You still have some?

Yeah so, now we'll see a rise in key use (since you won't need to worry about being moried as soon as possible) but that's ok.
-
Disables bloodlust with higher chances of going to Ormond. That'll sure be fun.

- Make struggling on the hook automatic (or more fun, like hitting skillchecks for bloodpoints) instead of button mashing.
- Pause sacrifice timer when killer is face camping during the second phase (missing skillchecks can still regress timer, so that game can't be held hostage)
- Drastically reduce BP gain for hardcore facecamping. I'm talking like 1000 BP/second decay if you're within 15 meters of the hook for more than 30 seconds.
- Drastically increase BP gain for survivors struggling on the hook, to incentivize staying in the game and not suiciding on hook.
So, what the killer should do when you get 1 or more teammates close to the hook? Go away and let them save in your face? Drop any chases that go near the hook. This would me mega exploitable.

Getting Dedicated hits is fine..
70% killer sided maps is fine..
every map 90% unsafe pallets is fine..
Dead ends in 50% of maps is fine...
Hitboxses large as a refrigator is fine...
oh no they remove bloodlust ... BHVR how dare you did that, that is unacceptable!!!
You're either trolling (that's ok, good laughs) or really new to the game. Or play just one side. Either way, good bait.
-
Hell yeah, we should also remove pallet breaking, just imagine creating dead-zones so survivor have nothing to loop you?

Yeah, that's like playing among us with comms. You either play by rules and shut your mouth when it's not a discussion or when you are dead, unless you are talking on unrelated topics or you are a cheating moron. Especially if you are playing with randoms, while being in party with a friend. There's a special place in hell for both SWF "jUsT fOr fUn" and Among Us "My friend told me that imp is X"
And yet in Amung Us the majority of the player base just shut the hell up for the sake of the good game, why the hell ppl can't do It in DBD? When I play with my friends we usually screw eachother and never call out killers (except when they're playing really scummy like camping or tunneling, and I mean REAL tunneling as "I'll drop this chase just to down the person that got unhooked in the other side of the map"). Everyone of our group play both sides, and not 20/80 but 50/50, so everyone knows how comms f. up killers.

The problem is comms, not SWF.
-Comms replace: Kindred, Bond, Empathie, maps...
-Comms boost: Keys, Object of obsession, Head on, Adrenaline, DS, sabo save, bodyblock save, palett save, flashlight save...
-Comms counter: Totems, Trapper, Hag, any stealthy killer.
And you don't need to be a godlike player to capitalize on this.
That! Most survivor players who SWF constantly always says "but we're just having fun. We're not depip swat squads". Then call every movement of the killer to their friends.
Comms are OP, SWF can be really fun if you're really for shits and giggles, but if you're constantly saying "oh the killer is here, the killer is moving there. Go for the save as I'll finish this gen." etc... You ARE abusing comms.
-
If you're PC, report them to STEAM, at least THEY do something about it.
-
Yeah, they love exploiting this. Just face camp both untill either one of them dies or the other decides do get away from the hook.

^Thats the hypocrite logic i am talkin about.
what he says is:
If you dont want survivor to bully you get good.
But if the Killer would tunnel and camp this person and someone would say " well if you dont want to get tunneled and camped just get good" he would be upset blame his teammates or the Killer for being toxic.
They EXPECT (its a given ofc) that the Killer is not exploiting the weakest Survivor by removing him from the Game as fast as possible. But its okay and logical to go full force vs a baby Killer cuz he just has to get gud.
Resuming survivor's entitlement.
Yesterday I've downed a Feng next to a Dwight hooked (she had the great idea of trying to unhook him in my face), she tried to exploit the hook (going underneath it so I couldn't grab her).
Face camped both untill she got out of there.
TL;DR: Be ruthless, relentless, 99% of the time surivors will exploit ANYTHING that gives them the upper hand, so don't feel bad doing it as a killer.

