework completely overlap each other which is why Legion such a terrible place now.
Moon walk exploit.
To counter this they made deep wounds not go down in The Terror radius ( this still lot of problems until they made it so it doesn't go down when you're running) this change alone pretty much cancelled out the moonwalk exploit at the time
But for some reason they also decided to take away Legion's ability to see blood which seems still incredibly stupid for a non lethal power. This was also to incentivise you to go and get other people rather than tunneling the person who stabbed with frenzy however considering you couldn't moonwalk exploit anymore this was pointless.
The problem with moonwalking was already addressed you didn't have to cripple the tracking capability
Lack of frenzy counterplay.
Frenzy was pretty much very difficult to counter as it was super easy to get lots of reward with very little effort and not much the survivors could do to mitigate it. So the missed swing penalty was introduced so now if a survivor was able to dodge the swing they get rewarded.
4 seconds stun I don't need to go over this post goes through it enough
However they then also added the fact that the bar had to be fully charged up for you too to use frenzy again which would have been perfectly fine if they didn't keep the problem of hitting a survivor outside of frenzy and has a penalty to your frenzy meter.
One or two of these by themselves wouldn't have been a problem however all four of them combined gave Legion a lot of punishment and negatives for a non lethal power especially when all the lethal powers at the time didn't have the as severe downsides for example phasing chainsaws. (even now they don't)
Speed
What some reason despite making feral frenzy non lethal they decided to make it a lot slower and remove the add-ons that speed it up changing them with increased killer detection range which in itself is terrible.
To compensate the increased to the duration of feral frenzy and let's be honest the duration increase was pointless you lost so much effective power from the speed reduction that the extra duration did nothing you still had a massive net loss.
Hell even now outside of using play with your food there is no way you can increase movement speed like you could with the add-ons.
Overall:
In the end the legion "rework" I felt like they just got a list of all the complaints and immediately just threw a bunch of nerfs in a pot without thinking how each of them would combined together.
I do at least appreciate that are starting to fix a lot of the overboard nerf smacking they did
Increasing the movement speed in frenzy which was something a lot of legion mains asked for as the duration boost wasn't helping.
They increased the Vault speed which just made vaulting as Legion feel so much better after it was so clunky with the rework
They gave you the ability to see blood and scratch marks when frenzy the ends instead of fatigue ends this was a nice change but honestly I don't get why they don't just add the ability to see scratch marks and blood stains or at least just blood stains in frenzy as it's not that strong
but it's still not enough because they really smashed the Legion with the Nerf sledgehammer

I say that it's pandering because they're slapping the label on them just to please us. If they add a new character that happens to be lgbt then that's cool. But they don't have to shove any characters sexuality down our throats. And I'm simply giving my opinion.
Where was your complaints when they revealed that David had a girlfriend where was your complaints that they were shoving David sexuality down our throat.
Frank and Julie are a couple who are dating it is literally repeatedly referenced in their cosmetics why is that not completely shoving their sexuality down our throats.
I'm sorry but if you think revealing that a character with no established sexuality has a specific sexuality is shutting it down people's throats and then I'm pretty sure you have never encountered any LGBT person in your life because usually they don't randomly loudly proclaim their LGBT the second you meet them.
Why is it when the sexuality might be an LGBT one is it shoving it down our throat but when it's straight no one cares
-

