Omg yes

I would let that Myers stalk me till tier 3
-
360s, 4 petrified oaks, instaheals, bodyblocks, removing noed before it triggers and all that sort of stuff.
-
As a killer, you can control when the hatch opens. If u want 4K slug and kill.
-
Someone who only plays one role of the game shouldn't talk about balance:

How did they know you were jew?

You know what's funny? Some people will say the escape rate is less than 50% because of survivors dcing and dcing counts as a death. But they won't say anything about killers dcing as well and giving away free "escapes".
So i personally think the statistics are quite right. -
Yeah, it's been there for a while.
PS: u gonna play this weekend? Bought 3 whisky bottles. -
Afk crows shouldnt spawn when inside of killer's terror radius.SanKa_Games said:@Vietfox said:
Oh oh, just came up with an idea. If a survivor stays inside of a locker outside of killer's terror radius (there should be exceptions for wraiths, pugs, etc) suvivors are penalized with the loss of bps for every 10 seconds spent in lockers.Do you even know about AFK crows? Or do you know that people stay in lockers a lot against doctor to loose some madness? Or do you know about Insidious of tinkerer?
And what would you do if killer is an "exception"? Hide in lockers for all eternity.AFK crows are good enough for a penalty.
You can recover from madness by crouching. -

All the player telling me they never camp, never tunnel, don't use meta perks, don't use Moris and get 4K anyway at rank 1.
I don't really need moris nor to tunnel/camp to get 4K at rank 1. Maybe not always but 3K can be fairly easy to achieve.
MYC, for instance, is one of the best perks this game has released since encourages killers to not camp or tunnel. -
The only problem you'll face is when you reach rank 15. Lots of rank 1 players derank on purpose because they want easy matches.

Your thread seems quite immature.iTz_KilLaZ_x said:Ive watched the streams for a while now, and whenever the devs are asked questions regarding mechanic or balance changes, 75% of the time they don’t actually give a substantive answer
Just earlier, someone asked about Freddy and they hardly went into detail on the projected changes or thoughts. Same with DS, hatch, etc... we ask about potential new game modes and no specific details are given...
It’s frustrating as someone who supports this game to just be given empty statements rather than cogent responses
Devs already said that definitely want to work on Freddy, but how can you expect an answer if they still need to go through some more ideas and testing?
You want them to lie to you?
You want them to give you false expectations?
Devs are being careful with their statements especially because of people like you and other issues in the past, like the rework on DS and all the people who came to the forums to yell and complain. Devs have learnt that is better to not say anything till they are sure.
Btw, you should be thankful for the feedback they provide, few companies are that responsive. -
I had a match against this guy and his other 2 swf + a random. I killed his friend but he dced before i could hook him for the 3rd time, random dced as well.
2 swf remaining, that guy looped me well for 2 gens (thanks to adrenaline and deliverance) but managed to get him and kill him eventually.
Btw, i was playing as the doctor, lvl 14 with lullaby 1, distressing 1, unnerving pressence 2.
-
Iirc, they are gonna rework Freddy, at least change some stuff, but they can't say anything else because they need to test it.
Some people complained about them "dodging" the question, but if devs don't know the answer what does the community want, the devs to lie to them? -
I have an onion.

Because as a killer i never go further than rank 10 after the rank reset and can't really tell. Same as survivor, but this time was different because there were a couple of newbies and could experience how rank 15 killers really are. I blamed the killer because that's what i experienced, but never said survivors don't do it.
I would like to test it as a killer at rank 15, but i don't want to derank nor wait for 2 rank resets.Make a sub account on your PS4.
Might try it eventually though

And from my experience, the killer just learned it from the survivor.
Just like complaining on forum. :P

It's cool, but the way this game is designed i'm pretty sure it would be way more buggy.
-
I think the 2nd token is just like the movement speed from noed, no one uses those perks for those reasons, it's just an extra.
I kinda like the 2nd token idea though, many more killers would run it, meaning survivors would be forced to cleanse all the dull totems thus making the match last longer, also would kill NOED. The only problem i see is that it might kill build diversity as well.
The 4th token reward is too op and would kill perks like beast of prey and tinkerer. -
Yeah the tree one is a well known bug as well, just like the grass above the basement moving when you are walking in the basement.
The most annoying one for me on PS4, idk if it happens on other platforms, is when i run right after droping the pallet i crouch instead of running and stay like that for 2 or 3 seconds. That has got me killed several times.
Btw, in your last video why the hell the game says you died? -
Log 1 - Spirit 0
It's a known bug, just don't do that again till they fix it. -
@The_Daydreamer
Open handed works with Kindred, i've been running this build for a long time, i know it works. It's also a solid build when playing solo or with one more friend.