So, as a Myers Main im "trying" to learn, how to play Nurse and Huntress, but every single Time the Survivor notice that im a Baby Killer (with Nurse and Huntress) and bully the S**t out of me. Either that or i just get some compassion points. Thats so frustrating. How should i ever be able to learn these two Killers?
Cheers♥
Yeah, when I was learning nurse I got a lot of those bully survivors. They're even more toxic when playing with their little friends. So what I've done is, take a print (if you're pc) save it somewhere that you can open and try to remeber their names (you'll play against them someday) and when you play against them again, either as your main killer or as a good nurse (you'll get there, eventually) you show 'em the first hook mori treatment.
Besides that, you just ignore what they're doing and go play another match, is just a stupid unbalanced game and the sooner you just don't give a f. to these kind of players the better you'll get.
-
I think EGC hooks can help you since they count more in the emblem system, but yeah, gotta sweat blood for this one.

I think you hit it right on the head. Map size is a tremendous indicator of what kind of match is going to be. I had one match on a large map where I did almost a whole lap around the map without finding any greens being worked on, only to finally return to my starting location and have the gen completed in my face. Smaller maps definitely have a greater sense of urgency to them, both as a killer and survivor.
Yeah, entering a match wich you think in the first second "ok, how will I 3-gen this map" is really frustrating, but is something you get used to as a killer. Planning on how to "lose".

@[Deleted User] said:
I can approach this question as someone who plays killer at a high level and also plays in an optimal 4 man SWF.
Base gen regression is not worth the time spent kicking the gen at a certain point. You are not stopping a 75% gen by doing a normal kick if someone else is in the area. ESPECIALLY against a 4 man. I can't think of a bigger time waster than kicking gens without Pop. In fact, we'll often bait killers into repeatedly kicking a gen, running us off, and chasing us in an area of the map while someone else does the gen we actually want to get done. It's a common strat of ours in late game scenarios. "Hey, look over here!" Oops, different gen got done and the person you're chasing had Adrenaline.
Overall I don't think gen speed is an issue. The issue is map size and an overabundance of safe tiles. My team shouldn't be able to pre-throw pallets for the first 3 gens and never even feel squeezed on resources while we 4 man out. That shouldn't be a viable strat, but it is on 90% of the maps if your team is slamming gens.
That's it. I can't stress enough how gen speed or even regression speed aren't the problem. Maps are the problem. ######### coldwind with intertwined loops is a great example. There are maps that I can run a killer for 30s without dropping a pallet, it's dumb and the killer can do so much against it.
That's the reason I'm learning nurse. F. Loops. F. Pallets. F. Jungle gyms.
But yes, maps are the real problem in this game. They're way too safe when the survivor(s) know how to loop.

How would you even avoid the DS bug in the first place?
Slug. Slug all day long. I almost never eat a Ds but If the unhooked comes right at me or sit in a gen on my face I'll slug him for sure.
-
If you purposefully use a killer that you know that DS is bugged (for me it could and should be a ghost nerf) you can't complaint against ppl using ninja Ash.
-
Also: could we please stop getting 60k BP daily to Mori someone? I use the green one for those on last hook, but as someone who plays survivor a lot (still less than killer) I know the sensation of loading a game with a secret killer offering.
-
I face toxic (and now hacking, go figure...) Survivors all the time. Even when playing Nurse (at least you should respect the amount of time and effort someone puts in when learning her and her game-breaking bugs), but I never return it as killer or survivor.
Toxic killers are far more hard to distinguish, as I know (as a killer main) that sometimes tunneling someone isn't necessarily toxic behavior. But freddy... Everything that Freddy do is toxic, I really hate playing against him. It's not that I can't loop him (he's not THAT op guys, suck it up) but the matches are SO boring...
Anyway, being toxic is just childish in a game that isn't even competitive. I couldn't give 2 f's for those ppl.
Still annoying tho' when the toxic player is someone who's clearly garbage at the game

Face Camping and Tunneling will always be a part of the game. If a killer downs you early game and face camps you for the rest of the match, then yeah that isn't fun but if it's endgame? That's fair game.
As for tunneling, it depends on how you define tunneling. It's strategically more advantageous to go after the injured survivor, even if they've been freshly unhooked. But if the killer is just relentlessly chasing one survivor only despite other opportunities presenting themselves? That's tunneling.
Also, if the killer is relentlessly chasing just one survivor from the get go (excluding the possibility of a bad unhook) it will probably cost him the game...
But as said. Face camping is ok (for me) if it's late game all gens done... At least 1k the killer can secure... And tunneling depends on what the killer is doing, you can't blame the killer for go after the injured person.

