  • Trapper's head cosmetic is just his mask

Huntress's head cosmetic is just her mask

If you take the time to look, you can see that Pig's head cosmetic is just her mask (her actual head slightly clips into the cosmetic option)

Legion's head cosmetic is just their mask

The point I'm trying to make is that Survivors and Killers are built differently. Ash is the only exception to the rule that Survivor's are made of Head-Body-Legs, with the head and body being separate. If a body cosmetic were to go into the head, that would cause more clipping issues than could be reasonably dealt with without a complete cosmetic overhaul.

Don't expect anything for SURVIVORS just because KILLERS are built differently.

  • Fun

    1. Rin (Spirit)
    2. Susie/Julie (Legion)
    3. Anna (Huntress)
    4. Lisa (Hag)
    5. Amanda (Pig)
    6. Sally (Nurse)
    7. Adiris (Plague)

    Actual effectiveness

    1. Sally
    2. Rin
    3. Anna
    4. Lisa
    5. Susie/Julie
    6. Amanda
    7. Adiris

you might want to replace the legion, as cassettes went out of fashion by the 80's and was quickly replaced by the new invention of CDs. So they would probably came from anywhere past 1982, and not as far as 1963. And as of Lisa Sherwood, it would have to be anywhere after the 1800s since paddle steam boats weren't invented until 1802. My guess would be around 1860's and 1870's as that's the period of reconstruction, as the sign of light bulbs which was invented in 1879. so common sense dictates that Lisa Sherwood was most likely lived in the reconstruction era, and came from New Orleans since that place was widely most religiously acceptable of different religions. add in the fact that it one of the closest cities to a bog that a village of cannibals can live in without getting caught.

Susie's hoodie, in both skins, has 1996 on it. Also, the Photo that sends you to Ormond, their hometown, and has all four of them on it has a description that says "28 August 1996" which further cements their position.

Your information on Lisa is nice... except that, until Adiris came out, Anna was confirmed to be the farthest back in time. So it sadly doesn't work.

  • It's FAR superior to waiting 7 seconds to hit someone, right?

  • Dwight: Agree

Meg: I used to seriously underestimate Quick & Quiet, Adrenaline is great, but, due to Sprint Burst forcing you to walk, I would put Meg in the Good tier.

    Claudette: Agree

Jake: Iron Will is solid. But Calm Spirit and Sabotage do make me agree here.

Nea: Just because Streetwise isn't the best doesn't mean her other two perks aren't powerful. Nea should be Good tier.

Laurie: I have to disagree. Sole Survivor forces you to leave people to die, Object of Obsession tends to cripple you and Decisive Strike is pretty situational. She's just Average.

Ace: He has perks? I fully agree here

Min: Why does everyone hate Technician? It has saved my life so many times. Not that her other perks shouldn't make her average, because Lithe is pretty bad, but still.

David: His only good perk is Dead Hard. He should be barely Average.

    Quentin: Agree

Tapp: Agree, although Stake Out is pretty useful, the other two just don't make up for it.

    Kate: Agree

    Adam: Agree

Jeff: All three of his perks are pretty useful. I'd put him at least in Good.

    Jane: Agree

Ashley: Flip Flop is situational. The only reason he should be here is Mettle of Man, which should be getting reworked soon. I'd put him in Average.

Just my opinions on this chart.

  • There are near infinite amounts of trials going on t any given time in the Entity's realm. I believe that the Entity just chooses one of the Legion for one trial, and the others for different trials. Maybe with a few short breaks in between to regroup.

  • Either Freddy or Doctor for underrated. I main Doctor and had an almost two-week streak of Freddy dailies, so I know just how powerful they can both be in the right hands.

For overrated, definitely Plague. I am still unable to see her being even mid-tier.

  • I was playing Dwight on one of the farm maps. The Killer was running Tier III Ruin, so rather than be unable to do gens, I went looking for the totem. Finally find it after two others have already died (I went for a few saves too, but the totem was my main goal), hiding in a corner by a blue barrel.

I die, Kate ends up escaping. Claims I didn't do anything the entire match.

  • I will agree that they seem focused on quantity over quality. But at the same time, it's the biggest thing that keeps the game alive. The frequent updates keep people here, even if they are absolute garbage (looking at you Demise of the Faithful).

I think they should slow it down a little. Instead of adding new stuff every three months, add them every four months. That would still give us a solid three major updates a year, and still be frequent enough to keep the game interesting, without being too overwhelming.