This is what I did and it didn't just improve my anger management and decreased my stress level, it also gave me a freaking killer body (clown it was for me). Awesome, I can honestly only recommend. Only downside is that most good scotches are a bit expensive.
@PiiFree
Beer is what gives you the clown body. Straight whisky doesn't make you fat, at least not for me.Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought 4cl whisky contains about the same amount of calories as 3dl beer.
I propably drink both too much so it wouldn't make a difference to me :P
I haven't done any research tbh, i'm talking about my personal experience lol

That's why i asked you where were you when people say they gotta face swf with instaheals, bnps, etc almost in every game.
Might be their personal experience, probably twisted because people tend to remember better bad experiences or maybe they had a bad day, but we all know it's not like this, not at all. -
Good killers can handle the situation with the current FOV.
Sorry but if this game has to be balanced around good survivors should be the same for good killers as well. -

Where are you when people claim to face swf with instaheals and BNPs quite frequently/almost every game? LolGames should be balanced at the top; not at the mean or mode. Also, game balance and DCing have nothing to do with one another.

The DC rate is not known, so I advise you to stop making ######### up and talking about what you don't know. DC bans are happening, as evidenced by the complaint threads after each and every single ban wave. You don't see the big picture; the devs do.Your reading comprehension is pissing me off. l2r, I was talking about MY experience as I clearly stated, which is btw also totally irrelevant to the actual topic.
Your personal experience is not representative of the whole problem with DCing.

@scumrrado since you do long posts and its fine but if someone respond to you making as well a long post and you won't read it through but respond anyway cuz you are lazy, I'm gonna summarize it for you:GetGood
I'm the OP and I'm not making disrespectful jabs at anyone's skill. So, please stop being disrespectful. I'll read this post of yours.
And as far as "GetGood" goes, I can't really get better than Rank 1 lol
@Malakir said:
If you as survivor main can't hit a skill check even when its the only thing that you do its your problems for not being "skilled" for that check. If as a killer main one can't chase down survivors even when it's the only thing that they do it's their problem for not being 'skilled' at that. See how unhelpful and blatantly untrue saying something like that is?
Need. stop whining about it, its literally the easiest perk to counter cleansing it. You don't even have to actively look for every totem for how awful the spawns are. They are in the open or close to a general, it takes 20s ish to cleanse it, so you're just being lazy.
It's not about being lazy. I cleanse every totem I see. It's that survivors don't know if their team has cleansed all totems unless they're in comms. And if we don't know that information and when NOED activates we aren't told we're exposed, then ######### lol Tell us we failed the sub-objective and notify us of the exposed status when it activates.
DS feels cheap since I mostly play survivor and played Laurie lvl1 (where she belongs) and the skill check is easy af. So it might be you're not used to do gens through ruin so you find it difficult
At the same time ds gives you at minimum 30s of killers time if he commits that can be prolonged depending on the situation and survivor skill up to 1 to 2 min if doesn't lose the victim.
If you are so lazy to even just read through my post but answer anyway I can imagine why you put noed and DS close together. Lazy thinking
You're aware that the Success Zone of skill checks can vary, correct? And that DS has the smallest Success Zone in the game, apart from those caused by stacked perks or Great Skill Checks.
Sure, there's working through Ruin, but Ruin ultimately gets it's value, whether it's slowing down gen progress or slowing down the game while survivors search for the hexed totem. DS can be stripped of it's value by juggling or missing the one chance one gets to use it.
I'm only talking about DS because many responses brought it up. What's lazy is you not reading the thread before trying to make jabs. I wasn't too lazy to read your post. I didn't read it because of how you started it. If you were more respectful in your response, I would have gladly read it. I'm happy to have healthy, constructive debate.
Edit: almost forgot. On controller wiggle it's easy. Just rotate the stick, you don't even need to do it fast. Its absurd you find it odd unless you move it left and right which is dumb. I figured it out in my first 5 minutes into the game
And again, trying to devalue my skill. I'm Rank 1. I know how to wiggle and I still think it's an awkward mechanic that makes landing the DS skill check that much more difficult.