TBH it really doesn't need a cooldown given that regressing generators are immune to surge.
Aka Surged generators are immune to being surged again until a survivor begins to fix them again.
There's that too, thinking on it, you wouldn't even try to abuse it 'cause if you proc it 2 times in a row it would just waste the perk.
-
The devs wants the grind to "keep ppl playing the game", when the grind is the reason a lot of ppl drop (when you start getting the hang of the game you learn that PERKS win matches, not "only" skill, so you'll want them, and will have to grind like a ######### to get (my first BBQ was a month worth of play).
Most of my friends don't play that much or quit playing just 'cause of this insane grind.

@Iron said:
Imo it's fine, I use it on trapper all the time. Would you want to remove it or just lower it to a smaller cool down?
Just lower to a smaller CD. No cd would be bad too (GF and Meyers could abuse it, as well as nurse, since most of the time you're getting downs really quick). OR, if the CD is kept, make the regression be a little bit higher? 10% ? 15 maybe?

What you guys need to understand (I play both sides, more killer, but somehow I'm better ranked as survivor, I think is 'cause I don't give that much of a ######### when I'm playing as) is that slugging is needed, at least in one moment in the game, if the killer wants to win, It's not playing scummy, It's just strategy.
It's not survivors' fault either (even when some SWF are toxic and BS as hell) it's the game core mechanics that force you to do it, you need to pressure the map and just chase - hook - patrol - chase (rinse and repeat) it's a garanteed way to lose a match.
Edit: Sorry, I saw a lot of ppl telling to run Unbreakable (?) and just went full on assuming it was about slugging.
Ok tunneling. Still a viable strategy as a killer, so you can get rid of one player before there's just 2 gens left. Still, if someone goes out of their way to tunnel you, that's kinda scummy and if you know how to loop it will cost the game for the killer (unless some meghead unhooks you in the face of the killer without BT).
Run DS if you think you'll go down in a minute after being unhooked or just play immersed and let another teammate be the unlucky one...
I personaly don't mind being tunelled (if the meghead doesn't show up I'll probably just run the killer for 3 to 5 gens) but the depip or black pip (and low BP) kinda sucks.
-
@Heartbound said:
Toxic survivor here. It may be counter-intuitive but taunt the killer. Press 2 to do the "Come here" motion and run the killer around a safe loop once or twice and pallet slam him. They'll generally take that to mean that you want to be chased and leave you alone.
But I mean if he does wanna tunnel after you pallet slam him once or twice, all the pallets are still up. Take him on a tour of the place. If you get hooked and he tunnels you again right after though I'd plug pull, but that's just me.
Laughs in Nurse.

What bugs are you talking about? I’ve only played one match as her so I don’t think I’ve came across any yet.
So, as someone who's learning her (4k in 3 straight games, I'm feeling that I'm getting the grip of it haha) I can't really tell you all of her bugs (It would take all day) but the most rage inducing are the deadzones (midwich is just a giant one) and the glitch that makes her hold her left hand as it was channeling a blink after the first one (wich prevents you from m1 the survivor)... Oh, and now it seems that some of her post blink m1 just go trough survivors, seems like the servers aren't connecting the hit for some reason...
But yeah, once you learn and just don't mind the bugs, she's really fun to play.
-
The aura reading of Undying is at it's strongest on early game, 'cause the killer is twitching like a crackhead searching for survivors. After the first chase he'll either be on gens or in chases, so it's aura reading becomes neglectable so I wouldn't waste a perk slot for "countering" that.
-
I thinking in playing HG + Undying in nurse, just to see what will happen.