Just saying that I don't want them to add to already existing characters because that's stupid and pandering. If they add new gay/ trans or bi characters I don't really care. Sexuality doesn't matter in a game like dbd and that's the bottom line. It may be nice for some people to know, but it has no effect on gameplay.
How is it stupid if they decided to add it to an existing character.
As for pandering for the love of God everything panders to everybody when anything tries to appeal to it's target demographic it's pandering.
Besides the the most likely answer of I wouldn't like it what will be ruined or lost if they decide to make Min lesbian, Joey gay or Kate bi.
Lastly if sexuality doesn't matter and is the bottom line why do you care if they added to an existing character why do you care if they add it in general
-
I personally think it should stay as a lone wolf perk only affect the person using it that's the one thing I really like about it but that's me.
I don't think every survivor perk has to have a universal effect on the survivors around you
-
Feng Min: The story of one's own drive to be the best and prove her wrong were basically lead to her own destruction. The saddest part is despite her estranging herself from her family she still considered them relevant enough that she was concerned that they would consider her a failure if she messed up with her gaming career.
Spirit: Honestly I love the idea that the entity not only twists people even before it gets its grasp on them but it shows off of just have vastly intelligent The Entity can be. Especially considering it was able to switch it's focus when it saw more potential in Rin.

Man, you people are blind to the issue.
Because that's what DEFINES THEM, from the beginning. It's who they are, it's what they've been, it's what people have been attached to since release.
And NOW, 4 years later, they're going to announce someone's sexuality. For what purpose? They made an entire disingenuous post on Twitter telling the world of their great deed to our community when they could have just done it. Just DO IT.
Imagine me making a YouTube video of my 10 Grand donation to LA Homeless shelters, or a Tweet post about it.
There's nothing genuine about it.
Blind to the issue at hand
David having an ex-girlfriend was released with his archives it was literally added later again where was your complaint.
The archives is an area where they can actually establish a lot more backstory to characters this might pop up just like with David so why is it a problem when it's Lgbt.
Even if it was just a pandering move to get a brownie points why does it matter to you so much that you have to try to lobby against it. Meg being revealed to be bisexual effects nothing about anything that she used to represent the same way it didn't change anything with David.
If a creator of a story once to describe new avenues of that story they should be allowed to you don't have to bundle everything the second a character is revealed. That's not how character development or character exploration works.
As for your other point if you make the video or a tweet about it who the hell cares you donated a lot of money to help people if you want a stroke your own ego about it that's your own problem but she's still did a good thing.
In fact that you use your example that's like you making a video and someone immediately saying no take the money away from homeless because it was not done genuinely.
Jeez I will state this again and I'm getting tired of repeating it adding LGBT representation is such a non-issue that you actively have to try to find something wrong with it and most people who try to make arguments about it end up failing miserably.
There is literally two complaints that I could see being possibly valid for a reason not to add this.
1) Token character: literally the LGBT person they add or decide to reveal will just become a token and nothing else. This my dear is a argument you give after the fact not before it.
You have no idea how they will write the character whether it's revealing about an existing character on the archives or adding it to a new character. So calling that it's going to be a token is a little bit far-fetched when you haven't even seen them write it. Now if they do write it as a token character then bring up the point however stating that it could possibly be a token so it shouldn't be added is stupid.
2) Character retcon: this is my favourite one because it proves most people who use the word have no idea what Retcon means.
Besides the characters I've listed in my previous comment no one has had any established romantic or sexual relationship considering nothing about them is established on that front revealing it it is not a retcon.
If Feng Min has never been described as dating anybody so revealing her as a lesbian changes nothing.
However to stir the pot little even if they decided to use some of the characters I listed above as being in straight relationships that still wouldn't be a retcon because bisexuality exists.
It will only be a retcon if the character in question has been defined as having no interest in a romantic or sexual LGBT relationship. Then it was revealed that they had one all along

