Give us your game changing story on HEX: The Third Seal, lol.
I slugged all 4 to death with old legion and hex the third seal. that's a once in a lifetime thing tho, same as monstrous shrine could've maybe prevented a kobe in one of my basement funbuilds.

I never said killer perks are OP, but saying their perks are not game changing (because I am a firm believer that every perk can be) is just a stretch, specially saying that survivor perks are.
Man dat game changing monstrous shrine, game changing thanatophobia and game changing iron grasp.
The only perks that killers have that would actually be worthy of the title "game changing" would be:
Pop
STBFL, PWYF on certain killers, Surveillance on certain killers.
Hexperks if not found but on many maps totems are still not hidden well.
We have so much useless crap that would never get picked if this wasn't a non-competitive game in the first place.
Same goes for survivors who have perks that basically amount to additional HOOKSTATES which is the best a perk can get, stuff like Babysitter and repressed alliance is really actually cool but they don't find use since they are too niche while Deadhard/SB/Adrenaline/DS/BT get way more use, way easier and with way more effect.

None of the perks work if you suck as a killer. Learn how to use them to your advantage. Combine Ruin with Surveillance. Combine Lullaby with Thanataphobia and get those hits and hooks. Watch any video of a good killer and you'll see a ton of ways to get the job done. Claiming "gen rush" is just like screaming "I suck as a killer."
depip squad already proved that even with all the nerfs, if survivors want to just play to get out they'll get out.
As the devs said tho, this is not how people play so it's not taken into consideration, same with "good" killers sweating their ass off against teams trying to not play m1 simulator and then claiming they wiped the floor with them.
Anyways since their fogwhisperers are even agreeing on genspeeds being too fast after the (needed) ruin nerf they will adress this issue. Currently even if you down survivors in less than 20 seconds each you will still not win if they focus on gens.

Love when crybaby Killers throw a hissy fit "Waaahhh, I'm being Gen rushed... WAAAHHH" But yet that's literally THE Survivors objective 😂 Grow up and get good, simple as that. When all 4 of us Survivors are melted down by a good Killer I or we don't cry screaming "Kill rush, Kill rush!!! You're not supposed to kill us that fast!!" This game is literally a cry fest. Fist time back on the forums in months and all i see is whiny entitled Killers threads.
The thing is, a killer cannot melt a competent survivor team, that would require all 4 going down basically next to each other, the only way to reliably do this is by playing oni or nurse with the plague perk of which the name I can't remember. Meanwhile optimal survivorplay is holding m1 and splitting up for the first 3 gens and not getting 3genned. Playing survivor feels like playing an MMO in it's early stages where ppl were challeneged with debuffing or staying out of the fire.
I think it's sad that the DBD devs work with a team from a different game that has solutions to many issues but decide not to take them (2v8 mode comes to mind). Like for example what's the damn point of trying to do gens when you're 2 survivors left with 3+ gens? How about the entity speeds up gen progression for cases like this to make it interesting, same thing with the start of the game, give the killer a grace period to even have a chance at finding the first survivor before a gen pops. We need more mechanics that combat the insane snowball in this game.
-
BT Is one of the reasons games go fast as heck sometimes. Survivors can just send 1 person and unless the killer ACTUALLY camps BT will always guarantee a really unsafe unhook even in last second before the next stage. Without BT survivors would send more than 1 person slowing the game down but currently it's just so safe that there's rarely a reason unless against billy/bubba.

Arguing that gen rushing isn't real because it's the survivors objective is like arguing that tunneling isn't real because the killers only job is to get survivors dead as quickly as possible.
Also people always blame the devs for genrushing, mate. Actually take a look around the forums. We've been asking for a secondary objective or new game mode for years at this point.
Sad thing is that they probably will never implement 2v8 mode because of the spaghetti code this game runs on.