I cant create a post for each one of them devs and cant detail how to do the bug because it would be too much to write.
So there is bugs i found on the new patch (maybe some are changes).
DS Stun Time, after getting dropped the stun goes away and you cant create any space between you and the killer.
FREDDYS DREAM barely can see in a lot of maps, the blue ones like macmillian are the worst, i didnt looked the basement but maybe its too dark
KICKED OUT OF THE TEAM, when in swf after playing one match you get kicked to the lobby
NEW DRAGON PERK BUGGED the perk work but the survivor dont scream, this bug is happening since the PTB
MEDKIT FLARE the medkits are too pink and you can see them miles away
TALL GRASS SHORT KILLER, you cant see basically, we need to make the grass transparent in a longer distance when the killer hitbox is touching it
TINKERER BUG after all the gens are turned on tinkerer activates cause the game turn the remaining gens on
TIER 3 MYERS, i dont know if its a visual bug or something but the knife goes to a strange position
FLASHLIGHT POSITION, again dont know if it is to be like that but now the flashlight doesnt have the feature to go to the killer chest naturally you need to put the cam up before flashlighting
KILLER ACTION BUTTON NOT RESPONDING, sometimes when you press the button to put the surv on the hook, break the pallet or similar your character moves but doesnt initiate the action so you need to press several times
HOOK SPAWNS ON MIDWICH, unlike other maps midwitch cant be sabotagged for only one person, one corridor on the second floor has llike 3 hooks so these hooks need to be replaced and removed, put some of them inside the classes.
Thats it if i found out new things or see any comment with a new bug that is game breaking i ll update.
Killers with no TR or Red Stain...
-
Forgot to mention the new killer buff: NO TR or Red Stain... (I'm a killer main and don't even want to play as killer 'cause this is beyond busted).

It's been several matches now that a killer with no abilities or perks to hide their terror radius, suddenly stop having one. Was something added in the new patch regarding that? Or is this just dbd being dbd making things worst on every update?
Just the old spaghetti code.

Is it also a bug that killers can't hear gens through walls and floors now?
Is it also a bug that you literally need to face check every gen because they removed the sound of gens being worked on by a survivor?
That's been here for a long time... Killers have been hadicaped on sounds for a while now...
-
Went against a huntress, a wraith and a F. Spirit (thank you satan) with 0 heartbeat. Pretty good job so far.
-
I think that he has a hump right? So I guess the "hump" is "taller" than hag, but his head stands in the same spot, am I right?
-
I love when I get to hard meme a game. But nowadays this kind of matches are getting rarer =/
-
I'm with Tofu on this one. Gen speed isn't the real problem (play as survivor once, is really slow). The problem is the map design. They're either too large or too crowded with safe pallets and "safe" loops (and can be worse, sometimes they're spawn a safe pallet into a god window that leads to a L-T wall or a jungle gym).
Devs should look into this and NO, breakable walls are NOT the solution (is another thing to waste killer's times 'cause it's either a MUST break or a MUST NOT break)
-
Yeah... I mean, I can live with hill bug (just don't go near), with Oni power but (just make sure that you don't grab a survivor with 99% of your power), with nurse (the embodiment of bugs)
But this sound bug really cost me more games (as killer) than anything else. You just don't have the time to go down house of pain to check if the generator is being done, especially in f. Haddonfield. But seems like this is the only thing to do nowadays, face-check every gen.

I need help getting better as a killer. I just played a game that lasted less than 3 mineuts and I only got one hook, now in my defense it was a full 4 man SWF, playing on PC, on comms, that was real toxic, they were all rank 1, also they sent me to Ormond. Any advice to get better at killer? I don't know how I went from being a rank 1 for half a year to being rank 11 but whatever, any advice to get better is appreciated.
Yeah, as said above, if you know that you're facing a 4 men SWF (check the steam profile if you play on it) just bring a mori and use it frist hook (at least in the first hooked survivor) so it'll turn the game in your favor.
If they've sent you to ormond first mori them all, no mercy, everybody knows that this map is broken even for solo survivors, and it's beyond broken against a SWF.