Homophobic?
You think wanting to keep characters the same, untouched, because it clearly doesn't belong in this game is homophobic?
People have related to these characters for years and imagine changing them 4 years later.
Do you not understand? Or is your White Knighting, PC attitude getting in the way of also understanding that "The Other Side" also exists and have valid complaints.
I Love "inclusion" and diversity, because then you can surround yourself with nothing but people who only agree with you while pushing away those that don't.
Very "inclusive" if you ask me.
You say it doesn't belong in the game but it always has been part of the game that was the point of their statement they said they wouldn't reveal sexuality because they wanted people to have their own thoughts about the character however when they were revealing story elements they put characters under certain sexualities which invalidated their statement.
Frank and Julie are in a straight relationship I didn't see you massively complaining about how that didn't belong in the game.
Nurse was in a straight relationship and is a widow after her husband died once again didn't see you massive we complain in fact she's paired together with Wraith another straight relationship again and no complaints from you about how it doesn't belong
Ace's has some cosmetics that describes him as a ladies man once again no massive complaints
David was revealed to have an ex-girlfriend again where was the complaints that was unnecessary
Oni has as a wife and Child putting him in a straight relationship where was the complaint this was unnecessary when it was revealed. It's also not necessary as Oni could have sibling could simply be where the ancestry of spirit came from this would keep the characters themselves unlabelled and still fit in with the story.
Can you see why people have a problem when it's only win LGBT relationships or characters are brought up that apparently it doesn't fit into the game or unnecessary inclusion but whenever it's something straight no one gives a damn.

I agree with you, but nobody complained about anything like that. Seem @EvilJoshy was speaking hypothetically. At least that's what I gather from his response to me asking who said that.
The thing that annoys me is that adding LGBT characters to the game or revealing some of the characters have been LGBT is literally such a non-issue that you actively have to try to go out of your way to find a problem with it.
Most of the people who are trying to are failing miserably.
1) People saying the gameplay is all that should matter and all of this is unimportant completely missed the fact that if it's so unimportant to you why do you care just continue playing like you normally do.
2) People who are saying it shouldn't be in a horror game about killing or torture completely missed the fact that relationships have been a staple of most franchises. For example Silent hill 2 literally has you looking for your dead wife confirming a straight relationship in a horror
3) Some people have used the word retcon without actually knowing what the hell it means. Seeming to fail at grasping that if nothing is established yet ( for example Min's sexuality) establishing it is not a retcon.
Throughout all the threads I've seen and all the Twitter posts I have yet to see one person make a reasonable argument as to why it shouldn't be included.

In DBD or outside DBD, my point still stands. If you want someone in here to represent a particular group you need to also accept that character will be
Hit with a machete
Hit by a chainsaw
Mauled by a blunt object
Impaled by a hook
Have a RBT on their head
Get sent to a cage
Have a finger chopped off
ect
If anyone complains about something like that their complaint is so idiotic it's usually not worth listening to.

Welcoming all hot takes, unpopular opinions, and tough questions. What killer do you think has the most intriguing lore? My pick is Kate, I think it is very interesting how she got caught from the clown.
Kate never interacted with the clown outside of the Entity's realm

Yep, I'm sure nobody will flood the forums making a big deal of the first LGBTQ character in the game. I'm sure it will be no big deal. This type of crap is just not needed. I don't mean LGBTQ on its own. I mean sexuality in a horror game. A horror movie, sure, there is almost always a gratuitously inserted sex scene, but this is not a movie. It is ready, set, go, DIE! When you start adding in sexuality or politics, you drown out everything else. The outside attention will not be good for the game. They can't say it is for story, because their stories are quite shallow already; see my mention of a middle school detention student being able to handle the writing in this game.
I just don't want to see DBD become the three-ring-circus of politics and sexual identity that so many other games/entertainment have become where that is what defines a character. This game should have zero of either. Run, slash, hook, sacrifice...repeat.
Then continue doing that a characters sexuality being revealed shouldn't stop you from just slashing hooking and continuing.
It's revealed that David had a girlfriend did that completely ruin your immersion against fighting him if not what when why is it an issue.
Frank and Julie are canonical dating does it ruin your immersion when you're up against the legion and it happens to be frank or Julie
The nurse is a widower and her husband Andrew was killed does this ruin your emotion when you go up against a nurse
Lots of Aces cosmetics reveal him to be a ladies man does this completely ruin your immersion
If the answer to all above is no then why the hell does a character being gay lesbian bisexual or trend in any way shape or form ruin your immersion.
When straight relationship so used everyone typically just stays quiet but the a characters mentioned as an LGBT member even if it's just a small line of text in a large lore section apparently now it's pushing an agenda and it's not meant to be in horror games.
Again where was this irritation Frank and Julie were confirmed to be dating where was this irritation when they said David had a girlfriend.
I say this and I'll say it to anyone who brings up this type of argument if you don't care about a characters sexuality and you just want to play the game ignore it and just continue playing the game if you are still making a massive fuss and think about it then guess what.
We're not stupid it's pretty obvious that you care