  • Many people (like me) run Distressing on Herman because he's the only Killer that really benefits from a larger warning system. It gives him more points (which he already gets a lot of, especially Deviousness), expands his Static Field that enables better tracking, and generally causes more panic. You running Calm Spirit is the best thing you could possibly do.

As for the tunnel thing, unless you're good with him, Doctor struggles in chases. My recommendation is to get Decisive Strike, the literal definition of an anti-tunnel perk.

Doctor can be tricky to go against, especially with how varied his add-ons can make him, but he's honestly not that powerful. Even if you don't have Calm Spirit and you scream in the first field, unless he's shocking you directly, the static build-up takes a while. A lot of people use this to their advantage.

  • As a Killer, most of the time I enjoy myself (playing Trapper, Clown and Plague being the sole exceptions). Even though it's mostly the same Survivor load outs, I enjoy the variety I have to deal with them.

I have no friends to play with, and don't just friend random people online, so I'm stuck as a solo survivor. It's pretty boring, until you face the ever rare Doctor or Killer that just doesn't seem to care about winning and more about messing around. Those games can be pretty fun, as rare as they are.

  • I will admit to being guilty of running MoM on Ash when I do play him. Which is... roughly once or twice since I adepted him. He's somewhere around Lvl 15 right now, so I'm nowhere near getting it for anyone else.

I got Ash because I want to support this game, as much as I disagree with a lot that the devs have done. I'll do the same with Ghostface, regardless of how bad his power ends up or what his perks are.

In all honesty, when I get some more perks that actually fit him, I'll likely drop MoM all together.

  • While phasing, listen to your surroundings. Works most of the time, but if that fails, pay attention. You may not be able to see the SURVIVOR, but you can still see that GRASS moving.

Another thing I do a lot is fake phasing. Just stand still. I've had a Claudette walk in front of me and an Ace try to hide in plain view because they believed I was phasing. Doesn't work all the time, obviously, and a lot of Survivors tend to just keep running, but some do tend to be tricky.

Another good tip is to anticipate Survivor movements. See someone run to a pallet? Phase to the other side and slash them. See someone moving to a vault? Meet them on the other side. Suddenly stop being able to move? Un-phase and slash.

She'll take a while to learn, but she is a lot of fun and easily top-tier when you can figure her out.

  • I main Doctor. I think that pretty much says I don't care about winning.

  • Yes, unless the Killer was a poor sport, or one or more Survivors have ticked me off, or I don't stick around for post-game chat. The last of which is very rare.

  • To be fair, Freddy is invisible. Any other Killer and I would have trouble seeing their view, but, unless your lullaby left and they couldn't see grass moving, it's a pretty understandable accusation.

    1. Yes. This is needed. Gives me even more reason to play each individually.
    2. The unmasked images they have shown make Susie look terrifying. Give the faces animation, then maybe, but not when they are static images. Honestly, I like Joey unmasked more (mainly due to the markings around his eyes)
  • Due to my very ineffective way of leveling characters up by only using bloodpoints gained on them, I've been playing Survivor a lot lately. However, most of them (Dwight, Meg, Claudette, Ace and Min being the only exceptions) are still around level 11 or 15, while only two of my Killers (Philip and Adiris) are under level 20 (with Evan, Max, Michael, Herman, Anna, Leatherface, Kenneth, and Amanda all either at or above 30).

Don't know how to correlate that into percentages, but there you go.

  • I was playing Legion (around the second day of their release, so well before the nerfs), and the Survivors had the exit gates open. I also had a Claudette on a hook. I believe it was a David King who saved her. A full health David mind you. I maneuvered around him and hit Claudette down, trying to get at least one kill (I usually let the hooked go, but the gates were literally open and, again, David had full health).

Everyone else left, leaving Claudette to die on the hook. In the chat, she accused me of camping/tunneling (I honestly can't remember which, but neither of which I was doing). She didn't listen to my explanation, and just kept going off about it.

The funny part was that the other Survivors actually sided WITH me on the argument. It was pretty much three our four (can't remember much, but Kate and David were defiantly siding with me) telling her what actually happened.

  • *raises hand* How many do you have?

  • I actually like the mish-mash of powers.

Think about it. Scream was all about taking things from horror movies and redoing them in a new, meta way. It would make sense for Ghostface, who has seen Michael Myers in the movies, to try to copy his ability. And seeing how effective Amanda's crouch is (or not if you're a good Survivor), it would make sense for him to try the same thing. With the new addition of peeking around corners to tie it up in a rather unusual knot.

Would like the correct robe, but hey. You can't win them all.

  • It is ridiculous. Survivors don't need to double pip and escape to get Adept, so why do Killers need to be perfect in literally every way?