I agree that survivors should know that they are exposed instead of the status only being shown after the first hit. I've been downed many times by taking a hit for a teammate only for me to end up being dead.Taking a hit is supposed to be a risk for you. Why are you upset that you had to endure the risk?
Whenever survivors are exposed, they are notified that they are exposed. Except for NOED. NOED does not notify survivors until someone gets hit and is insta-downed. And NOED is the only time when survivors can actually combat being exposed. That's the issue - not getting the exposed status when NOED activates.
What if they added a Survivor Perk that gave every survivor an undeclared extra health state at the end of the game if all survivors remained alive? 1) That's not what the winning side needs 2) The Killer wouldn't know and would be pissed when they found out. NOED rewards a losing killer. Not exactly what the killer deserves, but to a degree, that's ok - that's what makes this an asymmetrical game and I like the fear of being exposed. Just let me know I'm exposed please.
If survivors had no clue what conditions they were suffering from, they would never have a chance to win. It would be way too unpredictable. There are so many perks in this game, certain information needs to be conveyed.
Dude, i'm a survivor main (70/30) who has played for 2 years and i can tell you i don't need that information in order to be able to survive. -
Totally agreed @MasterMaster said:@Vietfox said:
The hatch problem is people complaining about the hatch. 3K is a win already, are you really that greedy?
If so, slug the 3rd one and go kill the 4th one.as survivor you can win without surviving too, why are you so desperate for an escape?
Just to put things into perspective, you can only blackpip with a 4k

I personally think that i won when i was able to be helpful to my team, doesnt matter if i die or survive (of course surviving is better, just like 3 and 4K)
But right because of this i don't think the hatch should be an issue at all.
You got 3K? be happy about it
You helped your team to escape? Be happy about it.

I agree with @Orion this time, the amount of information survivors get is ridiculous, it should be more intuitive.Orion said:@Strider said:

If solo:
- Kindred: if u get hooked survivors will know if killer camps you or someone is coming to get you, so the other 2 can keep repairing gens instead of wasting time.
- Bond: you won't be running self care so you can look for teammates to heal you or to know if someone being chased is coming to you
- Open handed: increase by 8 meters the aura reading from bond and kindred (the other survivors will be able to see killers aura within 16 meters range instead of 8)
- Small game: almost every killer runs ruin and/or noed. You can find totems without small game, but that perk allows you to find them way faster, and time is a key factor if you want to survive. Also helps against trappers and hags. -
Sure, why not.
-
Some killers need to be buffed a bit more, a part from that the game is quite balanced in its current state.
-
@PeanitsPeanits said:Dedicated servers do not magically fix everything. Lag in particular is not going away, it would likely be worse with dedicated servers.
To give an example, you mentioned getting hit when the killer is far away. Right now:
- Game sends your data to the killer (slight delay)
- Killer recieved that data. If they register a hit, the game sends data back to you to register the hit on your end (slight delay again)
That's basically it currently, massively simplified of course. With dedicated servers however:
- Game sends your data to the server (slight delay)
- Server sends your data to the killer (another slight delay)
- Killer receives your data. If they register a hit, the killer sends that data to the server. (Another delay)
- Server sends that data to you to register a hit on your end. (A fourth delay)
So in that case, you're going to have even more lag on hits. Servers aren't magic, it takes time for your data to physically travel between two places. Adding extra steps to that process increases that delay. Even games with dedicated servers have these issues. You'll notice it particularly with shooters where you could get shot well after you went behind a wall on your end.
That's just the tip of the iceberg, there's a lot more reasons why it's not a clear choice.
Rocket league is a game with dedicated servers, it's a game that requires precision and haven't had any problems with that.