My other first name (confusing story don't feel like explaining it) is Volf
My favourite pokemon is Oshawott so I simply put them together then got Volfawott and it has been my online alias for most things for a while now

OW lore has always been written badly- their old lead writer retconned lore more often than a Bethesda game getting new bugs.
About this specifically? I understood the intent behind it, but it was still badly written. It shouldn't be a big deal, but (as you said) people made it a big deal, and Ana's story was put on the back burner. Chu (the writer) should have seen that coming, but like the rest of the lore it was done badly.
It could put on the back burner because people got so Up In Arms that LGBT was being added that they didn't even take the time to think.
Hell when watching a large majority of the videos that were complaining about it unnecessary inclusion and how it was forced a good 80% of them were just reading off news articles on things like kotaku.
None of which actually took the time to read the comic. They saw a clickbait line and immediately decided to jump into a fury.
It is not the creators fault that the community is a bunch of morons. For example there was someone complaining on Twitter about how he was going to be expected to act gay if he cosplayed as soldier.
Which I thought was the stupidest thing ever because firstly you don't have to 100% act like the character and secondly it's not like soldier in any way or shape or form acts a stereotypically gay.
That is just an example of what I mean when I say a lot of people see LGBT included and immediately shut off their brain then enter rant mode.

First, who is actually paying attention to the backstory of the meat bags we hang on hooks? I know the generic crap, like Claudette liked plants and chemistry, Jake was living in the woods, I think Feng was a gamer. You either like their aesthetics or you did not. I mostly play killer and could not care less if it was a stick figure as long as the power fits my play style.
This is a survivor horror game, not an RPG. Give my characters back stories in a story-driven game. I won't care if they are straight, gay or somewhere undiscovered in their sexuality if the character is well written. This is NOT a story-driven game though. Leave sexuality and politics out of it and lets focus on fixing the broken aspects of the game instead. Don't dedicate those little brain cells into figuring out if Meg is hot on Feng or David King. Who cares?! We just want to hit them with the Doc's spiked rod and throw them on a hook, no matter what.
The world is going insane....
I think it's hilarious that you think that people who are in charge of designing and creating lore that people who are coating bugs it's about a stupid as the cosmetic argument.
The art and design team and the 3D model team have no bearing on how the Legion gameplay works.
That's like going into a law firm and asking the cleaner to help you with your Murder Trial because they happen to work in the same building.
Also if you care so little about what sexual interests of survivors or killers have why is it factor to you.
I have a friend who doesn't give two craps about when the archives came out he only did it for bloodpoints outside of that he didn't even go go and actually read or listen to the tomes once why because the lore doesn't bother him.
It's funny because people who actually just care about the gameplay and don't care about anything else will just continue to play the game and not care about whatever lore is brought up about the characters people who do care like you will make a massive stink about it.