  • I play Killer because it isn't the same thing over and over again.

Sure, there is a little variation as Survivor depending on the map and who you're facing, but it's usually the same thing. Work on gens, be chased, add a few being hooked or hook saves thrown in here and there, maybe a few hex totems, rinse and repeat.

Each Killer is different. I don't care about the meta. I just play for the enjoyment of it, and Killers just do that better than Survivors for me due to their differences.

I do understand your stance though.

  • I actually like this. Outside of Frank, we really don't get much for the Legion. Julie went with Frank as a ticket out of Ormond. Joey is impulsive and likes showing off. And Susie is Julie's best friend and shy and naive. That's literally it. So this is a nice extra, less janitor stabby backstory for them.

  • What every one else said, so no clue why I'm answering.

Killers get more bloodpoints than Survivors (usually), so more people play them during events that give you extra bloodpoints.

  • What DemonDaddy said. Also, there are these wonderful things called cylindrical objects, such as trees, that Adiris really struggles with. Granted, not all maps have those, but just stay out of the open when you hear the ding and you shouldn't have that much issue.

If anything, she needs a buff.

  • I failed SO many times getting Ace and Kate.

I actually got Adept David first try due to the Myers I was facing being super nice.

Back to the topic, some of them were massive pains (Ace and Kate) while others went by super easy (David). The difficult ones I enjoyed significantly less, but overall I enjoyed it.

  • Usually it's Claudette and Nea for me.

  • I'm with kaz on this. Cake and pudding depending on what's in it.

  • Depends on the criteria

Appearance: Plague wins with very little competition.

Lore-wise: Clown and Spirit have some of the best lore in the entire game.

Actual gameplay: Doctor. yeah, he's not strong, but I just enjoy him more than pretty much any other Killer. Spirit comes close though.

  • I actually like the passive phasing. It does look really weird seeing it through Kindred, but it really fits her.

I will agree that not having a vaulting animation is stupid, but it still fits with the whole mindgame theme of Rin. Though, if she isn't over within about two seconds, it's obvious she is either a) waiting for you or b) phasing.

  • I would say Ghostface, mostly because I know literally nothing about Pinhead, but at the same time, we have Legion. They could make his power a bit different, but they are essentially the same. Remember Hillbilly and Leatherface?

  • Potentially. I have always found that heavy breathing coming out of Frenzy to be really unusual.

The same could be said about Sally, who the devs have confirmed goes through serious pain while Blinking.

  • Okay Zpro3. I accept this challenge.

Adam: I saw a man today. Something about him commands authority, but at the same time seems to lack experience. Perhaps he has people waiting for him, like some sort of teacher.

Spirit: Yet another fiend has entered these realms. She seems to be able to be in multiple places at once, but still in one location. I can't keep track of her movements, and don't dare get too close. Something is off about her though. I have to wonder if that is sorrow or anger I hear in her moans, as well as whether she is actually supposed to even be here.

Jeff: A large man startled me recently. He seemed like he could snap my neck within seconds, but he was just checking to see if I was okay. I'm wary of this man. He's just too calm in this situation. And that scar on his eye speaks terrors to me. Perhaps I'm just overreacting though.

Legion: Note #1 - I at first believed I found one of my newer companions. Then I saw the mask and knife. I don't know how I lost this... this... teenager, but I suspect he will be back, and fast. Note #2 - I young girl started approaching me from the shadows. I once again made the mistake of assuming it was a new companion, then she stabbed me with her knife. I suspect some relation to the young man from earlier, but what it is I don't dare guess. Note #3 - I have counted four of these teenagers with sinister intentions, though never more than one at a time.

Jane: A very lovely looking lady has shown up out of nowhere. She seems to be someone of great importance, judging by her choice of clothes. Perhaps she was a President somewhere, or just a generally rich woman. However, we were quickly separated.

Plague: These horrors have kept making me sick to my stomach, but never outright vomit. This new monster has finally pushed me to my limit. She speaks in a mysterious language, another first, that one of my more knowledgeable companions seems to believe is an ancient Mesopotamian language. How he would know that, I don't want to know.

Ash: A loudmouthed idiot has stumbled into my constant nightmare. However, I almost feel hopeful with him around, like he was some sort of hero or something. His robotic hand and shotgun holster may be what's doing that, or his constant moaning of not having his chainsaw. Perhaps he was supposed to be here to murder us, but broke free of the Entity's grip.

    Okay... that's all I have.

  • You will be missed here Jonathan. I always liked your deep lore dives. A good portion of us will likely still be here when you return (I hope).