You're right, they should take away the W button.
Didn't say that, I just said against many killers you can just win on maps like autohaven by simply holding W because by the time he gets to you even after seeing you 30 to 40 seconds have passed, heck Midwhich is an even worse example.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzbN3cs9ZwI&t=175s
Many times as a killer you win because ppl just try dumb plays, they could just play in a boring way where they just waste max time with no real plays whatsoever and they'd be better off.

Man what a great point, I just don't hook the person and I avoid flashlights, DS borrowed time, I cage them but it's basically the same as giving the survivor a free escape unless the survivors wait 2 minutes before rescuing him from the cage, 200 IQ.

The fact that the game is still survivor sided after a ######### ton of nerfs is VERY telling, survivorloops got nerfed and made unsafe? Survivors just resort to the press W to win tactic now against m1 killers.

That question is way too out of context. It isn't exactly applicable to every killer either because different killers have different win conditions. For example, Oni win condition is all about getting blood, so for him, as long he gets first hit, he is all about draining the blood out of survivors and in his case, draining blood for 40 seconds is just fine for him. Once he gets his power, he has a goal to try to down as many survivors as possible in single Oni charge so that he can keep them injured. Being injure=more future Oni powers and that is how you get massive snowball going. In general though, if your not getting hits every 20 seconds or pallet drop at very least every 20 seconds than your setting yourself up for a loss as killer. Its up to you to find ways to combat looping and for you to find opportunities to get the hits that you need to win the match within context of your killer/situation. So no, it doesn't apply to just Nurse and Huntress, it applies to every killer in broad context.
Im not gonna take advice from you mate.
The 20 second rule is completely made up for 90% of killers out there, I watch Zubatlel alot who's arguably one of the best killers out there and unless he plays nurse each chase will take AT LEAST 20 seconds unless the survivor screw up majorly. Heck even fungoose will take more than 20 seconds per hit on ghostface if the survivor is good, by that logic you're only going after the weakest link each time and hoping that the map doesn't screw you over. It's simple math, even if the survivor holds W, you will take 20 seconds to reach them in most cases.
And I really don't think you're better than what the best people in this game have to offer.

No, you just suck at playing Bubba. Bubba has skills as well. Driving Bubba chainsaw around loops when you have your stacks of speed boost without going into tantrum(hitting object) is a skill. Another major skill for bubba is time management. I have a rule when I play killer. I call it "20 second rule" and this rule states that if your not getting hits as killer within 20 seconds, than your chasing for too long and over committing to chases. When Bubba find obesssion, He spends time getting stacks and this usually involves losing obsession and re-finding obsession quickly, so tracking is very important on Bubba. Another major skill for bubba is understanding distances for when you are able to get a chainsaw, Ideally you want to get chainsaw hit on last hit before the survivor enters window tilesets, but you can play it safe depending on situation in the game. The chainsaw killers in general are all about attempting to greedy your chainsaw as hard as possible without hurting yourself in the process. This is exactly what Tru3 is talking about when he says that Bubba is underrated. Bubba doesn't suck, The people who play Bubba suck and refuse to learn to play Bubba in a skillful manner that is enabled by these perks. Insidious camping Leatherface is not really a strategy and it certainly isn't skillful. Bubba isn't some A-tier killer that is going to win every game, but he has tools to put up a fight to try to win the game that does not involve facecamping hooks.
r u playing against complete potatoes or nurse/huntress? Because a chase will take a minimum of 20 seconds to get a hit on any survivor that knows what he's doing unless you surprise him.

Dunno about that one. Like, in the right hands he can do well, but many other killers can do much better.
He also ranked Pig as one of the worst killers, which I feel isn't true. She's definitely lower mid-tier. Not good, but not bad.
7th best is still pretty bad, but fungoose is a really strong player.

exactly, you prethrow the pallets so he basically never gets PWYF and nemesis. If you wanna talk about a good killer without breaking the game take freddy as your base for a killer.