Listen....I understand everyone in the LGBT community wants some sorta "Representation" and "Inclusive" in media but this is not the way to do it....
I don't care for a characters race/sexuality whatsoever because it has nothing to do with the gameplay, when I play a video game I play it for the game not just the character.
Listen I support the LGBT Community but this is pandering this also feels like a "Promotional" agenda and for what? the original "Make them how you see" was the best way because it didn't matter canon or not about how fanfic and shipping's were.
This isn't a "RPG" like Fable or Sims this is a Horror themed video game where survival are the goal/motives and not about their "Sexuality"
Now that I am reading from Facebook/Twitter...the LGBT is being toxic toward those who don't agree with their views (opinions) which is why I think leaving them to the "Fans" was the best idea that or allowing "LGBT" Cosmetics would have benefited perfectly for the community but retconning or adding new lore just to pander doesnt sit or feel right to me and others who are LGBT or are supporting the LGBT.
this is just my two cents how does everyone else feel?
Note: Let's be civil and not toxic and attack others known Opinions.
Note 2: Before someone tries to manipulate my statements, I'm stating I am fine with New Original characters getting their "I am [Insert Sexuality]" what I am against is retconning the existing characters, if its someone new wicked.
Even if they added to an existing character you can't really retcon something that has never been established.
A lot of people really use the word of retcon without knowing what the hell it means
If a character was never given an established treat or theme establishing that treat or theme is not retcon even if it goes against your head cannon of what the characters meant to be.
Let's use the sexuality argument as it's what the topic is about
Let's Feng Min is revealed to be a Lesbian now her sexuality has never been stated up until this point so adding a bit of information is not a retcon.
Now characters like David, Nurse, Julie, Ace and Frank have all been established to be interested in the opposite sex or have confirmed relationships with the opposite sex to say that these guys are homosexual would be a retcon now you could write them as bisexual instead ( something people tend to forget exists) which wouldn't be a retcon as they haven't had any established aversion to a relationship with the same sex.
If you want a retcon just look through the legions archives in comparison to their backstory and original theme

As I've learned from the overwatch community, when you ship characters outside their non straight sexuality you get accused of being homophobic (despite being gay myself) plus I wanna relate to someone in the game and currently Feng Min is the one I relate to the most and thats one great thing about making everyones sexuality ambiguous is that everyone can find a character they relate too but if they started adding canon sexualities you take out a lot of ships and relateability.
I main Min because she's the character I related to the most.
I'm not the same race as her but I'm still able to relate to a lot of the events that have happened in her life.
If her being revealed to be bisexual or a lesbian makes it completely difficult for you to relate to her than relation with superficial.
As for the overwatch community thing you should take what those people say as seriously as you would any narrow minded person.
The shipping community has been shipping people outside of their actual sexual orientation for years honestly I don't care whether you decide to ship them in a LGBT method or a straight method as long as you're happy with your own headcanon then more to you.
It doesn't matter if you want to ship an LGBT character in a straight relationship or a straight character in an LGBT relationship no one has the right to tell how you decide to depict the character in your own context.

Whoever makes the most money will be gay whoever makes the least will be straight. This isn't nothing more than taking advantage of us.
Whether they do it out a desire for money or not as long as they handle the story writing correctly I have no problem.
It doesn't take more than adding in her girlfriend or his boyfriend

I wouldn't mind an LGBT+ character, but not to the point where its their defining feature. They're a whole new character and person, not a stand for LGBT+ rights.
Also Soldier's 'coming out' was very controversial. It was just thrown into the community's face like that- I'm not saying there should be hints or anything like that to say whether or not a character is/isn't LGBT, but the manner in which it was done was sloppy and overrode Ana's story, the point/focus at the time. The lead writer was godawful...
The writing itself no it was bad didn't really over write on ana's story.
As I said in a previous comment that section where it got revealed was more to highlight just how obsessive and single-minded soldier can be when he's set on something in this case it was his work in overwatch to the point where he realised he couldn't give his significant other a meaningful relationship.
It's being another man was completely inconsequential to the actual section it could have been Vanessa or Vincent and it wouldn't have actually changed the point of it .
However what ended up happening was a bunch of news sites made articles and then the community flipped their lid.
Complaining about how they made such a big deal of in and it shouldn't have been that relevant when the only people making a big deal out of it was the news articles ( who were doing it for clicks and views not because they actually cared) and the community itself

I mean, if I remember correctly people were pretty pissed at Soldier because Blizzard basically gave no hints and was just like "lol look we have a gay".
I'm all for it, but hopefully they do it right.
Also, was a new thread needed to add to the 23 we already have?
I mean there were no hints for Tracer.
In fact soldier actually had more hints about hidden than tracer it about her.
I'm not gonna lie I really like how they revealed it they just kind of mentioned he was in a relationship with a guy call the Vincent and just kind of left it as that. The main purpose of that section was more to illustrate how soldier was too committed and obsessed with his work to actually give someone a proper invested relationship.
It was maybe a to two-line detour of the entire comic that it came out with in fact he described it so subtly that it went over some people's heads until someone asked for clarification to which they don't confirm he was in fact gay.