  • If they add proper animations, defiantly. As is though, at least when I was playing Susie, from my perspective it looked like I just slapped it with my (Joey's) knife.

The pressure just isn't enough for me.

  • I actually like these changes... for the most part.

I don't like the lower speed in Frenzy, and I feel that, if you're going to cause a single miss to stop Frenzy, at least lower THAT particular cooldown, and not lose ALL of your frenzy on a normal hit either. Also, not being able to see blood trails is stupid. Scratch marks I can understand, because they aren't focusing on that. Blood trails, I can't understand why you can't see this.

Otherwise, the changes aren't as bad as people are saying. And I was one of those that was against pretty much all of the changes at first.

  • This has been requested so many times.

There are very serious issues with it though. Namely the fact that some Survivors would be seen as meta, and anyone who doesn't play them will be absolutely torn apart by their teammates.

Let's say Claudette has a faster healing speed and Jake has a faster repair speed. Why would you play anyone else when these two have literally all the power. You most likely wouldn't. And if you did, do you realize just how much hate you would get before the game even starts?

Just do what I do. Run DIFFERENT perks for each Survivor based on who they are.

  • A recording of Jigsaw, explaining the game's rules to Amanda. Reminiscing about her past-self hardens her determination.

This is the description of the Video Tape add-on for Amanda. It defiantly says she remembers her past. And her backstory makes her memory of John pretty clear with the line "John always thought one step ahead of everyone else, planned for every eventuality, and he would never give up on her, surely?"

So yeah. The killers have memories too.

  • He's like Nurse to me. Powerful in the right hands, but outright boring to play. Unless I have a daily, I don't play him.

Also, I have legitimate coulrophobia (fear of clowns), so, that might also be a reason no one plays him, since a LOT of people have coulrophobia.

  • Most attractive to me is probably Meg (I have no clue why, but I really like braids). And, at least last I checked, I am a straight male.

If I had to choose a male though, it would have to be Jeff. That beard is beautiful.

  • Appearance wise, she is one of the better Killers. I really want to like her because of it.

But, she just does not feel well thought out. Right now, I'd but her slightly above Clown in my personal ranking, and that isn't saying much, since he's my second least favorite. I might be playing her completely wrong, but her sickness just doesn't seem to do enough. I get that it only makes you Broken for balance reasons, and I can accept that, but that slow down hit her way to hard.

And that point gain. They fixed some things, so this might not be exact anymore, but she has atrocious point gain.

  • Predator - I believe many called this perk useless. Looking at this, I think we can prove them wrong.

Lightweight - There's a difference? If you're currently being chased, that is not going to save you.

  • I don't, but I can understand why people do. Thankfully, I've yet to face a moonwalking Legion, but they have made such an impression on Legion players that everyone assumes that's what all Legion players are. And they are nearly impossible to deal with, if all of the complaints are any indication.

Legion is one of my favorite Killers (I'd say only three or four are ahead of them), but I play them the way I see them. A speedy, chaos-inducing killer that is amazing at getting Brutality points. Moonwalking is bland, uninteresting, and if I was so desperate for kills, I would play Rin or Sally, not Legion.

  • As much as I like Jane, David King is a bare-knuckle fighter who actively gets into fights, while she is nothing more than a TV show host. Maybe she practiced some form of martial arts, but she just doesn't seem like the kind of person to get her hands dirty.

My order of likeliness to win would be: David King, David Tapp, Jeff Johansen, Jane Romero.

  • Dr Herman Carter

I just have the most fun with him. I like fooling with Survivors' heads more than outright killing them. Plus, he is amazing when it comes to getting bloodpoints, especially in the Deviousness category. Also, anti-stealth since not that many people (that I know of) run Calm Spirit. Although Spirit is slowly creeping behind.

    EDIT: put wrong perk in.

  • Depends on the time of day.

A few days ago, I tried playing Michael in the morning and ended up switching to Survivor because it was taking too long.

In the same day, around 7:00 (not stating timezone for obvious reasons), I was getting instant lobbies for a few hours.

  • Thing about Legion is that there are four of them. In a one on one fight, they would lose to everyone. But if they were all there, even David might have some issues.

For Freddy, it would depend on where it takes place. In the real world, you are absolutely right, but in the dream world, Freddy has all the power.

Doctor doesn't seem weak to me.

Other than that, I mostly agree with this, although Joanna had a good point about Hag.

  • He's my second least favorite, mostly due to his backstory being the literal best we have (IMO). I find him boring to play, and, as Boss and Blueberry both said, his Mori seems to have set a new standard length. It's one of the coolest, but it lasts WAY too long.

He is, however, really powerful in the right hands.