To be fair without Nemesis/PWYF he is pretty weak against good survivors. It's just that with that combo it allows his power to be really really strong. New perks coming up can shake up the meta.
He's still garbage, the thing is that an experiment during a time where survivors are trying to get their crown is stupid to begin with. He's gonna sweat his ass off with an optimal build against people derping around. The optimal play against nemesis/pwyf LF is to just drop the pallet early and use windows as much as possible if you're not the obsession. If your teammates are not doing gens or if you're on a bad map then it's gg but that's just DBD for you.

It’s not nonsense if there are some people happy about the fact they can relate to the char.
but in DbDs case I really think they want to make realistic and natural characters and that does include LGBT+. It’s really shouldn’t be such a big deal. With the amount of lore we are getting with new characters and tomes it was bound to happen so that the lore has more variety.
My point flew right over your head.

All this representation is nonsense when it's coming from corporations, there I said it.

-
NOED does not reward you for being bad at the game, if you are bad then survivors have enough time to do bones, if you are good then survivors won't have time to cleanse all 5 totems. The game is literally designed over all 5 gens popping, if they do not then the survivors ######### up massively.

Your best bet is to go for the survivor who is making saves. Just always assume that the unhooked survivor either has BT or DS. If you're lucky they'll waste time healing before they do anything productive.
The problem is that survivors abuse broken perks like there's no tomorrow, the BT guy will often bodyblock for the unhooker.

And honestly I don't expect any improvement regarding server infrastructure. People pointed out this problem half a year ago, but still nothing happened.
Is there a way to do this without a monthly VPN payment?

Well with noed it says you had a crutch. It's the same as when you have a survivor escape and try to call you trash but all of their parks were crutch perks. I've made comebacks without noed. Which shows you can capitalize on their mistakes or rely on things that aren't one hit knockdown related.
There is currently no need to nerf killer perks as long as survivors are the power-role, especially not NOED.
NOED's true power comes from making survivors fear dull totems, it's powerful even if killers don't use it.

I play well with him at all ranks, there’s times where you can chainsaw and times where you can’t; simple as that. I think the issue with chainsaw killers is that people try to chainsaw every single chance they get.
By that logic no killers need buffs because every killer can m1 survivors.
Bubba desperately needs buffs because he has no chance against decent survivors on a survivorsided map.

LoL, the idea is not even hexworthy, that sounds more like a normal perk with terrible scaling by the way. 3 seconds? The survivor gets out if you dont have stbfl unless he was instadowned, also only basic attacks? LoL.

The game is genuinly balanced if you don't go vs SWF swat commandos with coordinated saves. I mostly 4k against solos with the odd 2 person escape (I count 3k as 4k unless gates are open, I don't hatch-slug) unless I play something weaker than freddy of course. Well... Can't blame you.
Playing against gen aggressive SWF teams feels like playing a different game sometimes. Even if you get your downs quickly gens fly anyways. Just tried to play an overly fair Pyramid Head match. Longest chase was less than 30 seconds.
I noticed the gens were flying like nothing so at 2 gens I tried to slug using Knock Out. Even though the survivor was slugged in a dead zone he got picked up the moment I left (no Unbreakable). 4 man escape despite quick downs and not even one single 1+min chase.
Last gen popped while I was chasing someone. Person got Adrenaline. I dropped the chase and just opened the gate and wanted to move on to the next game.
They however decided to toy around in the map, open the other gate and waited till the very last EGC second before leaving even though I didn't tunnel, didn't camp and only tried to slug 1 single time with Knock Out which was pointless as they were on voice coms.
Got BM'd via vault spam and received a party inv where all 4 survivors were in. Everyone was acting childish as hell.
I ended up playing Bubba for the rest of the day.
The game is not balanceed around SWF; the main issue is that they can effectively coordinate saves. 1 Guy usually goes to save and if you catch that 1 guy who goes to save by surprise immediately another goes.