I've the same reason for Yui, I'd love to learn about her legacy and what she did to be admired so much to the point where she had followers who donned pink in her honor
About legion, I actually have read all the released lore from the tome yet because I was waiting for it all to be released so I didn't know about that. You can mention it if you want I don't care about spoilers but you don't have to wastr your time with it either since I could literally just go read through them myself either lol
The long and short of it without completely spoiling.
The initial premise of legion was a group of teenagers (Julie, Susie and Joey) being twisted and influenced by a impulsive Mastermind (Frank. Even though let's be honest calling Frank a mastermind even before the archives is a little bit overshooting but I get what they were going for) onto a path of crime and violence realising the like that addictive freedom.
The archives from at least what I have read we're still waiting for the last level of the Tome for the last pages and the cutscene it seems that it's taken a lot of the twisting and Influence from Frank and moved it to Julie

Survivors
Yui - it would be nice to see something like how she managed to form her gang especially considering how close they were to her and as she became an inspiration to all of them
Min- I definitely want more insight into Min's relationship with her family and her fans as well. We already know for the most part she estranged herself from her family outside of holidays but it would be nice to know her general personality was as at least in the entity's realm she's described as very much a lone wolf who only really cares about herself also as stupid as it sounds I do want my headcanon to be confirmed.
Killers.
Honestly the only one I really had for this is legion and we've gotten at least one part of the Legion story it seems like they're going to be doing it off each Legion member so it would be nice to see different examples of Joey and Susie considering we already know a lot about Frank.
However I'm really not fond of the archives for the Legion we currently have it seems that whoever made it did not care to read the actual Legion backstory in the slightest. As it's heavily contradicting points already they only have a couple pages and a cutscene left so let's hope they fix it and don't go further off the retcon deep end.

Great, so a homophobic player can now choose moris and facecamping based on character's sexuality. Really smart thing to do BHVR. Legitimate harassment, pretty good job so far.
You honestly give too much credit to homophobic trolls if you think they're going to memorise which character is on the LGBT spectrum.
I remember a similar thing was said when they revealed soldier to be gay in overwatch it was a hot button topic for about a month before everybody just shut up about it.
The people who actually cared about the story and lore got a nice little bit insight.
The people who just care about the gameplay you just played the game.
The people who are whining about how it ruined the character end up giving up because they know realised no one was listening to them.

Yeah this normally happens because the bear traps put survivors into the injured state this is why hitting them whilst they're in it automatically puts them in the dying state and remove them from the bear trap in question.
MoM give them a point of Endurance so when you hit them it doesn't put them into the dying state because of the Endurance but it still removes them from the bear trap this is why they fall down like that.
It's actually very easy to replicate without using the Perk if you use the add-on padded Jaws bear traps won't actually injure the survivor so you'll have to hit them twice to down them. The first hit will throw them to the ground and free them from The Trap and then you could just hit them again to put them into the dying state.

The Entity gets angry at the killers if they don't hook enough survivors.
Maybe because its hungry?
I think about this a lot.
We know that it grows stronger in power if a lot of survivors get sacrificed, but does it weaken if no survivors are sacrificed? Then maybe it would die after a while right?
It's confirmed that The Entity feeds of the hope of survivors no matter what.
Sacrificial hooks is just the most efficient way it does it he gets the most amount of "food" from them.
It still feeds of them whether they bleedout, are moried or die by other means like reverse bear trap or cages.
The Entity most likely just gets annoyed at killers because it's not being fed in the most efficient way
